Located on the main cross road of Stockton heath, which is a busy social town, great for a night out!. A very good bar specialising in "Gin" but does have a full bar!. Very busy, love the stylish decor and lively atmosphere. Prices usual for this type of bar more expensive than a pub but you are paying for the quality & atmosphere. Overall, really enjoyed our pre meal drink. There is some limited seating outside on the pavement, noisy traffic area but great for people watching!!. Enjoy!

Recently celebrated a baby shower at Gin Alley, the staff were really helpful and the venue ideal for a small gathering for family and friends. The area was tidy and clean with plenty of seating and tables and everyone enjoyed the day. Thank You.

Attended this venue for a 30th birthday party but because one of the attendees was only 20 years old (two year above the drinking age) the whole party of 10 was turned away from the establishment. Incredibly poor customer service and rude members of staff, non of our company will be attending again, we were not even informed of this requirement in advance of attending.

Best bar in Stockton Heath by a country mile. Great drinks, great service and great live music on a Friday and Saturday night.

We went in here for a quick drink before our meal. I ordered a gin (they didn’t know how to make the cocktail we asked for) then was asked by the female manager to remove my hat. There was no reason or explanation offered so I said no. She proceeded to tell me that if I didn’t remove my hat then they’d refuse to serve me. If I’d been concealing my face with a black hoody around midnight there may have been some justification for that kind of behaviour but I was just wearing a peaked cap at 6pm on a cold evening. There was no dress code on the door and I subsequently haven’t been able to find one on their website. This is from a venue that describes itself as ‘quirky’. Sadly, all they actually are is pretentious fashion fascists. For all they knew, I could have had alopecia and been very conscious about it. Anyway, we left never to return and I’d implore you to do the same. Cue passive-aggressive rambling response from Danielle or Jamie…

We hired the venue for my baby shower and couldn’t recommend it enough. They were so accommodating and allowed us to provide food, balloons and to arrange the space as we wanted! I would definitely use Gin Alley again for room hire again!

What a fantastic venue. Had my special birthday celebrations here and it didn’t disappoint. Staff were really helpful during set up. Contact with the owners was always prompt and professional. Absolutely loved it and so did my guests so much so that my friend hired the venue for her celebration too 10/10***. Thanks so much x

We booked Gin Alley for a hen do for our friend, when we first contacted asking for a price we were shocked to find that all that was needed to secure the booking was a small deposit which was then redeemable behind the bar- we couldn’t believe our luck. We chose to redeem this against bottles of Prosecco and ‘No-secco’ (our pregnant/non drinking friends were really impressed by the non alocoholic options which also included non-alcoholic gin!) to be able to offer guests a glass on arrival. The bar staff were really accommodating for this and set up a table of ice buckets and glasses ready. Booking was super simple, we were well informed what time the bar would begin to be open to the public but we were informed this by no means meant we had to leave at that point. They also gave some great suggestions for food, however due to having a meal booked later on we chose not to act on this. We also could’ve decorated if we’d wanted to. The staff were helpful and accommodating right from booking, they put us in touch with musicians we were able to book for the day and everybody commented on what a lovely intimate venue it was. It was perfect for our group of 30. We’d use Gin Alley again for events in a heartbeat!

We live locally to Gin Alley and often come for drinks. It’s a fab little place. I also held my 30th party there with the free private hire and loved it. Very good atmosphere for a smaller group. Highly recommend.

Whilst arranging a private event at Gin Alley the owners and staff could not have been more helpful. They really went the the extra mile to make the afternoon perfect. The venue is an amazing space with very efficient and polite staff. Once we had cleared all of our decorations etc. from the afternoons celebrations, some of us did stay to enjoy a fab drink and the lively atmosphere of the evening!!! I could not recommend Gin Alley enough either for a private event or just a fun and fabulous night out. Thanks again Gin Alley

We held a family 30th birthday at this fantastic bar. It is such a great venue and so good that you can have it to yourself for a few hours and bring your own catering. The bar then opens to the public which adds to the great atmosphere. We also use this bar for special drinks and have always had a first class experience. Would highly recommend.

Great venue, cosy and great vibe highly recommended. Celebrated a 40’th here a few weeks ago. Had the place to ourselves until about 17:00 then the bar opened up to everyone which was perfect as we ended up staying into the evening

Owner is a bully. Staff called in sick so he stormed into the venue aggressively telling the entire party to leave mid baby shower. Absolutely awful.

I held my husbands 40th birthday party here and it was faultless! Professional staff, beautiful room, and we even got to bring our own pizzas in, room decor and live music. Really recommend! Will definatley be booking again! X

Wh had a private function here for a 40th birthday. Was an amazing venue, lots of local parking. Bar opened up to the public later in the evening and it got busy. Ended up staying a lot longer than planned. Lots of drink choices, great staff, great location

What a wonderful bar to have in our village. Gin Alley not only looks great from the outside, but has a cosy and stylish interior. The staff are great and there is such a large variety of drinks on offer. My friends and I love the atmosphere on a Friday and Saturday night with the live music making the night. You can sit and enjoy the music or get up and have a boogie around the tables. Finally, you can pre book a table easily online with a small deposit, which is taken off your drink order. Definitely worth a visit!

Can't give a 0 star! My friends has hosted a beautiful baby shower here and done so much to make it special and personalised. However at 5:30pm - who I assume - to be the owner came in kicking off that all of our stuff...

The staff are extremely rude and only happy if your spending a fortune behind the bar. The guy who runs it came into our event on the bounce being aggressive in front of kids with a full room of witnesses, avoid, avoid, avoid.

We have only visited once and what an amazing place! fantastically decorated charming establishment with friendly staff and a wide variety of drinks. The staff were extremely friendly. I would highly recommend.

This was a baby shower i organised and so i feel its important to respond to this with our side of this story. To which we have ample witnesses willing to attest to the truth. We had the room for 4 hours for a baby shower, we understand the room was ours exclusively fom 1-5pm, we have an email chain we are happy to share that stated they were happy for us to stay beyond 5pm, with an exclusive area reserved for us rather than the while venue. At no point was it explained to us, during the email chain, or during set up, that we needed to be cleared by 5pm, if we had known this, we would have ensured the vendors were back for 5pm and the room was clear. If this is our mistake for misunderstanding 1-5pm eclusively meaning everything had to be out then so be it but this still does not warrant the way it was handled. Just before 5pm, we asked the 1 member of staff who served our party all afternoon, whether we needed to move the stuff to an area given it was almost 5pm . The member of staff explained they were no longer opening to the public given people had called in sick, so once we had finished she would be closing, after which we started to help tidy round,. We messaged both balloon and food vendors to collect their things ASAP. The member of staff said there was no rush and she would stay as needed. The vendors came as soon as possible, within 40 minutes of being informed. At no point were we asked to leave the venue nor did we refuse to. We are not like that. We are a group of females, with small children and elderly relatives and a large man arrived whilst our heavily pregnant mum to be was opening gifts and waiting for vendors to arrive. He immediately turned on lights and stood in the middle of the party, infront of young children and aggressively told us we should have left at 5pm. We explained we were doing our best as we had not known this. We tried to explain, we did not know we had to be out, it wasn't it in the email, it wasn't what we were told by the member of staff, and no sooner we were made aware that it wasn't to stay open we had notified the vendors and had no choice but to wait for them. This was 5.30pm by the way at this point and the balloon lady arrived within minutes of his arrival and was clearing up as quickly as possible. This man was aggressive in front of children and in the face of a lady holding a baby, he made his own member staff cry and honestly, it was absolutely awful behaviour and completely ruined our day unecessarily. It's not our fault they had staff sickness and needed to suddenly close and we were doing the best we could to deal with that new information. This could have been approached in a friendly manner and without being done in front of mum to be and children. It was totally unnecessary and unprofessional and completely lacked care. To then say if you don't like it you know where the door is and moan about us only spending £292 in 4 hours is just unimaginably rude. They're saying £192 but that is incorrect. Irrespective of this, their commercial viability is not our problem. Do you kick people our who buy a Coke and not a Gin?? You should have pulled one of us and spoken to us about this in a calm and respectful manner. The mum to be was so upset she walked out on her own and stood in the rain until her husband picked her up. I cannot believe you are publicly defending this or having people leave fake reviews. Our reviews are honest reviews and opinions.

Enjoyed a girls night out and the atmosphere was fantastic. Booked in advance as there was a large group of us and the communication prior was prompt. Great singer on the night. Great customer service. Definitely recommend and will be back again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We recently held my sisters baby shower at Gin Alley. Danielle, and her team were absolutely fantastic, nothing was too much for them, the staff throughout the afternoon were so helpful, making us not so pregnant guests the most amazing cocktails and gins. I would recommend Gin Alley for any occasion or event.

An amazing event hire!! Loads of choice of quality drinks and warm and friendly staff. The guidelines are clearly stated (1-5 etc) and the owners are very accommodating with personalising the room. Would recommend for any event, or just drop in for a cheeky drink!

I had my 40th surprise birthday here and havw been too a few other private events here too, the customer service and drink selection has always been excellent. Staff are very friendly and service is quick and efficient.

Amazing local bar in the village. Love the live music there on the weekend! We also had my boyfriends 30th party a few weeks ago at Gin Alley and it was such an amazing afternoon. Great venue for a special occasion, we also hired their resident singer as well who created such a great atmosphere.

Had a great time there on Saturday. So much flavour gin and other cocktails to try, the service was great, the atmosphere was super with live guitar and good fun people.

First time visitor last week. Very impressed with the interior of the place rustic style. Being a gin bar, an impressive selection of gins, rums, vodkas and whiskey's The young lad behind the bar had a good knowledge of what spirits went well with which combinations of mixers. Very pricey though, but definently worth a visit as a treat.

If you like gin you will love Gin Alley. Excellent service and knowledge.

We hired the bar for a private function and couldn't have asked for anything more. The venue was perfect, the bar staff were great and the terms that they hired the bar for were much more reasonable than anywhere else I could find. I'd definitely recommend Gin Alley for private events!

I love Gin Alley, we’ve visited on a number of occasions and always have a great time. The staff are always friendly and professional. You can book on line and reserve a table for one or two hours. It’s lovely to have an individual bar...

Really like the place and staff they have a brilliant large menu of gins, I didn't like that the menus are priced wrong, I bought two drinks and got charged £19.50 instead of £14.50, the price isn't the issue because we chose the drink for what they were, its moraly wrong and when I asked why I was just told there's been a price increase they are waiting for new menu's and that's it!

Small, unassuming specialist gin bar, but plenty of other drinks too. Book ahead for a 60/90 minute table slot. Plenty of time. A huge selection of gins and interesting gin based cocktails, reasonably priced.

I had my baby shower here last week, and it was absolutely amazing. The venue was perfect, and the staff are amazing and so helpful. A specially Lauren, who worked so hard on the day and nothing was to much trouble for her. Made my day so special, I will definitely have an event here again.

We booked Gin Alley for a private party for my partners 50th birthday in May . It was a perfect place to have a celebration. The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble . Danielle was always available for questions before the event . We love Gin alley , it is a classy bar with good drinks .

I had 2 parties throughout the day and they were so helpful between guests arriving and leaving. We had live music cake and amazing cocktails! Could not recommend this place enough.
