Was abit disappointed I had a special curry but it was tasteless and watery won’t be returning

The food from here is A1 I am very pickie about my food. There were mo complaints here. Recommended!

Excellent ribs and chicken satey skewers. Only thing that I wish they did was flavored chips. Like salt n chilly chips.

Food is lush, service is 12/10. Even delievers which is awesome. This is one place i will always recommend. 😊

A friendly family run take away which delivers on taste every time. Food is always piping hot, fresh and a welcome treat.

Arrived home to find we had been given the wrong order... Called and they said they would give us a free gift. It was the same gift they give EVERYONE. 30 minute round trip to eat tasteless slimy food. WILL NOT GO BACK.

Only given 2 starts for the nice prawn crackers, rice and fast delivery. The food was dry in my opinion, with the chilli beef having no sauce etc. Didn’t feel satisfied with how much you spend and what I received. I will not be ordering again.

Ordered lemon chicken and rice Really struggled to find the chicken amongst the batter, I feel that this establishment is not anywhere near as good as it once was, Regular customer over many years, Disappointed 😞

Best Chinese in town, always friendly, good food, always our go to!

I ordered on line. There was nowhere to say when you wanted the food, so it came at there convenience I.e. before I really wanted it. When it did arrive it was all undercooked so I had to throw most of it away. When I rung to complain there was no interest, no offer of compensation or a replacement meal. I'll use the other Chinese in the town next time. They can't be worse. Added in response: I concede that I could have put a time in the comments section, it didn’t occur to me that that is what it might be for as I have invariably in the past order ed,with other takeaways, by phone. I acknowledge that any retailer (and individual, for that matter) can get things wrong and it was in that light that I rang to complain. Had I have bought something else on the High Street and it was substandard I would expect to complain and that the retailer would have a policy for dealing with such things and that the staff would be trained in how to deal with them. It was clear that when I rang the person that I spoke to had had no such training and from the level of response/abuse that the owner has produced she/he has no policy other than to defame the character of their customer. Rather than wanting to take advantage of a small family run business, since moving to the town I have done my best to stop using online retailers in favour of local shops following the mantra “if you don’t use them you’ll loose them”.

Used this Chinese for the forest time this evening and I have no complaints. The food was hot and tasty. The noodles in the chow mein were perfect and the sweet and sour had lots of juicy pineapple which is a bonus for me. Easy to order online and friendly service when collecting I couldn't really ask for more . Thank you for the freebies too .

Ordered online which was very easy however wasnt overly impressed with the food, Singapore noodles had no spice to them and the special fried rice was watery. Also didn’t like the big chunks of meat just placed on top of the rice. Personal preference but wouldn’t order from here again if I was back in the area.

Perfectly decent Chinese takeaway. Nothing special but does the job if you're in the mood for some spring rolls or special fried rice.

Not really impressed to be honest the hong kong style sweet and sour chicken was lacking in sauce the chow mein was tasteless and covered in some gloopy sauce that didnt have a nice texture no taste if garlic or soy sauce wich i would have expected the curry i had the sauce was quite thick and the meat hadnt bern cut properly so was all stuck together really dissapointed to be honest as it was our first time trying it will wait a bit before trying again as i believe everyone deserves a second chance and could just be an of night although a couple of reviews have said about the lack of taste so maybe they need to look in to it as its a shame as tge portion sizes and price is good

Delivered to Shaftesbury on time. Food generally good and generous. Gave us a free Lemon Chicken for some mysterious but welcome reason! Maybe a £50+ spend? - we like to get a greater variety and freeze it for a second future meal. Chicken didn't seem to be reconstituted (a gripe of mine) but 'real' so they score there. Minor complaints were that the ginger and spring onion chicken had no spring onion and rather too much onion. Made it a gloopy, beige mass. Fresh ginger so that's good. Too much sugar overall in the meal but that's a general takeaway thing. Aromatic duck pancakes good. Pork chop suey nice. Crispy beef still crispy as we ask them not to pour the sauce. Singapore rice noodles fine. 5* recent health rating. My wife enjoyed it and she doesn't always relish takeaways.

Take away. Drive past our own Chinese takeaway down to Gillingham, just to have a Singapore chowmein, need I say more. Tried a few other dishes, lovely.

We were very disappointed by our meal which was presented as nicely as any other takeaway but unfortunately completely lacked any sort of flavour. The seaweed tasted like it was literally just sugar and even the 'spicy' dishes were flavourless and barely edible. The pork in both the char sui and another dish were overcooked and rubbery - the crispy aromatic duck was fine but a little overcooked. Everything was genuinely jusy very bland and even the chillies had no flavour at all... I wouldn't recommend to anyone and a lot of it went in the bin which is a shame and a waste.

Having recently moved here we were keen to treat ourselves this evening. We are so glad we did! It arrived earlier than expected a d still hot. Food was delicious and not overpriced. They even threw in free prawn crackers and pancake rolls! We would definitely recommend and buy from again! Thank you from Anthony too!

I rarely give reviews but we were so disgusted and disappointed with our inedible meal that I need to review this establishment. We popped in and ordered a takeaway after a long train journey. The wait time was around 15 minutes. When we got home we found the only acceptable dish was the fried rice (not the egg fried rice we ordered!). The chicken balls were mostly thick soggy dough, containing barely cooked chicken. The chow mein was extremely greasy and tasteless, the “spicy” pork Ba Wong had some nice crunchy onions but the red chillies were tasteless, the pork mostly visible lumps of fat and the sauce insipid and gloopy. 95% went in the bin. We will never return and cannot work out where the positive previous reviews came from. They only take cash - how do they get away with that? Oh and the floors were dirty so I wonder about the kitchen? My advice is to avoid this place it was abhorrent

The special fried rice was like plain rice with everything in. No taste very disappointed. Would I order again from here. No far better Chinese around.

Always says open so pit in a order then thay don't tune up then u phone and they say there not taking any orders

I Just moved to the area , I ordered at 6,30 and it didnt arrive till 9,05 , 2 1/2 hours is not acceptable specially when they said it will be at hour , the food was STONE cold and still had to pay full price , WILL NEVER ORDER FROM HERE AGAIN !!

Ordered about 3 weeks ago. Chicken Balls not cooked in the middle. Complained and bloke said would send replacements. Didn't. Ordered again today. Chicken Balls were raw in the middle. Rang and was offered full refund on order (£60) was given £10.60 which is less that the Chicken Balls cost in the first place (two orders) No where near good enough. Can't post photos. Will report to EHO in the morning

Just had the worst takeaway I've ever had from here. Spent £40 and it's mostly inedible, joke, why serve it!

Food is excellent not at all greasy, or oily like some restaurants, and delivered 10 mins early on a Saturday night. We had the set meal for 4 but for 5 people and there was leftovers for breakfast. Very tasty, will definitely be ordering again.

We had a good value tasty takeaway meal for 4 people for £45. Ordered online. Already for collection at requested time. Unlike everywhere else they only take cash!

On holiday from London and ordered a takeaway. Exceptional quality and amount of food, delivered hot and on time by a very friendly driver. This is better than most we have had in London!!!

Just had a delivery placed online via their website. Wrote in comments section what time I wanted delivery as no time slot option available. Food delivered within 10 minutes of requested time, hot, fresh and delicious. Will do this again 😀

Just ordered from here for the first time, smoked shredded chicken was just lumps of fried batter no chicken, the lamb was all gristle and the rice was ok but overall I wouldn’t recommend the customer service wasn’t the best either I ordered online with my fixed price then the driver charged me more at the door.

Been here multiple times over the period of so so many years and always really loved the food, tonight about half hour ago went in to buy a big meal for 4 (Meal c I think). Brought this lots of time and always very much loved it, anyway brought it home ( thought it looked a lot less than what normally is in there but didn’t stop to check as we’ve brought from here so many times and never had a problem) got home and had a completely different meal from what I ordered, very very disappointed as I eat nothing in what they had given us and nor does my niece who I have for dinner only my partner will eat any of it, so now having to cook anyway, so disappointed as we waited for over 20 mins inside and was so looking forward to it. It’s not like we could have returned all the food after we had taken the lids of the tubs to work out what horrible stuff they had given us and we live 15 mins outside of gillingham so it’s just more time and fuel to take it back and complain. Really don’t want to bring a business down but I can’t explain how annoyed we are considering we payed £43 when it only said £38 on the menu and we didn’t even get the right order and only revived half the food he payed for if that. Can’t believe this has happened.

It appears to have lost something over the years while nothing is wrong with the food or the service and is still the best in the area we have moved away and we have a better selection in Bristol

Good. Hot. But more English tasting than Chinese. Needs more spice!

+ side: Huge menu, pleasant staff, decent size portions, well priced & didn’t take too long. - side: the only thing wrong/ spoilt the dinner was the portion of chips were refries and not todays either!!! A tad on the leathery hide side. So I would advise to ask for fresh chips if ordering.

Friendly bloke, moved here and have struggling to find someone who does a decent beef curry with thick/fluffy egg fried rice. (after trying all Chinese in Wincanton, Bruton and Shepton). I have found my local Chinese!!! A***** reasonably priced!!!

I regularly order take aways, which always arrive on time. Generous portions and very tasty.

Orders do not arrive on time very poor customer service and I will not order again last time ordered at 6:30 pm delivered at 9pm promised 8pm at latest
