Order take way for my son’s birthday and boy was it good. We ordered way to much As we were not sure on portions- Chilli cheese fries were magnificent. We ordered 5 burgers but didn’t need the 4 fries we got maybe just 2 next time 😂

Takeaway delivered courteously and on time. We ordered Calafonia Love with Piggy Fries and it was absolutely delicious. Full of flavours and a good size. Would definitely recommend and when open for eating in worth going.

During these Covid-19 disrupted times, my wife and I found that Get Chucked in Urmston was open for delivery only sales. Thank goodness. I had the Born Sloppy and my wife had the Atomica. Two tasty fired burgers in each made for a filling meal and the Out'N'Out fries are something to tickle those taste buds. The flavours in each were really good and every mouthful presented and different flavour combination that fit not disappoint. There was a long wait time for delivery, but I am not complaining as the food was excellent and these are strange times when we all have to support and pull together. Will be ordering again from here and can't wait.

Ordered for delivery off the suggestion of my brother (who loves you guys) and all I can say is wow. The food is amazing. The bacon bacon fries are something else and the portion size is very good. The burger has so many flavours to it and I couldn't get enough of it. The staff were friendly and the delivery driver apologised for the wait, but I wasnt complaining. Thank you so much. I cant wait to visit you 😀

An extremely enjoyable burger experience! We tried the Luther, the Atomica and the Seoul Seeker. All were absolutely delicious.Staff were really friendly and helpful. We will definitely return.

Very good location in an entire corner which allows you to enjoy the life of the city, a relaxed décor with a nice design of the bar,the background music mixes with the place, is clean and spacious which you adapt quickly to the atmosphere and vibe of the place. The menu for my taste with lack of creativity, but very well executed, I ordered the Seoul Seeker We didn't even get to the airport to get anything like Seoul in its flavors. The only thing I liked was the fried chicken which was perfect, double crispy and hot dish, all I found Korean was the red pepper paste "Gochujang" spread on top of the chicken, the combination of cabbage spring onions lettuce and thai chillies does not give it any grace whatsoever, but gives what the cheff looks for the green color nothing more, a coleslaw with the ingredients described above mixed with kimchi would have been more interesting end The professional and friendly service I recommend it 👍👍

I went the first Saturday in August. I dont like putting bad reviews on trip advisor. I've seen on line this place is shutting. Lots of people left when they tried to order as most stuff on the menu was only available at night. They should have had s day time menu. We had ordered we waited and waited and waited for our food. When it came it was nice.

The menu changes every so often so its worth it going back. We ordered 2 chicken burgers one full size and one for kids, both were huge. I made the mistake of going for a vegan burger with jackfruit. It was first taste of jackfruit and I didnt like which is no reflection on the restaurant. Portions are a good size and you know it's freshly prepared. The loaded fries are amazing, who would have thought crispy kale and chilli would make a great topping?

When you see bacon bits on your dirty fries you expect proper bacon, not bacon crisps. Out of order that.

This was my 1st visit but definitely won't be my last. All staff were lovely, but especially Emily who looked after us very well and couldnt have dont more for our table. We arrived slightly early but were seated on time and All the food was amazing. Freshly cooked delicious burgers, amazing side dishes. We were a party of 5 and every plate was emptied. Seriously cant wait to go back.....tomorrow please!!!!

The original menu when get chucked opened was a lot better than the ever changing current menu, I have never been in when they haven’t told us that several of the things on the menu are not available. One time we went in and over an hour after ordering the waitress approached us to tell us our order hadn’t been put through and the food would be at least another hour, at this point it was 9:30pm, so we went home without food. Loaded chips are lovely & great selection of drinks, burgers are nice..

Have been coming to Get Chucked since it first opened back in it's first location. First time I went I said it was the best burger I've ever had but unfortunately it has since gone down hill. This was probably my 5th or 6th time visiting and none of it was great really. Busy bank holiday with only one member of staff who was struggling (not her fault), long wait for orders to be taken, very long wait (with a toddler) for the food to arrive, another long wait for the table to be cleared and then another long wait to pay. I asked for my burger to be well done (don't like pink meat, personal preference) and they said this couldn't be done because they have to cook all the burgers at the same time... never heard that one before but okay. Chips were nice, husband enjoyed his burger but it had things missing from it that were meant to be on it and the bread on my burger was so burnt it just tasted like burnt cheese on toast. Wasn't worth saying anything because we didn't really have the time to wait for it to be resolved after already being there over an hour. Like I said, always loved and supported this place but it's really gone downhill and I can't see us returning.

Visited the place darter a recommendation from Manchester radio show. Booked on line no issues. Booked for 7pm but service was under real pressure. Staff were trying to keep it together but with short staffing some basic issues like napkins and time for starter and mains was long. Team were very apologetic and kept us informed of the delay. The wings and wedge salads were great, the house fries and fries with porkie bits really nice. All three of us had burgers the basic burger and salad. Picked and ketchup was the best the burger I have ever had. Real beef burgers smokey and moist. My son had the double or nothing it’s a proper burger , not for the small appetite. Everyone enjoyed the meal. Wine was fine and they have Brooklyn beer. Real bonus . Outstanding value for money, will definitely go again.

Just been in and we’re asked what drinks we wanted to be informed that “there is no drinks menu, just tell us what you want and we will see if we have it”. I asked if they had diet lemonade - they did not. The menu online is not what they have in store at all. In fact they don’t offer any smokehouse options at all. Just tacos and burgers. Needless to say as we were looking for a smokehouse - so we left.

I ordered a takeaway, in this order I asked for a checked burger plain, when I got home I found the burger to have all the toppings on! I rang up and their response was to either wipe it off and eat it or go back and they can wipe it off! What kind of customer service is that?! To make it even worse I then ordered some buffalo wings and well, the picture just speaks for itself. Absolutely awful and will not be visiting again any time soon unless this improves!

Very disappointing second visit to this place. Not informed about a wait until 10 minutes in, when it stood at 15 more minutes. 1 hour from ordering we got burnt burgers. A salad which was not as described or ordered and a very disappointing time. We left and will not be going back.

Visited here today for the first time and will be returning, the food was amazing and the waiter/waitress were both really helpful. Was expecting a wait inbetween food going of other reviews but found the time in between courses just right.

We waited 1.5hrs for the food we ordered. There were loads of front of house staff rushing about but we couldn’t quite work out what they were doing as food wasn’t arriving and there were hardly any drinks available. There was no drinks menu “you just tell us what you want and we tell you if we’ve got it”. They mainly didn’t have it. Only one of us got the same drink throughout our 2 hour stay; everyone else had to change their drink with every order, as they’d run out of what they had last time.The place was run as though by people who had never been into a restaurant, before, never mind run one. The saving grace was that the food, when it finally arrived, was good. Not good enough to make us want to return though! We did complain (a lot) and they gave us our drinks for free, which was very generous, but no way to run a business.

Booked a table for 5.30 on a Saturday, no members of staff around so went to the bar where we ended up being seated by the chef. Were given menus but no drinks menus when the waitress came to take the drinks order I asked if they sold a particular type of wine, she went to check and came back with "no". No advice on what wine they did sell, again no menu so had to order based on the beer pumps I could see from the table. Sat with our menus for quite a while before our order was taken, only after I had to get someone’s attention to ask them to take it. A table next to us that came in ten minutes after us were served before us. Sat there for 45 minutes and still no food. Again, table that came in after us got their food, no sign of ours. Eventually asked after nearly an hour where the food was (table next to us had finished at this point) to be told sorry I’ll go check. Food then arrived, one burger with some loaded fries, a second burger but no fries or chicken strips that were ordered. Partner started eating loaded fries but they didn’t look like what we had ordered. Again had to get waitress's attention to ask if they were "fire fries" to be told "oh I don’t know, I think so". Surely if you work there you know what your menu items look like? They were taken away, eventually returned with a completely different topping, along with second fries and chicken. No cutlery or napkins brought over, no offer for sauces, salt etc. Burger very overdone, cheese was so congealed looked like it has been sat on the hotplate for ages. Regular fries had no seasoning. Asked if they served bottled beer rather than drought, was told no. Went to the bar to look at the other beers on offer (STILL no drinks menu to be seen), spotted bottles of Corona beer in the fridge. Asked for one to be told "we don’t know why that's in there so we can’t sell it to you". At this point the whole experience was becoming a joke so asked for the bill. Asked how the food was, I responded it was fine as we had waited so long we were just desperate for something to eat. No apology for the delay or any interest in what may have been wrong with the food.

This place has some of Manchester's best burgers! Visited on a Friday night at 7pm and were able to get a table fairly easy, it was busy but not overly so. We were well looked after by Melissa who was very attentive and helped us pick out a few items off the menu. We both had a great IPA from Northern Monk to startWe ordered a fairly large amount of food as we were hungry and opted for the Piggy smalls burger (double patty, pulled pork, onion ring & bacon) which was incredible, the baby back ribs in a great BBQ sauce, loaded fries (onions, cheese and bacon), Korean chicken wings and slaw. The portions were huge and we did well to finish it! Really enjoyed all the items on the menu. I would say the Korean wings were more hot sauce than the usual sticky Korean style wings we have had in other places but were still enjoyable. The pulled pork burger was the star of the show though and I'm looking forward to trying their El Chapo burger next time (chorizo, peppers etc) It was our first visit to Get Chucked but it certainly won't be our last..

Drool: Its been 5 days since I was last here and I'm still wiping it up. I really can't put into words just how spectacular the food at Get Chucked is. If you like burgers, loaded fries and / or wings then you have GOT TO try this place on for size. The wonderfully juicy, home made patties come, cooked to perfection, with a cracking variety of tangy, spicy, crunchy and extra-meaty acompanyments. Sweet, even, if you fancy a doughnut burger... Get Chucked represents the beast that the Manchester burger circuit has to offer, at great prices, and without the hassle of navigating the city ctr. Do it. Special thanks to Elissa for making us feel so welcome on the last outing!

We were told to come and eat here. Oh my golly gosh. What can I say. Well first our waitress Elissa was superb and soooooo friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. We all ate different options and all superb. The beer was to die for. Strong and tasty. I had the capernocity to choose a fruity pale ale wow it was delicious. My wife when she finished colouring in was also amazed at the quality and great service. Will we go back?Of course we will. Our friends all agreed it is a total go to for food place. Keep up the good work guys

There isn’t much too say about this place except to stop reading this review and go. The staff are really behind the food which is great to hear and the food lives up to the hype. They have solidly delivered the BEST doughnut burger (called the Luther 2.0) I have ever had (sorry reds true bbq but you’ve been topped) and the piggie fries are just ridiculous - make sure you go if you love burgers!

Have been meaning to review this place for a while - visited twice in April, once with a group of mates and once with my partner along with our dog.Both times we could not fault the service - very attentive and really understanding with our canine friend which is always a bonus.Food was delicious and served up in good time - the idea to open up late on a Friday night is excellent and gladly took advantage of it. Again, great service which is a credit to the staff.

I've been here a few times now, and do think the beef burgers are better than the chicken, but I do prefer breast to thigh, but if you like chicken thigh, you will love the chicken burgers. We had the piggy fries which were amazing VERY bacony (is that a word?! It is now!). My white wine has something floating in it but the waitress got straight on it no questions asked and replaced it. The kids meals are great value also. Not sure what everyone issues is with the toilets they have always been fine when I have been and there seems to be a good upstairs space for functions also (not sure if they do this thought) All in all this is a great 'little chicken place' as my 4 year old calls it, but the beef burgers shouldn't be underestimated!! We will return as always! :-)

Been a few times here, and every time has been amazing! The food is to die for! Honestly best burgers I have ever tasted! Never been disappointed! On the odd occasion there was a couple of things on the menu that was unavailable as they had ran out, but that’s what you get for fantastic food! It will go quick! It’s not the end of the world people! Plus there’s all sorts on their menu to choose from! There fries are amazing too! My fav was the one where they crushed crispy bacon frazzle crisps on top! Amazing! Staff are brilliant too! All friendly and really down to earth! Can’t wait to go back again! Great decor and a great place to go! It’s deffo a must! Keep up the great work guys!!

Just wow. Ribs to die for, generous portion and comes with three sides all for £8.50! Bargain! Luther 2.0 burger is simply heaven. Bit of a shame it's not an option to switch any bun for donuts - would be epic to try it with a chicken burger. Oh and the mac and cheese and chicken strippers... Glad we finally managed to bag a table after 3 weeks of trying. Book ahead people, theyre busy for a reason!

Checked this place out last night after been eyeing it up for ages... and with it opening up at The Hatch recently, this made me want to go so badly! I am SO glad I did. It’s super rustic inside. I love it - it’s quirky! The staff are amazeballs. Couldn’t do enough for you. Explained it all and just proper looked after us! The food... wow. Just WOW. They didn’t have a couple of things on the menu (no pulled pork which was a massive CRY) but hey, this happens and we just ordered other things! Went for the basic Chuck and cheese burger and it was gorgeous. Just how I like my burger. Juicy and plenty of pickles and sauce. Just so good! The piggie fries (I asked for no ketchup. I like ketchup but just didn’t fancy it) were amazing too. The boneless wings again, epic. Can’t fault this place. It was a little slow to get the food but you can’t rush good food. Will most definitely be coming back. You guys rock!!!

Over half of menu unavailable at early doors on a Saturday night. Tried to order the super hot chicken wings and was told they have never been available- so why are they on the menu? Beer flat as hell, everything screams cost saving but is being sold at over inflated price.

I don’t like to review a restaurant and only speak badly of it, but in this case, it's going to be hard not to rant about how bad this place truly is. To save us all some time I will just give you some highlights. The staff - are awful, they don’t seem to have much idea what's going on. As for the manager, he looked like he just fell out of bed and came to work in the clothes he slept in.Drinks - Most of the beer wasn’t available, My wife ordered a glass of white wine and was told they had run out. It turns out they just didn't want to open a new bottle. Food - A lot of the food was unavailable. Don’t order the chicken wings, they will just make you sad. I have no idea where they managed to find chicken wings so comically small. The Chicken burgers are made from the thigh, not the chicken breast ( to save money ) They just fall apart and turn into one greasy mess. As for the burgers, most of my friends had them and said that they are O.K.Toilets - I can only speak for the men's bathrooms. But don’t go, they are awful. Random - As it’s a place you mostly eat with your hands we asked for napkins and got told that they hadn’t got any left. Lucky one of our friends noticed a box full of them in a corner that the staff had forgotten about. If you are thinking about going to eat out in Urmston you have many options and I'd say they are all better then this place.

Been here 3 times now. At no time did they ever have ribs! Never busy when we went either so don’t know how they’ve run out. Burgers just aren’t as nice as alternative places. Chicken however is good. Service is ok to poor. Last night we were never given cutlery. I had to get up and grab them myself as they were chatting in the corner. I’m sure they were discussing work matters and not dossing but still disappointing. I hope they do improve as it can become a great place for Urmston, that’s why we’ve been back. However 3rd time unlucky for us, not sure we’ll go back again anytime soon.

Ok, I live local and really wanted this place to be good. It always seems busy and reviews looked promising, so was looking forward to eating here. Turned up at 7pm on Saturday without a reservation. Couldn't get a table till 8.30pm, but saw that as a good sign. Came back at 8.30pm and once seated we were given the menu. We were told at the point what wasn't available, but unfortunately this was half of the menu. There was one thing available from the BBQ side of the menu, half the wings and strips weren't an option, no mac and cheese and some of the burgers weren't available either.I'd forgive this if they had been opening a couple of weeks and had been swamped by demand, but they have been open a while now and it was 8.30pm on a Saturday night. It wasn't a sunny day were they could have been rammed during day service, so it's either really bad ordering or choosing only to do part of the menu and telling customers they are run out.We ordered a couple of pint of house larger after being told that they had run out of a couple drink options aswell.I ordered the get clucked burger which was buttermilk chicken things and once piggie fries topped with pulled pork. My girl friend order the equivalent of a cheese burger (can't remember the name on the menu) and buffalo wings. The drinks and the food came out responsably quick and gentleman waiter was very happy to help as much as he could, but seemed knew to the job because he didn't really know much about the menu. First thing to note is the pints we had arrived with a small head which evaporated pretty quickly.When the food arrived everything looked good. at this point i asked to try some of the 6 million scoville rating sauce they had on their wings menu. I got told they don't do this anymore, but they can give me Siracha. Then got told they had run out of Siracha but could give me buffalo sauce. The pulled pork on my piggie fries was well flavoured. The chips below however were soggy and just doused with ketchup and mayo to the point where you couldn't taste anything else. The first bite into my chicken burger was meant with a good crunch of batter from the top of the buttermilk chicken. I then expected to hit the extra moist chicken thing after it being marinated in buttermilk. I didnt, I got the crunch of the batter from the bottom side of the burger. I tried another bite thinking I had just caught the edge, but same again. I opened up the burger to check there was chicken in it and found a thin dry layer chicken thigh. It's pretty difficult to dry out chicken thighs when cooking them. This would be even more difficult when marinating in buttermilk. The only thing i can think they have done which would be really cheeky is cut down the thighs into thinner portions to go further. My girlfriends cheesebudger was ok, but her wings came out luke warm and look and tasted that they had just been tossed in Franks.By this time both of our pints were flat. I looked around to the other tables and they were flat on everybody elses table to. I drew the attention of the waiter to tell them and suggested they check the gas. She said they did look flat and she will go and have a word. She came back to me after speaking with management and told me the barrel had been changed about 10 mins ago, but ours did look flat so she will replace them.I told her changing the barrel won't matter if there is a problem with the gas. The beer is ok, it's just flat. I again pointed to every beer and every other table. She promised to check the gas and replace our beers with fresh ones once checked.no fresh beers came for a while and given the food was pretty bad we just asked for the bill and for them to take the beers off.The thing that annoyed me was the management still offered the explanation that the barrel had been changed, then came back with another defense: "thats the type of beer it is" and expected their waiters to peddle that in a room full of flat beer.When i pointed out the problem, they did nothing to address the flat beer on anybody else's table, although just before we left I did see somebody else sending back their drinks for the same reason. Good points, waiters were friendly, Mrs burger was ok and they gave us a little fruitsalad sweet with the billBad points - everything else. DONT BELIVE THE HYPE!!! or be the first there and see if they have still ran out of things

To start with the restaurant was cold. We were seated nicely but then the problems began. The staff were distracted and unhelpful. They also had no alternatives for people with allergies even though their website states that they take allergies seriously - clearly they don't. Wouldn't go back if you paid me!

It’s okay, however in my opinion chicken burgers should be breasts and not a bunch of thighs pushed together. Yes I understand the reasoning but personal choice.

Had a decent burger here while having a few drinks in Urmston. Service as excellent and the food fauktless - really god brurgers, fries and some chicken strip sides. The mneu is a bit different with some unusual burgers - all the food we tried was excellent.

This is one of our favourite places to eat locally. It’s always busy with a mix of people, my three children (8,7&4) love it as do my partner and I. It’s one of the few places where I can guarantee empty plates all round. Lovely staff, great atmosphere and last time I was there I had the loveliest cocktail too!!

I really like the food here! I would of gave it 5* but every time I’ve been here, they never have what I want in stock. They never have any of the smoked meats, mac and cheese and rarely the buffalo sauce for wings! I end up having to have to order something else every time but keep gong back hoping that one day they’ll have what I want!The food is really nice anyhow and the staff are friendly!Visiting this weekend so crossing my fingers for the smoked meats and some mac and cheese

Great choice of burgers and sides. I loved the options and tailored my burger to my preference. Other people went for the fries with toppings which were very good. All were very impressed-great food and service and all food came out correct.

We came here for a family tea to celebrate my nephews 18th WHY HAD WE NOT BEEN SOONER?The burgers are some of the best I’d eaten easily matched those we had on our travels in the US. The loaded fries were spot on! This place is just so relaxing, down to earth good food, decent staff definitely an independent eatery that needs supporting, I mean why wouldn’t you when the food is Bob on? Not only that they make a mean gin!!Will almost certainly be back, that’s for sure!!

tried this restaurant for the first time and loved it - great decor - great staff and the food was excellent. Best burger I've had in 26 years - last being in Key West. Side dishes were excellent as well.

Have been a number of times and was always fantastic, with great atmosphere, friendly staff and most importantly amazing food. Sadly when we visited in early December the same can not be said.We went at a time when there were only a few other guests in but it still took ages for anyone to even bring us menus and offer drinks. The music was so loud that we were struggling to talk. we asked if this could be turned down which it was, but was later turned up again. I was disappointed to find that the halloumi burger was no longer on the menu as this was literally the best halloumi burger I had ever had! I chose to have their veggie burger instead. Our food took ages to arrive and when it did the veggie burger was cold, soggy and tasteless so I ended up just eating the fries, which were very good. The others all said their food was good if a little cold. Sadly we won’t be going back. Such a shame as was great when it started.

Visited tonight with my wife. A number of the menu items weren’t available due to their smoker being broken and not having any of their 002 hot sauce. When we got our burgers, fries and sides, they were luke warm, almost cold - very disappointing. The attentivewaiting staff apologised took them back and knocked 10% off our bill. Such a shame. This restaurant is great. We moved to Urmston a month ago and have eaten here 3 times already. The burgers are super tasty - better than any of the burger restaurants in the city centre. It's also a very good price for the quality. The staff are always very friendly and attentive. Would 100% recommend. We took my mother in law who is gluten free and the staff accommodated and used the gluten free buns we brought. Also visited with a group of 10 on new years eve and the service was still great in a big group.

We had never been before but our friend who was with us had and suggested we try it. I have an allergy to dairy which makes eating out difficult. The staff were so friendly and helpful as was the chef, he did let me know that all the buns contained butter. It is a burger bar but not the greasy ones! They are all made fresh and are delicious, just melt in your mouth! I just had the burger with bacon and a tasty 'wedge salad'all washed down with a glass of wine. Will definitely call in again. I actually not to have bread so it suited me just fine.

Went there on Sunday with the kids...was a little worried as it was quiet at the time but wasn't disappointed...the burgers were amazing...the kids also loved there burgers and fries. Really fresh and piping hot...will defiantly be going back.

Have wandered past here several times and liked the look of the place, so thought we'd give it a try.Friday night, 6.30 ish, didn't book, but plenty of space with a few people in. Friendly greetings, very relaxed atmosphere.Pretty simple menu with several burger choices, side, fries, ribs etc. Went for a chicken/beef patty combo.....it was bloody lovely and the fries smothered with caramelized onions and sauce were amazing too. Nice place for a gathering also as there was a spacious upstairs room for a good number of people.In a nutshell, simple food, great taste, nice surroundings, good for kids....give it a go, we'll definitely visit again.

Great food and reasonably priced, visited through the week so nice and quiet too!Only downside was there was no buffalo sauce for our wings which we weren’t made aware of until they were ready to bring out the food and we were sat next to the station the staff are based at and they were stood chatting to each other right next to our table which was frustrating whilst me and my partner were trying to have a conversation and we felt like we didn’t have much privacy! Would visit again but would want to be made aware if something isn’t available before hand

So this is the first time I've been to Get Chucked in the new location. Last time I went they were fully booked. So having read about the new lunchtime menu and being in the area, I thought we could check it out. We were NOT disappointed. Really relaxed atmosphere. Good service. The lunchtime menu is an absolute BARGAIN. So for £5 for burger and chips we were well impressed. Piping hot individually prepared food, which was so tasty. You could tell it was quality. We will definitely be back and will make this our 'go to' lunch place - in fact I'm really looking forward to going back again :-)

Excellent food - great quality burgers, Kung foo fries were tasty but beware quite hot and good beer on tap too. Thoroughly recommend.

Food here is fantastic. Hope they keep these standards up indefinitely. The staff are also polite and friendly. Yes it’s a bit more expensive than a pub or takeaway burger but you’re getting quality for that money and it’s worth it. Nice beer choices too.

I have known about get chucked since it first opened on Gloucester Road in Urmston and had never ventured in.Food delicious- can’t fault anythingThe venue is very plain but doesn’t need any gimmicks etcWill definitely be returning x- I could only suggest more extensive wine choice please x

The food was amazing the burgers look stunning and the i also had the bbq tray pulled pork, pork ribs, jalepenos sausage, smoked chicken, fresh tasting slaw and smoke corn what more do you want. I also noticed the front of house staff dimming in the lights as it got later which added a great ambiance and warm feeling to the please I will be recommending to friends and be back very soon!!

Loved it, highly recommend for families with young kids. Also really good for late night cocktails, with friendly staff and a fab new menu.

Best food I’ve eaten in a long long time! Maybe the best burger I’ve EVER eaten! The Luther 2.0 burger is a must, delicious juicy burger patties smothered in cheese, topped with two fresh krispy Kreme original glazed donuts!! The out n out fries are to die for! Great friendly service and top quality food! Cannot wait to come back!

Just had great burger and wicked chicken wings that are not for faint hearted. Hot hot hot and tasted great . Other options available lol. Highly recommended great pleasant staff.

Was recommended to me by a friend who lives local to the restaurant. The burgers are nice, I wouldn’t say they’re the best burgers I’ve had. But they’re certainly not the worst. Urmston is a nice place to visit and the restaurant is in a good location, so it’s definitely worth visiting.

When he with my partner for the first time last night and was really impressed with food Was greeted by a young friendly girl who ran us though the menu and advised us what was on and off the menu u that night !! Went today with children and friends for lunch x well worth a visit. Tasty food and reasonable prices. Kids meals are well worth it and staff are friendly. Will definitely going back

Me and my partner visited here a few nights ago for the first time and we were really impressed! The staff are really friendly and helpful. The food is brill, massive portion sizes, loads of options and tastes amazing! We both had the burgers and loaded fries, the portion sizes were massive and couldn’t fault it at all! We also had a couple of cocktails which were lovely! The atmosphere here is really relaxed, good music and a pleasant place to be to just enjoy your food! Will definitely be back!

My wife and I revisited Get Chucked last month after being invited back in by the owners (see previous review of Get Chucked) Only just now been able to write up a follow up.It'd be easy for me to write up a detailed glowing review, because everything really was spot on this time round- from the service to the food, although to be fair the food was always good, but this time we got what we ordered and the service was great on top of that. This review really is to highlight the fact the owner took the time to follow up my previous review, in possibly the most genuine way I've come across with this sort of thing, shows how important this place is to them and I have a lot of respect for that. This is a local business, unique in Urmston and we should embrace it.Get Chucked is definitely on our list of places to visit in Urmston when the wife and I get a rare night out, and we'll be back soon to try some of the other things on the menu! Thanks to the team there.

Have waited far too long to go, for no reason than we just never got round to it.Was it worth the wait and did it live up to its reviews? YES absolutely.The new menu is great, plenty of variety and the fries are just out of this world, the whole meal was really tasty.Will definitely be going back and will try the new later opening at the weekend - tapas sounds good.A young team who are obviously working hard to make a good go of things and it certainly seems be paying off.A great new location too, large and bright. An open kitchen would have been nice, but they need the wall space for the bar optics, a shame.

We first visited Get Chucked when they were in their old pop-up location and the 'Piggy Fries had us hooked for life! The food is delicious and great quality- and as the menu is updated regularly there is always new things to try.Every time we visit ( we have had to stop counting!) they have maintained this standard consistently and the service has developed as the experience of the staff grows and so they are friendly, welcoming and attentive. We tend to visit either at lunch times or earlier in the evening around 6ish as to avoid the rush that comes around 7ish and so always have a choice of places to sit and nothing we want is sold out (it is only a small restaurant after all!)Definitely worth a visit to anyone who likes a good quality burger with a twist and knows good food when they eat it!!!

I would give it no stars if I could. We visited on a Saturday night with friends and it was just horrendous. We arrived at 7.30pm and the table wasn't ready (they were quite busy and we were happy to wait) as there was 7 of us. We were advised to wait at the bar, although there was no-one serving at the bar and it was covered in trays so there was not really anywhere to sit - the waitress even pointed out it was 'a bit of a mess'. We were seated by 7.40 and most of our party arrived, we waited until about 7.50 before anyone came to take our drinks order and we had to ask for menus.. by 8.15 our drinks had finally arrived and someone took our food order - we weren't in a huge hurry so we were not too unhappy by this point.However from this point on we were basically ignored, no-one came to inform us that our food would be an hour away, or came to check if we needed any more drinks. By 9pm we still hadn't received any food, one of the waitresses came over to say that it would be about 10/15 more minutes - so an hour from our ordering time. By 9.15 some of our food arrived, however we were missing 2 portions of chips, a Mac and cheese and some chicken wings and chicken strips... And there was an extra burger and chips that no-one had ordered that kept being brought out. The waitress apologised for our situation, and informed us we would not pay for a round of drinks and any of the food that was late - fair enough. We were quite happy with this arrangement, however when the bill arrived all of this food was still on there - the waitress did however change our bill accordingly when we discussed it with her. The waitresses generally were lovely and tried to sort out our bill - although I do wonder how it managed to get so bad, luckily it didn't ruin our evening, but I am not sure I will be returning regardless. All in all we paid much less than expecting it was just a shame it took so long. To be fair when the food did arrive it was delicious but the service really let it down.

Having visited this restaurant for the first time we were left disappointed. We had read reviews and so decided to give it a go! We had reserved a table so weren’t too happy when the table we were given wasn’t that clean-it was sticky when we leant on it, there was no cutlery on the table. We ordered drinks and food, drinks arrived after a short wait, it was 30 minutes until the food arrived-that’s not an issue as the food is cooked to order, we then had to wait for cutlery! I was disappointed with the chips as they were very like McDonalds fries with cheese and caramelised onions- I was expecting home made chips! The burgers were over cooked on the outside but not properly cooked inside, overall the food was very greasy. The toilets are upstairs in this establishment, not a problem for me but not sure how someone with a disability would cope-perhaps there are other facilities available? The stairwell left a lot to be desired, it was poorly lit, (perhaps purposely); the stairs were in a disgusting state, the toilets were very clean though! Well.... after this visit I don’t think we’ll be returning..sorry ‘Get Chucked’, you didn’t live up to expectations.

This is one of the only places we go time and time again, whether we eat in or take out the food is consistent and reasonably priced too. Would definitely recommend!

Tried this restaurant having tried their food at a local pop up restaurant last year. The get clucked buttermilk chicken burger is to die for, nice crispy light batter, succulent chicken and lovely sauces and salad. My only regret was ordering the loaded chilli n cheese fries...I was stuffed after the burger and couldn't manage all the loaded fries (These were a main meal in their own right)Will definitely be back again soon and I think I have my sister hooked on the get clucked burger too. Great price, speedy service and excellent food

My wife and I visited on a Thursday evening, as a walk in not prebooked. The place was populated, but there was a table available. The lady who greeted us was very pleasant as we sat down.Drinks order was done promptly and the choice of beer was good. After reviewing the menus we decided what we wanted... but unfortunately, this is when the trouble started! After we ordered, a few minutes later the lady returned and advised that they had 'run out of gas' and that basically half of the menu was now not available, writing off all burgers! So we had to change our order.To be fair she appeared genuinely mortified at this news, and she was squirming in embarrassment as she told us. We did empathise initially, of course this is not under her control as far as we believe, and lets face it, if you can't cook your core menu its like KFC running out of chicken, or Starbucks running out of coffee; Its a pretty poor state for any restaurant to get into, but these things do happen, so we were cool and we accepted it.Also the lady was good about it, she offered a free round of drinks, but these didn't materialise. We smiled and said fine, we'd find something else on the menu - which of course we did. We asked if the fries we ordered were still available and they were- great. Not a big deal, we've never been before, so we were willing to try anything on the menu.However, the food came, now delivered by a different girl, and it turned out the fries we ordered were actually not available, and we got something else - a large fries that the (new) lady said would be 'knocked off the bill' - Okay, fair enough, yet another issue but being dealt with. There are obviously some logistical problems going on behind the scenes, but we're getting our food and it all looked good to eat.However, at this point you do have to consider; We'd entered this establishment, ordered, yet we had literally had nothing on the table we initially ordered other than our drinks! I mean, come on, really? That is poor. Our experience had quickly become a bit of a joke - Thankfully still laughing at this stage.Benefit of the doubt, this may be all circumstantial, unfortunate on Get Chucked's part of course, possibly and we were just unlucky, perhaps... ?The food we had was good to be fair, and there isn't anywhere else in Urmston like it currently. Other than everything was not what we ordered, it was ok. When we'd finished the bill came. Next problem...The (new) girl told us she'd decided rather than knock off the large fries from the bill, she had knocked 20% off the bill... okay, not particularly committed to what you promised there, Get Chucked... and she also failed to mention this 20% was only off food, not drinks.... so that earlier free round was quickly forgotten about too. Disappointing!The bill was not out of this world expensive, and maybe I should have challenged it at the time, but I wasn't about to argue £27 / £24 whatever... I expected to pay more anyway... but the discount that came, for all the problems we'd faced, for all the laughable problems, worked out at 3.51. It was just a bit lame, a slap, I mean really? Again? For the sake of a round of drinks, or a fiver, Get Chucked really dealt with what I'd describe as a pretty major disorganised evening with a discount that practically works out as a tip? Geez guys.It seems to me like Get Chucked make bad decisions in the face issues, while intentions may be good, execution of them... not so good. Where is the front of house, customer care, making sure crisis's (that will happen of course) are being dealt with, and customers are walking away happy regardless of what occurred?The one round of drinks we had, on the house, and this review would have been so much better. Genuinely, shame on your part.All in all I'd say yeah, check out Get Chucked, see how your experience goes, but based on what we experienced... we won't rush back. I wouldn't write the whole place off, but at this time we think of the place as a bit of a joke, like its being run by someone with little or no experience of how to really run a restaurant from the stock take to the front of house, there are clear issues here that unfortunately are showing to their customers. You ran out of gas for God's sake.Worth mentioning in the end, we left no tip and walked away laughing at how the place is run, rather than walking away talking about your food. Is that what you want?

The best food in Urmston!Delicious, exquisite and thoroughly enjoyable from beginning to end. Eating at get chucked is like taking a seat in paradise and feasting on enlightenment. The service was flawless! Two charming waitresses, Holly and Megan, took exceptional care of my friends and I. They were both polite, friendly and always on hand for the entirety of our visit.The food was utterly sensational. I wish I could have given this place 6 stars.A fantasy brought to life

My wife and I visited Get Chucked for the first time since the business moved to a more prime location within Urmston. My wife had a plain burger but even that was massive with chips a proper portion her burger was amazing. My burger was a chilli and nacho infused one with sweet potato fries. We had a bottle of Prosecco that was reasonably priced. A great restaurant that is casual but also a night out venue. Staff lovely and very helpful

We have tried a couple of times to eat at Get Chucked but have always been turned away for not booking in advance, this time we were prepared. We booked in for 4.45pm and were squeezed in between two other tables in the window, there was not much space and the kids almost immediately began acting like caged animals. I asked to move but unfortunately (despite there being several empty tables) we were declined because of another reservation. We were left in our confined space for about 20 minutes until I noticed that another table had emptied, as we hadn’t ordered anything, I asked to move and I think this time, the member of staff finally sensed our desperation and granted our request. She also realised we had no drinks and apologised, it was a shame she didn’t actually stay and take an order for a drink at this point.The menu is not for the health conscious, but bbq and burger lovers will be in heaven. We were not looking for a healthy option and the whole family found something they liked.Overall, We spent a lot of time waiting, I couldn’t understand as there was never more then 50% of tables filled. It was unclear who was in charge in the front, and it was hard work catching anyone’s attention. There were so many missed opportunities to provide good service; explanation of menu, offering colouring to children, accommodating seating requests, checking on tables regularly, engage with customer beyond ‘what do you want’... to name a few.With some investment in the front of house staff, this could be a great addition to Urmston’s growing foodie scene. I really hope they sort out their service, it’s such a shame it lets them down.I’m not sure we’ll return, I think if the kids fancy a burger, I’d rather brave McDonald’s as it’s quicker and the staff are super helpful. For me, I’d rather go the extra mile and trek into town to guarantee a better class of service for a similar type of food in future.

I have visited Get Chucked a few times now and the food never disappoints! The menu offers a selection of burgers which all cooked to perfection with high quality meat. You can choose from a variety of fries, I highly recommend the bacon fries as they are heaven. The only thing letting this restaurant down is the speed of which they can get food out. We have often waited a long time and have been told by the waitress the size of the kitchen can’t cope with the popularity of the restaurant. I urge the owners to address this as they have got everything 100% right apart from this. Having said this, the food is worth the wait, I just recommend you have a little snack before you go. This way you can enjoy the wait with a drink.

I headed here for some pre Fury fight food and unlike with the fight later in the evening I wasn’t disappointed. We booked a table and were shown straight to our seats, service was excellent all throughout the visit and the food was just as good. We ordered 2 burgers and a pulled pork sandwich and 3 portions of loaded fries and the holy f**k wings, all were excellent and we had to wait no longer than 10-15 mins for all of this. Couldn’t give a toss if there is no sign outside or pictures on the walls, best restaurant in Urmston by a long way.

The place looks totally uninviting which is a shame because the food is excellent. The decor is so stark. I’m sure with a decent makeover they’d increase business. The bar staff, she wasn’t over friendly. It wasn’t because she was rushed off her feet, we were the only two people in there on a Friday afternoon. They didn’t have the draught ciders on the menu. The decent American lager was a little pricey, but the food was very reasonable and delicious. Can’t fault them on that. We would return as the food was so good(as burgers go), but it’s a shame the place doesn’t “draw you in”. Four stars instead of five because of this.

We had tried to plan a visit to this very busy venue for a while & having dined there last weekend we were slightly disappointed after our friend's positive reviews. The food was good, when it arrived, but service was disappointing. We waited nearly an hour from order to delivery and the inexperience of the staff was certainly detrimental when the restaurant not being busy at that time. When the food arrived we still had to ask for the basics; knives, forks and napkins! Hopefully we just had a one off & next time will be better.

Came in recently and had a full rack of dry rubbed ribs, the fries I can't remember the name of (onion and cheese topping) and some buffalo wings. All washed down with a shindigger beer it was superb.Have been in this year for a takeaway burger, brunch and a big family gathering and each time the food has been spot on.

If this was a review on the food only, I would without a doubt give 5/5 but as an overall experience 4/5 and that’s due to the overall experience.£70 for a family of 5 is good value, burgers were great, loaded fries are a must and a meal in itself. I just felt that the very stark interior let down the meal because there was no atmosphere and it felt very unfinished which is a shame because everything else was spot on.No signage, which made it difficult to find. From the outside it just looked like a minimal bar, on first impressions you would know they served food. We travelled from Halifax to get chucked for my sons birthday, and when you book, you have an option to specify the “occasion” there was no mention of this from the server when we arrived to make him feel special. Sounds daft, but what’s the point in asking the reason for visiting if you are not going to do anything with the info?In summary, I’d go back if we were in the area...but worth a visit if you are local and want a good value, full on burger.

You might be forgiven for missing the place as there's no signage outside. It's the one on the corner with floor-to-ceiling glass frontage. Perhaps the signs are on order following the recent(ish) move? Or is it deliberate as an extension of the stark minimalist industrial statement of the interior? Who knows.On entering, it's immediately apparent that what's far from being minimal is the noise. And that was with it not being especially busy, either. Here's a tip: glass and bare concrete walls don't absorb sound, which isn't helped by horizontal speakers pointing speakers, either. I like the clean, modern look as much as the next chap but this feels a step too far. Soft furnishings are needed for the noise but there's also a huge wall of rough concrete that's just dying to have some trendy wall covering.Then we get down to the food/drink experience itself.First, there was no ice for our drinks; second, no ribs left meaning I was stuck with my second choice of piggy fries with a burger.The best way to describe the piggy fries is rather like an overdose of Bacon Fries on a plate with crispy bits. Instantly gratifying but a little overwhelming after a while, so perhaps have them to share.The burger was good: juicy, loaded and a generous dose of pickle served on a brioche bun.Rather like the decor, service was a little unpolished with one table noticeably receiving a certain amount of attention as the diners were obvious friends of a staff member.

I’d eaten at the previous premises and mourned their closing. They opened again with a great location. The food is great and, I’m my opinion, superior to the burger places in central Manchester. The beer selection is constantly changing and has never disappointed, but the main event are the fantastic burgers. I can’t recommend them highly enough. Child friendly restaurant with excellent staff, well worth a visit.

The people of Urmston are lucky to have this place. Mr White a southerner attended with his son and his Urmston in-laws who don't get out much. Burgers generous and better quality than the London chains - service excellent from Meg who was making her debut. No need to order too many sides but piggy fries really good as were the buffalo wings. Two pints of Stone IPA served in a proper tankard washed it all done lovely. Seemed to cater for groups, families, couples, kids no problem at all and good access. Reasonable bill and a very enjoyable ninety minutes.

Had a very good breakfast here two days in a row! Steak and eggs were absolutely great... eggs Benedict were amazing apparently (bit cold though). Service was fine and no complaints. Music was annoyingly loud but they turned it down...twice.. and serving food on paper would be fine if it was grease proof, except it wasn't so had to remove bits of paper from my food... by hey great restaurant and great location.

We went a couple of weeks ago with 2 hungry lads, after having had a brilliant experience at the pop-up version on Chester Road.Our highlights from that were the superbly seasoned fried chicken and the velvety gravy that accompanied it.Tbh we thought, since the name implies tasty chicken, that the menu & quality would not be vastly different.How wrong we were!The burgers were all around the £10 without and chips/salad and there was no fried chicken or gravy at all.The special was described as being a plateful and the pulled lamb was ok but the salad/aioli mayo etc were on the stingy side and came, lonely in a small bun on large tray.The bacon piggy fries were a similar disappointment, tho the quantity was better.They were really salty and covered in crumbled Frazzles, not crackling or real pork as was implied by the menu description.Really disappointing at a fiver!The bbq wings were reasonable and priced accordingly but with soft drinks at £2.50 each the bill for 2 lots of fries, 1 burger, 2 wings and a couple of drinks was well over £30 and left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth.The chipotle mayo was decent tbf but have to say this place should go back to its roots in the coop and recognise that a tenner for a burger with no fries is proper steep.The food took quite a while to come out despite there only being 2 other tables in, 1 already had been served. Service fairly meh - an update on what was going on in the kitchen as we waited would've been appreciated and less vagueness about what was included for each itemOh, and please get some proper napkins, paper or otherwise. Kitchen roll just smacks of unprofessionalism.

Just visited Get Chucked for a birthday treat. First time and we had a lovely evening. Brilliant food, quality burgers and ribs. Attentive and friendly service. Will be coming back. Thanks for a great evening.

The best part of the experience was when we left. We arrived on a Sunday lunchtime having phoned ahead but at that time there were only a couple of other tables occupied. The waiter was attentive, but didn't really have a clue bless him (i.e the difference between Baby Back Ribs and Long Rib) We ordered Chicken Wings and the Sloppy Burger & Long Rib Sandwich. We waited over half an hour only to be told the starters and main were going to come out together. And then it turns out the chicken wing starter hadn't even been put through to the kitchen.They did comp that for the Jalapeno Slaw we ordered (Very disappointingly slaw with a few slices of jalapenos from a jar) When the Sandwiches arrived the meat was more like mince and the cheese wasn't melted. I don't know if they were having a bad day but it's up to management to train their staff so they know what they're doing and by the time we left the place was full. It took a while for a 2nd member of waiting staff to come out and give the poor lad a hand. We won't be going back. Which is a shame.

I have been here on a number of occasions now and the burgers are great (all be it a little over priced in my opinion. As soon as you add normal things like chips and a bbq sauce things start to add up).All that being said i would definitely still keep coming back if it wasn’t for the repeated bad service again and again from inattentive and insincere waiters. I’ve only been once where i felt like a valued customer. I know what your thinking.. its only a burger bar, get over yourself. However, its quite an experience one at that and i think the management could try and train their staff to at least pretend they are bothered.

I have wanted to go to Get Chucked since it first landed in Flixton however its taken ages to convince my Wifey to visit. "It's just a burger joint", she'd say. "No.. look at the reviews", I'd reply.So eventually we went. We parked on the opposite side of the road around the 07.15pm...empty! So we decided to have a couple of beers at the local Steam House Pub and then returned. One table occupied... ok, lets go in.Wife ordered the baby back ribs with the dry rub and Piggy Fries, myself the Hillbilly Burger and Kung-fu Fries... one beer and a Latie. I'll be completely honest, I live local and I really want this business to succeed however... Meh!, average. The burger was just ok... really I thought it would be so much more but no. Small burger and the Kung-fu fries over seasoned (Salty). My Wifes Ribs she said were "Dry" and "lacking flavour" her Piggy fries left half eaten. Staff were great, can't fault them but the food... I didnt feel the love... no soul or pride. The price is ok, no complaints there but left feeling a bit Meh!... Is that what all the hype was about.
