TGI Fridays in Trafford

Good atmosphere but the food was shocking for the price. Small portions and left hungry. £20 for a burger and the portion of chips were smaller than the portion of chips in the kids meals. The kids meals had a large portion of very salty chips and a tiny amount of chicken, almost no vegetables as the corn on the cob was literally 4 pieces of corn in width, lol. Ordered 2 cocktails, both were terrible (served in the wrong glasses, not made properly, and watery), I returned mine for something different then the one they gave me had no alcohol in it. 3 bad visits over the last 5 years or so and this time we won't be coming back. Really not what it used to be.

Well overpriced and no better quality than McDonald’s £100 wasted and food/ service as poor as we’ve seen

Attended TGI Fridays trafford tonight, just leaving and I am already feeling ill. Rotten salad, without any of the ingredients on the menu, and then when I raised my concerns about the stench politely, salad was replaced with a frozen one! Ended up eating here because we couldn't get a table anywhere else, never again. What an experience! I'm astounded. Eat here at your peril! Wesley was amazing and the manager did take the price of the salad off the bill but boy, what a blighted meal experience. Never again.

The steak was all fat and grissle. The beef was stringy and overcooked. The best thing was chicken by far. The staff were ultra nice but the food was awful.

Looked to book for some food for 3 people. Had special deitry requirements. Was asked to scan the QR code and got a very limited choice. Food is very overpriced. Decided not to stay and just pay for drinks. Staff attitude went from luke warm to frosty because we chose to leave. Did not feel valued as a customer at all.

We didn’t even stay to order. The person who met us at the entrance couldn’t be bothered. We wanted to sit in a booth and he just said “it’s not clean” and walked off - ok, so get someone to clean it then?! It wasn’t exactly busy. Didn’t fancy staying and giving them our money after such a poor greeting. We went next door instead to Coast to Coast and received a warm welcome and were able to sit wherever we wanted. Maybe the greeter at TGI’s could take some training from them? Or get a job he can be arsed to do.

Pros Atmosphere lively Servers were friendly Cons Multiple blocked toilets Burger - bun was still defrosting, like ice in middle "Mac and cheese" - dry as a bone, Kraft cheese pasta out of a box is better. How they can justify £16.95 for that rubbish is beyond me. Took waitress 3 attempts to get drinks order correct. £85 for 3 mains and a round of drinks. One of the worst and unsatisfying meals I've ever had.

The food was ok but the service was terrible more bothered on there phones sat down talking to each other including management seen 2 tables walk out also due to the poor service

Slow service takes forever to approach the table to take your order. Please listen to other reviews increase your staff. Also stop serving beer on draught. Wouldn’t return due to slow service others tables weren’t getting their orders for over an hour.

Food cold. Overpriced. Kids burger overcooked and the garlic bread sent out tasted stale.

Had an amazing shopping day and then had a super delicious meal here . I d definitely recommend the place as the staff is very kind and smiley . They were also checking constantly how everything was which made us feel well taken care of . As regards the food we went for the classic sesame chicken strips and it was very tasty !!!!

Food is massively over priced and not even that good.... probably on par with burger king for quality but 3 times more expensive for same portion size

Cheryl could put on a smile for at least a second, and furthermore, not forget to add the garlic fries, your job is not that depressing Cheryl, I should know I work in the same industry but I probably get paid less and definitely smile more…….

Terrible experience, first the wait was too long, second we both the starter and main at the same time and third, the burgers were terrible.

Zofia! Amazing as always, memorised our fussy order perfectly and was all correct. Consider us impressed. Great service and good quality food this time around. 4* for food as quality with food isn’t consistent, good most of the time but can be disappointing (we visit a lot) but overall major improvement from our last visit. Worst burger ever, served cold . Not recommended

Tarik was fast and super friendly to take our orders, and as a vegetarian there was a variety of options for me to choose from.

Probably one of the worst TGI’s I’ve had in a long time… The first two person we spoke to was fine then a man was Italian he had glasses who had no clue what day it was and just seemed abrupt as hell! I was with my little girl who is 8 and asked for an ice cream with her meal which was the first thing I asked for! and when it came to the end he said it comes separate and they are not serving ice cream! Eventually I convinced him to get the ice cream for her! The chips were salty as the ocean and the beans literally could have been mistaken for little bricks as you can see in that photo! I told him about the beans and he said they may not be able to make more i complained again and finally got an ice cream which was the most snide portion I have seen in TGI Fridays with a drip of chocolate sauce with no other options and I paid full price for this. I would not come here ever again due to the lack of communication and customer service and food absolute toilet food!

Worst burger I ever eat. Cold beef and bacon, cold chicken and fries. Avoid this place. Cost around £20 each burger. Absolutely not worth.

Good food but service was terrible. Menus are ripped to pieces, no chance of a refill or colouring for the kids. The server didn't want to do desert so the kids were disappointed. It seemed like all tables were forgotten about despite it being only 50% full. We saw one table waiting 30 minutes for the bill whilst waiting for refills. We removed the tip that was added without asking. I really should have read the reviews about service being poor.

Food came after about five minutes but was cold so obviously I’ve been sat there before we arrived then they said they was going to make me another one and it be ready in five minutes. I waited 20 still no burger we ended up walking out after 45 minutes with no food.

Didn't give us cutlery. Ribs were cold. Shouldn't be serving cold pork. Had to find someone to pay the bill for the drinks so we could leave to get some food. Always enjoyed fridays but not this time.

What a disappointing and mediocre experience that was. The kids meals were dry and boring. No sign of the healthy side of fruit/veg. Brownie was just stodge, the kids wouldn't eat it. The adult food was over seasoned, and mostly unappetising. I'm gutted at how bad the sesame chicken strips were. Service was slow and whilst the guy was helpful and mostly correctly handled our order, he had the most disinterested attitude the whole time. That's my last visit to TGI, such a shame. Edit: They responded to this review asking me to reach out to their team, so I did. No reply, no response, nothing back. Kinda as expected.

I book a table for my husband birthday which was clearly stated upon booking and was bit dissapointed there was no complimentary treat no mentioning no nothing - i understandit's not party of 8 but i'd at leazt expect a happy birthday if i mentioned this on the booking... we ordered Cheese & Maple Bacon Loaded Potato Skins with 3 burgers, potato tots and unlimited refil coke so let me start from begining: Appetiser- loaded skins came same time as main burgers but okay, the taste of the becon was absolutely horrendous it smells and taste like old hog rather than maple becon and was uneatable and disgusting (and we had a big portuon - well lesson learned!!!!) Main burgers were very good and we absolutely enjoyed them. Potato tots - never get them had to go and find the guy responsible for our section to remind him of missing item and ask for refil - tots came in, which i can't say about refill 😒 We skipped desert even thou i had one free on the TGI app because honestly we could not be arsed to wait As for the first experience - i'd say i'm not impressed - service was okay considering it was busy but the food lukewarm and below average considering price you pay....

If there was an option to give the service no stars, I would.

I ordered the calamari (which was lukewarm at best) and the sweet potato fries (which looked to have been burnt to smitherines. Discusting , bland food. Servers were stood around talking whilst there was at least 10 dirty tables in each section.

awful experience, been enjoying tgi for years, but they have really gone down hill, the portion sizes were tiny, so overpriced! i had macaroni ‘cheese’ which was tasteless and awful, just fake cheese sauce on some plain unseasoned pasta, the portion was like a side, my parents had fajitas which has shrunk in size, 4 miniature wraps, 10strands of cheese in a pot, my partner asked for the burger, along with a side of mac n cheese, it only came with a burger and the mac and cheese on the side no chips, when disputed with staff they told us this is what you asked for and after explaining it was a side as well as the burger and chips she told us no, you asked for this, so we paid £19 for a single burger with no chips and £7 for the mac and cheese?! would of liked a refund for it to be honest but they were not having any of it. staff were not attentive and didn’t care enough, can’t believe how down hill this has gone

Took ages to ask us for out food and drinks and when they did they were not being that respectful and sloppy service waited an hour for mains we were served the mains whilst the starter dishes were on the table it got that bad we had to speak to thr manager and leave

Me and the fiance decided to stop in for some food and were greeted and served by David, was indecisive about what to order but he was quick to help and very polite. Couldn’t have done more for us.

They are training new staff, lovely guy but made a lot of mistakes. It happens, and everyone starts somewhere. It’s still a 5 star because Rea came over and helped and completely made up for any mistakes! Food swapped to the correct food nice and swiftly and a free drink each for the inconvenience. All with a smile and sincere apology. Price has gone up just like everywhere, but still really enjoyed my food and the JD glaze is still my favourite.

Probably the most disgusting thing I've eaten this year The sesame chicken strips were vile and looked and tasted nowhere near like the the description, the fries also were shocking, like the bits you get at the bottom of the bag, God love the server she did her best. Definitely no hurry to return here£50+ quid for something I'd scrape in the bin as leftovers

Walked in and left after 10 mins of getting here. £18 for a burger, £6 for onion rings, £8 for chips, no thanks. It was loud and staff were abrupt. My prediction is TGI won’t be around for very long and for good reason.

Waited over 50 minutes for food. It never turned up and left after eating nothing. Really bad service so won't be returning. Asked to pay for drinks and waitress was like "ohhh have you not had your food?" No we turned up at 6:15 order taken at 6:25 and now it's 7:15 cinema starts in 10 min and we have 2 hungry kids...cheers.

I went to the tgis in trafford centre today hoping for a nice meal with my friends yet that was not the case as my chicken was dry and the customer service was extremely rude. We have had nice times here in the past but we won’t be returning again for the main reason that the customer service was shocking and we hope to be met with cheerful and polite people when we go to eat somewhere for a meal, especially at this price. I hope it is replaced with something at better standards in the future.

The servers at TGI fridays are absolutely appauling attitude and overall give a very bad vibe and atmosphere to the resteraunt. The customer service is most likely the main reason of why they are shutting down! Absolutely appalled with my experience tonight. Would not recommend

Absolutely very bad quality food food was very cold. I prefer five guys. Was first time I’ve been there on Fridays but never ever I don’t come back there.

£5 for a tiny basket of fries!!!! Been to a few TGI Fridays. This is by far the worst. £5 for fries fine they don’t set the prices. But in a tiny basket?! Other Fridays give you a decent size portion. Kids hot dog was rubbery and hard to eat which resulted in my child not eating in the end. Server was rude when my wife accidentally pressed the wrong button on the card machine he muttered under his breath FFS! Then when setting up the payment again had the cheek to ask for a tip. This ain’t America pal and if you’re gonna be rude to people you ain’t gonna get any tips. I’d avoid this place. Only busy because of the location not because of the quality

So disappointed with the experience of going here on Thursday night, the foreign guy serving me wasnt very helpful, I had to ask for the offers menu and wasn't very cheerful. I ordered my food and it came pretty quick, the starter was fine but then the main came out which was meant to be a chicken burger and I got a beefburger, I couldnt be bothered complaining as it was 10 minutes before closing, the waiter also was hard to get his attention to get a refill on my coke as he was talking to someone he knew. I was looking forward to eating here as its been a while since Ive had one but the food was bland and tasteless and over priced for what it was. Want be going back any time soon.

Went yesterday. Place not busy. Waiter not very friendly and slow. Served warm tap water. Food wasn't nice, steak had been bashed up and over cooked. Pasta lukewarm and undercooked. Paid £45 for 2 starters that were average and a bottle of what was meant to be house wine! No apology or receipt given. Would not recommend.

As we arrived even though they were busy we were seated almost instantly and then the woman that was taking care of us for the evening was fantastic her name was noelly (I deeply apologise if it is spelt wrong) but she was lovely and you could see such a hard worker then when the food arrived both me and my girlfriend were taken aback by the quality and we found it to be really nice and lastly the atmosphere was amazing as we both love rock music aswell as being a sucker for a good looking restaurant i would definitely recommend

Travelled here after finding out that TGI Fridays exchange square Manchester is permanently closed, im glad I made the journey, the food was great the cocktails were amazing and strong just how I like them, it was one of the best decorated TGIs I’ve been in even beating londons location in Leicester Square

When you get to food hall they don't show the prices on the menu out side. This is because if they did no one would go in 25 quid for a burger? 20 quid for some fajitas The food was nice , the service was very good. I'm not sure what the difference is between tgi and something like a Five guys but apparently its about £70

Absolutely shocking meal!! Staters come cheese was burnt on the nachos Potato skins cooked in old fat £38 mixed grill come with 60% fat attached to 40% meat!! Onion rings burnt to a sinda Spare rigs on mixed grill and they can’t give you any wet wipes to clean your hands I had to use the toilets to wash my hands!!!! Unbelievable high value absolutely low quality

I visited restaurant during weekend, was very busy. Queue outside wasn’t that bad, we got a number and asked to wait inside….. inside nobody followed numbers so all people who came after us were seated while we were still waiting. When I asked waiter about it, he answered we need to wait for a 2person table, calling me „babe” 😳 and making faces… so what is a point to get a number? Plus two other couples who came after us were seated already! Gentleman who took our order was great and food was good. Never again.

Lots of staff all ignoring customers ! Sauce all over tables, although they were Laid out, and we got seated at a unclean table. Customers asked to sit in private aareas as on dates and told no areas closed ! All crammed together and not enjoyable ! Toilets disgusting 🫣 , stairs to toilets covered in grease , slippy and food on floor! Service for food slow and never asked for sauces so had to get up and ask staff who were chatting,Ended up leaving food as wrong order and asked for the bill, walking out tables full of plates and glasses and staff stood talking about nights out, shame as prime spot to eat and been before and was lovely , needs a decent manager to manage staff !.

Grotty and generally unclean. Slow service. The tables had crumbs and leftover food on them, as did the seats. The menus were sticky. Food arrived cold after a long wait and on a dirty plate. Avoid.

TGI’s was always one of my favourite places to eat growing up, however the cleanliness at the Trafford centre venue is horrific, seats full of food, cutlery dirty and toilets weren’t even fit for purpose. Put me off my meal and overall experience wasn’t great. Wasn’t particularly busy, food was ok but chicken over cooked and chewy. But the hygiene rating for this branch should be 2* at best. Won’t be returning

Best atmosphere for meeting and chatting with clients.

They were very busy as it was a weekend - we waited for 20 minutes before we got a table. But when we sat down, the gentlemen who was in charge of our section was great and very attentive! The food was delicious and the burger was amazing! And dessert was interesting, but the cake on the sundae was very good!

Tarik has been a great server, very attentive and kind to my two little girls. It’s the first time I’ve brought them out for a meal alone and it’s been really easy thanks to the friendly nature of the restaurant! We’ll certainly be back! ☺️

I visited today for lunch with the family. We had team member David serving us today and he was fantastic! Made us feel welcomed, involved our little one in the decision making for her food and when there was a small issue with one of our meals he ensured that everything was put right with it, even offering to replace it if the corrected meal wasn't right the next time round. Would definitely visit here again and what a credit to the team David is!

Got the worst food poisoning I've ever had from here. I called them up the next day and they Said food poisoning take 24-48 hours to take affect and I got sick within the hour. Was sick for days. Will never go back.

Have always loved dining at TGIs however won’t be returning to this restaurant. Potato skins burnt, presentation poor, excessive amount of topping on nachos, partner received wrong order, “cheese donuts” you could get better in Iceland… Every table messy, unclean, bits of food and used napkins everywhere - not to mention the dust. Unfortunately it felt run down and in need of saving

On arriving at TGI Fridays we were seated at a table and given "sticky, dirty" menus and were told someone would be over to take our order soon which they did 10mins later. Our drinks were served to us another 10 mins later and I had no issue with that. We waited and waited for our food which was 2 burgers and a kids meal. As time ticked by I noticed there was more and more people being seated for dinner and the table next to us getting their food before us which we were there 30mins before they arrived. After 50mins a waitress who had noticed I was looking around for our food came over and told us our food was "next to come out of the kitchen" so we said we would wait as it was nearly being served to us, or so we thought. 4 more orders came out and still no sign of our food and it was just over an hour at this stage so I'd had enough, because my child was starving. We went up to pay for our drinks and I asked for a manager and the girl at the till said she would fetch him. He came over and looked at me at if I was the issue, I told him I wasn't happy that we were waiting over an hour and still didn't get our food, and other tables that came in after us had gotten theirs to which he replied "I don't care about other people, if you had come to me sooner I'd have went to get your order"......no.1 he was no where to be seen only laughing and joking with a waitress blowing up balloons, no.2 if he was good at his job he would be managing his staff properly and No.3 I told him I had been told by a member of staff it would be next out of the kitchen, so they were aware I wasn't happy with the hour long wait. He had no manner about him and said he would go to the kitchen and get the food and there would be no charge but at that stage I thought if the food was as bad as their service I wouldn't waste anymore time so I offered to pay for our 3 soft drinks and he said it was OK that we didn't have to. We went down to Burger king and were met by amazing staff who were so helpful and friendly and knew exactly how to do their jobs so I think the manager in TGI fridays and his staff could learn a lot of lessons from the staff in Burger king. Less balloon blowing and more serving and communicating would go a long way.

From my perspective, it isn't value for money at all. Seriously a sub-standard burger costs £20?!!!! I really regret going to this restaurant. Thank God that I went alone. If I had take my family along, they would've blamed me for making them eat the lowest value for money burgers. The staff who took my order was new and asked her about the menu. She straight away said I'm new and she doesn't know about it. Okay I agree she's new, but can't she at least ask the other experienced staff that a customer has a question and resolve it?? Never again!

Shocking service. Kids meals came out late, missed an adult side, couldn't get any refills, staff just huddled round the till. They didn't even clear plates and to get refills we pretty much had to do it ourselves. Can forgive when busy but staff outnumbered customers, total joke, won't be back.

Been many times to this chain and had good food to be fair. I ordered the same sesame chicken strips that I like. However, this time came a burning plate with burning sauce which obviously was heated in the plate with the chicken since the chicken was dry. Disappointing. Fries was good so they got that right. Bubble tea was warm even though had ice so not sure how they making it. Bad taste too. Didn’t even offer ice for tap water or bring any cutlery until requested. Waitress and staff are friendly but need to do something about the kitchen and service can improve. On top of that got a salad which I bet is from last week. For the prices that are not low I would expect better specially since I been so many times. Not a pricy place but not cheap either. Will stick to the one in prestwich they are better. Kids menu is fair but nothing special.

What a disappointing experience. The high melanin woman working there was straight up rude and had zero manners. She was slouching on the couch the whole time whilst serving us, didn't even say 'excuse me' or 'sorry' - it was just 'huh?' when she didn't understand us, completely informal and unprofessional. And when she brought out the hot plates, she didn't warn us at all. We almost burned ourselves! The service was unbelievably slow too. We had to ask twice before one of the 6-8 staff members available finally brought over the bill. And then they didn't even come collect the cash we left - we had to get up and bring it to them ourselves. However, the high melanin male staff member was the complete opposite - very polite and helpful. He actually warned us about the hot plates, which we appreciated. On top of the poor service, the value for the food portions on certain dishes was not worth the price we paid. The portions felt skimpy considering what we were charged. As first-time customers, we definitely won't be going back. No wonder this place only has a 3.7 star review - the service from that one rude staff member was awful. Avoid this place if you want to have a decent meal out.

Decent fries, everything else is sub par, especially the garlic bread. Service was slow, wonky tables, old sticky menus, refill drinks sound great but you need the service to refill them. It would be acceptable if the price of the food was cut in half, I'm not exaggerating either, literally half price would be fair.

Truly awful…food arrived at the table in instalments, 3 year olds was last to get to the table, fajitas freezing had to ask for sauce and wraps after sitting for 5 mins without them, hottest thing about them was the sour cream, pasta freezing under cooked no garlic bread had to chase that as well, ladies toilets flooding, just absolute chaos, never again

They tried to squash a party of 5 onto a table for 4. We moved a table to make it a 6 person table. Menu's definitely need cleaning. Staff need training to be more attentive. To have to ask for drinks refills when staff used to offer this shows the downward spiral this outlet is suffering. Food was good but very overpriced compared to othe good outlets. Will think twice before returning.

Don’t waste your money!!! We visited on 27th of July at lunch and it’s the worst visit we have ever had and has actually put us off returning. The general cleanliness wasn’t great, the table we where sat at was sticky as it hadn’t been wiped from the previous customers and the floor needed sweeping. The food was ok it came out barely warm but no member of staff came anywhere near to do ask how things where. My main issue is the staff…. they don’t seem bothered in the slightest to provide any acceptable level of customer service but are more interested in standing around chatting or even better walking round the restaurant shouting over tables about how they need extra money but can’t be bothered with the customers. I had walk over to a group of staff and ask to pay which seemed like a huge inconvenience for the staff taking them away from their conversation, Ellie W who took my payment clearly had very little customer service training. The team could benefit from training at this restaurant. I wouldn’t waste your money on a visit here and I would love any member of the TGI Fridays team to contact myself! Honestly you would be better going to a supermarket and buying there frozen range than spending 3x the amount in the restaurant!

Seriously over priced. We used the app to get kids meals free but £18 for a burger and chips( no salad included) is mental. 2 cocktails for £16 is pretty much saying we will make you have 2 . Usually tgi Fridays do good cocktails but their passion fruit martinis were rubbish. My wife's chicken and chips was over £20. This is a Thursday afternoon aswell! I'd recommend ending this company personally. Daylight robbery for the quality you get. I personally will never use their restraunts again.

My husband and I decided to pop in for dinner. On arrival we saw a banner advertising 'bottomless sesame chicken' for £15 when using the app. We thought we'd give it a go and we're so glad we did, the chicken was delicious and the portions very generous and piping hot - we managed 3 each. Plus loaded fries, sweet potato fries and mac and cheese on the side. Would also like to mention the wonderful service we received from Oliver Ncate. I didn't see him without a smile! He had such a lovely, positive and warm body language and made sure we were well looked after. Thank you, Oliver!

Vegan burgers and chips really good! Had someone with an allergy which was sorted with the someone which was nice. However the waitress emily forgot our drinks and only after prompting our food did the drinks get given to us. Our waitress Ellie w seemed to lack enthusiasm and I can't blame her being a waitress but still, service was slow and and she didn't appear friendly. From paying it was like k thanks bye sort of attitude. Can't complain about the food and atmosphere which was good and it was clean and we were served quick just the service and late drinks.

Seated and then just left and forgotten about for over 30 mins, was not busy either! All waiting staff were talking amongst themselves, even after we got their attention to be served... Terrible

The food is reasonably tasty. Service was extraordinarily slow. One has to wonder what the staff actually do at this restaurant, because it seems despite being half full even getting back change from paying the bill (about one pound fifty) took more than TWENTY minutes, and getting out food was also extremely slow. That said, the atmosphere of the restaurant seems nice and it's relatively clean, but the terrible service (or lack thereof) warrants only a 2 star rating, especially considering the relatively steep cost for just a burger and fries and almost extortionate amount they charge you for a coke.

We attended for lunch and was surprised to see a queue had formed outside to get in! Luckily it went down quite quickly. Our order was taken and the food arrived in 5 minutes, even before our drinks. The meals were underwhelming. Our smash burger patties seemed overcooked and the chips were full of black eyes and overly salty. For almost £45 for two meals & two drinks, I expected a lot better. Staff were pleasant, but I'd advise going to one of the other restaurants in the food hall.

My recent visit to TGI Friday's was fantastic! The atmosphere was lively, and the food was delicious—especially loved their loaded potato skins. What really stood out was the exceptional service I received from Paris. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure our dining experience was perfect. Her recommendations were spot on! Will definitely be back for more great food and service.

Very good nice atmosphere however abit expensive. The food was very nice. The service was superb. Only problem was getting seated took a while and it was quite expensive.

Now I do love a good TGIFridays and their drinks. I'm sat at my table with no cutlery or napkins. And ordering food that requires cutlery is given, shouldn't have to ask. Then watching a waitress walk passed you with your food to return it to the kitchen and 5 mins later bring your food cool while the plate is hot as hell. Then listening to the table next to me say "ooh the foods really fresh and hot". It's just the little things that do matter as well, a smile, a hello but I've had it only from one waitress called Elizabeth.

We booked in for a meal to celebrate my daughter’s birthday after the cinema. Jack P looked after us and other staff were aware of it being a birthday celebration. The restaurant had a nice, busy atmosphere with other birthdays being celebrated. Kids loved the food too! Thanks for making it a lovely meal for my daughter, Jack 🤩

Went for a lovely meal for Father’s Day and honestly couldn’t fault the staff or food! It was amazing, had the best time. Thank you to Grace and Ethan for being amazing plus other staff that served us today.

Overall the food and drinks are good

Terrible food, terrible service and awful prices. We waited for 10 minutes to get the food menu after being seated. The servers were rude and unhelpful. I ordered a cola and got an extremely watered-down one - I have no idea how you manage to mess that up. I then ordered a burger and chips. The chips were bland (requiring a lot of salt and pepper to be palatable) and the burger was greasy. The burger patty was so thin, it looked like something from the McDonald's. £26 for this is atrocious.

I don’t know why this review was removed . But on remembering we were seated next to a bucket which was on the floor not cordoned off under any health and safety in that particular area catching rain that was leaking from the ceiling

I’m not sure what positives I can provide on this review but I’ll give it a go. Our main server, Michael, was friendly and helpful throughout. I’m genuinely not sure how he kept a smile the entire time, as none of the other staff did. First of all the building is absolutely filthy. Both men’s toilets blocked, dirt on the floors, dirty knifes and forks (when you eventually get them, maybe when you ask for the 3rd time), menus sticky to the point that you have to wash your hands after and just general nasty mess everywhere. On a hygiene level I would recommend avoiding this place if you have an infant, elderly or a weak immune system. When we arrived after booking we were shown to a table before a party waiting before us. The other party said it was fine to go ahead but this was a clear lack of managerial skill from the chaotic staff from the start. Upon ordering, the staff are unable to answer what “meat free chicken” really is. Because of this we had to order alternative foods. Surely this is an allergen problem, but come on TGI, if half your menu is going to promote meat free, at least tell us what it is? 🤣 Our starters arrived and were fine, except for one of the chicken starters that was cold and chewy like it had been left out for too long. The waitress who delivered the food looked like she didn’t want to be there (honestly neither did I). During the food arriving a cleaner was trying to then clean under our table with a mop. The mains arrived and again, fine, except for the lack of understand on what a fajita is supposed to be. I’m not sure how 4 mini wraps was ever going to be enough for a hot plate of chicken? Has anyone in the kitchen actually seen a fajita? Again, one dish cold and the kitchen decided to replace sweet potato fries with normal, slightly anemic and soggy chips. I’m not gunna lie, we didn’t stay for dessert because we would still be there in the morning at this rate. The service was slow, getting the bill was slow, food was poor at best and the kitchen staff clearly didn’t want to be there for the bank holiday weekend. I’ve attached photos because I think you must see it to believe it at this rate. Manchester hygiene should be shutting this place down and TGI should be ashamed at the way they’ve let this store go. I never expected 5 star dining but I don’t expect to be unable to use the loo, wash my hands (the sink was filthy) or worry that my food has been sat out for hours before. We should have left the moment we heard a 2nd table complain and refuse payment. Attend this establishment at your own risk.
