Better than mc's all day long for bergers

I placed my order at 7.10pm & the app told me it would be half an hr delivery. I call the resteraunt at 8.38pm & they told me no driver had been, but they would make fresh when they arrived. I still waited & waited. The driver then called me @9.15pm 2 hrs later, he assured me the food had been remade & he would deliver. My food arrived at 9.51pm cold, I am Absolutley disgusted with the service this evening , nearly 3 hrs wait for my food. We were celebrating a Late Mother’s Day & it was spoiled

Ordered from Uber eats on multiple occasions, twice now the staff simply can't read simple instructions. Twice my order came through with cheese when specifically ordered without. Call the store not interested call Uber? Not even a sorry.

ordered a food delivery from here; a cheeseburger with fries and a shake. food arrived and there was no shake. we called the driver who said this was the only bag given (drink not included), but he mentioned that he read the delivery label, and asked if this was the only bag, the five guys employee said yes. clearly not true as a third of my order is missing! unsure how difficult is to put three things in a bag. really not happy, won’t be ordering here again

items missing and what did come wasn't all that hot, or even good to be honest. hot dogs are tiny and the burgers are bang average (and not great value)

This is the single WORST food place I have ever had the displeasure of ordering from in my life. I ordered an Oreo milkshake and was instead given a peanut butter milkshake which I am allergic to. I am lucky I noticed before I drank it. I sincerely hope this place gets shut down.

Found the burger and hotdog very “wet”. Would have been better if not wrapped in foil! Very tasty though. Probably wouldn’t order again

The service yesterday was good. Went in with 7 kids and 2 adults. Thought 5 guys would be better than taking them to McDonalds and atmosphere wise. The burgers were awful and the chips weren’t great. Can’t believe I spent £126 on really bad food. One positive. The man who served me was very nice.

Chips cold and stale/hard, not really eatable. Milkshake was good however.

Chips were stone cold, they forgot to give me my milkshake and when calling they immediately hang up without saying a word.

it was on time based on the app. after constantly updating. increasing how long it will take. the chips were cold/ lukewarm and the burger was very squashed.

Tastey and good quality meat, but arrived cold and chips all over the bottom of the bag. Container for them was a cup with no lid.

Half of the ordered toppings were missing from both burgers and the taste was not as usual, the chips were stale and not palatable. Disappointing to say the least! Expensive dinner was ruined. Horrible when you’re super hungry.

I thought Burger King did good burgers but this place tops even that. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with Lil fries and a strawberry milkshake. Each bite was delicious and despite my skepticism I think I found a new favourite burger joint! Yum! 😋😋

Visited for a quick bite after a day of shopping. The service by the ladies who took my order and gave me my order was nice. The food was amazing as always at Five Guys (however very pricey compared to other popular fast food chains). The chips and shakes are absolutely amazing and a must try for anyone and everyone. I had the veg sandwich with cheese which I always love. 5 stars for the food. The only downside I experienced was that there was a male staff member who I spoke to about obtaining a key for the disabled toilets to wash my hands just like everyone else did (as it was locked and the main toilets were out of service - only 4 stars because of non useable main toilets) however he gave the vibe that I wasn't welcomed at his store, unlike the other 2 ladies who served me. Very strange behaviour from the male colleague on that day hence only 3 stars for the atmosphere for me. Avoid him and everyone should be fine.

As a Uber eats rider I requested the staff to use the toilets the boy refused by saying it's customers only... Seriously? I am helping you make money as well by delivering your food to your customers.... Very very disappointed..

Just got a milkshake been wanting one all day got home they only put salted caramel in it not even on the order full milkshake wasted they need to make sure staff can read properly

I love the Five Guys burgers and also like a good hotdog so thought I’d try one of theirs as I’ve never dined that... Sadly it’s a different experience, probably one of the worst hotdogs I’ve had and it was cut down the middle and flattened out 🤷🏻‍♂️ so I won’t be doing that again. Fries were great as usual. Also all the extras were missing from the hotdog.

Ok it's more expensive than McDonald's but the food is miles better and you actually feel full afterwards. You can get any number of fillings free and the chip portions are big.

First time trying after reccommendations by friends. Went on our meal break in work. Absolutely without a doubt the best burger I have ever had. I've been to gourmet burger places and this won hands down. The chips weren't that great as they were too crispy for my liking, but they were ok. I'm also not a fan of the polystyrene vending cup they come in. But the burger was neatly wrapped. I also had a milkshake which was very nice. Almost more like an ice cream to be honest, I reccommend the Peanut Butter one! The service was excellent and the restaurant seemed clean. 100% will return.

Two beers, two burgers, two fries aka over £35 and a hard seat to sit on! Beers so expensive, chips undercooked and floppy, burger tasteless! My husband wanted me to go after all the hype aka “best burger “ etc. Have to say it was poor. Not worth the calories at all. Not a patch on BK (not that I go much) or Nandos as an option re price. So overpriced and tasteless. Sorry not sorry - emperors new clothes. Oh and had to let the staff know the toilet was out of tissue!

Came twice in a week and the service was amazing both times. Came with our two children and enjoyed our experience. Hot, fresh food and amazing milkshakes.

Me and my family arririved on a Saturday evening and were made very welcome by the members of staff. We are a family with 2 babies and they did everything to make our meal perfect, he bought drinks over and crayons for our Toddler! He was a real character and a lovely person. The Food and customer service was unbeatable. Parking is brilliant.

Sent wrong order. I’m allergic to cheese. I called and was greeted with a rude young girl. She said contact Uber. Uber give me a refund for half the price of the burger. I call five guys again and I ask the girl if I can speak to a manager. She says to a man next to her ‘he want to speak to the manager’ the man says ‘tell him your a supervisor’ she then keeps saying ‘nothing physically I can do’ over and over again until she puts the phone down. I recorded the whole thing. This is unacceptable. I’m left with a burger I can’t eat and lost half my money. Five guys has turned into a joke. Just kids working there and they don’t care about service or customers.

The atmosphere is calm, and the service is great even with a smile 😃 with regard to the food 💯 defiantly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My first time here. Great service, very friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. The burgers were so tasty and the chips were divine. I made the mistake of ordering the larger chips for myself and my son, way too much, only needed the small portion. Quite pricey but if you can afford it, well worth a try.

Excellent burgers. You ask for extra and you get get plenty extra. Can't fault this site.

Great staff and great food! Was nipping to maccies for a snack with my little lad, but we decided to try this instead. I was worried about my choice when I saw the prices for 'fast food' but decided I would give it a try. So glad I did! We did only want a snack, so got a kids cheeseburger each and a kids fries to share. Was probably double the volume of food we would have got from maccies - the kids burger the size of a large maccies burger, and top restaurant quality. I mean I loved every bite. The boy said it was the best burger he'd ever had. Also got a shake, which was small but lovely. Nice to see committed staff too. The guy at the till said to my boy: 'You're going to love this, because I'm going to go cook this for you myself!' He wasn't wrong, and wonderful to see staff so confident and happy with their work. Can't wait to go back (when I've saved up a bit! 😂)

Great experience, staff and the food was lovely however it's so, so expensive. A very rare treat at those prices!

Edit: I’ve seen the response to my review yes ok fresh ingredients but still I paid restaurant prices for a burger chucked in a paper bag and my fries split inside, no tray and paper cups for a milkshake that cost £7!!! This was my first time visiting one of these restaurants as we were out of town and fancied a change from mcds…but oh my god, £60 for 4 burgers, 1 large fries and 4 milkshakes…what an absolute rip off and unbelievable really. It doesn’t even get served on a tray it’s shoved in a bag, our fries had been spilt inside the bag, the place wasn’t overly clean either. You help yourself to condiments and serviettes. Paying restaurant prices for fast food service!! Saying that my son ate every last morsel of his food and the milkshakes were nice but certainly not worth £6!! You would expect them to be served in glasses rather than paper cups and straws at that price! Won’t return to a five guys ever again with these rip off prices sadly. It should be half the price they charge.

Similarly to most five guys, the food was epic! We went on a lunchtime on Saturday and there were tables available which is rare for five guys! My only criticism is the drinks machine, the drinks are tasteless and we complained and did receive a refund.

Love five guys, and this location was spotless. I ordered food, and it came in good time. The drinks fountain was stocked up, so you could have any drink available, and the free peanuts are an awesome touch burger was perfect and the fries are so flavourful

Was a busy Friday night but the manager handled it well and whilst we had to wait to place our order they looked after us! Food came quicker than i thought it would, it is on the expensive side but always good quality and tasty!

Amazing place to eat from. Had very good fries compared to the other five guys I have tried. The drink machines had variety of options to choose from. At the time of visit only one was working but wasn't much of a problem. The atmosphere is usually great going in but I noticed a female manager who took my order was very nice until she went back to the cooking area and was shouting abuse at staff who i quote "has ADHD", as stated by another staff member. He was constantly verbally abused and picked on along with another member of staff who had it lighter. Overall food was great but the manager seemed to really not like or treat her staff well.

Normally Great here, went in was greeted nicely by supervisor food was good too. although, I did notice that the staff members are a bit child like - one girl was chasing another staff member around the table, one member of staff was talking inappropriately infront of me to another staff and as I walked out to the outside seating area I seen two staff members maybe on there breaks but stinking of weed. Would expect a little more professionalism as this place is expensive and it’s sad because the supervisor was very nice but rest of them were a bunch of kids. Normally I used to like it but something needs to be done about this as I won’t be returning here

Small but decent five guys branch, its directly opposite McDonald's, there's not many allocated parking spaces, though I don't think anyone actually checks. Food is usual quality, the staff look like they need a little training in their food prep but it still tastes good. When I visited the floor was really slippery, it's unclear why but the floor state extended all the way to the toilets. Edit: I was contacted by five guys management team who apologised for the condition of the floor and gave me a food voucher which was unexpected. Excellent that they read this review and followed it up.
