German Doner Kebab - intu Lakeside in Thurrock

1- there’s no mark wish one without onion. 2- One of the orders I choice Yogurt signature pot and one Spicy I received 2 spicy.

I order without spicy sauce and it come with spicy sauce. No attention on details. Disappointed

ordered 18:15 delivered 19:50. terrible service when delivery originally estimated at 39mins. driver eventually picked up food and drove somewhere else first. so food arrived cold. never again. want a refund

Should say, Salad Kebab instead of Doner Kebab. Meat kind of non existent but full of salads!!

2 years ago I would have given 5 stars, yesterday I was disappointed 10 pounds for a piece of bread and some meat and almost no vegetables

I went to the gdk at lake side shopping centre and was tiatally shocked to see food being prepared and not one member of staff was wearing any gloves , please gdk have a word with the staff , I ordered a mixed doner wrap , when I got home I was picking little burned bit of something off the wrap , so I don't think staff are cleaning down work surfaces properly, the place should be checked once a week by senior management , food tasted ok but I've had better , won't be eating from their again .

Ordered a kebab sandwich with extra meats but hardly any meat!. Was in delivery car so long, watched on tracker, the sandwich was cold, the salad made the wrap/bread soggy, chips were cold. The image online made the portions look huge. misleading.

Very happy with the service and food. Reg was very friendly and welcoming. The kitchen staff were fast. Food was cooked and packed perfectly. No complaints on mains. Generous portions. Satisfied cravings. (Wasn’t into the new donut bites)

This place failed to provide all of the food that I ordered. They only told me of this issue as I was taking the food away. I was begged by a staff member to accept a different product that I had no interest in. Dreadful service

Rahnuma was great host. Feizan was kind to listen to my order with precision also whilst cooking Took my order with no hesitation. Portion was perfect with the extra onions.

Ordered Doner kb with Chips & Salad , all I got few shredded chicken and lots of Chips & Salad. Very disappointed never going back 😔

I've never visited this GDK but decided to today whilst shopping at Lakeside. I really wish I hadn't bothered. Had a bit of a wait for the food as we arrived just after it opened. Not a problem even though it wasn't busy. I ordered 2 kebabs and a doner meat box. The meat in all 3 were like old shoe leather. I managed to eat some as I was hungry but most of it was thrown away. Won't be visiting this branch again. I've been to the O2 arena branch many times and will stick to that one as the food always tastes fresh.

So rude. It was busy but that doesn’t mean you can be rude. They missed 2 fries in my order. When I went to asked for it they were acting like I was lying. The employee there then said just give it to him what he’s asking for. It was like I was a beggar asking for food. Had worst experience ever.

Paying for a box of doner salad and fries and all you get is chips and salad in a box they fill up the box with salad so you can see how much meat they put in when you look underneath there is only a few bits of meat in the box. They have done this many times as i thought might be once as i went there but its now every-time i get food its like that. I think its a rip off and won’t go back there. And god forbid you tell them about it they will raise their voice and make embarrass you !! Waste!!! The ladies behind the counter all moody and the guys in the back staring at woman customers like they have never seen one.

Have been to this place few times lately, and this Was my last one!. It took me more than 9 minutes to order as the lady at the counter would understand English, moreover I have specified not to put certain ingredients as my partner was allergic. I got the order, my partner start to eat and realised that the allergic ingredients were in the items served, and everything was completely different on what we ordered. I got back to the counter and the lady was not giving any attention on what I was saying, I asked them to get the order remade due to my partner s allergy and they got upset!! I then askedfew forks she just took forks and thrown on the front counter!!! I think your food hygiene rating needs to be reviewed guys. This was my last visit to your place, will never visit this place again.

They kept changing the delivery time, so annoying, ordering food means we have no time to cook, but it took way too much time to be delivered! Would not recommend!

Thinking about GDK? Don’t bother. Better of eating soil from the ground. Large portion of chips (separately) was ordered for £3.00. Kid you not, the chips weren’t even enough to feed a toddler. The biggest piss take is when I questioned the chips size, the staff laughed. If she had normal teeth, laughing would’ve been acceptable. The kebab box, has 15% meat and rest salad and chips? Absolutely ridiculous. However, you’re paying maximum price for minimum food. Better off elsewhere or save your money.

Not sure what is happening but the prices went up and the food serving portions got smaller!. I ordered a mixed doner and I only got 3 strips of beef and a bit of chicken. I cannot believe the amount of salad that was put in the sandwich to make it look like a bigger portion. This is not fair guys. I came to buy doner meat with salad. Not Large salad with a touch of meat. Very disappointed :-(

It’s not kebab I would call it sandwich with 3 slices of “ham”. Lack of meat. All I remember is dry and crispy bread and lack of taste as not much filling inside. Not worth it and had hair inside…that is disgusting. Never come back

Disgusting. Overcooked, rock hard and greasy chips, undercooked kekab. Might as well drank a gallon of oil. Far cry from the standards in the past. Spend your money on a proper kebab shop. Update - and to top it all off I’ve now got a terribly upset stomach. Thanks GDK!

First time trying the vegan option (I'm not vegan) and must say it was delicious and a decent portion size. The hot sauce is very fiery and I loved it. Downsides would be the fries portion size and definitely the price; not sure if this was a normal price or a lakeside price.

Great service from milon, made us aware of the running discounts and added them on. Quick service given the rush hour.

Disgusting Hygiene. Avoid at All Costs. I was shocked to witness a customer return a kebab box due to a problem I couldn't fully discern. Instead of discarding the food, the staff took the meat out and put it back on the grill. This is a major health hazard and completely unacceptable. Before I even received my order, I requested a refund and left the restaurant. I strongly advise anyone considering this establishment to think twice. Their disregard for basic food hygiene is appalling.
