The food is very tasty, staff is friendly they cater to different types of people.I like visiting there with my family it’s a decent place to be in with your family and friends.

Ordered a couple of times this week and don’t know what they’ve done to their tofu. Taste is off and feeling sick already. Please go back to the old style tofu.

Today i had thai fried rice chicken from lakeside thai express. Being frankly it was wonderful, so i met the chef who prepared it and appriciated him. His name is Chef Sam. Once again Mr.Sam ,u have done a marvellous job. He is highly recommendable.

Rafi was out lovely server. The food was lovely. Red curry was banging and my noodle were 10/10. My mum get the rice was too hard and my sister said the flavour was lacking slightly but I disagree and think it was lovely and quite similar to an authentic Thai flavour plate.

I regularly go to different Thai express in different areas but honestly coming to the lakeside one has to be the best for me as SAM’s service is exceptional and is the reason why I prefer this Thai express branch. His communication and care he takes in what seems to be every customers order is second to none. Despite how busy it was he even made time to provide the same quality service to my children who left there with a smile on their face. Thank you Sam and I’m sure he will be doing big things for this company.

Ordered via the device but the scroll down was not working, wild guess when ordering and could not choose the drink i wanted so have to buy it somewhere else.

Sweet and sour not edible tastes of sugar, no sauce, no sour,no pineapple. I could have ate it if it didn't tasted like sugar was poured over it, very dry. The Jasmin rice was also ruined with sugar and was brown. It looks like fried rice -I'm very disappointed waste of money, cannot eat and still hungry. They should really review this dish. I have ate sweet and sour in Thailand and it was the best so I do know what Thai sweet and sour should taste like. My partners food was also dry but edible

Coming to Thai Express in lakeside for me is always amazing. The food is top notch and most importantly for me everytime I come Sam who works there literally provides the best service I have ever received. Rafi is an excellent representative of the fast food chain Thai Express Lakeside.

The most amazing service ever! My family and me come here almost every Saturday and sometimes we come to Lakeside just to eat at Thai Express. The manager Sam is excellent in his service and is so patient with us as sometimes we take a logn time trying to decide what new dish to try next. We recommend the Thai guy green and extra spicy if you like hot food or number 8 on the menu which is the Pad Sew. Absolutely delicious every time!

I am unhappy as I ordered Pad Thai with Prawns but got mostly tofu and some chicken after a long wait . it was disappointing when I got home and opened the food box - obviously could not go back to Lakeside . In future, I will wait and open the pack to be sure I got the right meal I paid for.

This would be usually a highly rated meal (fast), but it was not fast and not good value. Firstly, almost £50 for 2 mains, 2 starters and 2 desserts. Last time I was at this restaurant that would have been 30-35. Not really the restaurant's fault but it was was an unpleasant surprise. The mild spice is NOT mild. I remembered it as a pleasant heat, and I got unpleasant heat. Curry is way hotter than noodles, wings are the spiciest 🥵. The taste was good, but not at the price. The rice was incredible, every grain was separated and fluffy and nice and sticky.

Had an amazing experience. The food was amazing, pretty good in portion. Perfect value for money. Had a little problem choosing what to eat but Sam here, walked us through the menu with great professionalism. The service here was pretty fast as well. Ordered for the first time. Asked for veg rice and beef. Got plain rice which didn’t taste fresh. Serving was generous but quite tasteless…beef was lacking in quantity and veggies didn’t seem to ‘crunch’ right, like they were a bit raw… You might be better off at Chopstix opposite but I’ve not tried that so can’t vouch for it. £10.80 for the beef meal which isn’t reasonably priced.

Absolutely horrible food and not authentic at all. I ordered, and the food came 25 mins later and tasted of hot (temperature) nothing. Literally was like eating hot air Save your time and money and go elsewhere You have been warned
