Very small portion for 6.99 , gym box ... Sorry .

We been here first time in Maidstone. The food is delicious and staff were very polite and helpful. We wrongly ordered our bread for one meal. Once we notified them chef went extra mile to redo the whole meal fresh again with our preferred bread choice. Highly recommended.

Just ordered a meal with no salad or sauce. Kebab turned up with sauce and salad so I couldn’t eat it , I phoned up absolutely terrible service refused to send another kebab out . I spend a lot on kebabs in this shop but won’t be going there again terrible service and very rude 😡

Ordered one meal with curry chips, it wasn't made clear which one was the curry chips indeed not too sure if either were. Very nice though.

Great mixed doner in a reasonable price. Lots of seats and very spacious. Staff is nice and helpful.

The name is big but portions have dodge , ordered doner box with fries and salads , donar meat was only one fourth in the box rest filled with fries , when you order DONOT add dips as one dip comes with order and there is a confusion on order screen with explanation of what we are getting.

Food is always good here, prices are a little bit steep. The restaurant is always kept clean although, air-con is too strong.

Ordered for delivery. The kebabs were nice enough but the so called chocolate waffles were awful and falsely advertised. On the website it says "Toasted waffle bread with chocolate sauce" however we received untoasted kebab bread with a tiny bit of chocolate inside.

Has to be the worst place I have ever eaten, I had the mixed meat and cheese fries, the meat was so thin you could see through it, the chips were cold with the "meat" dumped on top all squashed into a small cardboard box. And a wooden fork to dig the chips out. My dog would have turned away from it. Never ever again, steer clear absolutely awful..

Had an amazing lunch there with family, especially kid's enjoy the hot Food & nice environment inside the kebab shop. Stuffs were very welcoming, doner specialist who were making our foods were very carefully while making, no doubts the open kitchen has added an Extra value for the customers so that everyone can see how their Foods are made..I recommended OG kebab, bites, hot & fresh fries & chocolate waffle..

I had an unpleasant experience at the Maidstone German Kebab shop with an employee named Peggie. It was very unprofessional of her to use her pregnancy as an excuse to avoid work and not fulfill her duties during her shift. Her communication with customers was very unpleasant.

Amazing food and service. My favourite part is that they keep their lobby clean throughout the day no matter if it’s busy or not. Shoutout to Peggie who took my order in no time even after dealing with a horrible client that was in a queue before me, Peggie managed to stay professional and nice 👍

Food is great but othet than that customer service is quite poor. When they took your money for an order you did not receive due to them being shut, no-one seems to care to help you get the money back... You're transferred around and asked to basically find your own way to contact their main office ... In 2024 when refunds can be done literally in no time from any device... They should have made their website inactive when unable to service so people wouldn't be placing orders they can't process...

Years ago it was fine , sauces , wet wipes, portions everything was absolutely fine. 1st they cut the wet wipes which is fine no problem about that, but after that they stop giving you a sauce and in the end they reduce the portion and for example I took 2 boxes for £16.48 and 85% of the boxes were fries. 2 stars because taste is still OK , but maybe I will not come anymore.

I had tried OG kebab recommended by Mahmud who is friendly and hospitable .The OG was delicious and superb.

Have come here so many times, now they have reduced the size of portion very much. We really liked it here...but not anymore. Price has gone up and portion has gone down. Won't come back again.

Had an amazing experience! Every single item served hot & Kebab was just mouth-watering 🙂 The open kitchen will give you a wonderful experiences how they make your food! Inside resturant is very calm & has good space for F&F meet up. Stuffs are very welcoming, thanks eveyone for lovely hospitality.

Tasty and nutritious, boxes 5/5 but the rolls were too greasy. Friendly and kind staff

Tasted good but was unimpressed with the portion size, the doner box with cheesy chips (paid extra for cheesy chips?) which cost just under £10 came in a box so small I was convinced they had made a mistake, you could fit the box in the palm of one hand. Won't be using this place again.

It looked very nice as a entered and when I ordered, the worker gave me a discount plus the food was very good and there was good portions

I like kebabs and kebab meat in general, this place gives me the ability to eat kebab meat in burgers in box meals and in the traditional fashion, definitely eat here if you like kebabs.

I don’t usually put bad reviews unless I really need to.. occasionally I’m going to German doner maidstone . The guy who work over counter named Houssian on of the modest person I have ever seen. .. whenever I buy my food from there it’s feel like I’m taking the food for free.. simple asking the GDK management staff to teach him how to serve Customer and ask the customers what they want

Everything was perfect from service to food. Giving just 4 stars as portions significantly decreased. Even if they put more cabbage would be great

It's been awhile since we visited German Doner Kebab, but it's a brilliant place to have a lunch. We absolutely loved the food and staff was friendly too. Good experience, recommend!

Ate in at Maidstone GDK and as always food and service very good. Actual eat in place a little cold with air conditioning on in November

Got stuff on website they don't do ,then waste my money by substitution for stuff I don't drink ,if you don't do something take it off your website .won't use again sick of takeaways on apps thinking they can treat customers any old way

The worst kebab I've ever eaten, the meat was poorly baked and tasteless. The kebab only had lettuce and no sauce. I couldn't eat it unfortunately. I do not recommend

Tried the GDK quezadialla with chicken and Beef, felt more of beef was there and little hard and dry. Taste is good otherwise.

Seems like the quality of the food has changed quite a lot since these stores were first opened. Im not sure I still enjoy the food here but the kids the like it hence the visit. The prices seem to have escalated too, boss box now being £13 (previously £10) is not ideal when the quality of food has degraded and the portions being reduced.

Any time I order from this place there’s something ALWAYS missing !

Ordered a large beef kebab meal with extra meat,and it turned up stone cold and inedible with about 5 strips of meat. Very disappointing.

This franchise will kill local kebab takeaways in a couple years. They do döner kebab better than most Turkish places. Spacious restaurant and delicious kebabs.

It’s amazing experience as usual at German Doner, we met Hussain (The manager) at Maidstone branch he was so kind and caring towards customers .We approached him saying we got less mix in the Gym box without Evn thinking twice he gave us another Gym box complementary . It was that kind gesture that German doner is our top priority to visit for halal yummy food . Thank you Hussain again .

The food arrived late it was stone cold. In fact, the only item that was warm was the Pepsi. The bread was soggy on the inside and rock hard on the outside. The chips for bland and cold. In all honesty, this is perhaps the worst takeaway meal I’ve ever had simply awful.

The only Kebab I eat in this town. Really tasty, freshly made well, choices for all. My favourite Gym box! Fast and very friendly service. Thank you Patrick! We will be back again and again 😉.

Very good food and arrived fast.

First time visiting GDK in Maidstone, we placed the order via app (Meal deal for two, one with chicken and one as mix) both of them came without a label, we couldn’t figure out which one was mix or chicken. Asked a colleague working there who goes ( the one is more out is mix and the one is in the bun is chicken) made zero sense. When he looked at the food he goes they both are chicken! It’s funny how they couldn’t follow simple instructions even though the order was placed via app! We were then served without sauces and warm drinks! When I asked for ice the same colleague goes they don’t have ice! If you don’t have ice put the drinks in the fridge at least so they are chilled especially when it’s summer! Such a bad experience!

Tiny portions , not worth the price WARNING !

Nous avons pris deux kcal kebab deal pour 20 livres (24 euros). Nous avons choisi au boeuf mais nous n'avons pas reconnu le goût du boeuf, les sandwichs étaient tièdes et nous avons eu des frites au curry au lieu des frites classiques commandées. La climatisation est trop rafraîchissante.

Very poor service and food. Shameless manager, even know that they did not put the chicken in the kebab, did not replace and add chicken. They don’t bother if you are not happy with their service. We will make sure none of the people we know go to this branch ever. Better throw your money than having food here. A black spot on high street. Will report their service to the head office too.

Please don't go here. Got about 5 strips of doner and less then a mouthful of chicken kebab when I ordered a mix kebab. Really bad portion size literally less then a kids meal for about 9 quid. Food was really tasty but the portion size absolutely ridiculous. Please don't bother

Ordered takeaway, no problem with the freshness or quality and reasonably tasty, but arrived cold and the amount of meat Vs salad not very good. Poor value for money in terms of meat, definitely more salad than meat, and not much sauce, much better from a 'traditional kebab shop' but maybe that's just what you get from chain restaurants

We have been to GDK a few times and always have had a nice experience, but today the customer service we received from Patrick and the other staff members was wonderful! They were all very polite and happy. The food came out so quick and was absolutely delicious, we couldn’t fault it! The restaurant was absolutely spotless and tables cleaned really quickly. All in all we had a lovely meal here and would definitely keep coming back!

First time using GDK today and I couldn't fault it. The food was really good the place was spotless and the customer service was spot on. We were served by Patrick and he was very friendly and welcoming. I only had the spring rolls and the beef one was amazing, I wasn't so keen on the chicken. I liked them so much I got some to take away plus a beef wrap. If you want a kebab on the next level I would recommend this place highly.

Lovely tasting food with just about the right amount.

Good deals and open at a good time, friendly staff and decent food

Well what a disappointment. We had the doner burger, which was overpriced to be honest. I also had the cheesy chips, which were bland tasting fries with some cheese sauce dripped over the top few, but not the rest. Worst of all was the full power AC which, without hot Sun pouring in just chilled the whole place to the point of fridge! Oh, and all this against a backdrop of rap and hip hop music which was unrelenting. I won’t be coming again or recommending this place.

Great food. We have tried GDK in Worcester so decided to come here on the way. They closed half the restaurant and didn't even open the seating area for us. We had to eat standing up. Would have given better rating if they were considerate enough to open a table since we have little children.

Lovely food as always specials offers with buy one get one free on Tuesdays good portions. Only thing that has changed is the sauces feels like they lost the pungency. Overall filling takeout.
