Brilliant carvery. Loved the "sittings" so that all the food was freshly cooked and each table being served at a time. Veggie option was fantastic. Loved the attention to detail, someone taking your plate to the table for you was a great touch. If in the area again would definitely revisit.

Visited for dinner when we were staying locally. Friendly welcome. Good choice on menu. Both chose the steak & ale pie from the Specials board which was really lovely. Piping hot & generous serving, so much so that we couldn’t manage dessert.

Stumbled on this pub, very traditional bar etc and was expecting the usual pub fare, and if that’s what you want it is available but also some different options. I had the Porchetta stuffed with fennel and garlic served with mash and veg, my husband flatbread with spice chicken and peppers, followed with lemon roulade. It was all very delicious and such friendly staff and atmosphere.

Just had the most amazing Sunday lunch at the George. Food was cooked to perfection along with the customer service. Excellent beers and lovely garden to sit in.

Had a fantastic lunch today at The George at Felpham. New menu plus a specials board so hard to choose from so many dishes! Beautifully freshly cooked and presented. Piri spirits chicken skewers with salad on flat bread and chips, new York chicken, coleslaw and chips, 3 lamb chops with veg and new potatoes £17. Only complaint was portions of chips too huge but all delicious!

Lucky enough to find this gem when we were staying up the road at Butlin’s. Lovely owners managed to squeeze us in for a carvery on a Sunday. Food was amazing, service was amazing. Highly recommend!

Lovely cosy place, like being in someone’s front room. We had the Sunday roast for the first time. Not disappointed. Food was devious, piping hot and lots of it. They went the extra mile for me, being vegan, made a solo vegan gravy and stuffing balls. The wellington was delicious. Lesley the land lady is very pleasant and welcoming . Sunday roast was superb. Best we've had at a country pub for a long time. Staff friendly and also has a lovely little garden for kids to run around in.

We have recently visited this pub for lunches out a few times recently. Cannot recommend it enough! Very friendly staff, fantastic menu and delicious home cooked food. Pics of steak and ale pie. Chicken in Stilton cream sauce and steak and kidney suet pudding. We struggled with the large portions!

Went for a meal before our pool match as we like to support the pubs away to, couldn't have asked for better service and food, absolutely amazing.. made swaps to one of the meals and even asked for a sauce that wasn't in the menu.. no problem, best meal out in a very long time and couldn't recommend more!! ( we blame the fact that we were too full up to play properly for losing😂)

Three of us had a lovely lunch, sandwich, ploughmans (cheddar and stilton) with a pint of Goldmark Dave Best. Service was good (table service) and the table we chose in the conservatory was lovely in the warm Sun. Food is available on plates (instead of a chunk of wood) if you ask. Highly recommended.

Just had a fantastic Sunday roast. ( Beef and chicken .)What a spread.Large portions and a gravy boat !!!!!!!Very helpful and friendly staff who could not do enough for you. Busy but not noisy with a nice level background music. Would highly recommend this for a Sunday lunch. Brilliant.

A group of 12 of us stopped here for lunch on the way home from a Butlins weekend. We found the Inn by accident and so happy that we did! The welcome was great with friendly & happy staff. The carvery was amazing! Plenty of choice, all fresh and really tasty. The potatoes were the best I have eaten. No negatives from me and will always stop in on the way home from Butlins now! :)

We found this lovely Inn by accident, but how lucky were we to hit the jackpot. The welcome was almost as big as the Sunday dinner, and that was massive, full of great rosties and a succulent meat medley. If we can find you, we will be back as the Pimms were spot on too. Thank you guys.

Staff couldn't be more accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious apart from a steak but when we complained it was taken off the bill without any argument. We went the next evening too as it was so nice and the staff remembered us and we're very welcoming. The food again was delicious. If you are in the area make sure you pop in.

This is our local pub so we eat here quite a bit and we love it , today was my husband’s birthday and we had a great fishy lunch they even gave us a cake for the birthday !! Top friendly service indeed ! As it’s local we shall continue to return for more excellent meals .

Gill and the team were very welcoming, the service and food was excellent. The atmosphere was was very relaxing and being our first visit for a Sunday roast our dog Luna was made to feel welcome being given lots of attention and treats too. An genuine pub feeling with friendly locals which you don’t find easily these days but it also has a separate restaurant and conservatory so we couldn’t fault anything. A must for anybody that loves a traditional Sunday carvery. The meats are always top quality, the veg done just right and yummy yorkies. Not only can you go back for extra veg, you can have extra meat as well!! Well worth a visit, but do book as its a popular place.

Firtsly, I have no idea why the picture of the pub shown is not the George Inn, this can only be to lure you in as it is most definately not the same pub and personally I find this deceiptful.The carvery is ok, reasonably priced, thats about it - but not a good selection of beer and unfortunately the appear not to be able to keep a good ale. Shame, has potential but according to the locals it has been in decline for some time now and you get a better beer elsewhere in the village with the more popular pubs
