Gee's Bar & Restaurant in Shepway

We had our wedding meal & drinks (12 guests) at the Royal Norfolk. Alison & Bill opened the venue specially for us on a quiet March Monday and made us all feel incredibly welcome (fire lit, well dressed tables with flowers). The food was delicous and they even made us a special cake (special thanks to Terry the pastry chef). We loved the entire experience and still rave about the warm hospitality we were shown on our special day. We'd happily recommend the Norfolk for any special celebration. Thank you so much!

We went to the Sunday carvery. The food was fresh and excellently cooked. The roast meats were done to perfection and the homemade desserts were brilliant. The biscoff cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes I have had. 22.00 for two courses. Excellent service and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Pre booked group of 40 enjoyed the marvellous carvery. Choice of meats, range of vegetables and delicious home made sweets. Served very quickly for size of group and very efficient. Not a dry plate in the house. Wouldn’t hesitate booking a group again.

Came here for a Sunday carvery. Choice of three meats plus a vegetarian option. Lots of choice in the variety of fresh vegetables, more than the usual offered in most places. Big portion of meat carved by the chef & help yourself to veg. Good service, friendly & helpful staff & fantastic food at a reasonable price.

Popped in for drinks. Great staff. Very friendly. Had some food while we were there. Very good quality. The locals were also very friendly. Monty was so much fun. Great outside space. Would definitely recommend and if were back in sandgate, we would definitely return. A big thanks to everyone for making our visits enjoyable.

Carvery Sunday lunch. Generous portions. Beautifully cooked beef. Vegetables: large choice all well cooked. Certainly good value for money. Probably one of the best Sunday roasts in the area. Restaurant a tad noisy (that could be down to my age !!) and staff could be a little more engaging, however that said a return visit certainly on the cards.

Just had a Sunday roast here. There was a mix uo with our booking but was promptly sorted out and was then given complimentary drinks as a sorry. The food was amazing. Meat cooked perfectly vegetables were amazing. Not soggy.very clean .amazing staff.will definitely be coming back +++++

We called in for a light lunch. The bar was empty but there were a few people on the small terrace. our sandwiches and drinks were fine, service OK. Nothing special, but did the job and we didn't leave hungry.

Un buen asado con mucha variedad. Hermosa carne tierna y crujiente crujiente. 20 por una cena de 2 platos bien merece la pena. Los entrantes tenían una pinta estupenda pero sólo pudimos con los platos principales y un postre.
