Here with husband. My meal hS come much earlier than his, herby chicken and jacket potato. Potato hard one side so returned it and told nothing they can do that’s how they come!! I suggested putting it back in microwave... anyway luckily the lovely waitress has now ordered a fresh one But...still not properly cooked and chicken is tough! I made a bad choice. Husbands pie and mash very good

Stayed at the nearby, superb Intercontinental O2 hotel and popped back into the O2 for lunch. Garfunkel's hit the spot perfectly, offering a good choice of food (albeit needed to ask for the advertised £9.49 menu). Food arrived relatively quickly and was tasty, enjoyed by all four of us. Not fine dining cuisine, but definitely hits the mark. Great staff too - well done!

Ordered the pie and a medium steak. Pie came with dryed up mash, undercooked carrots that looked worse for wear and a tiny pot of some sort of creamy sauce (menu said jug of gravy). Asked for gravy and they bought us small pot of cold brown sauce. When asked 'Where's the jug' reply was 'we've run out'. Sent back and eventually got small jug of hot brown something. Steak was hard to cut especially more so without a steak knife and mostly fatty. Crap service and food so called for manager and refused to pay for food. Up and left only paying for our drinks which was £9 for bottle of beer and chocolate milk shake. Should be ashamed of your food and service. Never again!!!!!!

We took 14 older Cubs with 5 leaders for lunch on a Sunday. The Kids menu deal though not extensive, was good value and tasty. All came away full up and Happy. The staff were very friendly. This was our 3rd visit.

Dirty, scratched tables and filth inbetween our seats. Also a revolting stench of toilet/drains that left me feeling queasy for hours after we left. Food came out within 10 minutes and was like cardboard, charged for extra cheese on the pizza even though we didn’t ask for it. Bbq chicken wrap was ok. Staff couldn’t care less, they were sat eating their lunch/dinner and ignoring customers. Avoid.

Had the fish and chips and finished the plate, so I guess it was good.. This is a chain Restaurant so it fits the bill if you are looking for a bite to eat without the hassle. Staff was friendly, food came out quick, and prices were fair. I will see I had the special hot chocolate and it was really good.

In the area for an Alter Bridge gig and arrived before the mad rush. Place was filling but not yet packed and a table for 3 was available straight away. Menus presented, given just enough time to scan before waiter back for our order. Mains and drinks ordered. The Cottage Pie @ £12.95 was more potato than meat with some veg on the side. The BBQ Chicken pizza @ £11.95, was ok when you had a piece with chicken, though the sauce was very sweet. I had the Chicken Carbonara £11.95 with the extra Ciabatta £1.95. Nice, more bacon it appeared than chicken but nicely cooked. No Ciabatta in sight and staff getting busy with the rush to grab their attention. Mentioned this when the waiter came back to see if we wanted more drinks, drinks arrived but no Ciabatta. Mentioned again when plates cleared and 2 puddings ordered. When getting the bill, we were informed that the Ciabatta deducted, would think so too. No real apology. As with the O2 Arena, prices aren't inline with the quality of the food.....but then like most gig goers it's too early to eat before you leave for this venue and much too late to eat afterwards...and they know it.

I appreciate this restaurant is in a busy venue and they need a quick turn around time but you never want to eat feeling like you’re being rushed out the door. We got the garlic bread to start which came cold and more like bread with a very thin and sparse layer of garlic butter, then for main I had the chicken ham and leek pie which was utterly soggy and looked and tasted like it had been thrown in a microwave. The mash was also totally dry, and that was after they bought me my pie and mash as pie and fries and took 10 minutes to replace it. If you’re in a rush and everywhere else is full it will put food in your belly but overall wouldn’t recommend, food below average and service pretty bad too.

We were attending a concert at the O2 Arena, so we wanted to dine in so as not lose any time. After several failed attemps (all palces were full) we landed at Garfunkel's. I had already tried another location near Paddington, so I knew the chain already. It serves traditional, hearty British food, and numerous other choices like pizza, pasta, burgers etc. I di want to try some traditional recipe, so I had the cumberland sausages with mashed potatoes, wherease my fried had a burger. We were gladly served fast, as we were in quite a hurry after trying so many other places. My sausages and mash was very tasty, savory, and especially a rich, warm, comfort food, perfect for a cold night and to warm up before the concert, Of course we had no room for dessert! Choice of beer is also good, and bill is OK.

I haven't been to a Garfunkel’s for a long time, but we went here for a quick lunch after shopping in the outlet area. We were seated very quickly, the staff were very attentive and the burgers and fries which we had were filling and tasty. Another plus point was after wandering around the outlet area it was nice and warm so we defrosted :) If I was in the area again I would go back.

La sala (era agibile esclusivamente quella al piano terra) ci è apparsa molto frequentata, nonchè servita da una schiera di cameriere e camerieri all’apparenza piuttosto efficienti. Abbiamo ordinato un English breakfast “classic” (con uova, salsiccia, prosciutto grigliato, pomodoro, fungo grigliato, fagioli, e toast), un “Garfunkel” (con, in più, patate al forno ed alcuni degli ingredienti del “classic” proposti in razione doppia), un “vegetariano”, un piatto con toast, salmone e uova strapazzate, ed un piatto di patate al forno. Abbiamo bevuto birra a spina. Piatti di discreta qualità, proposti in quantità sufficiente; servizio gentile, disponibile e professionale.

Carte intéressante, service efficace, prix convenables, salle agréable. Terrasse disponible. Restaurant traditionnel.

The Garfunkel's at the 02 arena is a good option for lunch among the many restaurants at the venue. The service was fast,the waiter-polite and the quality of food commendable. Certainly one to try again to explore their varied menu options.
