Great choice of menus and very reasonably priced

11 of us visited last week 3 course meals for £7.99 absolutely first class, we have now booked for 23rd of April for25 guys from the Gerihatricks walking football club .

Had lunch here 5 times, staff very friendly and helpful, food can sometimes be hit /miss but on the whole good.

Been going there on & off over the years, selection of food isn't what it was, quality maybe wasn't as good as what it was either. Family still enjoyed their meal.

Food was delicious 😋 the steak pie and chicken pie had loads of meat. Apple and Berry Crumble was really good 👍

Had a meal on Saturday, 2 of the 3 meals had to be sent back as some of the food was cold. This is the 2nd time this has happened to us so was very disappointed also our dirty plates were not removed from the table until we were leaving.very disappointed.

First visit to this place . Food ,service and atmosphere was excellent. Lovely friendly staff and a great price. If your in East Kilbride give it a visit you won't be disappointed

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Booked a table for my brother 's 40th. Ended up being 24 adults and 4 kids. I had to put the numbers up. Stephen and all staff were so helpful and really made the night the best night. Food was fabulous. Atmosphere was awesome. I couldn't recommend more highly.

Normally a nice pub to have dinner and relax. Tonight 16 th November 5.15 pm Quite the opposite. The Noise level was Extremely high Due to Football on All screens. I did mention this at the bar when placing an order and Stated Normally it's not as Loud as this ,The reply was She was asked to Turn it up. Obviously I'm not a Football fan nor is my wife We just wanted a few drinks and a Reasonably quiet meal. This was not meant to be. My wife did speak to the waitress when asked How's your meal , Yvonne replied it's very noisy any chance of Turning things down a little....... Unfortunately this was not done so we decided to leave . To be absolutely honest if Football and Sports appear to be 1 St and Foremost we won't be back. Having said all that Yes the meal was nice.

Avoid Sunday dinner at all costs! Went here with my husband and daughter for Sunday roast, there was no turkey left and told it was chicken, I assumed this would be roast chicken. When food arrived I was shocked at the quality. For 12 quid I didn't expect the highest but what I got was horrendous. A chicken breast which had possibly been cooked in the microwave it was rubbery with a charred grill effect. The roast potatoes were dried out, they must have been under the heat lamp for a week. The waiter knew we weren't happy and offered to eakr potstoes away these were replaced with fries! I cant believe the kitchen cook / staff would allow that standard to be served! I sent the food back and got a refund. The male staff member was amazing and polite, as were all staff. I would avoid this place for food but seemed nice enough for a drink or two.

Lovely food , had the Katsu and it was amazing! Great place for a lunch and thanks to the manager for looking after us , will be back soon

This pub should clearly state that it is a a rangers football club supporting pub before people pay their hard earned money to come here and eat. Me and my family have been subjected to a hostile environment due to this being not stated on your website as a bunch of hooligans made us unable to enjoy our meal and created a disgraceful atmosphere. Will not be back here and utterly disgraced at this pub for allowing this in this day and age. In future clearly state that this is a football bar.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to theGardenhall Inn on Saturday night. Staff were friendly service was good, food was excellent and reasonably priced Great atmosphere for all age groups. Really couldn’t fault it. Booked for Xmas Eve for the family but will have several visits prior to that

We had a fantastic evening at the Gardenhall a couple of months ago. The atmosphere was good and the service was A+. The band that were performing were brilliant. I've been in since,but haven't had the same buzz. I think 🤔 they were called the Tin Men.

Lovely young man served us, The free cup of coffee was a nice gesture as we had to wait slightly longer for our lunch, It wasnt a problem as we had all day.

I’ve just had the perfect cappuccino-really hot & had a lovely taste… accompanied by 2 dinky wee shortbreads-worth a visit just for this! ☕️

Every Monday we go to the Garden Hall Inn. We have our Katsu meal and it's the best we have tasted. We won't go anywhere else, we used to go to Wag-----a, but here is way better.

Had a lovely meal and staff were amazing. Downside is that not all drinks have full ingredients on menu meaning allergy wise its not good but make sure you ask what's in the cocktail mix when ordering x

Cracking wee place. Had the gammon steak (its ok that you burst my egg yolk with a chip) 😂 and it was brilliant. 3 of us enjoyed the food. Wee bit at the back with the pool table is great too 👌🏻

The food is brutal but you get what you pay for. Staff are brilliant and always a good atmosphere.

We were in on Saturday 19th. Was packed out at 7pm but the girl manage to get us a table for food which was really helpful. We were informed that there was abit of a wait on food as the place had took a busy turn. The girl Emma was outstanding and so attentive. The food was good I got the chicken and bacon pie with mash and my partner had the fish and chips. Both spot on. We had heard a new management team was here but didn’t realise how much it’s changed. Thought this was going to be yet another pub that was on a slope after Covid. The band started at 9pm and first few songs were amazing. Sadly we had to leave due to childcare. If we had known our night was going to be good we would have stayed longer. Excellent turn around. Great food! Very Friendly and well mannered staff. Clean and tidy. Had no issues here what so ever! And will be back Good job

Used to quite enjoy it in here, not regularly but it’s a nice enough place. However haven’t been in for a couple of years and it’s just not the standard it was, the food quality has definitely changed. I appreciate it’s just a chain but it was quiet with no atmosphere and the food just wasn’t good. Had chicken wings & lasagne & I just didn’t enjoy it. But it is standard low-grade chain food - not sure what I was expecting. Staff were very nice, very pleasant. It is what it is though!

Shared a family meal. Erin and I think Lisa were excellent servers. Nothing was too much bother. Very helpful. Food was excellent.

Quality of food very mixed. Some really good, but both steaks orders were poor. I made very specific requests regarding meal for one of our party and server was very good and all items arrived on separate dishes. 6 out of 8 meals ordered were good, however we had to send both steaks back. Sirloin was very rare and full of gristle, request was medium-rare. The rump was medium-rare but should have been medium. I think the order was mixed up. When they came back they were both still rare and chewy so took them back a second time. Server asked if we wanted something else since it was a waste if we weren’t happy with the way they were being cooked. If it had been my order I would have opted for something else but those who ordered steak didn’t want anything different. So we asked for one medium and one medium-well thinking maybe they’d come out as originally expected but both came out very well done and tough. I couldn’t face sending them back again as our time was limited so they were left uneaten - quite expensive for what amounted to chips/mash for those 2 meals. Desserts were good although the chocolate ice cream apparently tasted like it had a liqueur in it which would have been okay for some but the 4 year old didn’t like it. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating. Personally, I would go back as there are very few places in EK that offer more than one vegan option. This restaurant had 3 vegan main meal options. If dining with friends though I’d recommend they don’t order steak.

Worst meal ever. Staff were super friendly and helpful, but omg, Sunday afternoon meal was atrocious.... Had never been. Will never go back.

Food good but service bad I had grilled gammon and asked for no peas got plate with peas on it because of my deit I can't have peas but they did take peas off but that's not the piont it wasted my dinning experience will I go back maybe .

I loved my time here, atmosphere was welcoming. Food was tasty. Bar staff were 10/10 especially Kerry who took care of us for the whole evening!

Nice setting, welcoming helpful staff and a good menu. We had a couple of pies, which were well filled and exceeded our expectations. We will be regular visitors

Stopped off with a friend for a quick drink after a dog walk as has a lovely spacious outdoor seating area. Even though we were only buying a soft drink, the service was friendly and helpful. Bar tender was lovely, and brought water outside for our dogs. Will definitely come back

Did not complain on the day as my elderly uncle was treating us to lunch and I did not want to upset him. The food was awful. Three fish and chips which was severely overcooked the fish inside the dark batter was dry and crispy , the chips tasted of old fat and the portion of chips tiny . For £12.99 it was a disgrace .

Had not been here for a while, the food was disappoting, the fish was dry and very over cooked accompanied a small portion of chips, the other food was below standard too. Staff were friendly but it's atmosphere due to order at bar etc so leaves little interaction with staff. Such a shame

Great food and service dissapointed that young people were vaping in the pub. I believe it is green kings policy not to allow vaping in their pubs? It would be better if it was enforced.

Great service and lovely atmosphere. We used a voucher to try out the place and the staff were amazing. Enjoyed the outdoor area also . Will definitely be back .

Not a great meal. I had the mac and cheese which was the worst I had ever tasted and was lukewarm. My friend had the scampi. Whether it was wrongly presented or the chef was feeling stingy, it looked like a kids meal on an adult plate. Dessert was alright. The only saving grace was the cocktails which helped to numb the pain of a pretty unremarkable meal.

Lovely food and great service from Erin, Gary and Rachel. We had a party of 14, pre-booked our dinners and did not wait long once we were all seated. The service was fantastic all 3 servers were attentive, polite, friendly and informative, would definitely return.

Just back from a meal for my birthday. Very disappointed my meal had to be sent back as it was cold., I ordered a dessert after 40mins had not turned up, cancelled it & left. We had dirty plates on our table that was never removed there was empty glasses on most of the tables. Service was nil we had to find our own table that we had booked & everything had to be ordered at the bar we stay 2 minutes away & used to go there regularly but won’t be back & would not recommend it.

Always ate here for probably best part of 20 years… today was the worst food and service in a long time. Lasagne (never eat it anywhere else other than GI) as always disappointed elsewhere!! Today a frozen Iceland would have been better it was inedible...

Really disappointed today . We eat here quite often but after todays meal I dont think we will be going back . They didn't have any fish or gammon so we ended up with 2 steak pie dinners . Meat was not very warm a small portion of mash potatoes ( which was not very nice ) 2 thin broccoli strands. My husband had chips with his. He left quite a few and he didn't have many to start with so , I presume they weren't very nice either. Maybe a new chef ???

I visited with my parents and 2 toddlers for dinner. Unfortunately when we arrived there were no high chairs which we booked so had to get them ourselves and unfortunately they were filthy. We ordered the fish and chips which we had to send back...

Plenty of parking. Outdoor spaces looked great, but not for December! Interior nicely decorated for festive season. Excellent value seniors menu. Very lengthy wait for starters though. When we eventually asked about it - transpired there had been a mix up with a big party’s orders. Staff very apologetic, and otherwise very friendly and efficient. Other courses were served timeously, and were tasty.

Good pub for a drink and an catch up with friends, the food isn't as good as it used to be, but its ok, always seems to be short of staff, which can can seen by the staff available look clearly stressed and busy juggling worloads, seems to becoming more common these days in this business unfortunately.

We had a party of 37 celebrating mum's 80th birthday. the staff on the day were exceptional - Erin, Connor, Matthew, Gary, Ali and Shaun. The food was excellent and the communication was good. Would definitely use again for other occasions.

It’s an absolute joke, £11 for 20 ‘chicken strips’, it was bloody 20 chicken nuggets thrown into a white bowl. You supposedly get sauce, never got any sauce. Place was dead, could see the tumbleweed sweep the floor.

There were 4 of us. Ordered the 5 sharing platters which were amazing and great sizes, very tasty indeed. We then followed with all our main courses, Balmoral burgers, Gammon steak and Hunters Chicken (the big one). All were brilliant and 4 drinks. £75 for all of it, well worth the money, food tastes really good and the portion sizes were huge. Great pub grub and the staff were really nice
