The hotel is beautiful. We went for Sunday brunch on a recommendation from friends for our daughters birthday. We hoped to have a great experience but were disappointed. We had booked for 11.30 but on arrival the restaurant was still being set up. The staff's attention seemed to be elsewhere as we waited a long time for any service of drinks. They did not clear tables, check on us etc. But the most disappointing thing was the food. It was a combination of breakfast food, bacon, sausage, croissant, but then there was prawn cocktail, curry, fish cassoulet, quiche, salad!!! The sweet table was fruit and marshmallows and a chocolate fountain and a few other desserts. Ok for lunch but for breakfast? The idea of a set price is ok but you would be disappointed if you wanted to go there for a late Sunday breakfast and it was rather expensive with little choice if you were going there for a Sunday lunch.

I have dined here a number of times due to staying in this hotel often when working away. The food is presented well and I would say has a fine dining vibe. There's a good choice of starters, meat and fish dishes and the sticky toffee pudding is really good. There are two parts to the restaurant, the downstairs which is a little dull and old fashioned, and the upstairs which is a lot nicer. I've always had great service here from the staff. Last week however I was unpleasantly surprised, when out of the small bit of salad put next to my steak, crawled out a huge caterpillar. Needless to say that that particular evening we went hungry and I'm a little reluctant to dine here again, but here I am again for work!! Dilemma!! This is why I've had to mark the rating down to average. The staff couldn't apologise enough though and offered us free food and drinks that evening (probably leading to too many drinks in the end!!) but we were just put off any food that evening and the following. let's hope this never happens again!

The restaurant badly needs a real make over it is poorly lit and horrible plastic tablecloths which cover good wooden tables. Afternoon tea and dinner were served in the upper deck and food was excellent. Breakfast was a disaster

We were a group of sixteen dining at this restaurant after a day playing golf. We preordered our meal prior to going out to play and planned to eat around 7pm. From start to finish our meals were superb.....delicious, tasty, well presented and hot, and all evening we were served by extremely friendly and efficient staff. First class.

We visited this restaurant as pert of an overnight stay at The Tewksbury Park Hotel. The restaurant itself was very pleasant with a good atmosphere and views, The dinner was good, the starters and desserts were, however, better than the main courses. A good selection of wines but rather over-priced. Service very friendly and efficient. The breakfast was disappointing; the hot food had stood for too long

We stayed at the hotel as it was dog friendly. Went for dinner at the restaurant and had seen the negative reviews so were a little worried. Our experience was fantastic, the staff were great and attentive (especially Alberto), the food was very good and the decor fab. Would rate this place highly just based on that but the way they looked after our dog makes this place truly special. He received a full chicken dinner and had most probably the best night of his life. If you travel with your dog this is the best hotel we have stayed in overall (and we have been all round Europe with him!)

We ate here last night ( Saturday ) with friends as we had heard that it was trying hard. Arrival was quite impressive - the décor is very good and the staff looked the part. However it all then started to go south. We were asked to take a seat and someone would come with menus. That only took 45 minutes ! Drinks were ok - the Butty Bach is well kept if a little cool for my taste. Eventually we got into the restaurant which looked fine and the views over the golf course were impressive. Food however was singularly unimpressive. My fish cakes had a "skin" which was rather unappealing. Some of us had chicken which lacked in flavour, was served with a remarkably thin and tasteless gravy, and was accompanied by the oldest toughest fattest of leeks, the outer layers of which were inedible. My gnocchi were very nice by contrast. Service in the restaurant was cool, with only one young lady seeming to have any idea. We went in part to check out the spa and golf club but when enquiring in reception were met with so many "don't know"s and "not sure"s that we gave up on that. In summary - we won't be going back as there are just so many restaurants in and around the Tewkesbury area which are so much better and much more welcoming. The restaurant as part of the overall hotel experience might sort of get away with it, but on its own - no.

On arriving at the restaurant we asked where the bathroom was and the waitress said she didn't know and that she would ask at reception, closely followed by a second waitress who cheerily told us that they weren't told where the bathrooms were and they kept moving them round the building. I think this was in the context of the refurbishment but this did make the place sound like Hogwarts. We were expecting quirky when we booked the tasting menu (a gift experience from my brother), but although the waitresses were very friendly and accommodating very little went right from that point onwards. The restaurant were completely unaware of the tasting menu arrangement despite this being a special gift experience for two and having received very formal looking confirmation emails. We were offered the normal menu, but eventually after several conversations between us, the waitress, the chef and the manager we were first offered smaller portions of sorbet, starter, main, dessert. I pointed out this was not a taster menu so after further conversation we were told that the chef could pull something together or we could come back another day. As we had booked a babysitter and it was late we decided the safest option was to eat from the normal menu. Minor random things: many of the place settings were laid out backwards with knives on he left, my knife had slime over the blade, my 'Parmesan crust' was actually mature cheddar that tasted exactly like cheese on toast and certainly had no place with scallops, I was given the wrong drink, & my husband's glass of red wine had sediment and some sort of red goo in the bottom that resembled worm casts. The staff were very nice, but this was the first time that we have ever abandoned a meal out to rush home to brush our teeth after the main course.

In the lovely setting of Tewkesbury Park Hotel I held my birthday celebration lunch with family and friends. Problems arose upon arrival, with previously arranged requests such as 'nibbles' prior to the meal, not being adhered to by management. I had gone to considerable lengths to ensure that most requests from guests were catered for on the day, under the guidance of the events' organizer and each guest had chosen from the 5 limited choices' menu weeks beforehand. However, on the day, after the initial small portions of beef meals arrived there was a long delay before anyone else was served. Guests didn't know whether to start eating to avoid food getting cold and in any case the vegetables were not yet on the table. After some time, the vegetarian food arrived, though these were luke warm - these guests too wondered if they should wait until the final meals were served - still no vegetable dishes. After another long wait, some guests had already finished eating, when the salmon meals arrived though still no vegetables. There was confusion by both serving and kitchen preparation staff resulting in an embarrassing and disappointing lunch for my guests and myself. It was inappropriate to complain at the time but in retrospect I should not have settled the bill upon departing but discussed the many shortcomings with the new owners. The venue is beautiful but the catering arrangements leave a lot to be desired and gave the impression that this was the first time the hotel had catered for 26 people! The general manager has since apologised and offered a small refund but from a 4 star hotel, aspiring to be 5 star the whole experience was a shambles. See also other reviews under the heading of "Tewkesbury Restaurants" - Garden Restaurant - this is in fact in the Tewkesbury Park Hotel.

Eightieth birthday lunch on April 2nd 2016. Together with 26 others, I attended the celebration in the newly refurbished cocktail bar and dining room which were tastefully furnished, and which overlooked the golf course. It looked very promising but unfortunately all was not well when we sat down for the meal, with many delays by serving staff of the pre-ordered main courses, resulting in the majority being either luke warm or cold. There were few vegetables on each plate and guests waited for requested additional supplies to be brought to the table - more delays. There must have been big problems in the kitchen organization but surely a hotel of this size should be able to produce 26 hot meals when the kitchen is only yards away from the dining room? I believe there were further issues with the charges for wine and children's meals, though the General Manager has written apologies for the acknowledged problems and has offered a 'goodwill gesture'. The expectation of meeting relatives and friends in the lovely surroundings was spoiled by the lax service and standard of the lunch, and it seems that the new management are not yet in a position to cater for parties of this size.

This would have to be the worst restaurant we've ever been to as far as service goes. The food was average, but we had to wait so long to be attended to. No used wine glasses were removed from the table during the 3 hours we were there. After mains, we asked if we could have a look at the dessert menu. We waited half an hour for the menu, then waited another half an hour before getting a waiter's attention so that we could order dessert. He was unable to take the order and disappeared! Ten minutes later a young girl arrived to take the order. The whole service system seemed to be a shambles and very disorganised. Would never eat here again.

We have eaten at many top class Michelin restaurants and the food and service here were exceptional value for money in our opinion. My husband and i enjoyed a lovely celebratory evening.Chosen for its superb location overlooking the Gloucestershire county side. The meal was delicious with a small but very well thought through wine list.We look forward to returning in the summer, sitting out on the terrace patio and more of Tewkesbury Park, its staff and the excellent service this bushiness has to offer...

I actually enjoyed my evening meal in the Garden Restaurant. The menu is very dated but it was actually well cooked. The service was efficient and polite. Unfortunately as there were only 5 of us in total the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Could do with updating, food and decor.

All three courses were delicious, and the staff were really helpful. Dinner was included with our accommodation, but were were really pleased we could stay for dinner rather than going out anywhere else. Prices for starters and desserts looked reasonable, the main courses were a little high but this might be on par with other restaurants in the area.

One of the better rooms at Tewkesbury Park Hotel. A little dated. Tables are a bit close together so you can't have private conversations. Food was ok.

This review for Badham Pharmacy at Aspen medical centre. Really needs to train staff. I would give O star as staffs were V v rude. There were two young ladies in front, one with light blue frame glasses and another one with silver nose pin, they were shouting to me for no reason even I did not ask how long I need to wait for prescription, I was just in queue and was noticing them their work and they were showing much attitude to customers and were arrogant. I had two another customers waiting in queue for prescription and Badham Pharmacy staff were taunting me by looking at me that we will have to wait as people are going to McDonald's and KFC they obviously wait for half an hour so they will wait here as well. Even though my prescription basket was ready, I was looking that for appox 15 minutes and she was not giving to me. When I remind her basket is ready and it is there she said you have to wait as I am busy with another things. Why????? Even if, it is in front of customers how long it will take to give customers. They made me wait for so long. Such a ridiculous ladies. No manners to behave with customers. If doctor hadn't sent my prescription there I would have never go this Badham Pharmacy. Moreover she was expecting thank you from me, when i didn't thank her she was shouted " excuse me say thank you " Thank you my foot to such staff.
