Chicken bhuna had no flavour dips were good

Great Indian. Reasonable price for nowadays. Food was lovely and service was good. Can’t ask for much more. Use the car park over the road as it’s free after 6pm

Food was nice and service was great.Interesting maps on the wall of India.The food was reasonably priced but really nice and tasty.The only downside is there wasn't a car park outside,I had to use the pay and display.As it was after 6 it was free but just to let you know.

Fabulous food as always, we usually have takeaway but after having a sit down meal with friends, will definitely be coming down more often. The service was quick and all the food arrived at the same time, quite a feat as there was 10 of us.

Curry’s were either fairly watery and tasted different or lacked flavour and consistency. Bombay potato’s and popadoms were good.

Was a quiet Easter Monday at the restaurant but we had a fabulous meal. Service impeccable and the food delicious. Some lovely different dishes on the menu to choose from!

missing parts of my order. I called and they said they was too busy. 2nd time now. Not acceptable

Starters came out far too quickly - we had barely had time to eat one mouthful of poppadum. Main meals were average – lamb was tough to eat, butter chicken was all sauce and very little chicken – Naan was nice and lovely salads. Service was ok initially, but declined significantly as restaurant got busy. We had 4 beers, 1 ginger ale, I white wine spritzer (£7.95!) 1 lemonade and 3 coffees. Total bill was £162 for 4 people which is the same as we had previously paid for a top-notch 3-course meal at a local establishment on Valentine’s Day with 1 glass of wine and coffee included. Service charge had been added but was not mentioned until we queried the bill later. We have supported this restaurant over many years, but we won’t be going again!

Never received our takeout,phoned restaurant,said they are so busy order on its way,still waiting,complete shambles,want a refund,will never order again, Can’t get a Refund from Just Eat for 7 Days now if I get one at all.Avoid……Avoid……Avoid……

The food is usually amazing. Tonight it was awful. No taste with all meals. I spend over £60 this isnt acceptable. I will call them tomorrow

Early delivery is fine,order a chicken Bhuna,Dreadful,no taste,no heat,I’ve had many bhuna’s and this was bad.they think you don’t know curry but trust me I do.it was Never a bhuna.

Quite simply the best Indian meal Ive ever had. Stunningly well cooked. Great flavours and the service was excellent. You when something is so good that you are genuinely surprised. Brilliant.

What a FANTASTIC place!!!!!! Food was absolutly beautiful lovely tender meat and rich flavours to the food! This restraunt has such a warm atmosphere to it! The staff are very nice and kind really felt as though we were looked after and taken care of! They even made sure I wasn't waiting out side in the cold for a cab and made sure I was ok with my journey home as it was cold dark and raining! Lovely genuine people 10/10 WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND!!!!!!

Never leave reviews but this is the best Indian I’ve had in a very long time! Initially forgot our onion bhajis but sent them out quick and gave us some extras Aswell. Food was delicious! X

Food was cold, some bits just too cold to eat so went in the bin. The order was very late, and the Restaurant seemed unaware of the order when I called and even hung up when I was trying to chase??. Really not good guys you dropped the ball on this order not your usual service. More than fair review as a result. Restaurant issues not delivery.

Not fresh curry even lamb or chicken BUT they used fresh ingredient like coriander, green chili, onion to make it fresh cooked ..i cant recommend to waste your hard earned money ,manager took the food but same taste ....i m really disappointed ,never eat food like this

First time we have ordered from them in and have to say the food was of excellent quality, the ingredients very very good and high quality and it tasted so good. If felt like it was cooked with love and care - thank you very much you are now our choice of Indian food locally - we had the Beef Royal Jairpuri with lots of extras and it was very very good - so thank you. Food arrived hot and early as well.

Surprised no 'free' items considering amount spent, our local home takeaways would have included extras as in incentive to re-order and use them again....

This food is so so so delicious. Best Indian i have ever tasted by far and really really well priced keeps me coming back for more. The delivery is always a bit late, BUT the food is so darned tasty it's ok and they alway throw in free poppadoms and this time even a Naan, so we are all good. Thumbs up Gandhi, keep doing what you are doing.

Delivered 20 mins early but missing 25% of my order! I would have rather it was delivered complete and on time!

We had a lovely meal here as a group of 3 adults and 1 child. Food was fresh and very tasty and the meat was super soft. Would definitely return again.

First time I've ordered from this restaurant for a few years as it's a more expensive takeaway option for us. The ordering was easy and delivery fast. Food was very tasty especially the Peshwari naan which was delicious. Only negative is that the korma sauce was not as hot as the chicken itself and my partner said he found the chicken in his masala was a little tough. Plus we would have liked two bhajees each but the portion consists of three and we did not want to order six bhajees. Overall it was enjoyable and we would order again but try something different next time.

Not our first meal from here and they are usually pretty good. Food tonight was disappointing. Sauces were unusually thin and overly wet, with watery fringes on the plate. Not a good night tonight and as a curry is increasingly a rare treat these days I'm not inclined to risk a poor meal again,

They didn't give us chutneys we had paid for, otherwise it was good.

Have been a couple of times now Great food, friendly service and atmosphere. Had veg Madras, Lamb Biryani and Keema Nan was washed down with Cobra. Only issue was having to listen to delivery drivers personal phone call on our second visit

Always order from the Gandhi, we especially love their chips! The food is always hot and delicious, have never had one complaint and have been ordering from here for several years. First choice every time.

All websites show only takeaway menus and cannot see the restaurant menu anywhere. You are losing bookings. I am going to The Bengal now. Come in guys, get a decent website.

The biryani never came with a curry is this normal for that type of biryani?

Worst curry we have ever had!!! It was disgusting - chicken tikka masala like water. You could see the tikka spice swimming around in the water. We binned it all. Avoid!!! Use the Spice instead on the Island - much better!!

Everything was great food wise but need to get delivery updates more accurate I got a notification that my food was on the way and I had almost finished it.

Food arrived 15min early despite mentioning delivery time in the app followed up by a telephone call where they confirmed it'd arrive at requested time. Aubergines were floating in oil, chickpeas had no taste whatsoever, naan had no filling just thick flour, biryani tasted like bad quality rice mixed with chicken curry. Not sure how they managed so many positive reviews, but then Trump stayed in the White House too

Poppadoms where awfull the tika tasted like soup tomato , the bombay pot were lovely just swimming in oil , the rice and naan bread best bit but u can't get them wrong lol

Quiet Wednesday night meal for my husbands birthday. Service was first class very friendly and attentive. You could tell the food was freshly cooked and of high quality. Great meal.

They missed food of my order. When I call to ask for a refund the said they could only send one out now or give me a free one next time. But I just had he's word that I would get it. Very unhappy as I did want the delivery driver to have to out again.

Popadoms wee stale, but they were free so can’t really complain. Food was tasty but really no spice or heat at all. Goan prawns, hot chillies? Got special fried rice instead of mushroom rice but don’t mind that. Good but lacking the spice and heat I expected.

The best Indian food on the island. Good atmosphere, attractive decor and excellent food. We've taken lots of visitors there. We went on a Monday evening and were the only ones there so had a personal service.
