Gandhi Takeaway in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

The order was supposed to be 45-50mins, it took two hours! Cold on arrival, and tasteless. I appreciate we are on the edge of the delivery area, but don’t deliver this far out of you can’t keep the food warm for the duration of the delivery. Won’t be ordering again.

Waited 3 hours for a curry which arrived too late at night to want to eat. They only delivered it after we rang them so wonder if it would have arrived at all if we hadn't? These people really need to be honest with customers if they are over run with orders and offer the chance to refund and go elsewhere, or stop taking new orders. They didn't even put in a free poppadom for our disappointments!!! Will have to go elsewhere now which is a shame because the food is always excellent.

Food hasn’t turned up no way to cancel just eat

No scores terrible service never had my order when i was told it was on its way ordered from here many of times , spoke to them tonight aswell told me it was on its way , not here , not good enough ghandi as we use you alot

Our order was absolutely divine . Highly recommend.. so much meat , with such depth, fresh sauce.. very balanced... bread, sundries and dips so fresh. Thank you

Food came 2.5 hours after ordering despite delivery time being stated as 40-55 minutes. Food was hot on arrival but not worth the wait

Food is so bad I can’t eat anything and we order tandoori roti and they gave us simple we paid 1 pound extra for tandoori roti and chili chicken has too much soya sauce in it

Fantastic food and quick delivery

Noodles were too salty to eat, curry was ok.

ordered the curry, just before 6pm. it finally arrived at 8.40pm, well over an hour and a half late. It also so late, the poppadoms were no longer crispy and all the food as cold.

Food was late, cold, and unusually tasteless. We have ordered from here before but I doubt we will again. The bhajis tasted stale too. Overall very disappointing tonight

The chilli paneer from here has become my favourite food in the world! I can’t stress enough how much flavour is in those little balls of perfection. I’ve never been disappointed by any of the meals here, every dish is delicious - but I highly recommend the chilli paneer in particular!

Despite the fact the food was quite late it was excellent quality, hot, well prepared, and great quantities. We will be ordering again.

Do not order delivery!!! OMG - so late, so many lies, delivery guy couldn’t find his way out of a paper bag. Oh and food was BLAND. Might have been better at least warm Just don’t do it.

Tandoori chicken very over cooked to the point it was inedible and extremely burnt. Samosa undercooked. Mint yogurt missing from order. Very disappointed. On holiday so took a chance but wouldn’t order from again.

Stayed in a very remote cottage but still delivered hot and within a reasonable time. Food was good and decent portions.

Second time ordering and the last, food was dry like it had been hanging around for some time breads uncooked and had so much chilly powder sprinkled on them it was inedible and bitter, would not recommend to anyone £47.55

I ordered before 7pm, it was only just delivered at 21.40. I called the restaurant numerous times and was told ‘it will only be a few minutes’ each time. Disgusting. And no way to contact Just Eat to cancel the order for a full refund either!!!

Not bad. The food arrived late and it was a bit cooler than I hoped. My choice of meals was different from what we normally have from our regular, the Marahaja. I was hoping to find a better place to order from for special occasions. The meal for two we had was uninspiring. Unfortunately the jury's out for the moment. I'll try again in the future but don't feel confident enough to trust with a large order to impress and delight our friends. Sorry.

Ordered whilst on holiday in St Mawes, which isn’t easy to get to, and this is the first time in years we’ve managed to get a delivery. It was slightly later than expected but the driver was great and stayed in touch with updates so no real complaints there. We ordered for 12 people and everyone was happy!

Booked our takeaway meal through Just Eat on Monday 8th July to be delivered to St Mawes. We ordered food for 14 people which included Chicken tikka, lamb bhuna, chicken korma, butter chicken, chicken madras, chicken pasanda, chicken tikka masala, nan breads & rice. Delivery arrived within specified time. Thanks to the driver for keeping us posted on route! We all enjoyed our meal & will definitely be ordering from Ghandi next time we’re in Cornwall 😊

Ordered few items for takeout last week and the person handing the food over was nice and gave a £2 discount as well. We were like ooh how nice, only to go home and open the noodles, saltiest food I've ever tasted lol. They probably somehow managed to pour full bottle soya sauce and don't want it to go waste, so sold it us anyway. Needless to say, we didn't have any food near by at our holiday place and had to manage between ourselves.

The best lamb curry I’ve ever had. Absolutely packed with delicious tender lamb with a fabulous spice and not too salty. Would thoroughly recommend !!

It wasn’t the fact that it was a little late, it was more that he was obnoxious and that the food was cold, I believe that he kept the food in a wet sock. Not impressed with the delivery.

So being local but on holiday I found this food terrible. The onion bhaji was good same with the bombay potatoes and naan bread but the 2 curries were terrible. They were both very watery and tasteless. Ended up only have 2 bitefuls and throwing it in the bin and throwing a pizza in the oven instead

I didn't realise this is based in truro so was shocked to find it was actually delivered to us in Newquay and the food was still hot. tasted a amazing, nicest we have had in a long time. Just felt bad for the delivery driver having to come all the way to Newquay. very grateful thank you.

Worst noodles and samosa chat. Noodles and vegetables were burnt. Weird taste and binned the food.

OK...St Mawes is a long way from Truro, so I can't really complain that it was a bit late! The enormous portion size more than made up for it though! There is, at least, enough for a second meal! I would happily recommend the takeaway from this restaurant.

Placed an order on line , food never arrived told that driver couldn’t deliver and we would have to collect . Asked for refund and told to phone another number which isn’t open until Monday 9am . Poor to say the least . No food and now no money to buy more !!!!! Plus we have had deliveries off them many times before .

FANTASTIC. The quality was amazing and every dish was tasty. They went the extra mile (literally) to get it to us.

The noodles were over cooked, very high on soya/vinegar and extremely salty. I tried getting the refund from the restaurant but the effort was futile.. would not recommend this restaurant to anyone

Unfortunately our treatnight didn't start well ordering from here. The food was over two hours late, with lots of missed communication. Food was supposed to arrive at 6.40pm but we didn't get this until 8.45pm. The food itself wasn't the best. Burnt Naan bread and watery curry. Very disappointed with the overall experience 😕

Quality of food has dropped. Biryani unflavourful, hardly any chicken in ‘chicken lollipop’, mostly flour!

Absolutely amazing food. Faultless. Slight snag of a portion of chips missing, refunded straight away though. Would highly recommend
