Galos in Plymouth

I ordered for delivery. When my food came it was all cold. The chips were hard and inedible even after being warmed in the oven. The onion rings were soggy. The meat on the burger was ok although cold. The bun was soggy. It was all very sad. I thought eating in might be better but after seeing other reviews I will pass.

We have been using galos since it opened, we have it quite regularly and can honestly say we’ve never had a bad meal nor had to wait longer than stated. The food is always great and the delivery drivers are always friendly.

Waited over 2 hours for delivery and when it turned up was stone cold. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Me and my son just finished watching a movie at vue , so we decided to go to galos for some food to take home, and when tried to place an order both young persons were very offensive and rude when we asked for fry chicken and wings, all they had to say was, my fryer is off now and I can cook your order.. so so disappointed and we will never go back there again. The least this company has to do is offer a training course to their staff on how to speak to their customers.

Fantastic chicken very tasty and completely worth the money, taking fried chicken to a different level, Kfc who?? Only problem is they can’t seem to get orders right !

Well I just ordered a home delivery.says free delivery to my area when spent £12.00. I live two streets away. The chicken family platter was £11.99 and the bottle of Pepsi £2.49. She told me it came too £16.48. So that's seems like I'm charged delivery. I rang up to question this and she says it states that it is £2.00 delivery charge and that the fact that it says no delivery charge over £12 seemed to go over her head. She was very cheeky and rude when I phoned back again to cancel. So thats my customer service experience. The chicken itself was a mix of boney portions with a couple which were edible. This being from a previous order the week before. I certainly do not expect such rudeness and will not be a returning customer.

1990s crystal maze themed chicken shop. Right I’ve got a confused menu and some people asking me questions abit food I’ve already ordered once🤔 ( where’s the Crystal?)(where’s the crystal?) The large menu that came through the door looked promising, amazing in fact! Then you go in shop?! The menu is very confusing and staff are just as baffling?! I was going to spend about £40 in here but ended up going kfc down the road. I was going to have to wait 8 mins for fried chicken then if I remember another 11 minutes after for wings r?! Owner needs to go kfc and see their menu copy a little and buy some more fryers !

Great food highly recommended. We had the fried chicken and the piri piri wings. Everything was first class will definitely order again.😋

Last minute decision mid-evening amidst prolonged torrential rain. Menu on Galos website not accessible so looked on JustEat. Delivery was at least on hour so we collected after about twenty minutes. They were just bagging up when we came in spot on time. We had a large double cheese burger and a good sized chicken mango surprise. Beef tasty and filling, The chicken was like a dissembled kebab, tasty but difficult to eat tidily without a plate. For some reason we also had hummus with bread which was incidental but OK. Good experience. Would use again? Only quietly irked that they didn’t put a menu in the bag. It’s always useful to have one in the kitchen drawer when the mood takes.

Just opened. Good selection of grilled food, mostly chicken but other stuff too. Quick, helpful staff and competitive pricing.

Just opened in July. Peri Peri chicken place but also eg veggie stuff and beef or lamb gourmet burgers. Average but fairly competitive pricing. Smartly done out. Plenty of staff and some in your face grills. High bench tables installed but at present it all takeaway or delivery. The maxims are ‘feeling it flamed’ and ‘the authentic flaming taste’. Most of the chicken and the single burgers are £4.49 but a wide variety and deals sensibly priced. The place has a good feel.
