Attended Italian evening with several friends, pricey but included quiz and live music. Menu limited, no fish choice. Couldn’t hear the one person band, fortunately. Quiz consisted of two sheets of paper. Starter was nice, mushroom risotto stodgy, looked more like rice pudding than risotto, tiramisu tasteless. Others had lasagne which looked overcooked and dry. Several people in the restaurant sent tiramisu back hardly touched. Staff said nothing when collecting plates. When we complained the manager was dismissive and said the tiramisu was fine, no apology or anything. Two of us had the risotto though friend did not eat much of hers. We were both poorly during the night.

I attended their Italian evening with high expectations. The service was initially good, but the food was so disappointing. My starter was fine, main course of lasagne had been overcooked. Resulting in a very dry dish, containing a lot of pasta, very little beef and stodgy sauce. I barely touched it. Everyone in my party and other diners had the same experience. My dessert of tirimisu served in a cocktail glass, was tasteless apart from the very bottom. The top was layered with cocoa powder rather than sprinkled which caused me and others to cough. I believe rather than using mascarpone, crème was used. There didn’t appear to be any sponge fingers. But what was worse was that when one of our party complained the staff dismissed our comments. The amount of uneaten food returned to the kitchen was proof enough.

Popped into this nice cafe on Saturday, feeling thirsty. Lovely service from friendly staff. The loose leaf tea selection was a delight for someone who is an avid tea drinker. I chose Darjeeling. It was served in a lovely china teapot with a warmed china tea cup and saucer plus even a warmed lid for the loose leaf paper bag. There was even a timer! Joy!

I've been here twice this week after my former favourite café changed hands. It's my new favourite place to meet friends. Poached eggs especially good and lovely staff. My one criticism is how they constantly addressed us as 'guys' ... form of address rather casual and out-of-place in this environment.

My favorite cafe to go for lunch as it’s very relaxed. The menu changes throughout the year which is nice and keeps me going back. A good selection of cakes and the best coffee in town. Relaxed atmosphere and it’s nice to see all of the art by local artists. Staff are always polite and welcoming.

My husband and I popped in for a late lunch and were delighted with the food and service, if only more places were like this. Our waitress was a charming, helpful young lady and our food and drinks were most enjoyable. Good quality Earl Grey in a proper pot served with a lovely thin China cup and saucer, lovely teaspoon and even a little cover on the cup to keep the tea warm and an egg timer to remind you when your brew was ready, all these little things make such a difference! The food was also very good. I would certainly recommend and will definitely be back. Well done all.

Gallery No 30 recently hosted a birthday tea to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday and we could not have been more pleased. The gallery is warm and welcoming, Nadine and her team could not do enough to make the afternoon memorable and the food was exquisite. From the mouth watering pavlova to the scrummy (and very moreish) sausage rolls everything was perfect. Everyone who attended commented on how lovely everything was and Nadine's hosting skills are second to none. This is definitely the place to go for a lunch, morning coffee, afternoon tea or for a special occasion. I am definitely going to be a regular visitor.

Nice place.. But why present the newly arrived customer with a set of rules and take a holding deposit of £100 and then pay as you go fir drinks even with this deposit. Not sure I would describe atafd as friendly.. A business and that was it. Mean offering coffee bag with hot water as your coffee. If you wanted coffee an adittional charge with "continental breakfast" Anything else was paid for. Shame nicely done out

Genuinely really poor quality. If you've ever eaten anywhere outside of Waterlooville, it's immediately obvious how subpar the food and drink here are. We tried a variety of dishes, including the stuffed peppers - which were clearly straight out of a jar - dry chicken tenders, overcooked and chewy steak, and a brownie that, given the price, was dry and bland with some really nasty budget flavourless ice cream. It wouldn't hurt them to invest a bit more in quality ingredients. Finally: do not order the wine. This is where Four London Road has really cut corners—and that's saying something. This might be great if you're on 18 and you've never eaten out before, otherwise the price is scandalous given the quality.

We are visiting the the area for the bank holiday weekend, picked out this pub and it did not disappoint. Great location, with beautiful scenery where you can sit relax and enjoy a cold drink. Food was amazing, waitress was knowledgable and explained the dishes brilliantly! Cooked to perfection and both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Great spot to visit.

Very lovely food and customer service. A very much shame that the staff refuse to have public WiFi as there's no reception whatsoever there
