Gallego's in Thanet

Just saw a profile of the owner on TV; he was one of the postmasters wrongly accused of wrongdoing and imprisoned. I haven't eat here yet, but I certainly will when I am next in Ramsgate, not only for the food - which sounds wonderful from most reviews - but also because I want this man and his family to be a success after all they have been through. The worst international chicken burger £4.99 so called breast chicken it was disgusting, just had a bite of it feeling sick never again I will not recommend it 🤮

I used to love this place was best food best staff but the new staff are terrible, completely unqualified and even locked me out of the restaurant in the rain for 5 minutes while he went down stairs need new staff ASAP

horrible, took nearly 2 hours to arrive (we are down the road) everyones dinner was cold, my chicken strips were like rubber. nasty to eat, lied about “leaving 20 minutes ago” when we are 4 minutes away!!!

Came here on holidays and tried the German kebab it's single handedly been the best kebab I've ever eaten very good I recommend this next time you are here

Absolutely terrible service took £18 pound out my account and canceled the order made me go through foodhub to get refund which takes 5 days never going here again and the person that took the call need some manners shocking no service

A very good place for Srilankan Style food. They have Pizza and Burgers too. The staff are helpful and happy to help anytime. I would highly recommend them.

Had my lovely peri peri chicken and doner wrap take away and really enjoyed. Everything was tasty, descent portion and reasonable price. Very nice staff, choice of drinks incl. beer and more

This place never fails to please. They're well known for their chicken which looks amazingly good every time I come in. Their lunchtime deals are to die for as it's so good for value. I usually have their pizza which is how I like it! Cheap and cheerful! Ther selection of drinks is so great you name it they prob have it!!! Staff are kind and helpful the lady behind the til was funny and chatty when I am but she doesn't talk when you clearly want some peace and quiet. I'd recommend for sure!

I went there once to try their German kebab, after going to another place and being really surprised of the complimenting flavours, however, other than the non-oily meat, it's just another regular kebab I'd rather go here than other kebab shops, but they are no match for the genuine article It's ok, but needs a boost in flavour to really stand out

Use to be my best place to order even my son loved it there from few weeks their service got so bad. They are forgetting half of order, taking over hour to deliver. I got quite bad. Don't recommend ordering from them.

Mrs went down to shop just now and wanted a boneless box and wanted to get two pieces of chicken. The man at the counter refused her the chicken pieces because "they will take too long to cook" 😂 she was then enticed into buying hot wings with it. She got it home. It's just chicken that's obviously been sat there for god knows how long. It was cold, rock hard and tough to chew on. It just tastes of oil. Absolutely disgusting from service to home. It's always been good in there when I've ordered. There must just be a couple incompetent employees.

I brought the boneless chicken, chicken wings and kibbling. Food was delicious, could not fault it. Great value too, had far too much for my son and myself to eat. 😁

I heard about this place was serving German kebab so had to try it and oh yes they are amazing I tried chicken first then 2 days later went back and had beef both tasted amazing although the shop was extremely busy and was not coping with the volume of orders as my chips were cold but was given extra hot wings on my first visit the second time the guy remembered me asked how I was doing and how he was pleased I enjoyed their food He was very pleasant and friendly I can’t wait to try the mixed meat one tomorrow 😂

Absolutely disgusting, definitely not recommend this to anyone. Dirty staff dirty food and pink chicken avoid if you don't want to be poisoned

Phoned to order. Lady answered first who was very helpful with a question we had first before we ordered. We then Phoned back and a gentleman told us no pizzas today. He made ordering very difficult. I asked for certain burgers and he was confused, when I said this is difficult, he said no understand and put the phone down on me!
