I popped in here while I waited for my car to be serviced nearby. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly and I don’t quite understand the terrible reviews on here and on google. I had a free hot drink voucher to use and so I ordered a cappuccino plus a croissant and also a seasonal pecan and maple scone. The coffee was beautifully made and the croissant as expected - tasty but the scone: oh wow the scone - it was absolutely divine. The texture itself was perfectly balanced in sweetness with an abundance of pecans within and topped with the most delicious maple icing. It was utterly divine. It is probably my new favourite thing to have - hopefully it won’t be gone in one month. I also love this branch because they have a plethora of free treats available on offer near the till - today it was 2 different breads, a hazelnut and chocolate bun and some kale soup with crouton! I will certainly come again.

Relaxed atmosphere. Excellent choice of baked goods and staff were super friendly. Used as a meeting location for She Strides running group. Fully supported by Gail’s.

My first visit to Gail’s in Fleet, but I have visited the Farnham branch, so was expecting a similar experience. Lovely airy space, but very disappointing lukewarm coffee.

Second visit to Gail’s Bakery for a cuppa and still Grubby and worse than the first time! Not exactly busy, lots of staff and not a single table cleared to sit at or clean! I hate that at the end of the day the same cakes are on display and are then dry, why did I buy one! Hot chocolate was warm rather than hot and tasted disgusting so I took it back and swapped for a cup of tea which was nice. It’s expensive in Gali’s and really not worth. Much better independent coffee shops in Fleet. I WON’T be going to Gail’s again.

Always amazing friendly staff and fantastic coffee, bread and pastries. This cafe is our favourite “go to” place and always delivers on quality, service, cleanliness and value.

Grubby experience. Tables, cutlery and staff not particularly clean. The tap water point was filthy. The food was good but the experience wasn't.

I love Gail’s bakery and while in Fleet earlier, I decided to grab a cappuccino and a croissant. The coffee was lovely but the croissant was quite doughy and dry which was odd. I’ve had wonderfully flaky and buttery croissants in their other branches and so was rather disappointed. I also grabbed a few takeaway bits - an apple and sesame butter cake and an almond croissant. The cake was lovely but the almond croissant was dry and lacked any almond filling on the inside. It was obviously not the day for croissants in Fleet. This is still a great bakery with very friendly and helpful staff.

Stopped off here for coffee on a visit to see the family. Last time I was here it hadn’t opened. I know it’s a chain, but it doesn’t feel I like one, and is so much better than Costa and Starbucks which feel pretty soulless. I recommend a macchiato and a couple of soho buns. Yum!

Went into Gail's for breakfast fare. Bought a cheese and ham croissant and sausage roll. The were quality products with quality ingredients. Satisfied my partner and I from our breakfast cravings. We would certainly use again if in the area.

Not your average kebab shop! Quality ingredients and freshly made sauces. Not stuff out of a bottle! The doner meat actually tastes like meat, as opposed to the strips of shaved seasoned plastic from your average kebab van! This is definitely a venue for the more discerning diner and not just a quick fix after 10 pints at the Wetherspoons 😜 The proof in that is seeing sober customers of all ages coming for dinner with their families. I would reccomend to all 🥙 😋

Decent enough fish but the guy at the till (might’ve been new) was non-communicative, unresponsive to basic “hello”, didn’t offer salt & vinegar (didn’t care about mushy peas but wasn’t offered that either) and the place wasn’t a good atmosphere. I won’t rush back considering it’s not cheap for what it is. Cheers

Perfect spot for lunch and drinks. Had fish and chips, top class. Sunday roast was also good, never been disappointed with lamb. Recommend!

Mid, at best. Very small portions at a high cost. Vegetables were stale on some dishes. Waiting staff were attentive but we had to ask where our food and drinks were multiple times (our drinks were on the bar for 20 minutes). The highly regarded sundaes were mostly melted by the time they arrived at the table.
