¡No regresaré pronto!

Recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed. As there were 5 of us we managed to sample a fair selection of the recently updated menu - highlights being the wok fried greens, fried chicken with Sichuan hot sauce, nasi goreng, sambal with pickled pineapple, and the Malaysian style curries. Hard to understand how you can pack so much flavour into one pear for the desert! Some amazing flavours in there and helpful pointers from the staff on the dishes. Great vibe and great food.

We had a family meal at GaGa and the food was amazing and delicious. One of our party has allergies and they were so well catered for. They have a list of the allergens in each dish and whether it can be adapted. The staff and chefs were super careful checking everything out. The cocktails were delicious and all the staff were awesome, so friendly and attentive. Thank you for such a great evening.

Blimey. We'd first seen Julie Lin's work on Hairy Bikers, then - when she appeared on Somebody Feed Phil and we realised we were going to be near Glasgow we knew the stars had aligned, fate had smiled upon us, karma had decided to stop giving us a kicking. We booked in. And all of those fates, stars, karma, destiny, providence, good fortune, kismet, serendipity and indeed, divine will - or at least Julie Lin's team - threw on a spread for the three of us. We ate, grinning like school kids, as the prawn toast, crispy potatoes and sweetcorn fritters arrived - the sauce under the toasts was a blast. Then the chicken, the massive prawns and the monkfish - all amazing, all popping off like celestial fireworks in our mouths - the sheer vibrancy and range of textures and tastes was huge. Then the seabass, lamb and the nasi goreng. Incredible. That sour sauce on the flaky fish, the lamb in a deep creamy stew, the savoury rice. We agreed that every single dish was a hit, and, all three of us being enormous geeks, ranked every single thing we ate - the prawn toast came (just) on top. I loved the Kopi Cham too - I will be trying to recreate that incredible gingery coffee at home. And, for the three of us with non-alcoholic drinks, it only came to a measly £130 - the value for money is incredible. Kudos to the staff too, who were friendly, informative and attentive. Well done all of you, this place deserves mega success.

Service generally slow and not super-friendly. Felt like we had to chase up staff for drinks and the bill. Food was disappointing - flavours bland in some dishes and others were over salted and greasy. Food comes out when it's ready which is fair enough but the rice came really late which didn't make much sense. Felt underwhelmed overall and friends have said similar - probably wouldn't return unless I heard things had improved.

Wonderful tasty food, a highlight of our trip to Glasgow. We enjoyed the lamb, the monkfish skewers, the nasi goreng, prawns and crispy potatoes. We shared a poached pear for dessert and enjoyed a lovely cocktail. We hope to visit again soon 😋

Cocktails great however the slow service and bland food let the experience down. Has potential but was let down by the flavour and attention to detail by the staff.

Very expensive for very small plates, which suggests taking mickey out of customers. Courses also came out slowly one by one so eating main course before accompanies and friends dinner arrived. Lovely atmosphere but not worth it and won't return.

The four of us had a really good meal here and we'd certainly go back Popular, TT would probably recommend booking at peak times .We ate a wide selection from the quite short but very varied menu. You order a bit of a selection and it appears as soon as its ready rather than course by course...don't overorder as you can always order more. TT sampled a cocktail called Chumpumker to start ...Mrs TT had an Old Fashion ( not Fashioned for some reason)...then we had some lovely Edelzwicker Alsace white blend ( a first in a restaurant for me....this is a quite rare style not produced by many )..very good and wholeheartedly recommended. Foodwise the prices kind of guide you on the portion sizes..£8 or so indicates a smaller plate..£14/15 a larger serving..fish as always a but dearer. Particularly liked I think were Nasi Goreng, corn fritters, prawn toast, fried chicken ( nippy !), lamb curry. Ha ha..in fact all good! Service was effective, easy going, and very helpful with menu questions. Too busy talking to remember to take any pics but the dishes look as good as they taste. Just one to watch..if you don't like backless benches ( TT finds these uncomfortable).. beware they do have them ( one I saw anyway !)

A delicious meal. Perfect for a special date night. Drinks were super yummy and fried chicken and nasi gorang were standouts. Only thing we could have left was the cucumber.

Disappointing. Average food, some odd combinations like fish and mushrooms. Flavours underwhelming. Nothing stood out although the aubergine was the best dish. Food came as ready, which is fine and a familiar concept, but odd to bring fried potatoes first and boiled rice last, over 20 minutes. Deserts particularly underwhelming and the price of the creme brulee, which was a milky, creamy puddle, was removed from the bill. Variable service: a polite efficient man and a surly, clearly having a bad night woman. A pleasant vibe in the restaurant and nice drinks. We are unlikely to return.

Four of us for a birthday dinner 29 December. Son had been before so selected 9 dishes. The curry potatoes were excellent as were the chicken and the noodles. Ok selection for veggies and 2 of us shared a dessert. Nice atmosphere and pleasant waiting staff. Drink prices ok

A Nice admosphere venue, with good service but a bit pricey for an average asian fusion dishes menu that failed to excite anyone on the group.

Fantastic Evening. Service was great - we had a nightmare taxi journey and had to ring ahead to say we'd be late. Greeted us with free shots to take the edge off. Food was excellent - full of flavour, hot and plentiful. Comes in the style of Tapas, so when a dish is ready you get it. Had no long delays - 4 of us had about 8/9 dishes I think and it really filled us up. Lovely bottle of red wine as well. Nice atmosphere as well. Was a great experience and would highly recommend.

A cool space with attentive-but-relaxed service, well-made cocktails and punchy, flavourful dishes. Monkfish skewers perhaps a little over-done, everything else very tasty indeed. Not cheap but not as expensive as some other reviews suggest for the quality of experience. Desserts perhaps a little on the basic side. Would definitely come back.

Overpriced , slow service , strange atmosphere. It is clearly more a place to be seen than eat. shocking value but if you feel you are cool and rich with no taste buds where presentation is more vital than taste you will love it.

Went to Gaga Kitchen and Bar on my wife's recommendation as she'd seen the owner on TV before. I must admit I was expecting the usual average South Asian restaurant cuisine...how wrong I was! Deceptively simple dishes, perfectly executed. Each dish with delicious mild or spicy sauces to match. Also, a great selection of wines and the service on the night was excellent. Will be back on our next visit to Glasgow!

Hard work from all the amazing team! Calm and pleasant manner shown at all times by the helpful waiting staff. This level of service was what is required for the work event. The food was outstanding and left many of our guests wanting more. The choice of area was excellent in terms of receiving our guests at the beginning of the evening and matched the desired ambience perfectly. Honestly, you took away any concerns we may have had in an instant, resulting in a smooth running evening. We hope to have further events here in the future! :)
