Gabe's Café in East Devon

Came in with a friend for breakfast and it was lovely. Great service, friendly staff and would definitely return. There was a very rude customer who complained about their food and then accused Ellis of not apologising, and then accusing him of having a go at the customer. Neither being remotely true and I can honestly say that my table, and other customers in the cafe can say its not true. All was handled incredibly well and I no where deserves that treatment from the member of public. Definitely won't deter me going in and, if anything, makes me want to support this business more!

Visited for breakfast and had the big boy breakfast which was very good. It was great value for money. It was my first visit and it won't be my last when I'm in the area again. I'd certainly recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic cafe, friendly staff, great menu selection at reasonable prices, and lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly which is fabulous, as stopped here for a drink after a long dog walk.

Lovely restaurant and service was friendly and quick food was amazing and coffee was perfect, easy to navigate with a disabled child and even she was happy to return, defo worth a visit for a lovely friendly brekkie

This cafe is one of my favourites, a nice warm welcome when you first walk through the door, the food is incredible and the prices are even better. The staff are lovely and friendly and nothing is a bother to them, they honestly go above and beyond for the customers and it’s really lovely to see. Nice to see youth nights, make your own desserts, nice comfy area with sofas, arcade machine. Really it is lovely! Highly recommend!

THE BREAKFAST £10. with a small mug of tea, total £12 The plate was cold that cooled the food down very quick. The bacon looked good bacon but was fried in some horrible oil that was just not edible, Nice golden eggs but slimy with horrible oil, Sausages were disgusting , the type that are made with 95% sawdust and have no meat in, so very poor. DONT GIVE ME BAKED BEANS IN A GLASS POT, and then put the pot in the middle of my food. just give me breakfast on a plate. toast and butter on the same plate so was overcrowded, it spilled onto the table. I didnt try or eat the hash browns or tomato , as my mouth was now full of this slimy oil. pathetic small mug of tea, and nowhere to put the teabag. TO THE OWNER. Try using a side plate for the toast , PUT THE KNIVES AND FORKS AND CONDIMENTS ON THE TABLE, , instead of me sitting down and then having to get up to help myself to everything, I LEFT MY ENTIRE BREAKFAST, on stating it was terrible no offer of refund. worst breakfast in years.

A new Business on Axminster business estate. Saw a local advert and decided to give it a go. As it turned out it was Monday night specials main course for £5. Nothing to glamorous and a limited menu , but normal menu available too. Including a full breakfast menu Teas, coffee and Cakes too ! Service was fast and the food was great too ! And a very pleasant host. Will definitely visit again

I have been here 4 times in two weeks and have to say what an amazing cafe! The staff are friendly and helpful and give the cafe such an amazing atmosphere! Now the food, well I can safely say I now need to sleep off the amazing all day breakfast I just had. Along with the all day breakfast they offer burgers, sandwiches and baguettes, sausage and chips and so much more! They also cater to any dietary requirements! All in all and wonderful cafe to visit if your local, on holiday or driving through and want a bite to eat. They also do a takeaway service where you can go in and order of ring and have it ordered for pick up! Enjoy everyone we certainly did.
