Service was terrible! Food was a low quality and poorly served will never return!

Was highly recommended. But sadly dissatisfied with this place wine was served warm was told it was suppose to be like this pizza burnt under neath And by the looks of it. Looks like they were smoking in the kitchen

Smoking joints in the kitchen place stinks of weed pizza soggy uneatable nothing like Neapolitan pizza If yoyr going to try and pizza in Newcastle try rudys not this place you'll only be disappointed!

hidden gem, the best pizza! Didn’t have tiramisu or the pistachio cannoli (definitely the most popular) so more reason to go back! Great veggie options too and staff were lovely!

Everything was delicious if going for a dessert definitely reccomend the Nutella explosion if you love Nutella. Very worth it and indulgent, make sure you’re sharing !

What an absolute gem. Totally authentic Italian food - not often you see guanciale in Italian restaurants too. The ravioli was perfect, simple and delicious with a perfectly balanced sage and butter sauce. Pizza was fantastic- compliments to the chef/s. Service excellent, friendly and prompt.

I’ve eaten here multiple times and it’s best pizza I’ve ever had outside of Italy and I lived there for 3 years… the staff are great, prices reasonable and they have a fantastic range of pizzas and sides. They’ve also recently added pasta to the menu too. Will definitely be back!

The pizza was barely warm I asked them to reheat it which they did but it wasn’t as nice as a freshly prepared pizza. Reply to business: All of our tables pizzas were barely warm, you remade my brothers pizza without us even asking because you knew you messed up and it was way hotter compared to mine which was just reheated. I guess reviews can be different when you can’t sort out the food correctly for everyone.

Booked a table, received a confirmation via text and email to be told they were closed when we arrived. The door was still open and the staff were just standing around chatting... Update after reply - That is strange that we arrived at 10.10 when I have a card transaction at best kebab much further down Westgate road for the same time and we had to wait there to order as well! If the kitchen closes at 10 why would bookings be offered and confirmed for that time...

An exceptional Italian run by exceptional Italians. Great pizza and pasta. Ravioli and carbonara (which they may not always have on as they specialise in pizza), was outstanding. As was the tomato based garlic bread and two pizza for takeaway. A must visit.

Simply fantastic pizza at Fuochi, I have been recommended this place by 2 Italian friends and I would not hesitate to say it is by far the best and most traditional neapolitan pizza in Newcastle. Having recently been to Italy I had high expectations and this did not disappoint. Excellent flavour and the dough was delightful. Service was quick and cheery and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get here. Will have to make a return visit.

Love Fuochi, food is the best we have outside of Italy. Staff are amazing and so friendly. We cant fault this place. I would advise anyone to go and have a meal.

The service was terrible, and the food was mediocre. We ordered a vegetable pizza with cheese, a broccoli pizza with cheese, a Caesar salad, and a caprese burrata cheese. After five minutes, the waitress apologized for throwing our order in the trash and returned it. We waited an hour and a quarter for the order to arrive. When we asked about the delay, knowing that other customers had waited half an hour and received their orders before us, the waitress gave an unconvincing answer. It seemed like she hadn’t recorded our order. We tried to cancel the order, but the waitress said it would be delivered within five minutes, but it arrived after 25 minutes. In addition to the poor service, the food was not worth the price we paid. We ordered two pizzas (ORTOLANA with SALSICCIA AND FRIARTELLE), a Caesar salad, a caprese burrata salad, and a soft lemonade. They added a 10% service charge. It was a truly awful experience at this restaurant. Replying In response to your comment about my rudeness to the employee, I want to clarify that what you heard is not true. I asked to cancel the order, which is my right, and I did not say any inappropriate words. Calling me rude reflects your attitude towards customers. Regarding the service fees, I did not choose to pay them, and no one informed me that they were optional. When the appetizers were finished, the waitress removed the plates. It was clear that the main course would be served soon, not after an hour and a quarter of removing the appetizer plates. This lack of professionalism in serving is evident. After reading other negative customer reviews and your responses, I understand the poor treatment that customers receive here. Thank you for your unconvincing reply. I hope you will work on improving your service and food quality to succeed.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Fuochi for the first time, and it was a perfect evening. The service was outstanding – the staff were friendly, attentive, and offered excellent recommendations. The pizzas were delicious, and the warm, relaxed atmosphere made for an overall excellent night. We’ll definitely be back!

It was our first time coming here and it did not disappoint. The service was amazing, our waitress was lovely and answered any questions we had about the menu. The food was delicious and tasted very fresh. Loved this restaurant and will hopefully be back soon!

Ordered from this place on deliveroo. Had high expectations as I love a proper Neapolitan style pizza. Ordered a rustica- essentially a proscuitto, arugula classic pizza (IYKYK) and was disappointed. Proscuitto wasn't fresh and almost tasted like it was going off. Also could not find any parmesan shavings on the pizza as was advertised on the photo.

I wrote in the description to ask if I could have the pizza with no pistachio please, I missed 1 call off the restaurant so I rang them back 2 minutes later. When the man answered he told me that the pistachio was in the mortadella and it was my fault and I should read the menu properly next time, he said he has already made the pizza so can’t do anything about it and was very rude not trying to be accommodating at all or even wanting to listen to anything I had to say and claimed to have called me 3 times. I also checked the menu on Uber eats, where it clearly said chopped pistachio not pistachio mortadella, so was stated as a separate topping. The pizza then arrived freezing cold nearly an hour after that phone call. The pizza looked and tasted nice but unfortunately the customer service was that bad that I won’t be returning.

Pizza is the best we've tasted so far. Tomato sauce with just the perfect level of sweet and tangy. While some don't eat the crust, we love the crust. Wife loves Salsiccia Funghi.

Absolutely horrible experience that ruined my party. Staff completely not bothered with messed up order (two pizzas were missed out and the starters were not as ordered), RAW dough in the calzone pizza, disappointing food quality. Wish I took photos how off putting some of the pizzas looked but I was too disappointed to deal with it at the time. Most of the food I paid a massive bill for ended up in the bin.

This restaurant makes a delicious authentic Naples pizza in Newcastle. I highly recommend it.

Lovely atmosphere, busy but not overcrowded. The pizzas are amazing! There is a huge selection to choose, it’s actually quite difficult to decide. I went for the Diavola (number 12) which is definitely recommend if you’re a meat lover. Worth a visit, we’ll be returning very soon.

This place is a hidden gem! Loved the food, everything was so fresh and generously portioned! The restaurant generally has a great atmosphere, and very friendly staff. Would really recommend!

We got takeaway and the pizza was fantastic. The restaurant was closing up but we still got served. Ordered a seafood pescatore pizza and it came with plenty of king prawns. Unfortunately no mussels or squid but still delicious.

Hands down the best Italian food I have ever had! I’m a former restaurateur and live in Denver, CO. If you can make it here it’s worth a visit from as far away as Denver. Amazing people and fresh ingredients.

Went to Fouchi Pizza Experience on a Wednesday afternoon and it was most definitely an experience! As we went in we weren't totally sure whether it was open as it was definitely a quieter time to go, however we were promptly invited upstairs by the staff and seated at a lovely table. After looking at the menu, we placed our order, and after a wait the lovely pizza seen in the photo arrived. It's worth mentioning we did wait quite a while for our food, but the restaurant had just opened and it was definitely worth the wait. The staff provided us with an awesome experience, and promptly got us an extra drink when we asked. It was also fun to see what we can only assume were the owners of the restaurant, looking to make improvements to the venue. The pizza was fresh and of an authentic italian quality, for a good price. Will definitely be going back!

Stumbled on this restaurant randomly while walking around looking for a place for supper. The food was excellent, the staff were so welcoming and kind. Proper authentic Italian food. We had a great experience, and we'll definitely come back again.

We dropped in here before the England game and they very kindly squeezed us in. The pizzas were delicious and the staff were very smiley and friendly.
