This is by far the nicest,best tasting value for money plate of food ever,absolutely delish.Great service hot food,great quality,friendly staff,my new favourite lunchtime treat.

Called in today while passing, ordered a Haddock and Chips and a Fishcake and Chips and Curry sauce, had to wait for the Haddock to be cooked fresh , both meals were very tasty, beautiful white flakes of Haddock, gorgeous crispy batter and the chips were very well cooked. The staff were very friendly too, Will definitely be going back for more and recommend to everyone.

Excellent food as ever. The Haddock was absolute perfection as was the Roe. Chips very very Tasty. Usual friendly and quick service on a busy day.

This is the best chippy haddock I've ever had. Really, really nice. The portion on their website doesn't do it justice, they are massive! Crispy batter, cooked all the way through, tasty, proper nice chips, lovely. The place is clean, modern and homely. I also saw a member of staff meticulously cleaning down a high chair, the fabric straps, everything. I don't doubt their cleanliness. Also, the young girl that served us was so smiley and friendly, nothing too much trouble. I'd definitely go here again. Well worth the (cheap) money.

I FOUND THIS PLACE BY SHEER CHANCE AND KNEW NOTHING ABOUT THE RESTAURANT IN THE BACK WHICH WILL SEAT UP TO 50 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY, WHAT A FIND ! ! !, WE POP IN ON A SATURDAY LUNCHTIME, FISH AND CHIPS TO EAT IN IS ONLY £5-50 TO EAT IN, THEY OPEN MON-SAT FROM 11-30 TO 14-30, IT'S BRILLIANT JUST LIKE GOING TO BLACKPOOL IN THE 1960s + 1970s. GIVE IT A WHIRL..

Fantastic little gem. The fish and chips are excellent. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is clean and fresh. Well worth a visit and they don't cost a fortune to sit in and eat.

The best Chippy ever honestly… You will love it

The customer service from the extended staff was good. However I had a particular encounter with a tall blonde woman who was bagging up my order which was very rude and aggressive as I asked for a bag which I had paid for but she refused to give me the bag I had paid for as she stated that I hadn’t paid for it even though I persistently told her I did. She went to ask another staff member at the till but she had been serving somebody else at that point and also agreed that I didn’t pay but she wasn’t even the person that served me. I asked for the receipt to show them I paid but was refused. I purchased 2 portions of cod and chips with separate peas and curry sauce. She did not attempt to locate the receipt at any given point and made it seem like she gave me the carrier bag free of charge. I paid 13.40 in total. That specific staff member has disgusting customer service skills so be careful

Great chip shop, gets busy but that's because it has good food at good value

We’ve been meaning to try this Fish n Chippie for ages having heard non stop good feedback from lots of people. Well everyone is absolutely right, the boss really knows what he is doing here. We had really delicious Cod n chips with mushy peas and it was nice to see you could have it with other sides like beans, coleslaw, gravy etc. Batter was crispy (bottom as well as top which is sign of correct temp/time/draining) and both fish n chips were to die for. No black gritty bits that you get with old fat. Staff were lovely and restaurant was very clean and well organized. Try it, you’ll not be disappointed, the sheer number of people eating in the restaurant speaks for itself, clearly a really popular place that gives excellent value and left us feeling full for the rest of the day. We’ll be back for sure.

Love this chip shop. I've eaten in and had takeaway. The food is very reasonably priced and the staff are lovely and work really hard.

Had the haddock meal and is spot on. The batter is nice and crispy. Chips cooked well. They have a takeaway and a dine in area at the back. Food prices are reasonable, and to be honest, good value for money.

I’m not really a fish and chips eater but I’ve got to say - this is genuinely the best one I’ve ever had. Good portion, crispy and not leaking with oil. Yum! Would visit again for sure!

Had planned an evening sit down meal, as had seen very good Trip Advisor reviews. Maybe I should have read the opening times more closely. I visited at 8pm, and the restaurant already shut hours before. I had considered lunch, but that would have been rushed as could not have visited before 2pm.

Just a great place and great food 😋.

We had a set lunch of Cod and Chips with Peas..and a cup of Tea .... superb. The service was friendly and FryMaster was very busy..which was lovely to see.

Can't decide on what to give this place really, 3 or 4- but based on my own meal, I'll probably have to give it a 3. Chips were good- cod was ok at first few bites, great flavour and I think the cod was good to begin with, but honestly it was far too greasy and quite salty. The mushy peas were also way, way too salty, and I usually like salty. Partner's haddock was great however, but haddock isn't really my thing- and the curry sauce was great. Probably wouldn't let curiosity get the better of you with the battered burger, tasted funny and also way too greasy (shame they don't do spam fritters mind!)

My mum and dad took me to see if I liked it as much as him and I've got to say it was very good the fish was really soft and moist and the pea was very mushy could do with a bit more wet not a lot but over all it was the best chippy by far I have been too.....it's 15/10 it's that good

Women taking the money needs to learn some basic communication skills lol talks to you whilst your talking to your server then scowls when you don't hear her........smile at least you have a job.

Went for the first time yesterday, the chips were lovely and golden, the fish was soft white and flaky and the batter crispy and delicious, my daughter loved it too, the prices weren’t extortionate, we will definitely be back

Food absolutely delicious. staff very friendly and Efficient restaurant is always clean as are the toilets. But the best thing about this fish and chip Restaurant is the prices. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Be aware they stop taking orders for the restaurant around 2 30pm

Been a couple of times now superb fish and chips , friendly service and a lovely atmosphere. Always busy reflecting how good it is.

Just had fish & chips from here and it wasn't nice at all! The fish was grey the batter was extremely greasy which has left a unpleasant taste in my mouth, the chips were ok at best, the potion size was very small almost like a kids meal. I would never eat from here again.

Visiting Cineworld for the new Top Gun movie on my Birthday and didn’t want to go with the overpriced chain crap food associated with that area, did a little research and came across Frymaster, no booking needed all be it a Monday dinner time, so took advantage of the free parking nextdoor and went in and sat down. All 3 of us were treated with the best friendly service, very friendly and accommodating then on top of that the food came! Absolutely delicious at such a reasonable price, worth ever penny. Thank you and we will be back

I love fish & chips, bad fish & chips ruin my day, my week, my month…….. These are consistently delicious!! Crisp batter, thick and tasty fish, lovely golden chips. What more can you ask for……oh and so so cheap, brilliant value, great service and the BEST fish & chips. Joe Scarborough art too and all located in an old brothel 🤣🤣 Must visit!!!!
