Frying Tuck in Wiltshire

Waited 50 mins past our collection time. My boyfriend isn't fussy but coor the food was abysmal! The fish was mostly skin and bones in a thin patchy layer of batter. We returned for a refund! This is sad as a year or so ago this place was devine.

We booked "Frying Tuck" for a function at Coombe Campsite in Salisbury. They cooked 25 meals for our group,. Everyone was impressed with the quality of the food. We would thoroughly recommend fish and chips from this company.

I had fish and chips and curry sauce at last a good chippy for Salisbury would recommend to everybody staff are friendly 10/10

We pre ordered fish and chips and sausages for 14 people. It was ready on time They were helpful and the food was fantastic. It was the best fish and chips I have ever had Everyone enjoyed their food.

I tried them this evening as they were in Wallop and so very local to me, well, what a find! Absolutely lovely fresh fish in a very light batter with gorgeous chips. Better quality fish and chips than any fish shop in Winchester or Romsey. I will definitely be returning

This mobile van serves food cooked to order. Chips are lovely and well drained and their batter covered food is well fried. Some of the best fish and chips in the area.

La comida era deliciosa, pero realmente necesitan traer suficiente pescado.

Mi familia y yo hemos estado utilizando la sartén desde el negocio de golosinas empezamos y creemos que sirven el mejor pescado y patatas fritas que he y a buen precio.Como la comida es preparada a la orden, es fresco y es realmente vale la pena esperar.Honestamente podemos decir que tienen la mayoría de las semanas! Didn't want to cook. So popped along to this travelling fish and chippie. Very freshly prepared and cooked. And convenient.

We bought fish and chips from this mobile shop yesterday. We did have to wait about 15 minutes which was acceptable as the site seemed quite popular. However this can only be based on convenience not quality or price. The chips at £2 were plentiful enough but were rock hard, almost inedible, but that pales into insignificance when the fish is brought to account. The cod was the smallest piece I had ever bought swamped in a solid piece of equally inedible batter. The fish was so dry I had the opinion that it was yesterday's reheated and at £4 very expensive for what it was. Overall I would have preferred to have travelled further to a real fish and chip shop or pub. I will not be using this facility again and recommend others to avoid it.

Had a great meal served with a smile at the frying tuck. It was a very good experience, I feel the owners were very passionate about their business and rightly so they have a great service. I do recommend using the pre-order option if your in a hurry to avoid queing as the frying tuck has a become very popular at their stops, and to insure you don't miss out on the homemade bits that sell fast. I imagine they will be expanding in the near future due to popularity. Thank you for a great meal! Keep up the good work! See you again soon.

Heard from a few people that Frying Tuck was really good and to help a local business is great so we thought why not! The food was amazing! Really tasty and pretty reasonably priced! Cost £10 for 2 meals that were cooked fresh to order. My chicken bites were really light and actually chicken (!) and the chips were amazing! Definitely worth every penny! Will definitely be going back!
