Sister brought me here for our birthday, amazing tasting food, lovely staff and the decorations are beautiful. Such a gem of a place

First visit here, super yummy and filling. Defo will be back to try out some more food

Me and my family had lunch at this restaurant today. This was our second time at this place and I was not disappointed again. Impressive how nice and well decorated the place is. Our kids played in a kids aera while we enjoyed our coffee . Food was nicely served, tested delicious (I personally love corn dog). All freshly prepared. Lovely, family friendly place. Totally recommended 👌

Staff cross contaminating pork and chicken and using thier personal phones whilst cooking, if u fancy eating food cooked witj dirty hands carry on. Store owner nice enough to come talk to us and try resolve but you couldnt make this up. They even run out of Korean buns when they tried to remake it. But honestly place was a let down. Staff clueless and food average. Claim they have Belgium chips but honestly frozen chips taste the same. Never again

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Busan Bites, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, literally perfect spot for a relaxed meal with my family. I started with the Korean chicken and sum kimchi, which were both delicious. For main course, I opted for the bibimbap, and it did not disappoint. The mix of vegetables, perfectly cooked rice, and tender beef was simply divine. The service was top-notch as well. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Also tried their home made classic lemonade, and it was super refreshing. It had the right amount of sweetness and a zesty kick that paired perfectly with the meal 👌🏻

I stopped by for lunch and decided to try the bibimbap, and I’m so glad I did!😊 The dish was beautifully presented with vibrant, fresh vegetables and perfectly cooked rice, all topped with an egg. the food here is ok, the kids like it. The corn dogs are fine but the chips are frozen fries and always soggy. We usually treat the kids when the meal deal is on buy one get one free. However, when ordering today I didn’t notice, it’s no longer a meal, just a corndog. One corndog priced at £10.50. When I called I was told that the corn dogs will always be by one get one free now so they are not actually £10.50 each. I’d argue that then they’re not actually get one free? Feels a bit scammy and for that reason I won’t be ordering here anymore.

Had take out of corn dogs and chips ,awful cheap frankfurter in some sort of bread roll with mustard and tomatoes sauce on a stick, way over priced , that was not a corn dog ,will never eat there or order from them again yuk

Cannot fault the meal we had here yesterday, best Korean chicken burger that I've had. Fresh, juicy, full of flavour and all at a great price. Highly recommended from me!

Ordered a takeaway and with the reviews I thought it would be good. But I was wrong the Korean dog was just some soggy bread with a cheap sausage in the middle. The box was nice but other than that very disappointed.

Friendly atmosphere, the owner came out and spoke to us and was so kind, the food was amazing and exactly as described, presentation was spot on and it tasted fantastic and very authentic! Absolute banger of a place, couldn’t recommend more!!!

I went there with my mother and she made an ordering mistake but after she said she wouldn't eat the sauce they made her the exact same thing without the sauce and she didn't have to pay for it again anyway, amazing food, amazing service and very nice atmosphere, very good Korean music in the background, amazing place recommend.

Lovely food and at a really good price. The only issue for me was that the beef brisket in my bao buns was a bit dry, I would’ve preferred it if it was a bit tender and juicy. Also some spicy mayo would be nice but in them but I still really enjoyed them regardless. The corn dog was also nice, I didn’t really have anything to compare it to so for me it was good.

Corndogs where good, tteokbokki was dreadful and not authentic. Staff were friendly.

NOT authentic Korean establishment Korean 'inspired', run by non koreans Kdogs weren't crunchy at all, soggy. Cubed potatoes we paid extra to add on were tiny. I ordered the mozzarella one which was HALF the size of the chicken kdogs. When I asked management said 'that is the portion'. Ttobokki was the worst I've ever had, in my experience of having Korean food both in the UK and north America. It used packet rice cakes which werent chewy at all. Sauce was more like rose ttobokki but without the velvet texture. Spicy sauce but no depth, I don't believe they even used Gojujang in this. Was absolutely shocked that they served this with half a plate of kimchi inside and chicken? This is unheard of. The polish manager offered us some £5 free Tanghulu to make up for our experience, but this tasted stale also. We spent £27 on this, hardly any food and poor quality. We drove over 25 miles to come here especially and left hungry and incredibly disappointed. DO NOT recommend, you are better off heading to Guildford or New Malden for actually authentic Korean food.

Went today for my 17th birthday. generally one of the best, yet quietest places I've ever eaten. Absolutely love the food and drinks and would definitely eat here again.

We walked passed this last week and my daughter really wanted to try some Korean foods especially seeing this on YouTube. So we popped in to try some Korean corn dogs and tanghulu. The food was delicious 🤤 and surprisingly very filling. I didn’t think a corn dog would fill me like this. We really liked the decor in there too the lights look lovely. It wasn’t busy at all when we’ve visited and the staff there were friendly both the waitress and the cook. The items are also reasonably priced. We’d visit Busan bites again when we are in portsmouth for a shopping trip again for a quick bite. Thank you 🙏

I noticed that they have done up the interior over a few months. It is now looking fab with pretty lanterns and a lovely atmosphere. The food was great, had the Korean chicken, chips with garlic sauce. Garlic sauce was amazing! Love that they have a selection of Asian style alcohol - tried the Shima Sake with Lychee and Green Tea and it was so refreshing. I am glad they have revised the menu to include vegan and allergy friendly options! Edit: went for a second visit to try the vegan options. Loved them all, the aubergine katsu and doenjang guk noodles were simply amazing

So pretty and beautiful, I love the little lanterns floating not sure why they aren’t more packed maybe I went at a quiet time but the staff were so nice explaining how to order for the corn dog (I ate it before I took the picture :/ it was delicious) really 5/5

Woah really tasty blue cheese corn dog, it was served so hot and fresh too! There wasn't too much cheese which made it healthy Much better than the horrid Bournemouth one I had which tasted old.

Not long ago they rebranded this place and honestly made it worse. The ambience is still really nice and service is good too, but the huge prices for the tiny rations are just unacceptable. 7£ for 4 sliced cucumbers you can eat on a single bite, and charging 1£ for a tiny bowl of ketchup sauce really is ridiculous. I'm only 50 kg and eat very little, never able to finish most rations in other places, but here you can easily spend 15£+ and still be left hungry.

This is a great little spot, I got the tteokbokki with chichen, and it was really nice. Would definitely come back to try some other dishes

Absolutely amazing food, loved by all the corn dogs were really tasty my children and I loved them, the chicken was tasty sweet sticky with a kick of chilly the rice was cooked to perfection. Warm welcome, great atmosphere, fantastic service. Looking forward to going back.

A really good meal and a great experience of Korean food.

Great taste however the portion with the chicken tteokbokki I ordered with a price tag of over ten pound is bit disappointing. Came in a size of a cereal bowl. It’s not that it’s a fine dining but nahhhh. Maybe because I am Asian and we care about portion too or just me.

First time trying this place out so I thought I’d treat myself. Staff were friendly and helpful which is always a bonus! I got the Chicken Korean Style Box which included the following: “Chicken boneless Korean wings coated in double glazed zing sauce, served with Korean style corn dog, chips, kimchee slaw, a sprinkle of mixed sesame seeds and spring onion, garnished with fresh lime” with that I also added chips and a small pot of their popular garlic sauce. You get to choose between chips and rice. I loved everything (including the sauce) apart from the chicken corn dog which wasn’t anything special, next time I will opt for the mozzarella corn dog.

i recently moved to portsmouth and i’ve been here several times, it’s an absolute hidden gem! i can’t recommend the mozzarella house special corn dog enough, it’s one of the tastiest foods i’ve ever eaten. the house ginger lemonade is also so lovely. this place is always really quiet, so i assume people just don’t know about it! the food comes super quickly and the staff are all very sweet!

Indulged in the corn dogs !! Soo soo yum! Boneless wings were also really nice! Ohh and the curly fries with their sauce was also soo good!! 👏🏽🩷

My partner and I came here for lunch on a whim, and boy are we glad we did! The atmosphere is chill and the food is delicious! I was surprised by how quiet it was, I'm guessing some people haven't found this little gem just yet. The menu is a nice size so it won't overwhelm you if you're new to these dishes. The staff are welcoming and courteous to boot! The food itself is so flavoursome and delicious, I was very keen on the dishes we ordered, they were just the right portion size. I would highly recommend stopping by. Try their lemonade, it's so refreshing!

Very overpriced for average food. 34 pounds for 2 adult mains, the child menu and two cokes. The food was very average - nothing special at all. The child meal is a bit of a joke - two of the cheapest chicken nuggets I’ve ever seen that tasted like paper and chips. Given this is a Korean restaurant with fresh chicken - would it not be worth doing something a bit better than supermarket paper nuggets? The only positive - the staff were pleasant. I would not recommend given the cost.

Me and my missus came in for a quick bite, she asked for a glass of water, I ordered a cocktail, aswell as meals. Food came out before the drinks, the cocktail eventually got to the table after I had finished my meal, and even then it was the wrong drink. My missus still didn't get the water she asked for. Won't be coming back.

If I was basing my review on food alone it would probably be a 4/5 - unfortunately it’s the service which lets this place down. There’s no real effort when it comes to front of house - guests aren’t greeted, they have to collect their own food from the hot plate and the staff generally came across as disinterested. Whilst we were there a group of 4 patiently waited for about 5 minutes to be seated before walking out. This is all a real shame as the food is really good - fresh, tasty and enjoyable. If they could improve service they’d have a top notch restaurant!

Amazing place! A must visit if you are in Portsmouth. We absolutely loved the delicious food, the service was super friendly, helpful and attentive. The decor is modern and tendy, great vibe and ambience, good music, clean and well stocked toilets. Very family friendly too - the little childrens play area in the corner was a big hit with our little ones, wish more restaurants had these! And we loved the little thank you note written on our take away bag, it's a small gesture but it definitely made us smile :)!

Visited for two days in a row the food was that good! Highly recommend the Korean Box and the fried chocolate desserts. A lovely chilled atmosphere and super friendly service. Can't wait to visit again next time we're in Portsmouth!

Best place to eat in Portsmouth

Food wasn't too bad. Its Korean inspired dishes. Quite over price for the portion you get. £4 for a processed (2 pcs)chicken nugget with a few "Belgian" fries. I really didn't get what so "Belgian" about the fries though. The tteokbokki wasn't cooked how it should be. So it was quite bland. £10.95 for a little bowl of rice cake in sauce and small bits of meat and a spoonful of kimchi. It was a good try, but definitely won't be coming back.

Only the chicken in the poke bowl and the beef in tteokbokki are nice, others are so bad that I have to leave a review. It was so disappointing that the portion are small and the sauces are upsetting.

Great little spot. I was staying Portsmouth for the night for work and found this little gem. So glad I did. Wishing there was one near Oxford! Food was great, simple and packed with flavour. Chef (owner perhaps) even cqme out and checked that everyone was happy. Don't get that much these days. Didn't take photos unfortunately, as I was starving and did not want to waste a minute. Clean venue and clean utensils etc. Friendly front service. Highly recommend and will most certainly visit again if I'm ever in Portsmouth again.

The most friendly staff. I’ve been a customer for 4 years now since they had a food truck over southsea. I looove their menu and I tried almost everything by far. My favourites are the Korean corn dog ( there is a chicken halal option plus all chicken is halal)and the Belgium style fries with their yummy blue cheese sauce and crispy options . The Katsura chicken is great as well and they have sooo many cocktails and mocktails . The location is close to the university ( behind park building across the train station) and in the city centre (commercial) and they do student discount . It’s also perfect for a work /study lunch spot since it’s very cozy and quiet before/after rush hour.

Customer service is excellent, and the food is tasty, it is on the more expensive side but worth it for the quality of food. I was expecting more options for the fries though, Still would recommend.

Amazing food and lovely staff. The chips are amazing and the Katsu Aubergine is just perfection 😚👌 you could taste that everything was made fresh! Me and my brother got the mars bar on a stick for pudding too, sooooo sinfully good 😂 The homemade lemonade is a complete star as well we ended up getting 2 each 🙈 all in all a lovely place to have lunch, can’t rate it high enough!

We got the crunchy bite corn dog and it came with flaming hot Cheetos dusting but we couldn’t taste it, bit disappointing. Other than that the corn dog was good, cheese was melted nicely.
