Fresh Fish Bar in City of London, Westminster

It’s Perfect. Not greasy at all. Batter on the cod is fried to perfection. Staff is very friendly. Totally recommended.

I hunted high and low to find a fish shop nearby in Wimbledon prior to my visit, this place looked and sounded great within a short bus ride. Lovely friendly staff, food was brought on a plate which was lovely, fish looked gorgeous and was how disappointing to find frozen chips.the whole meal was delicious I couldn’t fault it apart from the chips. They come as a pair, so knocked off 1 star, unless fresh chips next time will go elsewhere.

Really excellent fish and chips which are freshly cooked to order. My family regularly use this for takeaways and we are never disappointed. It is also a small unlicensed cafe so you can eat in if you want.

Didn’t enjoy the fish ‘n chips as much as usual. Cold slaw was dreadful and sour. Dessert was lovely ! Service was good !

Sausages were disgusting, tasted and smelt off and although were replaced, the replacements were just as bad.

Food was very good, better than expected and plenty of it.

Fish was chunky and batter crispy.. just the right amount of chips and mushy peas were hot.. order was even delivered early. 5 Stars

I think the food would've been ok if it wasn't dripping in oil. The scampi, fish, chips and onion rings just had too much oil. To the point that we actually couldn't eat any more because all you could taste was oil.

Food was great. Was worried that it wouldn't be hot or taste freshly cooked, but it was lovely. Also received complimentary drink.

Delivery was well within time and the delivery driver was polite and friendly. Chips were proper chip shop chips and very nice, onion rings were great as were all the sides however the savaloys were without doubt the worst I have ever attempted to eat, utterly terrible, I was unable to eat even half of the 2 I ordered. Given the previous reviews I was surprised, this is honestly the worst I have had. May give benefit of the doubt and order again, time will tell, pity as rest was great.

Ordered quarter pounder and was good but was smothered in burger sauce which I didn't ask for and they should really let you know that, but cod & chips was lovely

Worst food ive ever had. Sausage in batter wasnt cooked properly. The chips were disgusting. No lemons or sauce like in the description. Threw most of the food in the bin, even the dog wouldnt touch it! I will def never order from here again. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Do not use these awful people I couldn't tell u what the food is like cause it didn't turn up and refused to give me a refund. When we called them i was shouted at and called disgusting names.

I had lamb Shish kebab which was awful. It was a box of chips which I didn't want anyway with lamb strips on top that was like little strips of an old Grey carpet not chunks of lamb. Yes it was grey! Absolutely awful I threw it away.

Came incredibly quickly, over half an hour earlier than estimated! Really good classic fish and chips and mushy peas. Nailed a hangover craving on a Saturday ;)

Lamb shish inedible, chicken weirdly roasting of curry!!! This normally reliable takeaway COMPLETELY ignored my request for no tomatoes or purple cabbage in salad. Therefore couldn't eat it. Very disappointing.

Fish was nice, jumbpsausage is good however every time we have ordered, the chips are awful. floury, too thick and not very fresh, as if they have been sitting for a while.

Can't fault delivery speed, portion size or general food handling, was al pretty spot on. Chips were a tad greasy, maybe that's your thing. Normally my thing, but I wasn't feeling it today.
