Love this place. The staff are all so friendly and helpful and the food is always fresh & tasty. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Me and my partner have been here a few times, it's such a friendly place, fab service and staff. The jacket potatoes are wonderful and the coffee is worth having too! We will definitely keep coming back.

I had this cafe recommended to me and after having to fast for a blood test was starving so paid it a visit and really glad I did. The staff were really welcoming and attentative and the food was something else. Cooked perfectly great quality and took me back to my mum's fry ups bless her. There were also articles dotted around inside that were very interesting and again took me back to good old days and gone by with cherished memories. I know it's my first visit here but deffo will not be the last - a true gem in Hornchurch not to be passed by.

Me and my boyfriend love coming to this cafe every Saturday its become our little routine. We have been coming for the past 8-9 months and we wouldn't go anywhere else. The food and drink are so good, and reasonably priced and we always recommend it to our friends and family! The perfect family run cafe! (Cash only)

Excellent menu options. My husband selected eggs Benedict with a crispy bacon roll on the side and I had the cooked breakfast. All of it was delicious. Good quality sausages and lovely thick bacon. Milk alternatives available on the drinks menu as well.

We have been there today for the first time, it had a nice atmosphere about it, very friendly welcome, food was great, I loved the sprinkles of paprika and fresh herbs on my eggs benedict, I could have done with a bit more hollandaise but this is personal liking - it was still tasty. Perfectly poached egg was nice runny, we defo go there again.

The staff provided a warm welcome, and considering the price paid, the breakfast was satisfactory.

I do go now and again when in Hornchurch , the salt beef bagels are excellent so is there smoke salmon and scrambled eggs prices very good staff as good as you get 😋

Really nice food and great service

Popped in here yesterday for lunch whilst we were out shopping. Lovely little find, had never been before. I am admittedly a coffee snob, and I have to say their coffee was fab. Lunch was lovely really enjoyed it. There was really relaxing retro style music playing, it was so chill, felt like we could have just sat there chatting for ages. Staff were very nice too. Will be back!

Popped into French's for lunch. It was busy, but I was served quickly. Ham egg and chips cooked just how I liked it and tasty. A good sized portion as well. There was a good choice on the menu, prices had gone up a little, but that was no surprise due to the excessive charges for energy being forced upon small business's. Still a traditional cafe serving traditional freshly cooked good food. Will return and support them.

Called in yesterday morning with work friends for breakfast as a group of 6. They were rushed of there feet but still managed to smile and be friendly. As always food was to a good standard nothing not to like.

Fantastic Cafe with beautiful old school decor and a lovely atmosphere. Service is excellent and the menu is very varied. I had the Welsh Rarebit with poached eggs which was amazing.

Absolutely banging cafe real old school reminded me of when I was a kid ...spotlessly clean and very nice ham egg and chips ...would definitely go there again !!!

Called in this morning with my team for breakfast, service was very good, welcoming and friendly. Drinks ordered taken while we waited for one more person to joined us, we wasn’t rushed nor left alone which was nice. Food all arrived together, nicely presented and tasted great. We tried here today as a member of our team told us they were feeding the homeless at Christmas and wanted to support them. This was my first visit but will not be my last nothing not to like, good food, fair price lovely friendly staff.

this is a very popular local cafe in Hornchurch, so it is often busy. run by Mark French and his family the food is freshly made and the portion size is good. You will wait whilst food is prepared for you but that is ok- you can read a newspaper and have a cuppa while you wait. Great for breakfast or lunch or getting something on the move. It is easy to see why Mark has a number of regulars since the food and service is good and it is a friendly place. But it can run out of choices on a busy day, so make sure you choose your time to eat.

We love hanging out. Last night we arrived in this fine place which we didn’t know before. We passed a lovely time there with first-rate food and a nice crew and a talented chef. We added this restaurant in our list and we shall surely go again very soon. Highly recommended.

Stopped in on a wet and miserable day . Was greeted warmly and soon had a nice hot coffee . My husband and I both went for the regular full English , good quality produce , well cooked and no sign of grease. Fantastic value for money - will be back soon !

So much more than just a fry up (although there was an option) My Welsh Rarebit was lovely and full of flavour, the Mrs had the Smoked Haddock and Eggs which was cooked to perfection. En Hornchurch ayer con mi marido y nos fuimos a café francés. Qué sorpresa tan agradable. Mi marido tenía el desayuno cena y no pudo terminar. La porción era tan grande y la comida era encantador! El servicio también era bueno! Volveremos pronto.

El café estaba limpia y ordenada, con una gran variedad de comida y el personal muy agradable. El café estaba bueno pero el "Inglés" fue decepción por la calidad de los platos servidos. En particular, las salchichas. Estas son insulsos, baratas procesados sin sabor y textura como de cartón empapados. £5. 45 sólo por la fe, estoy seguro de que hay espacio para incluir elementos de mejor calidad. Otro punto malo, fue la de salsas, tanto Red & Brown eran como agua coloreada. Una lástima, en mi opinión. Ahora son cafés propiamente raro en Hornchurch entre las masas de turcos, italianos, indios, establecimientos de pizza y el elegantes cafeterías que llenan la High Street. Este café tiene el potencial de ser tan buena! ! Parece que luego volver a Wetherspoons
