Great staff, good food & drinks at decent prices.

Haven't visited here before, but would definitely return. We ate at lunchtime on a Sunday, spare of the moment after catching up with a close friend, booked a table for an hours time easily. The carvery was beautiful. Meat was tender, sides were great with plenty of choice!. Service was amazing!!! I'm rubbish with names but rhe young lady serving us (table service) was lovely, polite kind patient and attentive. Thank you for a wonder experience. I cannot tell you how delicious the cruchie cheesecake you have to try it!!

Have used this restaurant several times in the past when staying in the premier inn,arrived this time around 8pm booked a table for 8.30 sat down had our food which was mediocre compared to previous visits, finished our meals retired to the bar for another drink,ordered our last drink after last order bell approximately 21.50,then at 22.10 were told in a very unprofessional manner we needed to leave as they close at 22.00,I questioned this as it says 23.00 on Google, to be told Google is wrong!I asked why sell drinks at 21.50 if they close at 22.00?I feel this is manager's discretion closing at 22.00 on a Friday night,also a small group of people had arrived as we were leaving at 22 15 wanting drinks but were turned away,I think I'll find a different hotel close to the tunnel after this experience!!

Popped in with the family for breakfast after dropping the car off at Halfords for its MOT. Service was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet had good options including vegan bacon and sausages. The interior is a little dated but otherwise a pleasant breakfast which was very affordable. We will be back soon :)

Always a pleasure to have a meal with my wife at Table Table French Connection. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and our waitress today was Karen who is an extremely happy character every time we visit and definitely helped to make our dining experience a pleasurable one. Good menu choices. Tasty and well presented meals. Driving means no alcohol consumption but refreshing soft drinks. 🤓🤓

Three of us just went for a late lunch and Alfie served us. Not only was he an amazing host but we even left with music recommendations and enjoyed those on the way home after the delicious food. The other staff member was really nice too. Highly recommend.

We visited on a Friday afternoon, me and my 2 sons. We had a lovely time. It wasnt too busy or loud which was perfect for my autistic son. our server kerry-ann was so attentive she had heard my son say he didnt want to sit in a hot place and she suggested to him that he could sit under a air conditioning area which he and i enjoyed, however she had asked us twice if it was still ok as other find it too cold sometime but it was perfect for us, she even brought them some colouring to whilst waiting for food. The food was amazing hot and didn't take much time at all

Brilliant! Just been here with my family and child. All the staff were lovely, especially Karen who served us. What an absolutely wonderful lady. Food was delicious, the pudding was gorgeous and the atmosphere was really nice. Being autistic I'm usually very overwhelmed in restaurants and fussy with food, but I found both the atmosphere and food great.

All good until payment. Then the non paying at the table was a fail to us.

We (party of 2) arrived here just before last orders having not long got to the hotel. We had to go looking for anybody as there was no staff present at the bar or where we had been waiting to be seated. Once sat down, our orders were taken and drinks were brought over swiftly. In this time I used the bathroom and could barely wash my hands as the tap water was boiling hot. Later on we overheard a customer complaining about this so it wasn't just me. When the food arrived the garlic bread on both plates was literally black. I understand the kitchen was near to closing time but this isn't an excuse for the chefs to give us burned food. When we asked for fresh garlic bread, the waitress was quite rude (a reocurring theme), and it took so long for the new garlic bread to come that we had nearly finished the rest of our food by the time it came. To top this off, while we were still eating the waitress comes and puts the bill on the table, which we hadn't asked for. By this point we felt like we were being almost a nuisance to the staff for just being there. After we'd finished we asked the gent who seated us who we assumed to be the manager what time they closed, to which they said 10, different from the 11 we had been told at the Premier Inn reception. When we went to pay, we double checked this with the waitress, as the website also said 11, to which she said "well we're short staffed tonight and the website's just wrong" in a bit of a fed up tone. After paying we politely said we found it quite rude that we were brought the bill while we were still eating and before we'd asked for it, which was met with "well we're closing soon and I'm going home in a minute", which we thought was just foul customer service, a thought solidified when we then heard her walk into the kitchen and start kicking off about us. After a long day of travelling we thought this would be a chance to relax and unwind, but we were made to feel like a burden to inexcusably rude staff. We will be making a formal complaint and definitely not returning. If you are staying in the Premier Inn, I'd recommend just going to the McDonald's across the rode. Steer clear.

Staff were friendly enough but after being seated by the host there wasn't really any service after that. Had to go around and walk around to find stuff as we had gluten-free and vegetarian and family members sitting there waiting to eat. During this time we had to wait extended periods of time for food to come out, which again wasn't great quality. Unfortunately, as the food was left buffet style under heat lamps after a couple of minutes, the eggs were really horrible and inedible. The mushrooms and tomatoes again were not very nice either. There wasn't even nice coffee to wash it down, which was surprising as it was straight from a machine. Continental breakfast wasn't topped up while we were there and had minimal selection. Overall all ingredients and items available for the breakfast were such low quality. I wouldn't recommend it personally.

Amusing you have to book for an empty restaurant. Food quality can be summed up as “they microwave food on a par with a flat roofed Wetherspoons” Fine for sustenance, great if you like spongy chips.

Tried to eat breakfast with 5 other motorbikers after arriving by Eurotunnel but not been served, staff said they fully booked but restaurant isn't looked full and a lot of tables been empty, shame

Easy to get to, ample parking (maximum stay of three hours, need to register vehicle registration inside restaurant). A modern restaurant yet feels quite homely with a few nooks and crannies for seating. Has a cosy feel to the place, and decor all in good condition. Reasonable prices with weekday daytime special deals. Quality of the food and the presentation is good, together with polite, attentive and friendly service. Chicken goujons were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing on my last visit. Roasts available on Sundays, otherwise more of a 'American' feel menu. This review is based on several lunch time mid-week visits for a group of 7-10 people. Hopefully evenings and weekends the food and service are the same!

Booked for breakfast on a Sunday morning, the cooked breakfast was cooked very well with plenty of choice. It was an all you can eat buffet, but was content a single plate (not overfull!) of bacon, sausage, mushrooms, fried egg, tomato, hashbrown, and black pudding, All cooked perfectly. Baked beans and scrambled egg were also available, and seemed to go down well with the rest of the family. Free refills of tea or coffee (the cappuccino was okay) and/or fruit juice. Will definitely come again for breakfast before long. Looked like the restaurant has had a bit of a mild refresh so all looked clean and not tired.

A low-key spot for something to eat. Service was acceptable. There are slot machies. My friend actually won some money from them 😂.

Went here for a post birthday cocktail,beautiful blue lagoon was prepared quickly and was very nice . Friendly attentive staff ,clean tables nice relaxing atmosphere . Lovely for a Sunday afternoon tipple.

We popped in here for breakfast while our car was being serviced at a local garage and have to say we can't praise the staff enough. They explained to us we could hang around as long as our car took and to help ourselves to coffee (until breakfast time was over). Such good service cannot be over-praised. Thank you

Inexpensive food, nothing bad...meets expectations

An unmitigated disaster from booking the Christmas Day Menu for a family of four for £223.96 (an unanswered complaint since 18/12 except a guest service team auto-reply to say they will be in touch!) through to the Christmas Day Meal. Venue atmosphere was flat, no festive decorations in our area other than a cracker each. The staff were unhappy and complained their appalling table service and virtually complete lack of any service was because of the small number of staff on duty. We were closeted against a wall near the entrance and across from the toilets and had to search for staff when we needed help. The venue had very few customers at this point and still we were refused a different table. The food was pre-ordered and pre-paid. The starters took an age to arrive as did the inclusive glass of sparkling wine, so I was forced to go to the bar to order drinks while we waited. The Mains although pre-ordered had to be selected and collected from a typical self service carvery order point. I had pre-warned two of my party are elderly and disabled who required a plated table service. I served their meals at our table myself because the staff were unavailable and then had to have the meals warmed because the food and the gravy was between cold and lukewarm. It didn’t get any better, the desserts took 45 minutes to arrive and we gave up waiting for hot drinks to conclude and left in disgust. Take my tip and do not make my mistake of heading here for a Christmas Day pre-ordered, pre-paid meal. I wouldn’t even recommend going for Boxing Day, it would spoil your Christmas as it did ours, and even though our pre-paid bill would have been £120 less on Boxing Day for the same menu, it’s nothing more than a Sunday Carvery and the miserable atmosphere and staff made a joyous occasion, extremely bah humbug!

Had a fantastic dining experience tonight (18/12). We had 3 courses from various menus (festive, normal, kids). Nothing was a problem, all requests were met. I personally had the beef yorkie starter, Festive steak and cheesecake for dessert. It was all well presented and cooked to perfection. Kerry-Ann was an amazing server. Very attentive with our 6YO son and a very warm and welcoming person. Sandra the host (manager) was warm and welcoming and checked in to make sure we were okay. Thanks for a fantastic evening. Definitely recommend a visit.

Visited on at 5.30 on a Saturday afternoon, it was very quiet with only a hand full of tables being used. We had gone here specifically for their festive menu (as the normal menu is very small and mostly consists of everything being smothered in BBQ sauce - with no option to ask to swap it to something else. This included garlic mushrooms in BBQ sauce!) As I said we came for the festive menu, had already checked it wasn't pre book only and had established it was available at our Ashford branch and within the date of our visit. So when we were told they weren't serving it we were disappointed and did consider leaving. But decided to order off their normal menu... We had three courses. The food was expensive given the quality. Nachos were soggy, meat was burnt and very over cooked including black chicken... Someone asked for no egg only to be served with egg all over their dinner. We were rushed into finishing our starter with people repeatedly checking to ask if we were done yet and then loudly saying they're not done to co workers in a grumpy way... When asked for clarification on what an apple Betty (pudding) was they said I can't explain it you'll have to see it. Several things on the normal menu (which was very limited) were out of stock. Saying they didn't have the ingredients. To top it off, During our visit we were sat near the kitchen and noticed most of what was going out was actually off the festive menu which I was told was not available. After paying I asked our waitress why we were told it was not being served and yet clearly was - we were told that two larger tables had ordered it and the chef had approved this but that they were worried the kitchen couldn't cope if large amounts ordered from this menu therefore all smaller groups were told they couldn't order from it (there were five of us). This seemed unfair. But I politely said this should perhaps be stated on the website as it was the only reason we chose that location. Another waitress came up behind me and aggressively raised her voice saying it's subject to availability (well not really given the fact they had it and just couldn't cope with cooking it?!) I repeated this should be on their website and she shouted "it is" I told her it wasn't. And she shouted "it's in terms and conditions" when I informed her I'd actually read the terms and conditions before mentioning anything she shouted "well it's in the menu" and quickly ran off behind the bar. The attitude was completely unacceptable especially given the fact I was politely giving feedback which I simply would have liked them to pass on to their managers. Not only this but the general environment is not great with peeled leather seats (by that I do mean barely any leather left) and rust all over the radiator in the bathroom which is situated right under the hand dryer (which blows all the germs from the rust onto your lovely clean hands). We felt rushed and that the service and food quality was awful. We spoke to fellow customers on our way out who had to wait nearly an hour for their order to be taken, and who had also been annoyed at the refused festive menu despite other tables getting it (it seems this place really does pick and choose!). Do not recommend it at all.

Good do with hiring more staff, food is nice, great quality

We had a nice meal with their lunchtime specials, which was good value for money. The staff were really helpful, and the atmosphere was very cosy with log fires going. Really enjoyable.

Dirty poor standards staff had been coughing all over food and drink dirty cutlery and the food was awful don’t even drink there let alone eat the food.

Dreadful service and food not much better. Visited a couple of weeks ago and left feedback with company to which we still have not had a response from either!!

Absolutely lovely and very enjoyable

Nice place for a drink or meal. The bar area (to the left as you walk in) is a great place for drinks and snacks. The restaurant is quite spacious with plenty of tables. There's usually some good deals available too, particularly on the children's menu. The car park is quite large and is free for 3 hours once you've registered your details.

AVOID THIS PLACE….. How is this Restaurant Still Running !!!! This is a very basic menu that is overpriced and cooked badly. An example of this would we the “ table side of garlic bread” two tiny slices came out for the price of nearly £5. Tescos sell 10 of these for £1.50 The mixed grill may as well of been served on a Saucer. The salad had no avocado which was on the menu. The burger and chips looked like it had been recovered from McDonald’s bin over the road. The Kids meal was ok but at £6 it does make you question where the other £52 came from.. We came home and had pudding… Save your money and go to McDonald’s over the road. Better food, better service and a fraction of the price. We don’t mind paying a fair price for fair food but this place makes a joke out of you. We won’t be going back

Sep 2023 An excellent family meal. 4 adults, 3 children. We booked the table on the afternoon of our meal, and were seated very quickly. We were served by Vikki P, who was very attentive and friendly. The drinks came out quickly, and then the food. All of us really enjoyed our meals, and my children loved theirs! Nothing was too much for Vikki, and she even gave us personalised details after I joked ("joked") about having extra chocolate sauce on my triple chocolate brownie. The brownie was covered, which made me VERY happy! Overall, a very enjoyable experience. We'll be back!

A great place for families and groups, but there's a long wait between ordering your meal and having it brought to you. But since my previous comment, the service has much improved and the staff are very friendly.

I booked for my Partners Birthday and was greeted by the Manager who was very polite and very helpful. The manager remembered all our orders with out a pen and paper which on a busy day was impressive. The staff was friendly, food was very well cooked and tasted amazing and for the price could not complain. The manager saw that our young daughter didn't like the sauce in her burger so without telling us came out with a fresh burger with a fresh burger for her. The staff then brought out her birthday cake and was singing happy birthday. The staff was on the ball and the wait times was not that long.

Went here for the Sunday carvery and it was pretty good. Only one veggie option for me, it was OK but the meat eaters were impressed. The gravy and stuffing were vegetarian and was very tasty. Nearly broke my teeth on r the parsnips though, rock hard. You can go back for extra veg if you have room... Staff were really good. Will return for another roasty .

I stayed at the premier inn. I used table table for food. On arrival, I cannot thank the Scottish lady enough. She was awesome. I was desperate for the loo and she got my drink etc ready while I went (took me 13 hours to arrive) I came out the loo and my drink was on the bar waiting. Lovely friendly lady and wonderful chat. Saturday morning I had breakfast booked, it was delicious and plenty available, again all staff were lovely. Saturday evening me and my family went for drinks and Alfie was so wonderful, treated us like friends and it was noted. Nothing too much bother. He is a huge credit to the team. Sunday I skipped breakfast and Sunday evening I could not decide on dinner. I waited but did book a table using the website. When I came for a table I got ignored for a short time then a comment from a member or staff (larger fella, dark hair and glasses) of...... Why do you always leave it until last minute? Now, he was smiling so may of been a joke to him, but for me.... this was my one and only evening meal, and yes booked a table last minute. I have many health issues and often am unsure if I can eat, so yes I was only booked in with 30min notice, that was due to my health issues, why book dinner if I then cannot eat due to my health? I wanted to ensure I could eat before deciding and messing people about. I ignored him, (in my opinion, never judge a customer, you do not know their situation) the lovely Alfie on Sunday evening showed me to my seat and took a drink order, friendly and chatty as ever. Then Mathew came and took my order. He was very busy but still look the time to see how i was. I ordered steak, medium to well done. It was more.... a bit past well done, but due to my health issue, I don't eat much. So I ate what I could manage. Mathew cleared my table when I was done and was very caring. He asked if I wanted anything else, how I was etc. I had another drink (again the wonderful Alfie took care of me) then headed to bed. Alfie, Mathew and the Scottish lady are super members of the team. However, I do think the other chap needs additional training. Judging customers is not acceptable. My very bald head as a women should of screamed this women has health issues. I booked a table, in good time and above board... I didn't need judging for my one and only evening meal. But like I said... rest of the guys were amazing. But that comment about why leave to last minute did spoil my evening. It made me low and not want to eat.

The service and staff are lovely. But the cooking needs to be improving as the onion rings were rock solid. But the main meal was lovely.

We have been here a few times in the last few months, and we have all had something scrumptious to eat. We leave so full after just the main course and it is at a fair price.

Father's day meal. Mostly empty but still enjoyable. Taps in the toilet are scaldingly hot! No option to only use cold water so we couldn't wash our hands. Server needs training on identifying the dishes. Delivering a tray of burgers she asked who ordered the one with "what looks like a bit of salad on it?". The cook missed adding the tortilla chips to my chicken fajita burger. We also had two steaks - one gristly and the other perfect.

A lovely weekday lunchtime meal. Great service with friendly chatter and great communication about menu options. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. An enjoyable experience overall.

Nice food pleasant staff food served quickly and presented nicely

I attended with my partner, I had the chicken wings to start and she had potato skins both really good! I had the chicken and ribs, ribs were over cooked but not inedible and the chicken was on the drier side of cooked, however it all tasted fine and the chips were good, coleslaw was tasty, partner had the smothered platter and the steak was over cooked and inedible, it was remade and again over cooked and inedible. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and apologetic when needed. The atmosphere was okay. I would have to return to table table to see if the experience was a one off as we went once before and it was brilliant.

I stayed at the hotel and came here for dinner and breakfast on a few occasions. Food was good, but even better was the service. I am autistic, and I made this known on my booking along with a note of some accommodations which help me. All the staff were really great, made sure to provide these accommodations and check that I was ok. All in all, it made my experience so much easier, and made me feel so valued and supported as a customer, rather than feeling like an inconvenience. I really really want to commend the staff on their disability awareness. Thank you so much!

Had a meal for 5 people here last night. The staff were very friendly and the service top rate. The food was exceptionally cheap as a number of us took the special offer of a pie main course and pudding for £8.99. The quality was good and served very promptly. A very pleasant time was had but all and we will return in the near future.

Pretty dire. Food was luke warm, service was slow. Opted for 2 kids meals and assumed we could order the kids desserts after the mains, only to be tpld that because we hadnt ordered everything at the same time, we had to oay for the desserts again (which were included in the kids meals) No one checked on how the food was and bar man didnt budge on the dessert policy!
