Fred's Pizzas in Newcastle upon Tyne

Nice kebabs here, tried the XL Kebab and it was deffo worth the money. Burgers are nice too Can't comment on pizzas though coz I have not had one.

Great thin crust margarita and homemade chips

These guys have done it again not only Love their pizza and most of all there chips are unreal. They are friendly and kind always speak to me. Make me feel valued too. We seen them on Facebook and they are lush deserts. Pizza, garlic , and chips. Honeslty all just lush. I know it seems over the top but it definitely the best place and now they have added deserts home made you get 5star plus. I don’t ever do reviews really but this deserves to be told.

Lovely pizza for the grandchildren as always fresh baked and piping hot .

Told us the donner meat lamb, turns out its beef goimg against our religion.. bought over £60 worth of food … will be taking this further!

Came on the 24th of June and the staff told me the kebab meat was lamb i then asked today and was told it has always been beef& chicken im not happy and will be taking further action

I meant to give this a 5 star best food all round I have tried Mr America but not a patch on freds for quality and quantity my favourite takeaway for pizzas and kebabs well done fred

Lost count of the amount of times I've eaten from here. Never disappoints. Kebab meat is the best I've tasted. Pizzas are spot on.

Put in order waited over 90 mins and when called says they are closed

Would rate a no star if I could ordered here few weeks ago my child and sister was I'll with food poisoning for 48hrs non stop been sick and diarrhea so no wouldn't use ever again.

Rang order in waited 75mins. And part order missing. Rang up got told they were on there way 20 mins later still not here. I told her pizzas were just barely warm. £20 for part order missing and have to heat up pizzas in microwave. Got told they were busy, yeah right don’t take anymore orders.

Great place. Staff are nice, service is great. Food is nice and reasonably priced. Cant fault.

I’ve used freds for 30 years and spent 1000s of pounds there over those years. Today I went in and got a kebab with salad . The meat was stone cold and was so scrappy that my dog even walked away from it. This was once the best take away in Newcastle, now it’s the worst on Benwell. Seriously I will never use this place again

Best pizza and kebab around here, whenever i want a nice kebab which isnt often i go to Freds, it's hot when it arrives its very tasty, hubby loves the pizzas too, definitely recommend this place

Excellent customer service and satisfaction. I accidentally pressed prawns on my meat pizza and when I rang freds, they without hesitation offered to make me a new free pizza. Thank you much appreciated 🙏

Most of the time there pizzas or mouth watering lovely, but the last one I ordered I was very disappointed

Ckn was as dry as a nuns noo noo. Chilly sauce very sour. Waste of 20 quid

Fantastic pizzas, kebabs and chips. We order a few most weeks and this is the best we have found in over a decade. Food is always hot and fast. Keep up the good work.

the worst pizza I've ever eaten !! pizza full of oil and ingredients hidden under the mozzarella! if I order 2 different pizzas you can't tell them apart because they look like Margherita ! the fries looked like dog food

Friendly and helpful staff. Pizza's are normally excellent, but sometimes quality control is lacking and the pizza can have undercooked sections.

Did not rate this much. Got a kebab box last night, chips tasted like they had been reheated the chicken was really really salty and the garlic sauce was runny and tasted bitter. Me and my family all hve a bad stomach today.

Been getting Scran from here for years now on and off and it's consistently been decent especially when hammered!

Food is always spot on.Pizzas diff class to big American chains.They got delivery order slightly wrong, Had a delivery driver (or manager)at the door within minutes, to rectify the problem.Thats customer service for you! Some local Take aways could learn from this.

Ordered kebab wrap with salad for my girlfriend and kebab wrap with onions for myself ordered garlic sauce and chilli sauce come kebab wrap no onions, carton garlic sauce kebab wrap with salad full of chilli sauce which my girlfriend doesn't like Couldn't get one thing right!! Had a strange sour taste and it all went in the bin

The staff are great and the food is good what more could you ask for. If your expecting anything more then you would expect to pay more.

Ordered two cheese burgers, one with onions and one with onions and lettuce. Received two horrible, cheap looking chicken burgers. One with lettuce only, one in an empty bun. Needless to say I won't be using this place again, rubbish.

Staffs attitude was stinking !!! never ordering from here again ..

Don't know what happened to feeds kebabs and wraps tiny portions chips stale kebab meat horrible used to use feeds all the time never going back all food in the bin

Fred's Pizzas is one of our favourite takeaways. The staff are friendly, the food is great and it looks nice too!

Umm just stick to pizza I think.. had pie and chips from there tonight, the pie was rock hard and a bit stale chips slightly under cooked and took 10 mins to serve it up..

Not the cheapest but my God they use the best ingredients... Just thinking about a Fred's is making me hungry! If you have the spare cash it is worth the try

Ordered a pizza it was an hour late so i said to the delivery driver i hope it hot mind he then started verbally abusing me and at that point i shut the door and rang the shop which they replied if i didnt like it i cud go elsewhere. So moral of the story do not buy pizzas from this shop. And yes the pizza was cold.

I usually love Fred's Pizzas but every now and then I have a bad experience where it takes ages for it to be delivered (without any prior warning) and then it turns up lukewarm/cold. Disappointing. A recommendation would be for them to indicate when ordering online how long it will take to be delivered in advance, with the option to subsequently cancel the order if the time exceeds expectations. I would still order again but disappointing on this occasion.

It offers a high quality service along with friendly workers . The good the service is of a high quality also.
