German Doner Kebab in Newcastle upon Tyne

Missed half my order out and gave me the wrong wrap.

Never had a bad experience with GDK. The server was lovely, what a kind diligent young lady. I had mixed kebab meal box, with fries and spring rolls and a drink.. highly recommend!

I have been in today and my meal i got was cold i have sent it back and got a wot was ment to be hot was still cold never again will a go in for food the staff never asked if their was any problems did we enjoy are food one thing i can say is if chantelle had been on i would have had hot food and treat nicely think mangement needs to check staff out

Nice food, especially the new main rice with chicken kebab. Professional service and friendly staff. I ordered Ayran, but it was out of stock, so Maiesha offered me an alternative drink without any extra charge. Very commended place to enjoy a meal.

Got delivery and this place is getting worse portion sizes are ridiculously small large chips is the same size as a kids fries from McDonald’s, was cold, missing items and wrong items delivered last time we go here should be ashamed.

Always a delight to come here and great for if you want a healthier, lower calorie kebab. Shout out to Maiesha for being an absolute queen and being so helpful, she was an absolute delight to be served by. Would absolutely recommend coming here. Also the curry hash browns are lush

Review for German Doner Kebab – Very Disappointed Spent around £60 for five of us, and it was a complete letdown. Two of our orders were wrong, and my mixed kebab with rice was mostly doner—about 90%—with barely a tablespoon of chicken. When I complained, the kitchen staff, particularly one lady, was extremely rude and unhelpful. The portion sizes were ridiculously small for the price, making it poor value for money. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and I won’t be returning.

The food was awesome and atmosphere was really calming. Staff Anjali was friendly and willing to explain without any hesitation along with Maisha. Felt so comfortable to ask for best kebab and allergies. The service was brilliant.

The staffs were friendly especially Anjali and Maiesha were friendly. They helped to clear our doubt about the offers and also suggested good kebabs. Overall the atmosphere and service was satisfying.

Mmmmm. Delicious. Can be a little expensive but 25% off with just eat and free delivery brings it down quite a bit. But the food is very nice ( small portions ) if you want quality over quantity this is the go to place .

Lovely food, but you don't get enough of it, paid £20 and got a quarter of a kebab and a added double beef

beautiful food, but the food was not enough only got 4 long strips of kebab meat and I ordered double beef and the fries was one handful if your lucky for nearly £13 it's not worth the money and I won't be back

“Kebabs done right” clearly not 🤣I visited German Donner Kebab and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a mixed donner box with fries and salad. The chicken I received was quite clearly raw, When I brought it up to the staff they claimed it was “normal” and refused to give me a refund or make me a new one. The inadequate manager thought it was appropriate to tell me to come to the back so i can check the chicken meat myself?🤣 am I a staff member or customer?he had the cheek to refuse the refund because apparently I had “ate most of it”. I had eaten the top layer which was the salad and underneath was the meat which was untouched. if I fancied having raw chicken for my dinner I would have went to a farm and caught one my self. Appalling service and very useless staff.

By the time the food actually arrived, over an hour after the original stated time, it was pretty much stone cold. The driver had it with him for 50 minutes whilst he delivered to lots of other different places before. The food would have probably been really nice if it wasn’t cold and soggy!

Frozen cold when I got it. Had to warm it up. So the meat was like rubber. So disappointed.

Really cold. Got 8 hash browns not 12 and no sauces. It wasn't in a box so everything just fell out into the paper bag it got delivered in. The last one 1 got was bad but thought it was a 1 off. This time was worse. Never again.

I was served by Maiesha and Anjali today. The food was good not a problem however what made my visit pleasant was the server. From taking my order to service and making sure ive got no allergies and with that top notch behaviour. I was so happy. 10/10 for customer service.

Ordered off deliveroo, doner was absolutely disgusting and pretty flavourless I was disappointed. I also Ordered some mini donuts which came with a chocolate sauce, they were beyond average. Save ur money and go elsewhere it's really not all that.

i ordered from here last night and now have food poisoning

ordered on uber and got a call off the alleged manager saying they couldn’t make my order because it would take too long and they can’t cancel it. they said they would send me chips, salad and a wrap. i said it would be fine as long as they were being honest . they sent me a salad box instead with nothing else. this is a waste of my time and money and i got not one thing i ordered.
