Our food was nice, but wasn’t anything special. The service was quite slow even though the restaurant wasn’t that busy which was disappointing.

Jessica was super helpful tonight, my daughter was having a bit of a moment during our food and she was so accommodating kind and patient . Thank you very much for helping us

Very disappointing. Won't be back. Went last Year October (2023). It was their usual brilliant standard. Same aesthetic, same food. It was brilliant. Today however was so far from the many good meals I've had here. I can understand now why in recent years there's only a handful of restaurants left. Which I was surprised about. But I just don't think they have been on trend for a long time. So they've gone for a total modern rebrand. Painted all the lovely oak wood in grey tones. Re upholstered the booths. Modern lighting. Painted brick work. New tiles in bathroom. Blinds on the windows showing New York scenes. Brand new menu and dishes. With their added Frankie and Benny's classics. I booked a table but didn't need to as they weren't even half full. We waited ages to be seated. I'm disabled use a crutch and can't stand for ages. A server was just casually having a conversation at the bar with a customer. I had the spaghetti and meatballs. My friend has the chicken piccante. A coke zero and a Fanta. And they're classic garlic pizza bread with cheese. I ate the spaghetti and left the meatballs. They didn't taste fresh, tasted like maybe they was brought pre-made and frozen, or left over from the day or the night before. Garlic pizza bread wasn't great either. Swimming in oil and just no substance to the dough. Chicken piccante wasn't quite edible either. Told the waitress and their manager took the charge off for the meatballs. Really wouldn't recommend going. I won't be going again. No blaring cliff Richard "congratulations". I don't think they do it any more. It doesn't fit with their rebrand. For me they need to get back to their roots. Back then you used to wait hours for tables and have the little buzzer things. These places used to be packed out. Same music. You used to be able to buy CDs and condiments. Which they haven't done for a very long time.

Came in today for my daughter's birthday, we was welcomed.... staff friendly... seated very quickly, had a lovely time. Thankyou, 4 stars for food was because of the puddings, my kids don't like food touching each other 🤣, but easily sorted. I work in this industry and I was happy overall xx

No matter how busy it is, we always get a table and are greeted by the friendliest and happiest of staff who always deliver the best service. Also, thank you to the cooks who do the BEST food - 100% recommend the the BBQ Brisket Loaded Fries!!

Nuno always makes my day when I come here. I love his happy positive upbeat personality. So friendly and great service always.

Today my best friend was served by Mark who clearly did not understand the customer service part of his job as rather explaining politely how the menu works when you have a gluten free version of a plate he decided to use snarky remarks to answer her questions. Hopefully when we go next time any questions will be answered with a helpful manner and not a snarky one. Could have been so different if he could have just answered politely instead of making it seem like the question she was asking was stupid and ghastly!

Quick and friendly service, food was great

always come in to the restaurant and it’s beautiful! but this is the 3rd takeaway we’ve had and it was awful ! meatballs burnt , tiny portions, garlic bread was like cardboard! won’t be ordering online again!

Myself and my partner came here for a nice little date night out. Honestly we can't recommend this place enough the food is absolutely amazing and the quality of service is top notch. We had Nuno as our server and I have to say he went above and beyond to ensure our meal experience was amazing, such an asset to the team.

I paid £16 for a lasagne that wouldn't fill up a toddler ! Food was nice however , service lovely too and fast. They also dont do the wraps anymore which is the reason franky and bennys was my fav place. Only down fall is i paid £16 ish for a microwave lasagne that was about 4 mouthfuls that i could have got for £4 at asda. i left still hungry and craving a franky n bennys wrap. Thank god the frankys fruit punch is still on the menu.

We called in for a meal after a bit of shopping. We were seated straight away and read the menu as always I chose the half rack of ribs but they have cut the meal down even further by not adding the sweetcorn now. When it arrived it did look a small portion for the price you pay not sure if I'd go back. But the dessert was lovely apple crumble would highly recommend it.

Nuno was fabulous. He gave Great service, smiles and jokes. Was quick to provide ice water and always on hand with napkins and anything we needed. He is a great host. I'd go back, just for his service. Fantastic. Highly recommended. Food was good mostly. Mac and cheese a bit dry but besides that all was fab. We had starters, main and puddings. Great service. Quick and hot.

Visited Frankie & Bennys Saturday evening with my wife and a few family friends. The service we received was faultless. My wife is lactose intolerant, we were asked on arrival by the manager if any of us had any dietary requirements, and she was looked after from start to finish. We had a lovely evening and although the food was tasty, nothing could top the service from Managers and Staff. They are attentive, friendly and exactly what hospitality should be.

Haven’t been to Frankies and Bennys in years but it was such a good experience . Service was really good and had a warm welcoming at the door, a good atmosphere and the food was lovely as well. We will definitely be coming back.

The Team at Frankie’s Giltbrook blew us away the first time we visited and continue to deliver outstanding service in a family friendly environment, couple that with the amazing food…. Well it’s a recipe for a great night out, well done Nuno our server and his great colleagues Mark, Jess & Jasmin

Went for breakfast.had nothing hardly left.poached egg on a bed of avocado.with bacon.didnt take long to come.did not look appetising.you couldn't find the avocado.just ran a knife over like wafer thin.eggs overdone.bacon tasted off.the rind was roar and yellow.would not go again.

Food always great. Today was very busy but staff never stopped. Kept on top, always polite and upbeat.

Waited a good 15/20 minutes from being seated to have our food and drink order taken. Food was nice but expensive. Waiter walked off before I could ask for condiments. Despite the restaurant being quite large, they lumped everyone in one area so it was really loud with everyone talking. The worst part was being prompted for a 5%, 10%, or 15% tip on the card machine at the end of the meal. No option to select 'no tip', you must click on 'custom amount' and leave £0.00. Won't be back in a hurry.

Delivery was bang on time, and the food was excellent. I will definitely be ordering again.

We came here for my sister’s 18th, which was the first time in years, and it definitely didn’t disappoint; food is lovely, prices are fair and the staff are friendly. There is a wide range of food and drink on the menu and the food arrived quickly after ordering. My sister got a complimentary ice cream with a candle for her birthday as the staff sung to her which was a lovely gesture (although she was a little embarrassed!). Mark was especially lovely and made us laugh whilst we were there! We will be back again soon.

We came yesterday(Tuesday 14th May around 1pm) for a meal. The guy serving us was so lovely & made us feel so comfortable. I didn't get his name but he wasn't english he's great! He really made our visit worth coming he's a credit to the restaurant. The food was amazing & tasty. My only thing was the coleslaw wasn't homemade it was like the supermarket kind but still okay. The strawberry milkshake was amazing! Look forward to our next visit😊

Bad atmosphere, very noisy with common people. Food was very disappointing, really expected better. Waitress attending was friendly and good. Waitress delivering was rather the opposite. Cost us £74 for 2.5 people and couldn't wait to get out.

Nuno was the highlight of our visit! Very friendly and attentive. Lots of smiles, jokes and laughs! Brilliant service and amazing food as always. Would recommend coming to this branch just to be entertained by Nuno

Great food and very good customer service

Inside nice surroundings. But the drink/,food Nope. I drink real ale- had none. As for the food - the ribs my wife had were very nice- BUT the sweetcorn was dry tasteless and burnt. The chips too were burnt. And they should consider doing a small portion for a child- my daughter is 10)- she left half of it as too much. So lots of waste! Less waste reduce cost/ price. Would We go there again - erm not by choice.

Myself& my auntie came to Frankie and bennies today , we was created at the door and was told it was a 30 minute wait however it all came out in 20 minutes, I think this was as it leaves us customer nicely surprised for it coming out earlier. A lovely lady who I didn’t get chance to catch the name off ( she had a couple tattoos on her arm , and long hair ) wish I could give her the credit so deserved she was absolutely lovely and took amazing care off off both ! A massive thankyou

Went for breakfast the server we had was great he couldn't do enough for you although the food portion was tiny and almost cold. I had poached egg and advocado on muffins, the egg was almost boiled and barely a teaspoon of avocado to cover two doughy muffins

My partner ordered the sirloin steak, comes with onion rings, mushrooms, a half girlled tomato and skin on fries, with peppercorn sauce. After waiting a while for the food to come we were informed they had run out of peppercorn sauce. Not a big issue; my partner opted for the garlic and herb butter instead. On receiving our food my partner noticed no mushrooms on his plate, asked our server Mark who went to find out why he didn’t get them… that’s because they had run out of them and had not bothered to pass that information on to the customer, until they asked why! Not great service in my eye. Ordered puddings to take away and again my partner asked for lemon meringue without cream, got home and lo and behold cream on his desert. Fair to say, he wasn’t impressed.

Food was good. The only thing was my garlic bread was a bit well done and really crispy on the edges.

Mother's Day breakfast...A couple of basic breakfast food items not available,slow service although not really busy,due to being short staffed?Coffee served well before the food arrived so it was cold when drunk with the food.Not worth the extra expense over other local rivals...🙁

I came here with my wife and 3 young kids on a spur of the moment visit whilst buying furniture from IKEA. From what I experienced, it was clean and tidy but the tables were ridiculously tight. I’m average height at 5’ 11’’ and not overweight but I had nowhere to put my legs as my knees were obstructed by the table post and the benches seemed really tight and close to the ones opposite, it was really uncomfortable. I felt like I was sat on top of my family. The food we ordered was cooked well but it didn’t get me excited. A burger and some fries. Not even a side of salad or anything, the plate just looked beige. My wife and I also compared portion size of our main meals to the kids and honestly, we should have ordered kids meals because there wasn’t a big difference, a few more chips and that’s it, it didn’t justify the price. Our host was a nice chap but he was outrageously flirty towards my wife, at our table, without a care in the world. I wasn’t concerned he was going to steal my wife but it was just rude. Like, I’m right here at the table whilst you’re calling my wife ‘darlin’ every 30 seconds and swooning around like it’s a dirty dancing parody. Last but not least - the gents needs sorting before a minor or female accuses the user of indecent exposure. As you go into the toilet foyer, the gents is the door straight ahead. You open that door and you’re faced with the men’s urinals. There’s the thinnest sheet of wood between the urinals and the door which cover absolutely nothing. Someone opens the door and can see everything. Thought I’d make people aware. Overall, Average. Definitely wouldn’t return though.

I haven’t received my delivery

Went for my birthday and it was amazing big props to the servers that where on shift the 2nd of March wizzing round getting orders done but still able to have a conversation with you if you have questions .The Food was top notch as per usual. And the atmosphere was nice and calm while still having a sense of excitement it was a nice environment to be in.

We had a lovely afternoon here, waiter was great and very friendly with all. Only letdown was my Crispy BBQ Chicken and fries were slightly overcooked. The chicken was nice but had no taste of bbq, in fact I had to take the crispy part off the chicken as was so dry and unflavoured. One of my party had Lasagne and told me afterwards this was burnt too. Not sure if I would return because of this. The atmosphere was great, seating perfect. Premises nice and clean and was looked after by the waiter very well, just a shame about food.

It was awful service and the food wasn't that good either. Ordered calamari fry as starter but it looked like it wasn't fresh and had rotten smell. Food wasn't hot at all and service was too slow. I am not going to visit this place again.

The burger and chips were delicious! Chips portion was a little smaller than expected, but the burger was so big I couldn't have eaten them all if there were more :D Driver was also very polite. Great experience overall!

Had 1st ever delivery from F&B Giltbrook all I can say is RUBBISH!! Garlic bread BURNT!! Pizza COLD and toppings off the base pasta dish was perfect but never again!! Sending out burnt food is not acceptable!!

This was NOT an eat in but a delivery by just easts. We have eaten at the Giltbrook venue many time had a few issues but satisfactory resolve at the time. Our delivery how ever was terrible!! Food cold, burnt and think the drive must of gone off road as our pizza topping left the base!!

Shocking! We eat at F&B regularly so know the standard of food. Garlic bread not edible - black and burnt. The driver must have took a corner sharp as toppings were all on one side of pizza. I’m disgusted for £30 it cost!!!!

We have been here many times, unfortunately our most recent visit wasn't great, the food wasn't brought out together so some of us were sat watching others eat, the food quality was poorer than usual. If you have hired new kitchen staff i don't think this is the right place for them, they didn't seem overly nice at all and were quite antagonistic towards waiting staff

For the price they charge, the food wasn't very good at all. I had bolognaise, I could make better myself, the double cheese burger for £17.50 !!! Was large, but burnt and bland. The carbonara with chicken was ok. A little disappointing for the price. Wouldn't be in a hurry to return ☹️

Very disappointing. We were shown and seated at dirty tables. Many items of food that we wanted to order were unavailable. Food arrived luke warm. Food wasn't nice, poor quality, cheap chicken, small portion and tasteless. Do not mind paying for a decent meal but this was totally overpriced. We will not be returning and would advice others not too.

We went for a meal here it was awful. Lemon pepper salmon was dire, no taste of lemon or pepper, salmon was dry cheesy mash was dry the broccoli looked like it was days old. Pasta dish was bland daughter left most of it. Not worth the money

Starting to get a bit frustrated with ordering food through Uber eats. Not sure who is working in the kitchen but they’re not really paying attention. Just ordered a big cheese stack. And loaded fries. The fries are half empty. I have around 6 chips in my box and loaded with way too much chicken to hide how little chips they have added. The burger has no lettuce.(I’ve had to add lettuce from home… defeats the whole purpose of “takeout” ) Or hardly any of the stuff that’s supposed to be in. The burger is dry and honestly after a hard week at work and you want to unwind and eat a nice takeaway I’m not going to bother with stacks in the future. Over 25 pounds of food and it’s extremely disappointing. If the manager could have a word with the kitchen staff that would be great 👍

The chicken parmigiana was good , nice and hot but very salty. The greens had a lovely pesto on it. The prosecco was flat but changed quickly to a fresh one. The server didn't ask me about my meal until the end despite it being very quiet. She was very pleasant though!

Had breakfast here on 2nd Dec 2023. Staff were friendly. Very clean, Tables cleaned and seat wiped down as people left. Coffee was about £5 brought to table. Breakfast was reallt good, service was great. Seating layout is perfect. Had some privacy. Would visit again.

We were served by a really nice young girl but there was a girl who was in there who was very confident and full of her own importance wasn’t doing anything other than saying she had to do something ?? Food was cold and bland and no one came to follow up how things were for us which is bad practice especially for a large chain The last time we went the guy who was there was so friendly and good but he wasn’t there on Sunday Very disappointing food and service we wont be rushing back

I would just like to thank all of the staff today that helped out when my mum fell in the restaurant , they were quick to attend & they called for the paramedics as she also passed out . It was very traumatic at the time , but luckily nothing was broken & she now feels fine apart from a wrist strain & a small cut on her finger . Thanks so much to all that helped especially Mick who got her into recovery position 🙏.

Ordered £70 worth of food from here which included 4 meals and lots of sides for each meal, we only received 2 meals and non of the sides, when ringing to sort this out they put the phone down and would not answer it, after asking for a refund for the missing items which they refused the refund, we had to order more food from somewhere else! After all this our food was cold and the burger was over cooked Absolutely shocking service, would not recommend for delivery, personally I won’t be using frankie and bennys again after this

Wasn't a meal really, slightly disappointed.

Pizza was alright but everything else was less than average. We had to mix the pasta dishes ourselves as it was just thrown into the boxes. Shame really as F&B used to be a good food experience. Don't order if you remember the good old F&B's.

Went on a Tuesday after going to IKEA. Was mid afternoon so fairly quiet. Food great, service excellent.

Stopped here for breakfast at the beginning of a road trip. The food was lovely and the lady who looked after us whilst we were there was super quick, efficient and friendly (especially with little boy). A wonderful detour after our original breakfast spot was too busy to accommodate us!

Great food. Super fast delivery. Was a little bit cool when it arrived but i zapped it in the microwave to warm it up a bit.

We ordered food for delivery through Uber. We ordered a cheeseburger with fries, Mac and cheese with sweet potato fries and a waffle pudding. The sweet potato fries were ice cold as if they had been inside a freezer and a VERY small portion size. The mac and cheese tasted of nothing. It was just pasta in some plain white sauce. No cheese on top, zero taste. The burger didn't appear cooked and was also stone cold. The waffle was ice cold and only had about a teaspoons worth of toppings right in the centre of the waffle instead of coating all the top like in the photo. It was also pictured with ice-cream, there was no message on the menu to say that the ice-cream wasn't included so we thought it would arrive with ice cream.... It didn't. The waffle tasted uncooked and was pretty inedible. We ended up throwing away most of the food and ordering from somewhere else. If I'm spending £40 on a meal from a large restaurant chain, I expect the food to be at least edible. Uber hasn't given us a refund. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone after the poor quality and portion size we received. We appreciate food can sometimes be colder when delivered but not ICE COLD all the way through and quite clearly undercooked. This wasn't just a case of the food cooling down in transport, unless our delivery driver stuck our food Inside a fridge in his car and also ate half our food before it arrived. Absolutely do not order from this restaurant if you want food you can eat, might as well just go to Mc donalds.

Twice now I have ordered the veggie MUSHROOM and tomato hash breakfast even after applying a note asking them not to forget them my mushrooms are still yet to be seen! My pregnancy cravings have not been fulfilled and I am sad cause I really do enjoy this breakfast ;D

I went to Franky & Benny's on Friday just gone and had an absolutely amazing meal. For starters, I chose the Southern Fried Chicken Strips which came with a delicious BBQ sauce for dipping. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside - they were perfect. For my main, I got the Crispy Chicken Burger. It was stacked with a big breaded chicken patty, fresh tomato, lettuce and purple onion. A drizzle of mayo topped it off nicely. The flavors all came together so well in each bite. I have to say, it was one of the best chicken burgers I've ever had. The food was beautiful and so mouth wateringly good. I would give my whole experience at Frankie & Benny's a 10 out of 10. The service was great too. I'm definitely going to make a return trip in January to celebrate my 30th birthday. If you're looking for tasty grub, I highly recommend checking them out!
