Booked a table for my son's 10th birthday. We were running late so called the restaurant, they said it wasn't a problem as they weren't busy. Arrived late but was seated straight away in an almost empty restaurant. It took around 15 mins for a waiter to come to use to ask if we wanted drinks. As we had had so much time to talk and look at the menu we were able to order everything in one go. The food we bought to us in withing a reasonable time and was delicious, couldn't fault any of it. Our food arrived hot and generous portion sizes. Our waiter Tisha had noticed that my son was wearing a birthday badge and congratulated him on his birthday. After our mains we had decided we had enough food and declined pudding and asked for the bill. Tisha, along with 2 other colleagues came to our table with a bowl of brownies and ice cream for my son amd sang happy birthday to him. This was a beautiful touch to our meal and was a total shock to us all that they had done this for him. He loved the singing and the pudding even more. Overall, even after our rocky start to service it was a brilliant evening and my son said it was the best food he had ever had and it made his birthday. Thank you Tisha for your service. We will be back!

I just really, really enjoy going to Frankie & Benny's in Taplow, either spontaneously after you've done all your shopping or planned with family. I want to mention our waitress Laura - she's the kindest, loveliest person plus a very competent and speedy waitress. I like her bubbly personality. I also like the food, there is something for everyone, gluten-free, vegan, low calories.

Having revisited post covid, I was amazed by the staff's engagement and the restaurant's general atmosphere. I now have a demanding family of 3 children and this can be challenging especially if you have younger children - this was accommodated for perfectly with the activity provided for by Frankie & Benny's. More importantly, the drinks were quick to arrive, the food was tasty and we were made to feel more than welcome. So much so, that I went back the next day just to see if the experience was a once-off. You'll be glad to hear it wasn't!

I have eaten here many times over the years but I’m afraid that the quality of the food is slipping. Everything is now out of a packet and fairly average tasting. A simple cheese burger was pretty tasteless. How do you mess up a burger? Some things still nice like the ribs and calamari but too much is average now. I love the decor and great options but I’m not sure we will be returning anytime soon.

Had an amazing experience tonight with my 8 year old daughter. Our server... Jack... went above and beyond! Couldn't of catered to us anymore than he did. Even my little girl commented on how polite and friendly he was. Would definitely come back! Thank you Jack. You made our night.

Was served by a gentleman called Jack, amazing customer services skills. Making sure his customers were his priority. Looked after us all evening making sure we were okay and that our food was prefect for us. Frankie and Bennys are lucky to have Jack in their company. The food was amazing and definitely will come back. I will also recommend this restaurant to friends and family. Hopefully they will have Jack as their waiter.

Absolutely blown away by our visit to Frankie and Benny in Taplow. The staff was exceptional, from the Manager who welcomed us in - to our waitress who was so nice and friendly - everyone contributed to this being an awesome experience. The food was soo delicious! We had a lovely steak (which literally melted in the mouth, and was so tasty) and a loaded hot dog (which was also super flavoursome). Portions are a generous size. Will highly recommend, a great experience from start to finish. Shout-out to one of the staff breaking into song while waiting for food to be cooked, that was fun :) Well done everyone

After having an appalling visit next door at Bella italia with no food or drink after 45 minutes of waiting, we were relieved to have been accepted by the guys here as it was quite late and we were a table of 7, they did not hesitate and sat us straight away. We had a delightful visit from start to finish, very prompt service with both food and drinks all night, great customer service from the two gentlemen working. The food was very tasty and we were surprised by the portion size, it was generous and the reason that we chose next door over here in the first place was because of such small portion sizes we’ve been served previously. We want to thank the gentlemen massively as they saved our night and we went to bed watered and fed thankfully, we wouldn’t have otherwise .

Great atmosphere, which is helped by the staff who are charming. The food is as expected, all nicely cooked and tasting very good.

Have eaten here before and food was good so I ordered a takeaway, the ribs were soft but very bland, no taste whatsoever, sweet potato chips soggy but on the plus side corn on the cob was good, won't order from here again

The waitress kept touching our daughter, called us all darling atleast 50 times, the manger who was wearing spray on clothes thought he owned the place, kept shouting, slamming table trays in the bar and was constantly looking for attention, it was the most bizarre experience we have had a a eatery. Wouldn't go again, f & b so commercially driven, bit of a nonsense all those Italian pictures everywhere. The building itself is a bland glass box. Food very average and way overpriced for what you get. It selling authentic but its an impossible sell, totally missed the point. Avoid.

Just on our way home after a FANTASTIC meal at Frankie and bennies taplow. The food was delicious, brought out very quickly and great sized portions. An extra special thank you to Laura who served us, she made our evening extra special with her bubbly and enthusiastic personality!! THANK YOU LAURA! I love coming here, always a fab atmosphere, lovely staff and great food. They've made it extra safe with screens between booths. The staff always have a little chat with you and recognise their regulars. After a hard day, this place always cheers me up....

6 adults having a catch up meal. We did book and make a reservation. Have eaten at this location a few times before and have always been happy. Meals ranged from burgers, meat balls, fish n chips. I did ask for tartare sauce but they didn’t have any. 3 had puddings 1 had mini pudding and coffee. We had a 40% off mains voucher which we used. The lady that served us (she had stayed on beyond her shift end time due to customers) was very pleasant and helpful. All in all nice food and surroundings. No doubt we will be back at sometime.

Terrible experience at Frankie and Benny's in Taplow. Food was cold, kept waiting to pay and when we asked, our waitress wasn't able to do this and was waiting for someone else. Not a problem - although would have been better to tell us. Our waitress was busy hugging and joking around with the manager so we asked another waitress, 'Caitlyn', who was extremely rude to us and then continued to talk about us at the bar with two colleagues. Manager Reece(?) refunded but didn't make any attempts to separate the staff or stop them talking about us in front of customers. Left feeling extremely uncomfortable and shocked at how unprofessional the whole experience was. Certainly won't be returning.

Popped in today for our now traditional new years day breakfast. From the time we walked in the staff were welcoming. We were shown to our table and left for 5 mins to get settled. Our server came back to take the drinks order, I wish I had taken a note of her name, but missed this. Our food order was then taken I had the "Big One" used to be called the "Papa Grande" but still the same breakfast, the food arrived quickly, was cooked well and hot on arrival to the table. The whole experience at the restaurant today was superb. Well done to all the staff for making it a great visit. Thank you and happy new year.

Never been here before I usually use the restaurant next door , but I really like frankie and Benny’s..Not busy and in time for breakfast too, service was great very friendly and the food was hot and tasty as was the coffee... will come here again when in the areas..

We visited Taplow F&B; towards 17.00 on a Friday recently, yes it was quiet but Chris was so friendly and approchable right from the moement we walked in.

It was our first time here and from the moment we walked in we were noticed straight away, our waitress Laura took us straight to our table for four. She was very friendly and professional!

Went to have breakfast this morning at 8 o'clock not open even though printed on door , very disappointed as had meeting there . Waited till 8- 10 no sign of life apart from cleaner

This is such a fantastic restaurant. The food is cooked to perfection and is piping hot when served. Our waitress Loredana is one of the most friendliest people I have met and made a wonderful birthday evening so much more special. Laura and Rhys kept the smiles on our faces! What an amazing team! Today we went to F&B; Taplow for my birthday dinner. I was so happy that we decided to go there. The food and drinks were amazing. The food arrive pretty quick. Chris who was looking after us and servicing us was brilliant and welcoming.

I just want to say how grateful we are for the amazing service that we received from the team in Taplow.

The restaurant is large and family friendly. Unfortunately, the muzak was played at a very high volume, precluding any audible conversation! The service was swift and friendly and the food was good. Wine served at the correct temperature as was the food. There was a birthday celebration on the go and the staff made a really good job of making the birthday boy feel special. It was a pleasant outing and worth a return visit if ever in the area again. Free parking is available for a fixed period.

We’d book for around 40 people for my brothers surprise 30th birthday party, soon as I walked in I met our host who was called Adam, He was attentive nothing was a problem he made sure everyone always had a drink and the everyone was happy with everything including the kids with balloons ect. Staff was brilliant on night but Adam kept checking in with us we never had to go look for him and was brilliant separating all the different tabs at the end. Food was delicious. Thank you again very much appreciated.

Took advantage of a groupon deal which worked out excellent value for 2 courses. My niece had a simple margarita pizza, me a surprisingly tasty pasta dish with yummy black pepper chicken.

Each and everytime I come to Frankie and Benny's I get the best service ever the manager that I always have his name is Chris he is superb very friendly customer orientated and extremely polite. Excellent place to bring your family your date whatever you want even just a pop in and get a takeaway it is superb highly recommended.

My first experience of a Frankie & Benny's restaurant and was a little apprehensive but fortunately our server Loredana quickly put us at ease. She was a delight with the children and very friendly and professional. The food appeared in quick order including a vegan option which actually was very enjoyable. We hope to return very soon.

15 of us went out to lunch and the staff were attentive to us, when different individuals arrived they came over and took drink orders.

Had the hot wings to start, really good (decent portion, tasty, very hot BBQ sauce) then the house burger, looked quite small but was filling. Again was very tasty. The New York style cheesecake for dessert was stodgy and not very tasty. Disappointing. I love the booths, plus the Peroni on tap, and I like the easy kids menu with lots of options. Staff very friendly. Overall, a general thumbs up.

We visited Frankie & Benny's at Taplow, for our Grandaughter's 7th Birthday Celebration. Our Grandaughter loved it, as did all the rest of the party. Great food & great atmosphere. The main reason for writing this review, however, is to compliment and thank our waitress, Cara. She was amazing! She really did help to make our Granddaughter's Birthday celebration really special. She was very friendly, pleasant, humorous and very, very efficient, trying her utmost to oblige us. I have to say that she was one of the best waitresses I have ever encountered in my 68 years!!!

This was our 3rd visit for breakfast. The first visit was appalling and we waited far too long to be served so we walked out! After contacting the head office, we received a voucher which we used on our 2nd visit. This visit was much improved, only negative was the scraggy bits of fatty leftover bacon which was shocking! That said our waitress was so helpful and understanding(think her name was Laura) she took it away and replaced the bacon. Our third and recent visit was very, very good! I had the eggs Benedict with mushrooms and my son opted for the scrambled egg on toast with a side bowl of beans. Food was perfect and service was excellent. We were served by the same waitress on the 2nd visit. She is lovely and always smiling. Looking forward to the next visit for breakfast on Sunday morning

Went for late lunch , had mac and cheese which was ok , nice and hot. Daughter had vegan pizza which she enjoyed. Both ordered desserts waffle and toblerone cheesecake, however cheesecake was room temperature which was odd and very cheap tasteless vanilla ice cream

To be clear this review cannot speak for the food as we never received any. There were three of us on a Sunday morning attempting to get some breakfast, after being shown to our seats we were immediately asked if we would like some drinks and we're ready to order... Clearly not as the menus had bearly hit the table. We asked for some time and unbeknownst to us that this was a mistake as we would not see the waiter again for another good 10 mins. Having been given enough time to read the menu several times we were ready to order both drinks and food, three coffees and a juice, smoked salmon eggs Benedict, smashed avocado and a traditional breakfast. We had an unlimited breakfast voucher which we presented to the waiter as we feared that the smashed avocado wasn't going to do the job. To be completely fair the drinks turned up after about 5 mins, coffee and conversation followed as we watched other tables receiving food. 25 mins had passed so we flagged down the waiter for an update and we're told "not too long" so we re-armed with caffeine and waited patiently for another 20 mins confirming amongst ourselves that there had now been a few tables that arrived after us tucking into various pancakes and fry ups. Flagged down the waiter one final time and were assured the food would be "coming right up", suffice to say that after a further 20 or so minutes we decided to inform the wait staff and eventually, I am assuming, the manger of our impending departure. Upon enquiry of the delay we were met with "we don't know" and indicating that we were leaving, "fine". Now Frankie & Benny's is not looking to win any awards, however I feel that after waiting more than an hour for some breakfast we may have received an apology and a promise to get a rush on the food, but rather we received two plates of poor attitude and a side of lack of enthusiasm.

Had a fabulous afternoon, Paulina, our wonderful waitress truly looked after us, we even succumbed to the delicious desert menu.

Stopped here for lunch . OH ordered bbq chicken without a bun with salad instead - arrived with bun and no salad . I ordered hot dog which was very overdone . Very disappointing meal . Waitress seemed embarrassed too ...

This particular branch of Frankie & Benny's is located on the Bishop Centre, on the A4 heading into Maidenhead (5 minutes from M4 Jct7). We visited on a Wednesday morning for breakfast, and were the first customers at circa 09:30. That said, it still took 25 minutes for our food to arrive which was a little too long for us. Service was friendly, and when the food arrived it was fresh and well presented. We wnt for a full English at circa £7 and pancakes at circa £6. A little expensive when the overall bill is ramped up with hot drinks at £2.50 - £3.50, but good value if you have 2for1 Meerkat Meals or similar offer. Overall OK, but nothing special to make me want to return on a regular basis.

We arrived to have breakfast and asked for a bigger booth which the bar man/ waiter was very reluctant about even though there were at least 4 free. We then waited over 10 minutes and no one had even come to take a drinks order so we left. Manager seemed very rude. Won’t be rushing back!

We arrived at Frankie and Bennys hoping for a quick bite to eat so we could get back on the road after being at LEGOLAND for the day. It seemed an ideal place to go as it was on our way back and we knew that they were good with allergies.

After along wait and our mains turning up before our starters and my plate being dirty, I have to say my family and I was very disappointed with the customer service the manger gave I must say our waitress was really good, we ask to talk to the manger about what had happened I know he was serving but f I was the manger and I knew that a customers were not happy I would get someone else to take over what I was doing and I would go and speak to that customer, but no it took him about 10 minutes to get to us and then all he said was we are busy and tired to blame the waitress for all the mistakes.Sorry to say we will not be returning to the taplow Frankie & Benny’s again.

After a long day in London we needed a hassle free meal that we knew we'd all enjoy. This was exactly what we got.

Was seated quickly by friendly fella and food did come promptly but was pretty bland . Chips were left as tasted reheated and rubbery which was disappointing . Southern fried chicken had literally no southern fried seasoning very bland but nice and crispy. Quite hit and miss which was a shame .

It was our first visit and even though food was good, we won’t be coming back. Rude waitress and lack of management. They are trying to save on hours which is clearly visible(1 chef on at the time and 1 waitress) and losing on service.

We booked to have dinner at Frankie and Benny’s Taplow on Saturday. When we got there we were 15 minutes earlier, however we were still greeted with a smile and seated immediately. The kids were given their colouring activity books to keep them occupied whilst we waited for our food. Chloe was our waitress and she was excellent, the kids really liked her. She had a great personality. We were waiting quite a while for our mains and Chloe came over to explain the other tables got served first as they pre ordered their food before they arrived. Fair enough, and great to know when we go back. However when the kids food did arrive I noticed they received the small meals rather than the big eaters, but by this time the kids were starving and started eating them. Chloe organised for one of the adult mains to be half price to compensate for the error. Food was nice and kids filled up on desserts, so they were happy . All in all a nice meal out.

Came in on my break from work with my partner. 6 staff to 7 tables. Moving at snails pace, ignoring customers at the door (including disabled and a struggling mother), several mistakes on my order (the waiter taking it seemed gormless as well as clueless)...and then when the food was corrected, another dish was a no-show.

We went to frankie and benny's this weekend. The food was good but the waiting staff ignores you. I waited for a coffee refill with my breakfast for over ten minutes. This is unacceptable and they should realise you should not ignore the customers.

Came in on a Saturday night with a friend for a catch up! Was served by a lovely young lady Catlyn. Although the restaurant was busy and very understaffed her service was excellent and she was very efficient with any problems we had.

Given a 3* average rate, it was better than average, probably 'good' but not good enough to rate 'very good'.

Menu was extensive and staff pleasant food was a bit pricey but was ok, the only downside is the wait the place needs more staff or quicker checkout

Went after visiting an colleague we fancied a quick tasty bite I had lasagna and salad my friend cheese burger and cheesy fries.

Went ovr bank holiday wkend and they seemed under staffed. Took ages to be seated and served. Food was left ready waiting for far too long. Mayonnaise tasted 'off' Atmosphere is nice though.

Tough, tough steak, nasty sinew in the middle which couldn't be cut and had to leave. Expensive mojito full of ice. Paper straw unsuitable for digging into to drink. Never again.

Service was good and people were nice! I didn’t like the milkshake but I changed it for coke so no problem. Burgers were really tasty!
