After a bad time at a near by restaurant we decided to just come here. I am so glad we did. We got seated quickly, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our order was taken quickly but not rushed and a very little wait for a delicious meal. Empty plates and full belly’s. Priced well for good hearty food! Thanks we can’t wait for our next visit!

Brilliant evening with everything well organised for our Xmas party of 50 children and adults. Great service and lovely food. Would recommend

It took 30 minutes for two glasses of water and 45 minutes for the food but when they food came they forgot to place the order of a meal so had to wait another 30 minutes for all the food to arrive

I recently started a gluten free diet and was pleased to see that Frankie and Benny's have a good selection of gluten free food compared to some other restaurants. We had an enjoyable meal and serve was good.

I went out a great meal a few days ago, was greeted when I came in by who turned out to be the Manager Chelsea who was awesome throughout our visit! I ordered the cheesy garlic and the Carbonara which was absolutely amazing, great size portion (please don’t change it) and very hot! Didn’t take long between starter and main. Was so full so didn’t have a dessert but I had a few portstar martinis. BEST COCKTAIL EVER! Can’t wait to see all the staff again on my next visit, really enjoyed it! Clean restaurant, good atmosphere and just a really enjoyable experience overall!

Good value, good service, and really tasty food. The noise level gets a bit crazy if it's someone's birthday but I can live with that when the food is tasty and the staff seemed to care about their job and make sure you are OK and look after you.

We sat down and it took 25 minutes for someone to ask for our drinks, then came the 50 minute wait for our mains and lets not start about the prices - £6.80 for what was probably a £2 cookie shoved in the microwave! Im absolutely appauled at how F&B has gone down hill and has simply become so overpriced that i will not returning. Staff were ignorant and rude as well, never wanting to take our order and when trying to ask for the bill just kept cleaning tables - in a near enough empty restaurant!

Good food and quick service despite being a very busy Saturday evening. Only gripe was that the Happy Birthday music was a bit LOUD!!

Great atmosphere, the service was 10/10 was served but a lovely young lady called lily. Made my kids really happy and made my life easier helping them decide. Defo recommended will be back! Thank you lily

With husband being in a wheelchair, staff and manager went out of there way to make wheelchair access, went above on beyond and nothing was a problem, food was quick freshly cooked, thumbs up to everybody that works there, and see you again

Visited tonight with family and friends, when making the booking I made staff aware my son has autism and asked for a quieter table, when arriving the staff were very understanding and we had a large table in the corner which felt very private, food and drinks were very quick and service was friendly and helpful, one member of staff asked how my son was and advised that they would be turning the music up to sing happy birthday to other customers shortly which gave me time to prepare my son and was massively appreciated that he was thought of. Will definitely be returning we had a great night and great food.

Had a lovely night at Frankie and Bennys Cribbs with my partner, served within 5 minuets with drinks and then food. Our waitress was friendly and very chatty, she looked like she loved the job and actually was enjoying getting to know us. The food came out fairly quickly a cheesy garlic bread not too greasy! (they have been before) We both had steaks for our main. the meat was cooked perfectly, mushroom could of been creamy garlic ones like you used to do (they were amazing) but honesty the food was great, the server was so interactive. CANT WAIT TO COME BACK! TTHANK YOU!

Went with a large group (10) and were put off.. either on separate tables or not at all! Saw a large empty table near the wall but told we couldn’t have it as he didn’t want to stress staff out! Made to feel like lepers!! Never ever again…!!

We came in late morning and have a breakfast. Breakfast was average. Tasted pre-cooked, boil in the bag type flavours. A childs meal is very small! i would expect a childs meal to be suitable for up to 12 years at least. An 8 year old had pancakes with bacon and syrup. They were the tiniest microwave pancakes. And only 1.5 of them chopped up with 1 rasher of bacon. She was still hungry after. This portion would be suitable for a 2-3 year old. Certainly not any older.

Such a lovely experience for me and the whole family, there food is outstanding aswell as the staff!

We came here with our 3 year old and newborn baby at 11.45. The first waitress informed us that we had to have breakfast before 12 or we wait untill 12 to order off the lunch menu. We asked if we could just order a breakfast for us and something from lunch menu for our toddler who is a fussy eater (as it was only 15 mins to wait) & we were abruptly told no! The second waitress who brought us our food was also rude and snappy. She didn't inform us chilsrens cutlery was available, was abrupt, ignored our toddler and snapped at us if we dared ask a question. I then found a pea in my beans. I ate the rest of my breakfast but informed the waitress at the end. The chef then came out and rather than offer a discount asked if I would like another breakfast! Finally only 1 out of 4 sinks worked in the ladies so we had to queue to wash our hands. Not a great experience!

We had a last minute table booked on a Monday afternoon as we were in the area in it was our twins birthday. But right from arriving although busy all the team were more than accommodating. The boys were wished happy birthday as soon as we were seated by the managers, and even had cute cupcakes and they sang happy birthday to them :) food was delicious, and service really prompt. We were served by Danielle, and she was so lovely. Will definitely return to this particular restaurant again.

We tried F&B for the first time as It covered all food types that the family enjoy and it did Gluten free, but we were very disappointed the food took an hour to arrive my burger was very nice but the jacket potato that came with it had been put through the microwave and was over cooked. There were clearly not enough staff to cater for the amount of customers which is a shame for the amount we have had to pay we won’t be re visiting any time soon.

Just had to write a review after visiting Frankie and Benny's tonight. We were very impressed how they handled a food allergy for our party...from the meeter/greeter at the door asking about allergies and that information being passed on to the server and cooks where they made sure from start to finish everyone was aware. Also server Cathy was amazing and very attentive to our needs, nothing was too much trouble...hope she got a chunk of our tip as she deserved it.Food was ok but 5 stars given for allergy handling and for the great server.

Booked a table for 13. Visited with family and friends for my daughter’s birthday. I need to mention Cathy who was super attentive and kind but unfortunately her shift was ending and when she left the service was extremely poor.

My family had organised me a surprise birthday meal 21.12.19. Some of the party arrived a few minutes late, however we were seated and menus we're ready on the table as we had pre-booked.

We had a family meal we were advised by the waitress that there was a half hour wait on food. Thought it was nice to be told beforehand. Waitress was very welcoming and professional. There was a lot of choice on the menu for everyone. My sister in law has a nut allergy and they havea phone app to tell you what has nuts on menu. All our food came out quickly (20 mins) rather than half an hour and the food was all beautiful

Visited this restaurant to catch up with friends pre-christmas. We choose the Christmas menu as the price seemed reasonable.Had to pre-order, not sure why as it was mostly cooked from frozen. I had deep fried Ravioli with Cranberry Sauce.... never again it was dry and tasteless! The saving grace was the Cranberry. Main course was Frankie's Turkey Meatballs ( although they featured on almost everything on the menu had Meatballs), The Turkey Meatballs were awful........Dessert was Toblerone Cheesecake, frozen rubbish. 8 of the other people dining were disappointed with there meals. The other 1 enjoyed hers but you can't really go wrong with a burger.

Came for low key celebration and was not disappointed. Was able to find something to satisfy my intolerances. Can't have potato so was a bit gutted to find the sweet potato fries were not gluten free, but otherwise I did not have to miss out. Food was good, staff were knowledgeable about the menu and helpful. The only thing I did not like was that my seat was booth style and backed onto another seat and the person in that seat kept moving about making my seat jump about. We probably could have moved if we had wanted to though. All in all a plesant meal, reasonably priced and clean environment.

The food was average at best, they somehow made chicken and corn of the cob pretty tasteless. Had it not been for the bbq sauce the whole meal would have been pretty tasteless. Puddings were nice. We had meerkat Meals so ok for the money, but had we paid full price it would not have been. The noise was very loud, it was very busy so that’s fine, but add to it very loud music and it was not pleasant. The music was obviously to loud when the waitresses have to shout at you to be heard. Overall ok, but won’t bother again.

Went there today for my nieces 2nd birthday party pre ordered food for a group of 13 for a table at 2 o’clock we’re still waiting for food at gone 3 o’clock when asked staff how long food was going to be one staff member said it takes at least 40 minutes to cook food I fail to see point of pre ordering food when we could of just walked in and orderd it when we got there but was nice when it eventually came out

Me and my husband recently visited Frankie and Benny's at cribbs causeway after going to the cinema. We were shown to a table and ordered our food but unfortunately we were not told until after we had ordered that a party of 27 children were just about to arrive in the area next to where we were seated. It wasn't the childrens fault but I just wish we had been told before we ordered, the noise was very loud! Despite this the food was okay/average and the waitress who served us was very efficient and pleasant

We had a great visit to the cribbs causeway restaurant this evening. We downloaded their app and got a fantastic offer of 40% off out meal. Our waitress Cathy was so genuinely welcoming and a credit to the restaurant. She organised a small cake and a birthday song for my son's 7th birthday. She was really good with both our children. The meal was really nice, so thanks to the chef who tailor made me a salad. It was just a really good experience. Finally, congratulations on the best eggs Benedict - I always order this when I visit for breakfast.

We went to this restaurant for my sisters 11th birthday. First of all, we were missing onion rings, and a drink that we had to ask again for. A smile from the waitress would have been nice too. Not to mention that we specifically asked for a birthday cupcake and song from staff. We were waiting and waiting for this, having the waitress pass us without a thought multiple times. We asked for the bill and paid while mentioning the cupcake and song, to the reply of “oh I forgot”. We then spoke to the manager, who was really polite. But the thing is we had to leave because it was a school night and the time had already passed. Very disappointed.

Had a great meal at Frankie and Benny’s this evening, Food was very good, Kathy the lady who looked after us was very friendly, polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The service was excellent, thank you Kathy. We will certainly be back again. 🙂

We had a really good family meal at Frankie & Benny’s next to Vue Cribbs. Good choice of food for all ages; main meal selections were good and enjoyed by all, with good portion sizes. Starters tasty (although would probably choose a different one next time, but that was my choice...).

Second visit in the space of a month and served by Vicky . Yet again first class service!! Such a great member of staff. A real credit to branch. Smiley, chatty and friendly. Quite relaxed here. Breakfast was very good and refillable hot drinks was a bonus I wasn’t expecting.

Came here with the little ones on Saturday lunch. The restaurant was busy but still managed to spend some time with us to make the birthday girl feel special. Good value for money and will come back.

My partner and I visited this particular Frankie and Benny's last night before heading to the cinema. We've been to this restaurant a few times before and the service has been average. However last night we had the privilege of having Cathy as our waitress, and we were both amazed by the service which we received. She is extremely polite, professional and even though the restaurant was extremely busy, she made sure we were provided with excellent service. I'd happily return here again if she was our waitress everytime.

Nice atmosphere and food but what really made our evening was our bubbly and attentive server Cathy. She took care of us very well and it was her wonderfully friendly hospitality which made the visit memorable.

Myself and my family don't get to spend much time together due the nature of our work. We arranged a lovely day out and thought we would end it with some food at this chain restaurant. We were met promptly and seated quickly. We ordered our meals with starters and waited patiently. The staff were quite friendly and the restaurant was unusually quiet for a sunday. Our starters came within 10-15 of ordering and were quite tasty. Unfortunately that's where the good times ended. After our starters it took 20 mins to clear our table and another 40 mins for the mains to come out. They were not brought out together and my partner and my eldest daughter started without myself and my youngest daughter (who is 4) having any food. My food came out another 10 minutes later while my youngest, who was absolutely starving at this point was still waiting. Every time we asked a server how long it was going to be, we had the same response, 5 minutes. Well that soon turned into 20 minutes. Eventually a manager arrived and apologised for the delay but they were training new chefs. At this point everyknes meals were dry and not worth eating. I will not be eating there again. Ever. The only compensation we got was the childrens meal (£10) was taken off the bill. Wow. Thanks frankies!! Disgusting.

Came here today and found that the restaurant was very busy. We got asked to wait by the bar before being seated which was ok as we weren’t in a rush.

Table booked early so not over busy and five chef's on so no excuse, but our jacket potatoes came out freezing cold and the steaks were Luke warm for a big chain this should never happen, the manager tried to put it right with a free dessert and nibbles but the damage had already been done with how cold the potatoes came out, cant believe the chefs did not realise how cold the food was when it left the kitchen!!

What a pleasure to have a server like Kathy. Amazing service and so good with the kids. Had a bad waitress at our local F&B; a few years ago so have avoided since. Our daughter chose lunch today and after the service we received today will definitely be returning to Cribbs.

Me and my partner visited on the 2nd of October, my partner had the meatball al forno starter which he enjoyed and I had the mushroom bruschetta which was nice but had clearly been waiting around a while as the bruschetta wasn’t crisp at all anymore and just soggy and warm.

Seriously, how does a big chain like this stay open?!! The food was dreadful, completely tasteless rubbish. When we arrived the waitress put us at a table and after waiting 20 minutes expectantly we had to call over a different waitress so we could order food and drinks. We had a tastecard so got 241 on mains, but the food was of such poor quality that even with the discount this seemed like a complete rip-off and we all said that was the first and last time we'd go. What I can't understand is who is prepared to pay full price for this sort of food and in such a naff setting.

Family and I visited on a Wednesday evening, 5 of us and we hadn't booked a table (my own fault I know) so we were prepared to wait for a table. We went in and got ignored by staff for around 10 minutes and then the young lady said 'table of 5? yeah we're full' very rude and abrupt. I asked how long the wait for a table would be and got told '2 maybe 3 hours'. Had the hostess been more friendly about it we would have considered staying but decided to pop next door to TGI's where we had a lovely meal and were welcomed.

I come here often and although sometimes it can be very busy, you know what to expect with this brand. Good food and decent service.

I would love to say thank you so much to the waitress we had on 9th of September called Victoria she was lovley and very welcoming and I felt we could have a lovley night dude to her amazing good customer skills thank you very much she deserves a raise!

Our Waitress Victoria was outstanding. Brilliant sense of humour, nothing was too much trouble for her. She was really lovely and friendly. The food was wonderful, didn't have to wait too long, even though they were extremely busy, couldn't fault it atall. Haven't been here in years but will be visiting again soon and hopefully Vicky will be our waitress again.

Exceptional service. Our server (Cathy) was outstanding. Very polite, friendly, engaging and efficient. She went above and beyond. The food was very good, but the customer service fantastic.

Shopping trip to Clarks Village, Street, Somerset. Stopped in at Frankie & Bennies for some lunch. The food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced. All the staff are warm and friendly. We were served by Gary, who was very attentive and efficient and ensured we enjoyed our experience. Certainly the place to go when you're shopping is done.

A friend and I visited for food and drinks. Had a skinny pizza and it was very very nice. Then tried an alcoholic drink called Purple Rain and I fell in love! Seriously you have gotta try this!

Visited this restaurant for my partners birthday, we aren’t from Bristol so this was our first time eating here. We phoned first to check if there was a table available and the phone was answered promptly and the girl was very polite and helpful, upon arrive we were seated as soon we we walked in and we were served by Cathy! The food was great and so was our service, Cathy is honestly a star and I hope the company recognise her as she is an asset to them, she was so warm and welcoming and just naturally an easily approachable and lovely lady. I can truly say she gave us the best service we have ever had. Would definitely come back here for the service alone!

We tried to eat here today, but were met inside, I cannot day greeted, as the lady was clearly trying to put us off. Her first words were, we would have to wait 1 hour for food, after we had ordered, we had two grandsons with us. Too hungry to wait so long. Why I wonder when the place was nowhere near full! Very disappointing, I have eaten here many times and always been more than satisfied.

Booked a table after bowling at the Cribbs Causeway restaurant as a treat for the kids, to start with we were told there was a 45 minute wait for food although there were at least 70% of tables unoccupied. When we actually tried to order neither the starter or main my husband wanted were available. We requested the kids meals to come out with the starters which they did but the hot dog rolls were so hard and stale we had to send them back, they did replace the meals with better and the kids were happy with them. We then had to wait a further 40-50 minutes for our mains to arrive which again weren’t great and by this time the kids were beginning to get a bit fed up with being sat at the table. My husband ordered some loaded chips for £4.99 which were an absolute disgrace, just a few chips in a basket with a drizzle of cheese sauce and a few chopped up bits of bacon. We were absolutely disgusted and left to get the kids desserts on the way home. Won’t be going back!

We hadn't been here for a while due to poor food and service but decided to give it another chance. Glad we did. Our sever Cathy was lovely, served us promptly, really friendly and ordered fresh drinks for the kids before they even had a chance to ask for a refil. The Manager was also great, warning us that a big table had been sat and advising us to get our order in before they did. Food was good and not too much of a wait. All in all a very pleasant visit. We will definitely be back
