Amazing service by pat! Amazing food. 5 starts all round ♥️

Service was really slow, the place was pretty empty but they did get tables ready for our party and the food was reasonable

Turned up at the restaurant and shown to our table. It was 1pm and only 2 other couples in there on a Thursday. Ordered diet cokes with the waitress who then came back 5 minutes later saying they did not have cold drinks from the fountain machine as it had broken down, but had cold drinks off the menu. We chose bottled diet cokes only to be told they didn't have those either. We started to order our food and my husband chose a burger. Only to be told again that they didn't have any burgers on the menu. At this stage we got up and walked out. The manageress tried to lure us back by explaining the machine had broken down and offered us free drinks. I explained to her that nobody informed us of this when they gave us menus. We left, never to return!

Thursday lunchtime.....shown to table and given menus. Went to order drinks, diet cokes, and then after 5 minutes, the waitress returned, saying that the fountain machine had broken, but they had soft drinks on the menu. We then ordered diet coke bottles from the menu, and again, the waitress stated that they had run out of them. We moved onto food, and my husband ordered a burger. The waitress then informed us that they did not have any burgers at all. With this, we started to leave and was met by the manageress who started to try and explain the problem and offered us free drinks (which they didn't have)! I tried to tell her that nobody told us any of this when we were given the menus or shown to our table. We have been numerous times before but won't bother again.....went next door to Frankie and Bennys and had an excellent meal.

Simin was great, she greeted us warmly and was so helpful all the time. She was very friendly and quick. Overall, good food, great environment, good music, and a lovely person like Simin mad our experience very pleasing.

Service was very slow, took 30 minutes for someone to come get our food and drink order. We did the 2 set course and when arrived (30 minutes after) the starters and mains arrived together. My pasta was over cooked and got send back. Then took a long time to get replacement and the servers came to clear the other people food and did not realise we were waiting, and didn’t know what was going on . Will not be coming back

Booked a table for after movies, early evening Saturday. The movie was great (Venom 3) and looking forward to dinner here. We'd arrived a little early so had to wait for our table although plenty of unoccupied tables . Okay, I forgive that. They turned away plenty of walk-ins. Bookings only. Husband ordered meat feast pizza, I ordered half pizza with salad (virtuous that it was), with two glasses of wine. Food arrived in good time. Food very disappointing. My half pizza was primarily dough, very little topping, so very little taste. Small salad, all served on a wooden board. I generally cut the crust off (too much carb), so ended up with very little pizza. Hubbies full size pizza was not much better , although slightly tastier, in that the topping was sparse. No offer of black pepper or parmesan, which was offered on a previous visit, during the day when food and service so much better. Decided not to waste our hard earned money on a further drink and dessert, so left. No tip left as food and service poor. I will add we are happy to tip but only in positive experiences. I was still hungry when we left so picked up a burger from BK onvway out. Not so virtuous! Sorry Bella. We won't be returning. Second disappointing meal here. Much better places to eat.

Oh my.. where to even start... the most disrespectful, rude, racist restaurant I have ever come across! Service was diabolical and because had to repeatedly ask for cutlery..sauces and main meal (after others in our group had already finished eating their main!) Members of staff were bad mouthing and talking disgusting about a member of our group, loud enough to be heard and when approached and asked not to speak badly about her they responded with they didn't hear or understand her order when asked if it was because she is Asian the staff responded with yes! Absolutely disgusting! Just to make things clear my friend speaks perfectly clear English so this was just an excuse to be racist towards her. If there was a language barrier why was no attempt made to try and get her order? Because they heard perfectly fine and chose to act in a disgusting manner! Absolutely terrible. Anyone who chooses to go here should proceed with caution!

Polite but slow service, despite the place being very empty at 5.30pm ish. Noticed our food was left on the servery for a while, others served their food before ours as they were sat nearer the servery. Food was warm to hot. No tip today.

As I write this I know it's a little pointless - restaurants like this survive off the footfall around the cinema and pay little attention to customer feedback. We had booked in advance. We were, of course, going to the cinema and, in our opinion, had left plenty of time. I'll start with the fact that the staff serving and the food were great. We were sat promptly at our table. Our starters arrived in good time. Over an hour after we had placed our order we had to ask where our main courses. We were going to be late for our film; we had to eat what we could of our mains in about 10 minutes and I had to pay the bill while we were eating. As I say, he food was lovely. But eating out should be a treat and not feel stressful. Would I go again. Yes, probably if I had time but I would probably go to one of the other restaurants on the site as they have never let me down.

Have eaten in the restaurant at Cribbs Causeway and had lovely meal. Staff attentive and friendly. Last night we had a deliveroo delivery. Never, ever again. Garlic bread was not the same as that when we ate in. Sadly, all we received on delivery were two small triangles, tasteless, dry and not worth the £5+. Chicken fries ok, although cold. Husband loved his pizza and my pasta dish was probably better than when I ate in (spicier for sure) Lemon cheesecake, tasty but the tirimisu was dry and tasteless. That's the last takeaway on delivery ever again. Not worth the money!

The poor waitresses (x2 during lunch) work tirelessly whilst the restaurant is under staffed. This i feel is a management issue which then has a knock on effect for the customer waiting times and experience. Food great but long waiting times (45mins between courses) meant we walked out before desert arrived after settling the bill.

We had ordered two set lunch today. We only had the starters and drinks, then waited for 45 minutes for the main dishes. There are around 8 tables with customers, I don’t why it took so long. Finally, we had to cancel the orders as they said it would take 20-30 min more to ready the pasta.

Excellent service from start to finish. Food was all delicious and arrived in reasonable time and all piping hot. The kids menu is fab and such good value for money - my little boys thoroughly enjoyed his food. I highly recommend the lasagne, which is incredible! I had to give 1 star as it wouldn't let me do zero. Went in and before we even sat down a server was asking if we wanted a drink. Ordered food, garlic bread & dough balls for starters. A pizza & risotto for mains. 50, yes 50 minutes later no starters. When I asked what was happening I was told we don't have many chefs so it will be a while. Why couldn't they tell us when we went in? We had cinema tickets and planned 1 & 1/2 hours for food so there was no time to wait any further for the starter as we would never have had the time to eat our main course. So can't review the food as we didn't get any. All I can say is shocking service. They should mention any problam they were having when you enter the restaurant, not leave you for nearly an hour. I tried asking various servers but they all ignored me as they obviously knew what the problem was. Awful

Probley been there a bit to much and so losing the feel for it. Food not great pasta bit chalky. Service show you have discount card at start as instructed but still being you while bill. Had the bill three times once before it was right as added on a drink but it was a refillable one

I wouldn't recommend it if you have an hour or less to eat. I'm here semi regularly with a group of just 4, because while it takes a long time, the food is good, but it seems each time the service gets slightly worse again. I've been in twice recently where they said they'd bring cutlery round shortly because it wasn't on the table already, only for them to forget and we have to ask once our food is there. Then there's times they don't ask if we want drinks at all so we're sat waiting for 10 minutes until they come over to take food orders, then we have to additionally ask for drinks before they speed off. The bill takes another 10-15 minutes to come after being asked for, and I'd understand all this if they were packed but only 4-6 tables are being used when I'm in there. Additionally, I wouldn't recommend sitting next to the bar, as the fly situation there is pretty horrendous. Also if they ask if you want any sauces and you say yes, be aware they do charge 65p for it for a tiny pot but they don't mention that it just appears on the bill.

Website clearly states open at 11am on Saturday. Arrived at 11 and the doors were locked, still locked 20 minutes later and we were ignore by the staff inside when we tried to speak to them. Had to look elsewhere to eat. Disappointed

To be honest, food is not that great undercooked pizza had a few poisoning it was disgusting I would avoid not recommended

Had a great birthday party here yesterday, with table of 9 people. They treated us like royalty! Fantastic service - anything we wanted, they produced and quickly. My mum was 95 and very difficult to feed, but they cooked something special ial for her and were wonderful. We'll done to you all! Xx

Visited Saturday 1st after doing some shopping. Upon entering, I gave my name and reservation time and one of the waitresses just rolled her eyes and threw our menus onto the table. Luckily, our server was much nicer and the food was amazing. The only downside was that we couldn't order from the 2 course menu as everything was showing out of stock on the ordering site but yet was available to order off the normal menu making it more expensive which was convenient.

I had an hour or so between Hospital appointments and needed somewhere to get some work done on the laptop. I was offered a table with a power socket and got to work! I ordered a meal and a couple of drinks while I was there. All good.

We have now been sitting at our table for 45 minutes. When we arrived, the greeter snarled at us that despite all the empty tables, the kitchen was backed up and she couldn't sit us for another 15 minutes. We asked if we could sit at a table while we waited out our 15 minutes. The greeter turned her back to us and told us to follow her. We sat for 30 minutes until we got the attention of a server and asked if we could order. She said she had been instructed by her manager not to take our order until they told her. So now we are sitting here almost an hour and nothing. Treated like we are an inconvenience and an annoyance. If it wasn't for my family all being sat and tired we would have left by now . Pathetic.

The food was okay, but it seemed like the server lost our ticket from our online order. They didn't really seem like they wanted to be there, food arrived cold/out of order because it was forgotten or something, not really sure. Waiter kept saying "It's been a long day" then just sulking off - had to find our own cutlery etc. Tasted okay, which was the only saving grace of today.

Won't be visiting here again. Ordered spaghetti and meatballs, to find the meatballs were really hard and under cooked. Alot of flys too flying around the restaurant. The service of some staff was disappointing, very rude and no manners. Waste of money!

Went as a family of four. Service was not great, asked for a glass to come with the beer but it didn't arrive and had to go up to the counter after 30 minutes to ask for it again. Didn't get our order of garlic green beans - we were told that they'd forgot to prepare it, waiters did apologize on their behalf. The meatballs on the bella sharing board were poor, these looked and tasted like microwavable meatballs - at least try and make it less obvious. Mushrooms on the sharing board were ok, chicken fries ok, the flatbread was too salty for some of our tastes but that was ok. We ordered calamari and what we received was basically fried breading, barely had any squid at all in it. A friend ordered the bolognese, which had practically little to no beef mince in it, my mum and I had the gamberoni which was edible but the prawns had little to no taste, likely frozen for a while. We shared fries and sweet potatoes fries, they were fine. I had minor food poisoning that night (could've been any of the foods I listed) with dizziness and, stomach and abdominal pain but nothing compared to my brother who threw up at 2am and woke up with headaches, muscle pain and heavy breathing whilst sharing the same symptoms as me. He had the lasagna and shared our fries, sharing board and calamari so obviously the lasagna was almost a death sentence because he was the only person having lasagna and no one else had such a severe response to the food. A real shame for this particular chain as we had a much better Bella Italia experience elsewhere.

We used to go to Bella Italia very often in the past, we used to like it. However, in our last visit, last week, we didn't think so highly of it. And its not the first time, we also went there about three months ago too and felt the same. Some of the food portions feel smaller than they used to be, including the children's set menu portions. Also, our food was not so nice. The spaghetti on our pasta bolognese was overcooked and looked like it had been broken in two before cooking. Cannelloni was the only portion that looked good and tasted nice!

The service from our waitress called Pat was excellent, she went above and beyond to make she we had a nice meal tonight. We hope we get you as our waitress again.

Came here as a farewell to our visit to our son and for his birthday. Met on entry with the statement whole kitchen team new and on training. Our party ordered vegan meatballs as a starter. Also meatballs and spaghetti for a main. Vegan meatballs came in a sizzling dish and were frozen inside. Sent back. Spaghetti meatballs came cold. Sent back. Returned microwaved to the point of completely inedible. Vegan risotto was undercooked, green liquid in the bottom of the dish and inedible. All food taken off bill. Charged 13.79 for drinks which i find incredulous given the experience.

We visited the restaurant last night. We were looking forward to this meal but we were very disappointed by the end of it. We were greeted nicely and shown to our table and given time to look at the menu before we ate. The lady who took our order was initially very happy to help. Our orders were taken and the first meal came and was very nice (mushroom starter), the second meal was three pizza’s (all vegetarian) - they came but we were not offered any garnish (grated cheese or black pepper) - we asked and the lady returned with this after a minute or two. We ate our meal which was nice enough but we had finished our meal after the normal amount of time. During this time they had started to clean down the restaurant and set up for the next day. Fourty minutes AFTER finishing our meal the lady eventually returned and asked if we wished to order the deserts. We did thinking that they were now down to very few customers that there would not be any issues…no. We saw our deserts placed on to the hot tray for the waitress to collect…they were there for what seemed forever. During that time they carried on cleaning the restaurant and turning off some of the lights. Me and one of my sisters ordered the Brownie which neither had the salted caramel sauce on it. We were beyond waiting for them to return or ask if it was ok…they didn’t. At this point they started playing two different tunes on the speakers.. We went to pay and there were further issues as they stated that they did not accept Tesco Clubcard Vouchers for the meals we had ordered - no where did we see this or get advised this by any member of staff.. Eventually this was sorted by my sister and we left. Very disappointed as this had supposed to be a nice family meal which ended being a situation were we were just left in the restaurant while the staff cleaned, turned off lights and sat in the front waiting for us to leave. Meal was to sit down for 8.15pm..it wasn’t a late setting (it was by the time we left) nor were we not expected as we had reserved seats…very disappointing.

For not a busy time we waited ages to be served. We had the set menu the food was basic tasted like a microwave meal. The desert was freezing cold and again we waited ages. We would have had better service in McDonalds.
