Frankie and Benny's - Hampton in Peterborough

Turned up for a lovely Father’s Day meal and the place is closed down with no sign nor cars outside. Absolutely devastated!! 😞👎🏻

Two of us popped in here for late lunch/early dinner. The food was as expected, chicken wings and calamari to start. Chicken Caesar salad and burger for mains. Since this restaurant has been open we have been here numerous times. Sadly it’s closing in May. The brand/offer has not really changed from day one, just a few new dishes added and taken away. The place used to be full of diners with a great atmosphere. Sadly not the case now. Just to wish all the team the very best and thank you for always making us welcome.

This is by far the best f&b .... Good atmosphere... clean restaurant and toilets... the best welcomes by joanna and Mo the crazy one lol and its always consistent...great customer service always. Food good fast and hot ...great cocktails and shakes and coffees are amazing . Highly recommend.

My colleagues and I (14 in total) made a very last minute booking earlier today. From the moment we walked in our server was so friendly and welcoming to each and every one of us. He got us served really quickly (everyone was ordering off of different menus and having different varieties of courses) etc we were tricky and he handled it all so well with a smile on his face. He was working so hard to make sure we had everything and everyone was so pleased with their experience today. He didn’t get a single meal wrong - it was spot on. At the end he made the effort to put all of our desserts into boxes as we needed to leave and he took individual payments from each of us. He had a ponytail and we believe fairly new as we hadn’t seen him around before. What a fantastic staff member to have working here. We’ll be back again soon!

We went later than usual for us, and being a Saturday night we were a bit worried that the food might take a while if it was busy. However Joanna was great at making sure our food arrived very quickly, as she had taken into account that I am pregnant. Great food and great service as always, looking forward to going back.

I like coming to this lovely place with my son. There Is a good choice of meals, amazing offers to use and great service. Joanna always serve us with smile . She is professional and helpful ,if we cannot decide what to have she is patient with taking our order. I loved recomended salad and my son loves their pizza. We absolutely loved our meal at Frankie & Benny's yesterday evening. All of the group loved the food, we always do. But the thing that makes this place stand out is the atmosphere and the welcome from the staff. Joanna in particular makes it so easy for us to take our toddler our for food, because she makes such an effort with him. He absolutely loves it there! ❤️

We had a lovely breakfast here at Frankies & Bennys. The eggs benedict was cooked nicely, nice eggs, mushroom and hashbrown. The waiter who served us, Mo was very friendly and welcoming.

Me and my friend visited on the 7th of December at lunch time, at arrival we was greeted with bright smiles, and taken to a table straight away. it wasn't long till our waitress (Joanna) came to take our orders for food and drinks. The food was really good, you can tell that the chefs really care about there craft. At the end of the meal me and my friend were surprised but the staff with a desert and by them singing happy birthday. Overall it was a great experience and I will definitely come again!!

Visited @1230hrs 4 Nov. Absolutely lovely experience. Called ahead to book and was told I could head straight on down for a meal with my partners and 3 year old. Greeted at the door in a timely manner and whilst I did the "track and trace" my partner and child were able to sit avoiding him running riot.Once seated we were seen to quickly and attentively by a blonde lady (possibly a manager). Very polite. Was moderately busy so unfortunately did not receive a 2nd drink. My dessert unfortunately wasn't ordered when I asked for it however I needed to shoot off anyway so no big deal. The general manager older gentleman was absolutely lovely with our son playing with him and even getting him extra sauce. It is really great to see people making the extra effort to make our dining experience more enjoyable. So thank you Hampton Frank and bennys. We will be sure to return once lock down is over :)

Booked a table for a birthday meal. Felt very safe with their covid rules (one party member had been shielding). We were booked in and shown to our table. Didn't wait long for our drinks order nor for our food. One slight blip with one meal, rectified in minutes. Joanna our waitress was lovely. Our usual F&B is still closed so this was our first visit and it won't be our last.

Lovely and clean, service was prompt, food was delicious and I felt safe eating in here .... safer than going out shopping! The toilet doors even have hands free/use your foot openings! Fab!

I feel bad for leaving this review however anyone that knows this place will most likely comment the same. The concept is simply old. An American diner just does not work anymore and the burger and chips are not really outstanding. Ordered desert for the kids but it just feels plastic or otherwise old and a simple ice cream scoop with skittles there and it's not really a treat for the kids

Came here by chance, as had been told about the various eating places at Hampton, and thought we'd try here. Food was good, and not long to wait; big varied choice of dishes. Waitress was friendly and helpful; tables were allocated by spacing. Sanitiser station on arrival. Parking around "F & B's", and other restaurants was plenty. We ate early, so they were not overly busy at time of arrival. Did not pre-book, as did not know what our plans were.

Service was great as usual. Mo is a real asset. It was my young daughters birthday and he made a real fuss of her. My only complaint on this visit is that the cookie dough was overcooked.

Me and my partner visited for date night as we haven’t been in quite a while and Frankies is an old family favourite of mine as I use to go when I was little! Our waitress Joanna was so extremely kind and made sure we had the best experience! Over the years she has served me a lot and she is always so friendly and nothing is too much to ask. We havn’t been out for a meal for so long and she made us so happy. She checked in with us a few times too to make sure the food was okay.. which was also soo good! There was only one chef working bless him so he was working so hard dealing with customer orders as well as takeaways so we didn’t mind waiting a little longer for our food, especially in these times we feel so grateful.

Booking a table was quite easy on line and parking here was good,it was our first visit since lockdown and we were all very disappointed how much the food here had gone down hill we had spaghetti bolongese mixed grill and pizza and all dishes were so much smaller then what they use to be the spag bol had hardly any meat and very watery the mixed grill had changed quite a bit with no much meat on the plate we use to enjoy eating here but I think we will give it a miss from now on,i will say the staff were good just got to improve on the dishes again

Baiba was our waitress and was brill from the moment we sat down. Really attentive and engaged with the kids. Lovely food and quick service.

Joanna served us and was extremely accommodating. Considering the circumstances for restaurants, we were delighted they were still able to offer a GLUTEN FREE menu. We explained that our daughter is extremely sensitive to wheat and cannot have cross contamination. She confirmed this with the chef. My daughter ate a meal and dessert. She really enjoyed them both with no problems at all. Many thanks!

I am not a regular guest of this restaurant, but I am ok to go there sometimes. Our family used that offer and It was lovely. Of course it was busy, bless all the staff working those days. I came to Frankie and Benny’s Hampton with my two girl friends. We were served by Joanna and she was very friendly and accommodating She suggested we get the Mushroom Alfredo as a starter. It was lovely. Would definitely come again! 5 stars!

My wife and I regularly have breakfast here to catch up and just chill. Service is always excellent and food is a very high quality. Unlimited tea and coffee adds to the the value for money so if you like to relax over breakfast this is the place for you

Booked a table for 14 Sunday afternoon and everything was great. Service by Shanul was outstanding, friendly quick service and nothing was to much trouble.

From the time we arrived we was greeted by the lovely friendly mo who seated us and took our drink order... very prompt and great customer service... then to top it off joanna our waitress came and took our food order she was so helpful as i dont like any sauce so she made sure we had everything we wanted. Food was hot and tasty and i would highly reccomend here for couples family friends. Superb all round

Came here on Valentines evening. Great family atmosphere. Jo the waitress was the hostess with the mostest. Making us feel welcome. The food was good, though the ribs lacked a little bbq sauce. Had my daughter’s 13th birthday party meal with 7 of her friends at F&B; in Hampton. Staff were terrific from the moment we arrived, very helpful and good humoured. Food was great and all the kids seemed more than happy munching their way through burgers and pizzas! Joanna who looked after the kids table was great with them, thank you. Great experience and will come back again soon!
