My daughter was asked… Pizza Hut, F&Bs or Nando’s … she chose F&Bs, we had high hopes as we used to love this place but after our last visit earlier in the year we were disappointed by the lack of offerings on the menu, we had thought they may have changed the menu but sadly not, I always remember the great choices available in years gone by but they still choose to do a limited menu. Looking around I fear that this is something how lot of other people feel as the place was almost empty, a few groups of people but not like it was years ago where we’d find it difficult to get a table at times. On another note we ordered starters which were fine in their own way with mine coming with a bbq sauce, I had some leftover so wanted to hold on to it, but the waiter took it then told me that I could get more with my main which arrived shortly after our starters, I asked the waiter for some when he asked us if we required anything else to which I was told it would be an additional charge, shocked I said no thanks, angrily annoyed that he’d taken away the small bit that remained from my starter, after ours meals we changed our mind about pudding as I was still annoyed about being asked to pay for bbq sauce, our bill came to £78, which I thought was a bit over priced for a late lunch meal of what we got but happy to pay it, I will be checking the menu online before any future visits to see what their options are, and if they return to their amazing original menu options, sadly I don’t see a future for what was an amazing place many years ago & will not be visiting again.

After having such a bad experience with the wishing well a few doors down and getting a refund we came here.... The food was amazing we should of came here first! The food, atmosphere, and staff was fantastic 10/10! Specially Steve... Very quick service and very welcoming. Will definitely be back... Thank you franky and benny's we are stuffed! 😁

We went here yesterday with all of our family , 17 in total . Just couldn’t fault it at all . The food arrived altogether and was hot . The portions were brilliant and the children’s meals superb . The young gentleman who served us at the bar was so friendly and helpful and our young waitress was exactly the same . We just couldn’t fault it . Well done to all concerned . Only wish I had gotten the names of our servers . Our meal was booked for 4.30 if that helps . These young people are a credit to you . We will return . Thank you very much

Had a email from FB offering two for… Had a email from FB offering two for one on mains Mon to Fri-went to the longwell green restaurant tonight ordered food then told the waiter when we came to pay we had a two for one on mains. First thing he piped up and said was did you book-I said no just turned up-he said you had to book and what we had was not in the offer. Tried following the links and the website did not work even showed the jobsworth waiter who did not give two hoots. I paid the bill and will never step inside a FB restaurant again.The email does not tell you to book and the. For the waiter to say you have to book online never heard of that when vouchers are being offered by the company.

Always a lovely atmosphere for eating a bit later than usual. Food is always prepared well and i am convinced this place has the best milkshakes around.

I really hate to give bad reviews.. but this was genuinely one of the worst meals I’ve ever eaten. The food was repulsive- the chicken came with some what ‘tomato pasta’ which more or less was chopped tomatoes in over cooked pasta. Everything about this meal was badly cooked, no flavour and CHEAP. Service was good, but sadly this didn’t do anything to help our terrible experience. He gave us a bit of money off to compensate for our meal (thankyou) but still £40 which I would describe as worse than any spoons I’ve ever had the sadness of eating in. We only ate here as Nando’s was fully booked, this explained the empty tables here.

We booked a table for 5 to take our 3 young grandchildren out for a treat after spending an hour in the local arcade. Food was very good.I had a full rack of Ribs which fell off the bone. Kids meals were very good. A drink, main, side and dessert for under £7 each. The main plus of the evening was the service from John. What a truly delightful man. He interacted well with the kids and spoke to them all about all sorts of things. He made them feel welcome and took time to make each one feel special. You don't get this sort of service normally. They were all blown away by his kindness. Frankie and Bennys should be so proud to have John as part of their team in Longwell Green. We will definitely go back again soon and the main reason will be the great service.

Attentive service with above expectations level of food. The calamari was excellent and the rack of ribs reasonable, however the bbq sauce could have been a little more flavoursome. Indeed the bbq sauce that comes with the sharing platter is much better. If you’re after a cheap meal, this is not the place, however. Bill for a family of 4 with 2 young kids was over £100.

More often than not, I'm bowled over by the excellent service of this F&B. Actually, I won't be able to lie and say the food was the best this time around - it was generally pretty good but one of our choices didn't taste great - however the service we get here is almost always some of the best service in the area. We were helped by a gentleman with glasses who couldn't do enough to help us, and the manager was also very kind today too. I was so delighted with this today and it made a bad day good. Thank you to F&B for making a bank holiday birthday meal a delight and thanks to your staff for their excellent service.

Not the same since before covid, standards have definitely dropped in both atmosphere and quality of food. Don’t bother ordering a cocktail don’t think they have much experience in making them.

I visited the restaurant whilst waiting for my flight, once I had sat down staff appeared very disorganised and chaotic but unfortunately I still chose to stay, after ordering my food and waiting for 35 minutes I asked the waitress how much longer it would be as I had a flight to catch and she came back and said ‘oh it didn’t get put through sorry’. She seemed very unbothered by this terrible customer service and I had to board my flight having not eaten. Absolutely terrible.

We were seen too quickly. And we were able to sit where we wanted. The food came quickly and was actually delicious. The chicken and the ribs were very tender and my wife enjoyed the fish. Would recommend to anyone.

My partner and I have been to this Frankie and Bennys on several occasions now and are never disappointed. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice and casual. We have also been lucky enough to have John as our waiter for most of our visits. He has such a wonderful demeanour. You can’t help but be in a good mood too when served by him.

We had a great evening tonight, our server John was really informative and friendly and made it a really special occasion for my birthday by bringing out a cake and singing happy birthday! A great time with lovely food and service!

Sadly Frankie and Benny's have now out priced our meager budget. We visit as a special treat but sadly we won't be visiting them again. Each time the final bill has increased despite having similar meals each visit, It went from £39 on one visit to £41 the next and last visit had soared to £44. The food was good but the cost made it no longer viable for us. Both of us being retired for various reasons we have to budget for treats etc and this has now exceeded our (pleasure)budget that we allocate. Shame on you, at least other places remain consistent on prices.

Wow what an amazing experience Not something we do that much go out for family breakfast.It was a pleasant experience Steve our waiter was super super attentive and his attention was outstanding.He appeared to be the only food waiter that day and had a big party in and a few tables with couple and families. We weren’t in any rush due to a delayed plane but the sign outside said 12 mins from order - food, it didn’t however say it would be over half an hour (despite a couple of attempts at getting attention - we weren’t too bothered due to not being in a hurry) from being seated to having our order taken!! We got seated by a chap who then proceeded to sit himself down at a nearby table and eat....I get that the staff need breaks/food but we didn’t even have menus! He was joined by 2 colleagues who all enjoyed their meals whilst we waited for a menu! Eventually, order taken, food came pretty quickly, was average.....nothing special but edible and filled a gap. Floor was filthy and the whole place seemed a bit grubby, we will probably make do with a Burger King next time we’re waiting for a flight! Such a shame as we are here in May and it was much better, maybe an off day (and the cleaners have all called in sick!)

I normally really like Frankie & Benny restaurants and was looking forward to enjoying dinner at Bristol airport. I only had 45 mins and checked if this would be enough time. I was told orders were taking 15 mins so plenty of time. After 10 mins, I found a waitress and ordered an omelette but 30 mins later nothing had arrived. I explained to the waitress that I only had 5 mins before I had to go. She went to chase my order but did not come back! I spoke to a man this time and he said sorry and walked away. Very disappointed with service and staff attitude.

Very helpful and friendly staff, really good food - impressive 15" pizzas & the big burgers were lush. A little on the expensive side though we used Groupon vouchers which worked out £10 a head for 2 courses. Will dine here again, thankyou for a good experience.

Booked up for a Birthday party , twelve of us went. We were waiting an hour for our starters , I didn’t mind because the girl made sure that we had enough to drink . But the two tables behind us came in a bit later than us , but were served before us . I understand as we were twelve it could take a little longer , but an hour???? I asked a different waiter where was our order and he said we are running behind ..........when the starter came it wasn’t too bad . But when my burger came it was red the cheese must of melted away ?? And the bacon was two pieces of shrivelled I think it was bacon , I asked for extra chips with melted chips and bacon , looked at my sons ordinary portion it was the same...... on top of that she wanted to charge us £30 service charge ??? I will not be recommending this place and will never return .

It's very rare that I write reviews, but this one had to be done. We have had some dodgy visits in the last, however, since the refurb the whole restaurant seems like a different place. The staff were excellent - polite, helpful (they arranged the table after I delivered balloona etc this morning) and couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great time for my daughter's 13th birthday, The restaurant is much brighter and more cheerful than on previous visits, and even the music and ambience also felt the same. But the main mention must go to our waiter, John. An absolutely fantastic member of the team who genuinely made our visit what it was; he engaged with the children (always a bonus when in a family place) upsold like a true boss and was able to recommend the best deals. It's the little things thay make a huge difference and he really did, the whole party appreciated your efforts on a busy night. Would definitely recommend.

I come here quite regularly with my family (we eat out a lot!!) as it’s local. It’s a lovely restaurant with a good lay out, good atmosphere, tasty food & friendly waiting staff. There are a few that have been there years, which I always think is a good sign. I particularly like coming for breakfast/brunch with friends.

I popped in for a takeaway, a 10 inch pizza with chicken. The restaurant was nearly empty so i thought it shouldnt take long but for some reason, when it got to the 30 minutes of waiting mark, I asked how much longer it was going to be.
