Poor service, limited choice due to stock shortage at 4am - aye right! Poorest rolls I have ever been presented with, small & frozen (Glasgow is renowned for quality rolls) what a let down - rubbish value!

Came here to start our holiday. Food looks good on paper. I got the Po’boy sandwich steak and mustard. At almost £16 that’s what it was. Just as well I ordered a side of onion rings. At least that filled a space. The steak was ok but quite a bit of gristle . But not worth the price. I’ve had a better steak sandwich. Then there was the chicken pie and mash. It came with rock hard veg 1 piece broccoli and 1 small but of cauliflower. The half chicken and chips was next. The chicken was quite dry. The whole lot was vastly overpriced. I would expect that in central London and not the weeg airport . Really disappointed and a reminder for me not to go back there

Food arrived cold. Server changed some items without an apology. Meatball were tasteless, no hint of an Italian sauce, just mince literally! My husband had the classic cheese burger. Small tasteless burger on a stale bun with cold chips. Only reason this was not a zero rating is that the chocolate brownie was good. My husband had 2 beers and I had 1 cola. Price for the worst meal I’ve had this year was an eye watering £64.60.

Friendly and hospitable welcome by Matthew, professional yet relaxed, which is nice in the morning. Really good service overall and worthy of comment. Staff working hard, with heads up and looking after customers properly. Well done.

Poor lunch were I was charged £17.90 for a meatball meatfeast with a total of 3(Three) meatballs the size of marbles, although we were a couple my order was 10 mins before my partners & my side of chips were also 10 mins after my Meatfeast?? Meatfeast was definitely the Wrong title for this meal & Very Overpriced for the portion. 👎👎👎👎👎

Was very quiet when we arrived. No wonder! Loads of things not available, sky high prices, appalling food. Only bright spot was the excellent waitress who appeared embarrassed at the situation. Complete rubbish, go somewhere else.

Waiting in big queue outside for 10 minutes, restaurant is heavily under staffed (bad management) impatient person end of queue seats himself and notifies waitress, rather than asking person to wait in the queue she serves him. Ridiculous. No wonder this place is going bust!!! Last year they had ran out of sausages and coffee by 6am.

I have just had breakfast full English here and it was shocking. Cold plate and freezing beans the bacon was really a slice of fat. I had to have egg recooked. The female server was absolutely delightful and apologized but it is the responsibility of the staff who are cooking they are obviously not chef's who take the job seriously,I'm so disappointed definitely no return visit for me.

The restaurant isn’t always full but yet you are left waiting at the front to be seated. Then after that it takes a long time for someone to serve you. This has been the case the last few times i have been in the airport. Very expensive and slow. We actually got up and left one of the times as it was getting right to make the plane!

Ordered omelette to be told that there couldn’t make it however they could scrambled egg . Scrambled eggs had to be sent back because they were freezing . They told us that it was egg, didn’t smell or taste like egg .

Went in for breakfast was told they had no pancakes so ordered the big one only to be told no potato scones and no cubed potatoes so we went for two bacon and egg rolls and two coffees charged us £3.60 for two eggs on the rolls in total £26 your having a laugh won’t be back such a rip off

Queue to get in, dirty tables, limited choice, food was poor. Places like this throw out poor quality knowing they do not rely on return visits as most people might only eat here once per year.

Staff unpleasant, I’m sure however this is due to pressure and being ground down by understaffing by management. Please make the working conditions for your staff better, if you do your service scores will increase! Food is what it is, don’t expect anything fresh or imaginative, but you don’t go here expecting anything more than they deliver

Early morning flight meant find breakfast at 6am So we came to franky and benny's. 1 tea,1 coffee and 2 rolls and link sausage. £8.20 per roll. £22.60 in total Never again will I visit this establishment. Arrived at Glasgow airport for a late morning flight and ventured in here for breakfast with my wife.The initial greeting by the host was super friendly and he quickly escorted us to a table.The restaurant was more than half empty. A female server then appeared with not even a hello but rather “what can I get you?”We ordered coffee and juice which arrived soon after. We then ordered breakfast and wondered why our server seemed to lack the basic “people skills” one would expect in the restaurant business.When the food arrived, the server simply put it on the table and walked away, without asking if we needed anything.I finally flagged her down to ask for some sugar for the coffee. She brought it back then quickly left again. We then flagged down the original host, who at least asked if everything was ok at which time we requested some ketchup.During the course of our meal, our server made several passes without even asking how everything was or if we needed anything else.While still in the middle of our meals, she suddenly appeared and drops the plastic bill tray on the table, stating “here you go!” before leaving.My wife and I looked t each other in shock thinking “what was that?”Suffice to say, we were beyond irritated by this experience, finished our meals and quickly left. This server completely ruined what should have been a pleasant experience. What we couldn’t understand was the place wasn’t even busy so what was the rush in tossing the bill down while we were still eating? Family of 5 (3 kids) popped in for a cooked breakfast before we boarded the plane on our holidays. Despite some bad reviews I've read on here we had a great experience. The breakfasts were delicious and small portions were available for the kids with 4 items. Service was fast and pleasant and as always in F&B;'s we love the catchy 60's music. Departure times on screens throughout so you can keep up to date on flight details. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Came here after poor experience at Wetherspoons on last visit to airport. Much better here, particularly in terms of service/cleanliness. Got seats straight away, went for the American breakfast which was just right in terms of quantity. Bottled beer was horrible, though that's just my taste. Will be back next time.

Had breakfast here this morning before our flight and it was nice. Served quickly and staff very pleasant. We both had the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup - pancakes were nice and fluffy, bacon good and the price was £7.50 per person. We both had tea and again it was good. We were quite satisfied and spent about an hour here. A good start to the day!

Very acceptable standard of breakfast was served before my morning flight - eggs benedict and porridge all up to the expected standard. Consistent with previous experience and commented upon by many reviewers, the service staff maintain a very positive sense of style - very helpful with a genuine aim to please, a bit of fun, appropriate banter and always attentive. Staff training and attitude seems high on F&Bs; agenda at Glasgow Airport - and it shows (my experiences).

Staff were all brilliant. Food and drink was very expensive, and our burgers were cold when served to us. Should be better I'm afraid.

I thought I would try Frankie and Benny’s as I was waiting for a flight and was warmly welcomed by the front of house staff which is always promising. I ordered the 8oz sirloin and unfortunately a fue things were disappointing. The steak was cooked to my liking but the sides were very small. I got not even half a tomato I’d say even just a quarter with mixed herbs sprinkled on top and the smallest portobello mushroom I have ever seen. I also only got 2 small onion rings and to be honest if I’m paying £18.95 for a dish I expect a whole tomato and a decent sized mushroom. The rest of the meal was good and the service was impeccable!

I should probably have known better than order a steak at this restaurant but at Glasgow Airport it was the nearest I could get to fine dining!

actually the one in glasgow fort i went and the place has been newly decorated i love the new style it has its fresh clean and the food menu has been tweeked and changed but again i like that , me and my partner and our baby girl all went on a date night here food was lush service was fab freindly calm atmosphere highly recommend my fave place for a steak and it was perfect

I enjoyed my meal (All American Breakfast) and was even promptly given maple syrup when I asked for it. Ordered a mimosa which was very overpriced but I guess I knew that going in. Dinner was tasty!! I really liked the eggs which was surprising and the quantity was really good (definitely left full). My waiter was not very attentive to me or anyone around me, not really sure what he was doing. However, for an airport restaurant I thought it was good. Would probably eat there again (just not from the bar).

Once again an airport food venue has failed spectacularly. The staff front of house are great, I tipped them. The food was terrible, probably the worst burger I've ever eaten, and I've eaten in some pretty bad places over the years. The 15 minute menu might be the problem. I didn't ask for it in 15 minutes, but my guess is the burger I had was ready, and being kept warm for a very long time. I should have sent it back, and I'm now wishing I did. I will learn not to eat at the airport, but I keep thinking that they can't all be so bad. The only positive thing is that my boss is paying, I'm going to put the indigestion medication on his tab too.

They offer a "fifteen minute" guarantee until you get to the front of the queue (not because they were busy, it's just that the staff totally ignored people waiting at the entrance) and they then tell you that food will take at least 25 minutes.

Avoid this restaurant as their customer service is shocking! We ordered 2 pizza's and waited 50 mins before eventually walking out! No one even came over to apologise for the delay instead just stood and looked at people and talked between themselves! It was the same for all the customers. Where was the manager? Clearly not doing their job to keep customers informed! Eventually we saw the pizza that another table had ordered - i'm glad i didn't wait for it as it looked very unappetising with hardly any toppings on it!!

It is a restaurant in an airport. Food is the same mass produced stuff you get everywhere but service is efficient and it does it’s job well enough. Wouldn’t go here if I wasn’t a captive audience but for a pre flight meal it’s fine

Returning to Gatwick from Glasgow, we set out to find some late lunch in the airport and discovered Frankie and Bennys.

Stopped at F&B; at 6am for some breakfast before our flight. We were greeted by a lovely, smiley member of staff who very quickly seated us at a booth and took our order. The food arrived within 10-15mins of ordering and was very hot and the pancakes were freshly made to order. Our waiter (Liam) was absolutely fantastic. He was very attentive and had a great knowledge of the menu. His bubbly outgoing personality definitely made a massive difference to our experience.

Came for breakie before are flight, food was quick and tasty. Me and my better half was served by Liam, great Service, prompt and on point

Went for lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was quiet but the service was really slow. The impression I got was that the staff could not be bothered. I can only speak for my meal but I know the others at the table didn’t enjoy theirs either. I had a vegan beetroot and quinoa burger with a side salad instead of fries. The bun was dry as was the burger. The salad was drenched in so much dressing I couldn’t eat it. I expected to be asked if I actually wanted dressing before it was covered. The food wasn’t particularly warm and I think it had all sat for a while before it was served, It really wasn’t an enjoyable experience. I’m not sure what Frankie and Bennys are thinking with their new look menu. I personally think it looks cheap but without the prices to match. When it came to the bill I had to go and find someone to pay it. It’s not really the service I expected. There are plenty of other places to eat in the area. Maybe we were just unfortunate but I personally would not go back nor would I recommend.

My wife and I sat down for breakfast for an early flight, the cafe was quite we sat for 10 minutes inside near the bar area, eventually some block with a crabbit fizz face ldroped menues on the table, attitude was rotted, food to ages and as expected was dire, the egg and bagle you could hit off the wall, we waited 20 minutes for a fresh oarnge juice and that was asking them after 10 minutes just how long it takes to get a fresh oarnge.I was foolish to pay, the crabitt waiter said he would get his manager, without us even asking. Must be the worst place ever.........and the crabit waiter should be in the kitchen out the road of the paying public.........this was around 5:30am on Monday the 3rd Sept 2018...................so Frankie & Benny's best check back who was on that morning and get some badly needed staff trainning.
