A combination of a well cooked breakfast made with local ingredients, friendly staff and spotless dining area, has made this restaurant an inspired choice. It was pleasure having the order cooked how we wanted it. The free top up for the filter coffee was welcome. I intended taking a photograph of our breakfast, but was carried away by the taste!

Only one word to describe this cafe! EXCELLENT with both service and food being well above average, would highly recommend it, if you can get a table

Stopped here for lunch while exploring Bembridge and so happy we did! Nothing was too much trouble and they made a special effort with the kids. Had the scampi which was delicious, the kids had a tuna baguette and the egg and chips. Empty plates all round. Reasonable priced and a great atmosphere! Will try the breakfast next time!

We had breakfast here on the last day of our holiday. The owner was very helpful and considerate in meeting our toddlers dietary needs . Very friendly atmosphere and good was delicious. I would suggest you book .

Nothing is too much trouble, and Mark cooks each plate to perfection. As an aside, I struggled to swallow my medication with the cappuccino (why would I do that?!) ; Nicola saw this and gave me a glass of water. PS Great sausages Thank you Mark and Nicola.

We always look forward to a morning trip to Little Fox's for breakfast. We are always greeted by Nicola with a friendly smile and there is a great atmosphere with the locals. Mark always cooks up a storm and serves up a fantastic breakfast each time. Thanks again and see you soon.

A great little cafe, well loved by the locals. It’s right in the heart of Bembridge, is spotlessly clean and very welcoming. They have a good range of hot and cold food including breakfasts and also a lunchtime menu with daily specials. At lunchtime I chose the cooked breakfast and it was lovely, all freshly cooked and well-presented with a minimum of grease. My partner picked the cheese omelette with salad and that was also delightful.

Discovered this lovely cafe yesterday on a visit to Bembridge. Absolutely first class food and lovely friendly service. Started with a coffee and cheeky cake whilst waiting for my wife and ended up having breakfast. Will be a regular haunt.

Spotted Little Fox`s when it was time for lunch. What a find! Spotlessly clean, welcoming and great value. The soup was piping hot (we were offered cream in it) and the bread was just right. Along with a big pot of tea or the two of us, we left very happy. The toilet facilities are excellent too. Very highly recommended.

Visited at lunchtime and had the all day breakfast. The quality of every item was excellent and served on hot plates. The tea and coffee were also first class. The cost was reasonable. We were served by a lovely lady who was so helpful, friendly and attentive. The place is so clean and bright. A truly great experience. The only downside for us is that we are visiting the area and cannot attend this lovely establishment regularly.

We were cycling round the island and stopped at this fantastic cafe. The lemon meringue drizzle cake is superb and the coffee was very good too. Highly recommended and nice staff too.

It was evident that only top quality ingredients made up the excellent breakfasts at Little Foxes. The whole breakfast menu was sensibly priced and the free coffee and tea top ups made the visit very good value. Empty plates were evidence of how much we enjoyed the tasty breakfasts. We visited this restaurant whilst on holiday in Bembridge. We didn't boom so no room at the Inn but we were made very welcome in the garden. Excellent bembridge crab and fish specials plus a very good wine list.

We visited Fox's one evening whilst on holiday nearby and really enjoyed it. It is run by a husband and wife team and Nicola was very friendly and helpful. We liked it so much that we returned another day for breakfast, which was also very good.

Really nice traditional breakfast and reasonably priced, very clean and tables are distanced well. Good fry up and good coffee and really nice staff. Only thing that gave it 4 and not 5 was the vegetarian offering was limited to ‘fry up’ with bacon and sausage missing. Veggie sausages included would give this place a 5! Visited with our two boys whilst staying in Bembridge. The menu was enticing and varied. I enjoyed the lamb and so too our Camembert starter. My wife and the boys had the meze (not certain is was hugely authentic, but it was nice) chicken and leak pie and chicken breast with bacon. Deserts were nice too. It felt a little like we were in our dining room at home and the cooking smells were somewhat strong at times, so quite ‘homely’. Very nice people and quite reasonable. Could have done a bit more with some background music as unfortunately my wife’s ability to hear another diner criticise her for explaining from Wikipedia some of the IOW history was a little unfortunate.

A lovely meal with great service. We visited, pre booked with a mixed group of 12 people with a baby during covid. The owner explained that there may be a delay with our food due to reduced kitchen staff. Very friendly and knew the menu very well. I had the poached salmon which was amazing, there was also a crab salmon and prawn salad which looked immense. The restaurant was relaxed and comfortable with an outdoor seating area for warm evenings. We had a very good meal and the service couldn’t be faulted. Highly recommended and would definitely go back.

Hi,We dined there last night. My partner has been there before but it was my first visit.The place is well set out given the current Covid 19 situation.The staff are friendly, the service was very good and the food fantastic.We had three courses including a steak, a bottle of vine and a pint which came out as just under £75.We wouldn't hesitate to return.

We went for a Christmas Lunch on the last visit but have eaten at Fox's several times in the past year. Every meal has been a delight. The freshest vegetables, excellent quality meats and incredible service. Can't recommend one meal over another, they're all great.Fox's also make some of the best desserts, so if you're at the end of your meal and wondering 'Should I.........when the dessert menu arrives, give yourself a real treat and go for it.

I'm from the island, but recently moved back after years of living in London. Now, while I was a fan of Whitecross St's Market Cafe's Set Number 6 (known as my "usual"), it was pretty standard greasy spoon fare. The best bacon sandwich I ever found was the three-rasher doorstep number from the Blues cafe (now sadly no longer there) on West Smithfield. But none of that, nothing, compares to the full breakfast at Fox's. It's a hearty fry-up for sure, yet it's elegant too. The bacon is always cooked to perfection; the sausages are just enough, they don't overwhelm and there's something about the toast and/or perhaps the butter they use, or perhaps it's becuase it comes in a homely little wicker basket that makes me feel like I'm eating in a farmhouse on a meadow. It's always the just the right amount and sets me up for the day. Coupled with the welcoming staff and great service, this is the finest breakfast on the island. Come at me!

Well we had a party here sometime back but as there was a lot of us it was not top class and put it down to the large number of people ! Well we thought we would try lunch alas plastic flowers on tables drinks served in awful glasses,My starter was over cooked as well as my main also had to ask for water !! Portions very small,Special board so small you can hardly read it but on a brighter side the deserts were good ! The owners have been here a long time and I feel have lost that edge a great shame. Also the decor needs upgrading sorry my views !,

Went here with my uncle for lunch, we sat in the garden and I also had my dog with me who was very welcome. The staff incredibly helpful and polite, food absolutely delicious - happy to recommend for lunches and we have been back for their delicious and generous breakfasts.

We managed to get a table for 2 last thing on a Sunday lunchtime. My sister and I are vegetarians and didn't want a roast dinner but the owner was very accommodating and we had a delicious goats cheese salad. Friendly atmosphere and nice decor.

During a visit to the IoW we went to Fox’s for breakfast.... very diverse menu available, we went for the smaller full breakfast, egg, bacon, sausage, beans and tomato with a slice of toast, locally sourced and delicious. The restaurant itself is very welcoming and dogs were allowed too. The evening menu looks great too, well worth a visit if you’re staying in the island

Spent last week on the isle of Wight.

£7.50 for the large full English Breakfast and £5.50 for the small full was very good value. A big pot of fresh tea and a basket of toast included. Contrary to another review we found the service most friendly and efficient. We really didn't have to wait long for our breakfast platters to arrive. The food was nicely presented and very tasty. It is very close to the excellent wet fish shop, perfect for a break whilst waiting for the fish to be prepared. Reasonably easy to park close by if early enough. Opens at 9.30 for breakfast

Hadn’t been to Fox’s for some years, but we were delighted on our return. Great food, good ambience.

My 3 year old said they are the best sausages ever and thoroughly enjoyed them. Me and the wife really enjoyed the food as well. Gammon, egg and chips was delicious. Lovely well kept garden for the little people to run about on a beautiful day. Great start to our holiday. The manageress is particularly lovely and very welcoming.

These guys could help themselves by learning the first rule of service... never return to the kitchen empty handed.Ignore this and you have tables filled with dirty plays and you double up on your time and steps.Food nice, service terrible - staff in dreamland and unable to multi task.
