Foxes Tea Rooms in Cheshire West and Chester

We have been coming here for a while and still enjoy our visits and the food is great quality but it hasn't been as hot as it could be recently, particularly the breakfasts. Amend this small issue & it will be back to 5 out of 5. Staff are lovely and work really hard and are always really pleasant and helpful.

Lovely cafe , breakfast was amazing,, all freshly cooked food. Great value for money. Staff lovely and hard working nothing too much trouble. Premises very clean. Would highly recommend a visit, but advise booking as it gets very busy especially at the weekend.

What a gem of a place. Food was cooked to order and just how you wanted it. The flavour was perfect. You could tell the quality of the food. You had a wait for your food which just proves to me its being cooked fresh. The staff couldn't have been any more friendly. Prices were extremely reasonable considering the quality of the food. Will 100% be going back 😀

Staff are all incredibly friendly and efficient. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Food consistently tasty. Advisable to book, as it is very popular with lots of regulars. We visit often and are never disappointed

What a little gem! Our Granddaughter took us for our first visit. It was perfect; Dawn looked after us and she was great. No fuss, good food, great cuppa. We will definitely be visiting again.

Cracking little cafe just at the end of the M56. Good, honest food (particularly good veggie breakfast) and drink and friendly service. The whole place spotlessly clean. Reasonable prices and easy parking. What more could you ask for.

We are staying on the campsite immediately behind the tearooms so after a late night last night thought we would be lazy and have breakfast cooked for us, so glad we did really surprised at how popular this little tearoom is, despite being really busy the food came out in no time.e at all, beautifully hot and so obviously freshly cooked, the welcome we received was second to none, what a jewel of a place, thank you

A pal and I visited for breakfast to catch up and I'm glad he suggested Foxes Tea Rooms & Cafe. We each had a medium breakfast. The bacon was so tasty and cooked to perfection. The rest of the breakfast was also fantastic. One thing I l liked was that the toast was provided, pre-buttered to the edges (good quality butter, also), meaning no fiddly cold butter portions to unwrap, that some cafes or restaurants provide. The staff were friendly and took an interest in their customers which is not always seen. Thank you for a great experience. We both left full and will return

Foxes Tea rooms & cafe is a great place if you are looking for a great breakfast. The service here is brilliant and they are great with allergies and i would like to come again

We are a small car group of friends and start many of our runs out from Foxes. This particular trip was a 3250 mile European Trip France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Luxembourg France trip. We were out and about and fancied a nice cooked breakfast, Google found us the Foxes cafe & tearooms and we are so glad it did. From the minute we walked in it was welcoming but not intrusive, the owner/manager is such a lovely breath of fresh air. All the staff were brilliant and the food and coffee was so tasty. Cooked breakfast and flat white were both beautiful, eggs cooked how you like em to perfection. Nothing was to much trouble, great variety of people visiting which I really liked. Its a place everyone can enjoy. For disabled info, easy access no steps and brilliant sturdy chairs both inside and out. This is now our new favourite place 😍

What a lovely find today, family of 4 all had different breakfast options from full English to son free breakfast and it was all fresh, hot & tasty. Staff were attentive, friendly and food was served nice & quickly too. Highly recommended

Staying at Oakwood Farm Mews we visited Foxes on several occasions. Food freshly cooked,not greasy and fast friendly service. Would very highly recommend.

We have been eating in Foxes in its various locations over the years and can honestly say the present location and staff have been the best.We have only ever eaten breakfast here but both the vegetarian and the usual breakfasts have always been hot, on hot plates, well cooked and plentiful.The staff are very polite, friendly and helpful.We eat here maybe once or twice a month and have never had anything to complain about.We aim to be regular returners and hope the standards and staff remain the same.

Visited for breakfast a number of times, each time the breakfast has been cooked how we like and changes made with no issues! Always found to have been super accommodating especially with our cheeky 1 year old in tow, serving his breakfast on a plastic plate with plastic cutlery, a great touch making breakfast a much less noisy affair.

This is a brilliant cafe, food is perfectly cooked, plenty of choice with a varied menu for breakfast and lunch. Staff are friendly and always smiling. Given the popularity of the cafe sometimes there maybe a wait, but is worth it!It’s the perfect place to have a great breakfast on a cold morning.

We always stop here if going out for the day as it sets us up for day. Service was impeccable as always and the breakfasts great and great value for money.

We had a cooked breakfast here having eaten at this cafe before they moved location. The plate was swimming in grease (probably from the fried egg) and the plate itself was cold. Had a couple of bites and left the rest. We ended up going elsewhere. Why could not kitchen staff have spotted it, or if not them the waitress? Complete waste of money and time. Why take on a good cafe with a good reputation and ruin it?

So disappointing, and so exspensive. 2 cheese on toast what was not even melted a can of pop and a tea £720 , I thought it was a wind up .I don't know how people would pay those prices for that type of quality food

My husband had been here a few times before and raves about it so thought I’d go see what all the fuss was about. Had the medium breakfast which was one of the best I’ve had. We visit on Saturday. After reviewing the website, we really looked forward to the “view of the countryside”. Despite much effort, we didn’t find this view. The cafe is located within some form of container-like building. Appears to be on the same site as a caravan site? It has a really cold feeling to it.

We have eaten here many times, normally on the way for a day out as it means we don't need to worry about lunch. We always have their medium breakfast which is great value for money and very tasty. We always find the staff friendly and the service great even when they are busy.

We called in for breakfast, whilst staying at the touring park. My husband had a medium and I had vegetarian, perfect size portions, good quality fresh produce all cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed it. Lovely clean place with decent size tables and friendly staff.

Having recently moved to Woodbank we were keen to read the reviews of the cafe situated on a farm just down the road serving great breakfasts! What a lovely little cafe. Very friendly staff, basic menu but the food was fab. 6 adults eating 6 different meals and we were all impressed. Even the bacon butty was made with lovely bread, salty butter and good bacon. The veggies were well catered for but the care and attention of the staff was so nice, nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous little cafe with lovely, friendly staff. Breakfasts are out of this world, very tasty and all fresh. Sandwiches and salads are scrummy too. Definitely one you must try, I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Whenever we have an early start due to going on a trip we always stop here for breakfast, we always have the same thing, a medium breakfast. The food is always hot and freshly cooked and sets us up for the day and means that we don't have to worry about getting any lunch while that day.

Was staying at Oakwood Farm and went to the Café for breakfast with family. Best gluten free breakfast I've ever had. Friendly service. We had a dog and sat outside. Bought some gluten free carrot cake to take away and was delicious. Would definitely recommend and will go back when next in area.

Called in on Saturday lunchtime for a breakfast. Went for a medium with an extra egg, fabulous. Don't know where they get their sausages and bacon from but they are stunning. The portions are just right (couldn't finish it all), really friendly staff and great atmosphere. Well done!

The quality and quantity of the food here is phenomenal. The food is cheap but does not compromise the quality of the locally sourced produce. Definitely my favourite place for breaky, especially the toast!! The service here is second to none, the staff are very attentive and cater to even the fussiest of needs (sorry again); nothing is ever too much for them! They provide many options for dietary requirements like veggie, vegan, gluten free. The decor inside is lovely, full of funny and heartwarming decorations. Called into Foxes Tea rooms & Cafe for my lunch.

2 members of our party have a hearing disability and we were seated by the coffee grinder and asked to move. We were told this was ok, but halfway between the tables another waitress rudely said “what are you doing” when we said we were moving table she very rudely sai “what’s wrong with that one” and was clearly put out that we would not stay were we were put.

While staying at Oakwood Farm we thought we would try the onsite Foxes Tea Rooms and Cafe for Sunday breakfast. We could see it was very popular as it was full and we had to sit outside in the sunshine while waiting for a table to become free.

All-day breakfast is fab. Everything is well cooked and hot even the toast. Lovely. Only issue is the entrance from the main road, it's a bit tight and it is close to the traffic lights on a fast road

Popped in for a hearty breakfast after the dog walk. Strong coffee, large generous portions and friendly staff. They’ve made the best of a prefabricated unit with lots of quirky and personalised pictures, clocks and plaques.

Nice cafe but only a view of the carpark. good for breakfast if you happen to be passing worth a stop.

It doesn't look much from the outside but inside is cosy. We enjoyed healthy scrambled egg (with spinach) on toast, fried eggs on toast (not greasy, bonus), pot of tea and a black coffee. Left full and content. Reasonably priced, good service. Clean unisex toilet. Small gripe, the table could have done with a wipe before we ate.

DONT follow your sat nav ....the post code is wrong and sends you to Oakwood Farm which has a large notice on the gate saying 'no turning' this is not Foxes tea rooms....it's actually 900 yards further on the other side of the road.

Foxes Tea Rooms serve an excellent full English breakfast. The sausages are top quality and locally sourced.The service is friendly and welcoming.

My husband found this little gem on here! So we decided to pop along for breakfast. We had a lovely warm welcome and told to sit anywhere we liked and someone would bring a menu over to us.

My friends and I stopped here for breakfast the morning after a days shopping at the outlet and I’m glad we did.

A small cafe of around a dozen tables, which was full when we arrived. The staff quickly re set a table following the departure of a large group and we sat down. Drinks were offered almost immediately with menu’s. Our orders were taken after a few minutes and we were set to eat our fill. The food is sourced locally and was presented on the plate very well apart for the fact that one of our party didn’t want beans and got them. This was changed quickly with apologies. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast, toast, coffee, tea and paid our bill which was £17.00. Great value for great local produce. The highlight was the bacon. They provide a sin free option and a gluten free also and serve cakes as well. The staff buzzed around and couldn’t have been more pleasant and accommodating. If you are anywhere near Foxes, sneak in and grab a bite!
