Went for my birthday. I asked if they did any birthday treat and I was told no. Fair enough. The food was not fresh. It was obvious it was left overs that they reheated. I’m pregnant and started getting a belly ache. That visit was not great for my birthday treat. I’ve been there before and it was not that like.

17 of us went for dinner to celebrate my mother in laws birthday. We went on a Sunday to have the special Sunday Roast meal. We all had various meals, roast chicken, roast beef and vegitarian option. All meals were really tasty and well cooked with good flavours. This included vegetables and Yorkshire pudding. The portion size was really good, some of us could not finish so we were allowed to take away the rest. Desert was really good as well, apple crumble and ice cream or custard. The chocolate cake was also good. The two staff who looked after us were really pleasant and helpful. They attended to our every need. I would definitely recommend the Sunday roast.

A diamond in the rough!! I had my reservations at first being in Catford and all, BUT I'm soo oooo happy I went, Food was amazing!! I mean really amazing!!! Very chilled vibe, good atmosphere, service was really good, very attentive. Did not feel rushed to leave or hurry up, waitress was lovely. We will see you again soon

Searched around for a Sunday roast and this seemed the only place. So glad we stopped and enjoyed it. The food was top noch! We enjoyed Sunday lunch ( beef). Everything was cooked to perfection, homemade gravy was delicious and full of flavour. The decor is very chic and the staff and the owner are so welcoming and friendly. We already planning the next visit with some more friends. Thank you and well done!!

Wow wow wow, good was excellent, we ordered prawn for starter and I was amazed by the taste and good portion. I than ordered lamb shank and salmon both dish were beautiful and taste was out of this world… hats off to the chef. Great customer service and great food thank you

Family Meal Amazing venue very clean, nicely decorated, great ambiance and fun music. The food...AMAZING!! Everything from starter to desert tasted 100% delicious, fresh & flavoursome (I recommend the lobster tail dish). Great service, friendly staff, didnt have to wait long for food, it's nice that the manager is visible and talks to customers. Oh forgot the cocktails...WOW..lush and not watered down at all you can definitely taste the alcohol!! Great experience everyone wants 2 go again & another 8 people are now going just based off my photos!!

This was my 3rd time at this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Atompshere and abience is great for couples or a family. Service was friendly and welcoming and food and cocktails were 10 out of 10

Excellent service, the waitress was very attentive and the food fantastic. We had the lobster, lolly pop chicken and the jewellery box dessert. All was exceptional. We will definitely be back with friends.

From the moment we entered the staff were attentive. I was a little disappointed as what wanted wasn’t on the menu but it was explained it was the Sunday menu which is different to the weekday menu. The food was lovely, my friend had a problem with her lobster being slightly undercooked but they exchanged it with no complaint. My other friend enjoyed it so much she booked a family dinner for the following week. Excellent.

My husband and I really enjoyed our evening. It was a quiet Wednesday evening. The cocktails were great. Staff were attentive and the service was second to none. The food was delicious, loved the starters. The main course was also good, my salmon was slightly over cooked for me but still very tasty. The Jewellery Box selection full of different flavours!

Great atompshere and excellent cocktails. Second time going to restaurant and still was happy with the service and ambience of the restaurant. Only downside was not everything was available on the menu and I personally was not a fan of the deep fried mac and cheese. Will definitely go again though as the cocktails were definitely a winner

I celebrated my 30th birthday at Fourteen87 with a private party. Leke, the owner, is incredibly professional and helpful from the enquiry stage and all throughout the booking process. He was happy to answer and help with any and all questions and queries. The hospitality and service on the night was perfect. My guests and I felt very well looked after. Food was delicious and the ambience in the restaurant was absolutely lovely. Everyone was complimentary on the decor inside and loved that they were able to support a black owned business. Fourteen87 comes with the highest of recommendations from me. If you are considering celebrating a special event, definitely consider having it here!

Thank you so much 1487 restaurant and bar. I decided to celebrate my 50th birthday at this venue. First l had a three course meal with family. The owner Leke was very accomodating beforehand by arranging a set meal designed specifically for my family members' dietary requirements. The food was lovely, hot and served on time with a smile. After the meal, my DJ and friends arrived to dance the night away. The whole evening was memorable. My friends are now considering celebrating their birthdays at this venue as well. The food here is exceptional. I came here pre-COVID but hadn’t been back so wondered if it was still as good. The blend of flavors and textures is food alchemy. We had jackfruit tacos, crispy tofu, plantain green curry and amazing dessert which was mango and coconut flavors. We went on a Weds evening and couldn’t believe the place was so quiet. This is the best food within a five mile radius- possibly further and a shame it’s not busier. Good options for carnivores and veggies/vegans which is unusual in itself- and a very extensive cocktail offering. Also amazing value for money. Service was excellent. My only criticism was the background music was a bit loud but they even turned than down on my request. Will definitely return.
