The Factory in Lewisham

I’ve been coming here for about 6 months now, at least 2-3 times a week. They do the best panini’s in London lol. Staff are super friendly and it’s a family run buisness which gives it that extra warm feeling. Chai latte slaps and it’s super affordable. Honestly get anything on the menu and you won’t be disappointed.

Just make sure you don't take out because you'll never get your food. The food delivery app is not doing anything about it because "the restaurant is in charge of the deliveries". We called for an hour straight with no answer from the restaurant and we're still trying to get a refund

New management have done a great job revamping the menu and are really friendly and welcoming. Try the taco's, they're super hearty and more like wraps than open shell ones. A new lunchtime favourite.

Was invited by the owner to visit the cafe. So me and my wife went there. I was greeted with a worm and friendly smile. The food wonderful and the service was excellent.

Came here for lunch. Exceptional service. Really friendly and accommodating. My girlfriend had the Algerian Tuna Panini and said it was incredible. I had a bacon panini and it was lovely. Really affordable and worth a visit!

There is a Nando's over the road. This place should be busier.

This is a great place to eat in Catford. The portions are perfect and the food really well cooked and really fresh. This is the second time I have visited and I would happily return again.

Good service and a friendly atmosphere. Tasty sweet potato fries and the burger was ok. Excellent price. For people with reduced mobility there is no accessible toilet. Overall was a good experience.

Great place with lovely staff. Ordered the Halloumi skewers and I would definitely have it again as it was very fresh and a plus for a tasty salad with the meal.

The food is great (and really affordable)and the staff si very friendly and careful with your needs. If I'll come back to London, I'll definitely visit again ❤️

Good food and excelente waitress

The food was lovely and affordable The calamari was freshly made and the mixed grill and salmon were both tasty. I wanted to leave special review and thank you to the staff on Sat9th April. My partner was feeling unwell after we left, and we returned to get some foot hot water (for his Lemsip) which they kindly accommodated. We will both be returning very soon!

Waited for two hours for the food to be delivered. The first rider canceles and keep taking long. After two hours of waiting I Received a rude call from the restaurant telling me they waiting on someone to pick up the order. They gave me wrong number to call for support instead of simply canceling my order. Two and a half hour later finally there was someone to pick up the order. Sure after two hours on hot pass food would be perfect and delicious and no chance of food poisoning. Thank the factory for kept me waiting on waste.

Ordered food on Just Eat. The portion sizes are very generous. I had the sea bass, and it was huge. Value for money and tasty food, what more would you want! Very happy customer, would highly recommend them.

Very clean and with good attention to Covid safety. We had a range of different foods, all delicious. Sadly, the restaurant was empty because of Covid, but that did not stop the staff from helping us. Our meals were very good value for money.

Comimos aquí un jueves temprano en la noche. Estaba muy limpio y tenía un ambiente agradable. Aunque la iluminación parecía bastante baja (como tenue) al principio, pronto nos acostumbramos. Nos pareció un poco frío sentado junto a la ventana (esto fue en parte nuestra culpa, ya que no nos habíamos preparado para el cambio en el clima) pero no fue un problema para nosotros mover las mesas. Las raciones eran buenas y la comida fresca. Teníamos hamburguesas y una parrillada mixta, todos estaban deliciosos. Las batatas fritas eran las mejores. Definitivamente regresaría de nuevo. Recomendar.

Had lunch there today with my cousins I had the hummus and hallumi burger with sweet potatoes Fries and ginger beer the food was fantastic and the service was great the premises is so relaxing love the decor will be return again to try more delights on the menu

Love all their grilled menu. 5 star eating place does not always come in big places but also in small places. Will recommend it for people if they want well grilled sea bass, prawns, lamb chops, chicken wings accompanied with well cooked tasty rice and salad or well fried chips, and other well prepared and yummy options.

Extremely disappointed with the food, I was actually looking forward to eat here, as the menu looked appetising. Unfortunately, meat was very chewy and not seasoned properly. And the salad was just lettuce and one cucumber and one cherry tomatoe.

Esta es nuestra cuarta visita a la fábrica y no será la última. Su comida siempre es sabrosa, carne recién preparada y de buena calidad. El tamaño de las porciones es generoso y el personal siempre es amable.

The Factory surprised me. Had no real idea what we were going to, it just happened to be open and looked promising on a Sunday night. It was actually quite comfortable and the food was very good. I had salmon, which was tasty and well-presented. My partner had moussaka, which he liked. Reasonable prices, good service. Likely to return.

The food is delicious, good portion and good value for money. Went for lunch with friends and it was very busy, but the staff worked swiftly and efficiently. Great service. Will go back.

Had the sharing veggie mezze platter. It was so good and fresher than fresh. Really good value too. The orange juice was squeezed moments before serving too. Fine place

We have been coming to factory since it opened and I have to say the food is always fantastic , Gilda and the team always go above and beyond to make our experience great and the food is excellent and 100% consistent this for me is the best restaurant in South London by far and the prices are so cheap for such good quality. Very clean healthy food without loads of oil there is not one negative thing I could say about it. The wine is also nice as is the background music I tell everyone I know about it!

I was completely surprised that the food was very tasty and much better than a lot of restaurants in London although the prices are quite low. Especially because it's not just a fast food store.

We held a large family party at The Factory this week. I was so pleased and grateful for the flexibility of the restaurant and staff, as well as sage advices from Gilda and Klaudia. The prices for the food are reasonable so are for drinks. The services are lovely, friendly and none intrusive. But the jewel of this restaurant is its fresh home made food and cooking!! I'm telling everyone about The Factory 😍 Thank you The Factory for a wonderful stress free day!

Halloumi wrap is bomb. Customer service is great and really has a good vibe about it. Not to mention how reasonable the prices are :o only thing I'd say is that they desperately need wifi facilities. This is 2019, what restaurant/cafe doesn't have Wi-Fi these days?! :/

Friendly, wooden décor, tasty fresh food! Halloumi kebab, and falafels were really nice. Served with salad and rice, or chips.

Love this place.. Food is fresh and tasty. Staff are lovely and friendly, worth the visit and price is very reasonable, i always go with the kids and for two adults and two children my average spend is around £45 (Starters main and drinks)

If I could give less than one star, I would. Shockingly awful food. Ordered on Deliveroo for the first time and as well as tasting greasy and burnt, they didn’t even deliver the full order. No discredit to Deliveroo, but would definitely not order from The Factory ever again. Would not recommend. Wasn’t worth the calories or money.

Nice food, large portions, friendly staff, good value. Music was a little loud and atmosphere could be better when it's busier but would certainly go back.

I always enjoy the food here. Not the typical kebab/Turkish food place. Menu is simple but what they do they do well. The Halloumi skewers are a personal favourite :)

Poor service - I went in for a drink and snack, it was mostly empty and late afternoon but I was quizzed about how much I would order and told they don’t really do ‘just drinks’ before being turned away. Makes it hard to support local businesses when the service is so poor, huge shame as I would be put off going there to eat now.

I was taken for lunch by a friend and it really was a lovely meal. The food is excellent and the service efficient. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We visited yesterday lunchtime, wow what a find we had such lovely food, generous portions and great quality. The service was outstanding & we were made to feel very welcome by the waitress. Moussaka was so filling we had to take half a portion away in a doggy bag! will definately return.

I’ve been to this restaurant twice now and I was so surprised to find such a lovely quiet place in Catford. The food is amazing, and has been consistent, the staff are so friendly and it’s just amazing! I’d travel far if I had to for this restaurant! My fav dish is the starter! The king prawns in the tomato sauce 😍

I'm glad I've now been able to give a positive review of the Factory; a month ago I popped in for a quick coffee when it was virtually empty and was unceremoniously turned away and was told they wouldn't give me a coffee without me ordering food -pretty unusual these days. However today I went in and ordered the £5 (lamb kofte) wrap and soft drink. The wrap was small but tasty with a salad garnish. I'll go back sometime and try a more substantial meal. I'd give them 5 stars if they review their policy on serving coffee without a food order. If they were really busy I'd understand, but when they're nearly empty it makes no sense - they nearly lost me as a customer.

Great Value and service. Food has always been excellent and as a local I have been several times. Would definitely reccomend!! Come to a small local business rather than the large chain next door.....

I've been here a good few times with my kids and it's somewhere where we run out for a quick bite to eat that seriously taste good. I've tried a few things on the menu and have not been disappointed. Nice place. The shop opens up nicely on the summer days, and you can sit outside. The food is always fresh and hot, also very reasonably priced.

The Factory is a great spot for people watching whilst eating tasty food. Really helpful and friendly staff, and the food is fresh and well presented. I've only given it four stars because they served frozen chips (nice as they were) but they could be so much tastier if made from fresh potatoes with the skin on. And ideally their iced lemon tea should be home made rather then Lipton in a plastic bottle. These two easy adjustments would push this place to five stars. Highly recommended.

Met for lunch on the off chance - that and there aren't many choices in Catford. Was really surprised with the decor, the food, and the service! had a bacon & cheese burger my friend had a veggie wrap.... all very nice and cheap. I dropped one star due to the dirty table, had to ask for it to be cleaned and the burger was a little overdone for me - but was still very tasty. Would go back for sure!

Lovely, lovely place, food and staff. Good value and a range of different people in there tonight from all walks of life. This is the best thing to happen to Catford since Nando’s! 😂 The Mediterranean menu offers lots of choice and I recommend both...

Went there for late lunch on Saturday. They were very accommodating of our baby. The service was excellent, the staff always served us with a smile on their faces. The food was very tasty too. I loved the deco of the restaurant, very simple and kind of rustic. The only thing to improve is that they don't have baby changing facilities.

First Dined at the factory with my family on its opening day in March!! Was so excited as I watched and waited patiently for completion of building work. Was well worth the wait. The food and service was excellent. Have visited several times since and cannot fault the food....reasonably priced too! Fantastic little spot especially as the weathers picked up. Great addition to Catford. 2 guesses where I found myself after writing the above review...( just clicked on edit) yup you guessed...had a busy day....could not be asked to cook so walked to my favourite local restaurant! Food just seems to get better and better each visit! Just sitting back after a delicious meal with folding doors pulled back.. simply enjoying the cool evening breeze😎
