Forty2 in Highland

Up until a few weeks ago, I had only heard good things about the food here, but had never tried it. I have just had my thirs trip here for thhe lunch special, and felt compelled to leave a review. AMAZING. Portion sizes are spot on, ingredients, recipes, taste, quality is by far the best I have had for lunch anywhere in Inverness. Always good to pre book your collection, as the specials do sell out, quickly. There's an option for most, daily specials, loaded fries, salads, soups, pastries, pies and cakes. The owner, and chef, is a very friendly guy who's attention to detail and quality is second to none. I had the absolute pleasure of having the jerk chicken today, served with seasoned rice and beans, fresh spring onions, coleslaw, charred corn on the cob and a pineapple salsa. Absolutely superb meal and priced well at £9, which nobody can complain about price v quality. Highly recomended

One word "Amazing" had a burger with cheese and bacon and chips - under a tenner and was well worth it, going to tell everyone about this place...

Oh my god guys this is one of the best place in the highlands! I have heard so many people talk about this place and being a foodie why I haven’t been here before is beyond me - it’s safe to say I HAVE BEEN MISSING OUT!! Couldn’t recommend enough! Warning - you will want to order everything on the menu! I can’t wait for my next visit and look forward to coming back and trying more from the menu 😍

I've been eating amazing food for over a year here. The quality of all the food is fantastic. I've eaten some dishes I would never normally try and been blown away with them! I am so glad they are now open Friday night!

Today was not the first and FAR from the last visit I'll make here. With an absolutely mouth watering menu from the soup to the specials to the desert - everything is as fresh as it is delicious 💯
