Nice clean pub, good selection of drinks and always 2 ales available, food is available but I've not tried it yet. Always shows popular sports on numerous TV's. Updated: I spent the evening watching the football and got charged different prices for exactly the same round through the evening. ☹️

Okay. Great if you are a lager drinker not if you like real ale. Inside is like someone's sitting room

Frindly pub with darts, fruties, pool table, and food. The garden is spectacular in the summer (and winter if you like the cold - plus there are heaters). If you are a sports fan, then there are always live games and matches here creating a great atmosphere. You can watch sport inside or in the garden TV area. I've always enjoyed going to this pub. And a guy Nick there always makes it a friendly and lively place.

Nice sports bar with a good selections of ales on offer, friendly locals that involve you in thier chat, good pricing for good food and good beer. Without doubt the best pint in Paddock Wood. Decor not to everyone's taste but it's clean and tidy . Recommended

Saved my life and that of many others!! I must come back and have a beer. At the end of a warm Paddock Wood half marathon race, the race organisers decided, against their race information details, NOT to provide any water for finishers. Many of us suffered, but, this pub had set out tables and were offering water free to runners nearly at the end, warning them that there was no water at the finish, AND offering it to people like me who had finished and were gasping for a drink. Thanks and well done. (Trip Advisor spell-check is wrong)

The food is exceptional, great value for money, 10/10. Perhaps 12/10 for the portion sizes alone. You will not be disappointed. Great service, lovely welcoming. Highly recommended to anyone passing by for Lunch Tuesday to Saturday and Dinner Wednesday to Saturday.

Came today for the mid week roast … amazing is an understatement there is nothing I could fault with it, the cauliflower cheese is to die for, chicken and beef cooked to perfection and a very generous serving. I have eaten here a few times and every single meal has been delicious. Staff and chef are always so friendly and would highly recommend coming here for a meal and drink.

Popped in a few weeks ago for a family catch up meal, the food was absolutely fantastic massive compliments to the chef and was extremely spacious and really friendly and welcoming staff. Price is extremely good for the quality of the food. Thank you again all of you.

The most unusual thing about this pub is its strong wooden front door, which is curiously broad for its height. I would love to know its history. It looks heavy, but swings open quite easily directly into the pub, which is a single space stretching back a surprisingly long way, with different areas demarcated in various ways. There is a central fireplace ahead of you as you enter, set into a brick partition. To the right is the bar, with honey-coloured woodwork and with a dimpled silvery background to the spirit bottles. The pub name is delicately carved out of the wood at the top of the woodwork behind the bar and backlit in red. Everything is clean and tidy. There are TV screens behind the bar and in a cosy area to the left. Sky is usually available. A Moorish-inspired screen of airy dark aubergine-coloured brick arches divides the pub in half from front to back. Just behind it can be seen an area with a dartboard and tables. At the far end of the pub there is a pool table and a wall lined with honey-coloured wooden panelling. The landlord pours drinks with expertise and grace. He does not stint as he runs the tap to displace the froth, and then he smoothly hands the brimming glass to the customer. The landlord and landlady are friendly but are obviously perfectionists. The pub has an unusually wide selection of whiskies, which no doubt tempts the customers, including those from north of the border. The jukebox is great, and I look forward to the time when I can return to sample its musical delights again--"We'll meet again." The pub was not easy to spot, as it has a very restrained exterior and is set well back from the (one way) road on which it stands.

Great place for breakfast for vegans and non-vegans. We all loved our waffles, especially the banana and nut one. Service was terrific.

Stumbled across this wine bar when we were looking for some pre dinner drinks. Wonderful cosy atmosphere and classy yet funky interior. Friendly and professional service and wonderful wine ( Alsace Pinot Blanc.. my favourite)! We will definitely be back and will make sure to eat next time too!

We had a wonderful Sunday night meal at Lago. All courses were to a high standard with a great bottle of red. Filippo looked after us well and shared good knowledge of the menu and the other servers were polite, warm and efficient. Would recommend.

Sanjay’s is an excellent cafe located in Tunbridge Wells on St. John’s road near Sainsburies. The food is of exceptional quality all freshly prepared and locally sourced. The service is outstanding and you will feel well looked after here. The pricing is also extremely reasonable. I visit as often as I can. Highly recommended.
