Small coffee shop. Quite cramped with little room between tables. Busy when we went. Table from previous customer was cleared fairky quickly and given a rather cursory wipe over. Order at counter. Good selection of hot and cold sandwich fillings. Service slow and one of our 3 peoples order arrived several minutes after the first two. One of us had toasted sandwich and two ciabatta which all came with side salad and crisps. Good portion sizes although the salad was mainly shredded lettuce. No evidence of a toilet. Wouid probably go again if in West Bridgford.

We did an office lunch run and went in to order, as we knew it would be a wait we went to the shop round the corner. Went back after 10 mins our order still not ready and had to wait a further 20 mins for 2 sandwiches and a jacket potato. The food is good but the service is slow for take out as it seems they are quicker with people eating in.

Fordes is by far the best coffee shop in Nottingham. Great coffee, lovely food, wonderful friendly staff, impeccable service. It’s great to find an Independent coffee shop with the personal touch. Cannot recommend more highly.

I absolutely love this small friendly cafe. The staff are as I say friendly but also efficient. The food is first class - made to order and nothing is too much trouble. Although they have a menu of various rolls and a variety of breads they are flexible and are very customer focussed and will always try to oblige. The jacket potatoes are the best with loads of choice on fillings . Also nice cakes and pastries (a little bit different to the norm ) Thank you Perry and staff Carol

Popped in for a coffee before watchingsome cricket at Trent Bridge. Really cosy cafe in a great location. The coffee was excellent as was the cake. Even said hello to Ssmit Patel who wandered in for a brew. Highly recommended

I went for lunch with my Son and my Mum. Made such a pleasant change to have a choice of vegetarian gluten free options from the main menu and also cakes. They even do lactose free milk. Staff lovely and friendly too. Perfect! Would certainly recommend and will be visiting again soon.

Forde's Coffee and Sandwich Bar is hands down the best coffee spot in West Bridgford, and I am beyond impressed! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by Peri, the owner, whose warmth and friendliness made me feel instantly welcomed. The customer service here is truly extraordinary. Peri goes above and beyond to ensure each visitor feels valued and leaves with a smile. But let's talk about the coffee—it is simply outstanding. The rich aroma and perfectly crafted flavors make every sip a delightful experience. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or simply enjoy a good cup of joe, Forde's is a must-visit. This place truly embodies the perfect combination of exceptional coffee and a warm, friendly atmosphere. Kudos to Peri and the team for creating such a fantastic establishment. I can't recommend Forde's Coffee and Sandwich Bar enough!

I visit this cafe every month or so when I come to Bridgford for a haircut. The staff are always friendly and helpful as there are always fantastic tasty homemade cakes to try. They do 200 degree coffee which is always great and I will keep coming here even when they open a local 200 degree shop in the town.

My daughter and myself thought we would try this place for a bit of lunch. what a waste of time and money. Staff were incredibly slow, too much talking amongst each other. Dirty pots were left on our table from previous people, no one cleared them away for us. eventually the owner took them after about 10 minutes, but left the table dirty. when a member of staff came to bring our food I had to ask her to wipe our table as it was filthy. I shouldn't have to ask this they should know to do it as part of their job role. I ordered a Stilton, Grape and Mango cob. The bottom of the cob was rock hard so I called a member of staff and told her and she apologised and bought me another one. The bread was better but inside there was hardly any stilton just little crumbly bits, all I could taste was mango and grape, so i had to complain about this too. the main ingredient would of been the cheese. My daughters baguette had no butter and tasted very dry. We will not be coming back here.

Wonderful service, friendly staff and the fact they serve 200d coffee is an added bonus. And while you are there, have one of their Pastels de Nata with your coffee.

Went for coffee and a cake. Arrived and stood at the counter to order for several minutes. I could see a member of staff busy making a lunch. There was a second member of staff chatting to another customer. I sat at a table waiting for the coffee and cake to arrive and all the time the staff member was chatting to the same customer. The items came in a reasonable time. The baked apple cake was very nice and coffee was OK. I prefer my coffee hot and it was coolish.

The staff are friendly and approachable staff. The coffee is from a local roaster 200Degrees - I don't know much about them or the process - but I can tell you the end result is GREAT coffee. Oh, and lovely moist cakes.

The food in restaurant was good , with very good service , the room we had was the superking suite, & the bed was comfy. The problem was the room was freezing , both the heated towel rail in bathroom & the radiator in bedroom was not working. No matter what way I turned the knobs either left or right nothing worked. The duvet on the bed is very thin so some heating would have been good And as for the auto light coming on in bathroom. Really not great when you need a wee in night & bright light comes on and wakes your other half. At this price point it needs to be far better & more upmarket for such high cost per night

Have been visiting this lovely coffee shop regularly since at least 2021. It was suggested as a halfway house between two households, north and south. I must give credit to its ambience, service, food, and staff. All of which are 100%. Another successful visit. Love the soup and sandwich offer during winter. If you are in the vicinity of Keyworth, drop in and enjoy. Robert
