Coffee is amazing and the food was delicious. Staff are really friendly and make you feel very welcome. I can't wait to visit again.

Staff were super friendly & seemingly my 1 year old daughter kept everyone amused 😂 such a chilled place and the people that served me and my friend were so so nice. I definitely plan to go here more!

Butler's Radcliffe recommended try their sister coffee shop in Bingham. The original Butler's named after the family butcher whose premises they now occupy. Head barista Luke, an asset to any coffee shop. A well crafted cappuccino, served in correct size cup for a cappuccino. Why do so many coffee shops not use the correct size cup? Avocado on toast. Please no chilli flakes. A sausage on the side. OMG, the flapjack. I took away to eat later. I recommended, for guest coffee try Coffee Gems. Another suggestion. Contact Standart. When I talked with the cofounder last year, I was asked, what did I think of their idea, supply a coffee shop with copies of Standart (they used to have in Kigali aka Outpost), a code will give a cut to the coffee shop, if a customer takes out a subscription. I thought a great idea. I don't know if it was implemented. A little wander around Bingham, a small market town, roughly midway between Nottingham and Newark. An excellent greengrocer cum zero waste shop in the market square. A market every Thursday, farmers market on the third Saturday of the month. The market has a butter cross, but looked modern, not medieval.

We come here often and always find it to be a well-managed little café. The food is amazing and staff always super friendly. The pancake special week is a nice touch and we enjoyed having something different on the menu. My partner tried to be a bit adventurous and ordered coffee we normally wouldn’t go for and didn’t enjoy the taste. He enquired this with the staff and got offered a different drink free of charge which is more we could hope for. The atmosphere and the whole décor make it so inviting. We love Butler’s Coffee House and will continue coming back.

I've been to Butlers many times - usually for breakfast (which is excellent, especially the pancakes), this time we had a very nice lunch. It's very small so getting a table can be hard on busy days, but it's definitely worth it! I had a cheese toastie (delicious), and my mother and sister both had soup - apparently also delicious. Definitely recommended.

Been to butlers on many occasions. Great food, friendly, lovely atmosphere. Today waited nearly an hour for food. Clearly forgot us. No apologies.Then two meals arrived and waited 5 mins for third. Staff had face like a smacked arse. No smiles or warmness. Long chap in back lacks any inter personal skills, or manners. Don't know if it's a sponsored no smile day but very disappointed. We are not complainers or fuss pots but poor day at the office. WONT BE BACK !!!!

I do understand that this is a restored building, but the furniture could do with updating, The bacon roll was hot, generous and full of flavour, the Earl Grey tea was a bit weak, not sure if it's the brand but the pot was the right size for a single cup. Overall good, but seating needs an upgrade or refresh

Excellent. Had a superb all day breakfast. Occasion slightly spoilt by some customer with barking dogs making baby cry. People shouldn't bring noisy dogs into small places like this i m h o.

Flat white cups have changed shape but not volume, and contents is still the best in Bingham!

The food was so good a little pricy but made the extra penny worth it ,the decorations made it so cosy and gives a home like feeling ,coming here again !

Food was nice enough but service a lot to be desired. Wasn't made to feel welcome at all so will not be returning.

Take away coffee is delicious!! Have been twice on our brief trip to Bingham. On the 2nd visit, I asked for 1x flat white to be extra hot as I had to walk home and was told they could only take it so far without burning and ruining the coffee!! If only every coffee shop had these skills and expertise! Looking forward to another coffee before we leave this week!

We received a very warm welcome on a chilly spring lunchtime, very friendly staff nothing was too much trouble when sorting out our dietary requirements. Excellent menu choices, I can highly recommended the homemade vegetable soup and bacon and brie sandwich and all at a great price, lovely relaxing atmosphere, we’ll certainly be visiting again before we return home to Australia

Great service and good value for money - for me, I didn’t really like the way breakfast was served in a bowl with the eggs baked. The sausages were clearly good quality and low fat but they tended to be quite dry as a result. That doesn’t mean it was naff, just not my kinda thing sorry

Very friendly service, nice choice of drinks, food and cakes. Low hanging lights in the back room - be careful you don't bang your head.

I popped into Butlers for the first time ever with my two young children. We don’t live in Bingham but visit for appointments sometimes. I was getting a takeaway coffee and some pastries. Usually when you walk in somewhere with a quiet, lovely atmosphere with children in tow you immediately get dirty looks or those “oh no” looks. The lady that served us said to me “you are more than welcome to stay in” I thought this was so lovely. I had a decaf oat latte it was lovely, as were the pastries. I always prefer to support independent/small businesses rather than chains and we will visit again.

We had a full breakfast at Butlers Coffee House in Radcliffe on Trent today. I have to say it was dreadful, very soggy, eggs under cooked and stuck to the plates and the sausages were too herby in their taste. Very claustrophobic atmosphere inside too. The one in Bingham is much nicer.

Could maybe do with a bit more gluten-free on the menu, but a great place.

Great little coffee shop visited whilst on a business trip to Bingham. Had the Butlers breakfast, which was all locally sourced, first time I've ever had "baked" eggs, and I must say they were fantastic, not the cheapest breakfast, but, you need to pay for quality, which this definitely was!! Highly recommend!!

We had the pleasure of visiting this delightful little coffee house for Sunday brunch. Staff were happy and smiley and on hand to advise on the menu. We had the full English (veggie option), and American pancakes. All was tasty and breakfast served with lovely sour dough toast 😋 Coffee made with knowledge and also delicious. The cakes looked amazing but didn't sample these (always next time) Thorough cleaning going on during our visit, which is always reassuring. The place is very dog friendly, with treats, toys and water on offer for your furry friend. We will definitely be returning. 👍

A lovely coffee shop in an old listed building off Bingham Market Place - well worth a visit. Great coffee and surroundings with an inviting menu. Would definitely recommend and will return when next in the area.

Don’t let this tiny coffee shop deceive you, what it lacks in space it makes up for in quality and value. I wasn’t bothered about stopping for a drink but was persuaded by my OH. Boy was I glad I did, home made cakes galore, tasty treats a plenty, amazing decor, happy smiling staff, and great tasting coffee.

One of the nicest coffees we’ve had …. No bitter aftertaste like some have . Bacon cooked to perfection ( some places get scared when we ask for it to be very well done🤷‍♀️) and partners sausage sandwich was thoroughly enjoyed too ! Love the character of inside the building with old meets new everywhere you look , very aesthetically pleasing to sit and relax . The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful with nothing to much trouble 👍👏 We took some bakewell slices home with us as well and just as we thought they were soooo nice ! Look forward to returning to this tucked away gem ☕️🍰🥓😃

I've called in a few times and it's been consistent. Great coffee and really good food. It's spotlessly clean and really nice inside. For those who are anxious - they've put all the C-19 measures in they can - so it's safe. There are tables outside too. Traffic is light so it's pleasant to sit there for a while. The croissants are excellent - as good as France and the cakes are fresh and great quality, The staff and warm & friendly. For a good coffee break in a relaxing setting - this is the place.

Met a client here and the back snug room was a great quiet space for us to chat. It may be different on a day when the rain wasn't torrential though! Barista served me a perfect flat white. I only had a couple of cakes but more lunch type food looked good as it passed us from the kitchen. Quite a pleasant chilled place to meet and work. Which I have done a couple of times since. Along with a cycle cafe not far away certainly one of the better flat whites I've had recently

Went for Sunday brunch, table was dirty and had food bits all over, sat for a while, nobody came to us to take order, so went to counter to order. Ordered and prices charged were different to what the menu stated, when I mentioned this, the reply was “I didn’t do the menu’s and the price is what is on the till” I accepted this. We were informed they would be a short wait as a table of 6 had just ordered which we said was fine. Sat for 5-10 minutes with no drinks, Tea cups came with milk pot in one of the tea pots and was told “we only have one tea pot”, at this point I asked for money back and said we would go elsewhere, refund was given in cash even though I paid by card. There was absolutely no attempt to make anything right and I left with the impression that the “table of 6” were much more important to accommodate. It was clear that with a table of 6 they were struggling to manage. I have been here numerous times before but unfortunately will never return because of this very bad experience and will take my custom elsewhere. The place felt very damp, windows dripping with condensation and just felt dirty this time round.

Warm welcome, delicious cappuccino, lattes and hot chocolate and a freshly baked fruit scone. Interior of cafe has retained all the features of the old butcher shop. Can heartily recommend and a really nice start to 2020!

We visited here after checking TripAdvisor and what a gem, coffee great and the Sunday breakie cob (Roll) was a great surprise, cooked prefect with great sausage, bacon and egg. This place is a fantastic location and well worth the visit.

Had a great lunch and tea in here the other week. First time visiting this place but I will definitely be back. Very dog friendly. Seasonal menu as well as specials available. Great friendly staff serving and taking orders. My dog loved the biscuits available for her from the dog jar! Lovely experience

I have visited this coffee house 5 times now. Each time the service has been great, the coffee excellent & the cakes are amazing. Whether it’s the caramel sponge, the brownies or rockie road, they’ve all hit the spot. I’ve not experienced delays or poor service even when it’s full.And the sausage and onion relish sandwiches are a great start to any weekend

Well, what a disappointing experience! My wife and I popped in to try this cafe whilst visiting Bingham. First impressions were good as the premises look comfortable and welcoming. There was a young man behind the counter who greeted me and asked for my order. I ordered two ham and cheese sandwiches and two diet cokes. He produced two tiny labelled bottled of a specialist cola, but said he didn't have low/non sugar drinks. I decided to have two alternative flavoured drinks which the young man offered to bring to the table total cost £17+!!

So much nicer than the 'chain coffee shop ' around the corner.
