Ignore the previous review. It clearly states on their website that they are closed on a Sunday and so what, maybe people actually like to have a weekend day off to themselves? Go visit them on a day they actually state that they are open before giving them a poor review?! I popped in today. First time I have been. Had the best quiche I have ever tasted. My Mum had a lovely sausage roll. Generous portion sizes. Coffee and tea were good. Lovely service. We'll be back for sure. Afternoon Tea came out whilst we were there and looked bloody delish!

Can’t believe they are never open on a Sunday or bank holiday in a caravan park it’s a wonder Keats farm let them get away with it .

Fantastic! The staff were lovely and the food was amazing. I’m a big lad, and I always finish my meals (and then everyone else’s usually), but the portions are so good I had to pocket 2 of the chips for later. My companion had a Yorkshire wrap which was phenomenal, but she also had to pack this up to go. We had some brownies to go, and next time I visit, I’m going straight for the cakes because they looked incredible!

A lovely cafe set in a pretty caravan park. The food is all homemade, and really good. A great place for lunch or afternoon tea.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS PLEASE SEE BELOW Please can you show me the ‘post’ that you informed me about detailing the closure of your business today at 2pm even though you took a £10 deposit for afternoon tea at 1pm. Surely 2 afternoon teas at a cost of £21.99 each would be allowed more than an hour to eat? And yes, I realise my friend and I were 15 minutes late due to roadworks and traffic lights on route from Broadstairs to Birchington, for which I apologised as soon as we arrived only for you to shout aggressively at me that we had lost you custom as our table was reserved. You had a deposit, there were at least 4 empty tables so I cannot understand how you came to that conclusion. There was zero evidence of any afternoon tea preparation, therefore, I believe you had no intention of serving my friend and I an afternoon tea. You had already decided to shut at 2pm, and as for shouting at me that it was on Facebook, not everyone is glued to Facebook waiting for a post to say their pricy afternoon tea will only last an hour as the venue have decided to close early. When I looked I could not find any post. Perhaps, take a telephone number from the customer to enable you to contact them to say you fancy closing early to spoil their friend’s birthday treat. When I booked I asked you the latest time we could book, you informed me 2pm. I booked for 1pm so why would I expect to turn up and only have an hour allocated to eat the vast amount of goodies you assured me we would not be able to eat. Originally we were going to Felicity’s at Quex but decided to give your business a try, what a costly mistake, £10 lost and humiliated in front of your customers. Luckily Felicity’s were extremely understanding and managed to fit us in. Excellent customer service, perhaps visit at some point to see how you should treat your patrons. I was going to chase up a refund for the deposit but feel under the circumstances you should put it towards anger management therapy.

Felicity’s Cafe at Quex in Birchington is an absolute gem. Picture this—you roll up to this quaint little spot, and from the second you walk in, it’s got that vibe. Friendly, warm, like you’re part of the family. We’re talking fresh, local ingredients that just hit differently. The coffee? Smooth. The cakes? Sweet but not too sweet. Service? Spot on. The folks here treat you right, not in some fake, scripted way. You can tell they care, like they want every dish to be a hit, and let me tell you—it is. You want cozy, comfort, and quality all wrapped up in one? Felicity’s Cafe nails it.
