The ambience of this restuarant has diminished slightly as I think it has been re-decorated since our last stay in 2016 and now looks a bit more cafeteria like. That was the only negative we experienced though as the food for the evening meal (pie and chips) and breakfast (full English) was of a high standard and very tasty. Only minor quibble with the breakfast was that streaky bacon not back bacon was served but that is just my personal taste.

Started out well with a nice friendly waiter. Then came the food ... Ordered an entree but the main came 1st. Took main away and entree appeared. Falafel was ok but very small. A Margherita pizza without tomato and basil is just a cheese pizza. Very ordinary. Felt a bit cheated really. On the service side had to ask 3 times for water. Lacked coordination. They also do a buffet but the selection isn't great and you'd need to be fairly hungry to get £16 worth.

We have used this hotel for several overnight stays when flying on the following day. On Sunday the 28th April we arrived to check in and collect our room key to be met by a long slow moving queue with just two persons servicing the queue.Eventually we arrived at the desk after twenty minutes or so to be told that this queue is for a group check in and we need not to have queued as we were already checked in. no one was there to tell us this so very poor customer service as a first impression. Particularly annoying as on our last visit we were checked in very slickly by a couple of staff members using I pads in a couple of moments. The Dinner meal and the service was excellent, especially as the Restaurant was frantically busy.A disappointment however though was the breakfast;why not charge a little more and put on proper lean back Bacon?, The Bacon is a very poor quality streaky, served in a tangled mess, also the only egg option appears to be scrambled, the option of fried eggs would be so much better. It is a shame that breakfast is spoiled by these two.things as the rest of the Breakfast is comprehensive and very good value for money..

I stayed at the Ibis before an early flight and dined at their in house restaurant. I took the pizza offer of a build your pizza and enjoy with a peroni beer for £12.95. It was great value and the pizza was good! The menu overall had lots of options, everyone around me was clearing their plates, which tells you something! The venue is very nicely done and no one is dining on top of one another. There is the bar as-well which is open until 1am. I’d thoroughly recommend dining here during your stay and if you want to dine in your room, they will happily make your meals a take away! What more could you ask for!

As far as airport hotel eateries go, its not too bad. Clean and bright, the decor leans a little too closely to the fast food genre of restaurant. The dinner menu is simple, and offers a limited selection of British fare; The one common denominator, I suspect, being that all the items can be prepared (or heated up!) by the lobby staff, with a minimum amount of culinary training. Menu prices are a bit high for the venue. At breakfast time, there is a full buffet available, featuring the usual British breakfast food groups, along with a selection of fruit, yogurt, pastries, cold cuts, cheese, cereal, juice and coffee. Its much better than you would get at a holiday inn, and costs about 10.5 pounds.

Called by at the Ibis Heathrow the other night to say au-revoir to my brother-in-law and his friend who were returning to Oz the next day. Suggested we have a few drinks and a light meal. Ceasar Salad on the menu - but only under starters. So we asked if we could have it as a main. Certainly Sir - 3 Ceasar Salads - not a problem. So far - so good. A few minutes later ... and it was literally just a few minutes after placing the order ... the waitress returned with three plates of lettuce with a few flakes of parmesan cheese and a drizzle of dressing. That was it ! £9.95 for a plate of lettuce and a few shavings of cheese. I called the waitress back and pointed out that in the Starters menu there was an option of chicken with the salad - and that I would have expected this to be served by default with a main dish. So we had to ask for the chicken as an extra and were duly served three pieces of chicken breast which we then had to slice and dice ourselves to add to the salads. And they had the nerve to then charge another £ 4.50 for 'reconciliation food'. Now I guess that there are a few interpretations of what constitutes a Ceasar Salad - but this was the poorest offering I've ever had the misfortune to experience and I felt rather short-changed ... as no doubt did the waitress when we left without leaving a tip. Which I guess is a tad unfair seeing as the service was actually rather good - apart from not asking a bit more about what we might have expected with this meal. Anchovies and croutons would have been nice ... but no doubt at further charge.

I recently visited Foggs prior to flying on holiday and found it was almost as good as on previous visits but there seemed to be less variety at breakfast, pastries were not very fresh and seemed to be bought in and an egg station would be an excellent addition, however it still offers a very good selection and with breakfast available from 4.00 am until 12.00 noon is very convenient for travellers. The dinner menu is quite varied and food is of quite good quality although while the fish and chops I ordered were very good, I thought it was a bit pretentious to serve the food in a fryer basket on a very large chopping board, I see nothing wrong with serving food on a nice china plate. However compared to some hotels in the vicinity of Heathrow, I would still highly recommend this one.

Cecelia, the bar manager, Katalina, the bar supervisor, and the bar staff, Linas, Katarina and Ramona and others, were so friendly, polite and always smiling even with a large convention in town for the tattoo expo. upon arrival the restaurant was not busy, 5 maybe 6 tables in at the most. I received no welcome and when i did finally catch someones eye they came over and did not even crack a smile, I have worked in the hospitality industry for more than 5 years and i know not everyone has good days, but it is a vital part of service. When I asked how much chips would be the waiter simply opened the menu and tried to search for it, he did not have the best English skills.I ordered the Mac and Cheese with side salad and french fries, it was undercooked and the cheese was still cold on top. Over all it was not pleasant and I could not eat more then 3 Mouthfuls.when I finally got someones attention to pay (after standing at the desk for around 3-5 mins) the same waiter did not ask me how my meal was, when he was looking at the receipt I told him that my meal was simply not nice and he shrugged and just tapped my card on the card machine for an instant payment, without asking me could he use contactless. I am shocked by the disgusting level of both service and attention to detail.I certainly will not be back and it was not worth the £15 I paid for it.

Frozen cheese pizza with fresh veg on it, frozen chips, canned side of peas of a portion suitable for a child. Have had better in pubs. Had to eat fish and chips out of ridiculous frier thing (pictured). Pizza crust was so tough my partner shook the table to cut it. I would tell the restaurant to try harder, but it's a hotel restaurant, so guests are basically trapped into eating here. Case in point, I really didn't have any options for lunch other than going to the airport too early, so here I am laughing at my microwaved beef curry that looks like greasy diarrhea (pictured). It burnt my tongue. But since everything is bought in it tastes fine. You're paying for convenience here is all. I kinda think it would be hilarious to watch Gordon Ramsay critique this place lol. I've eaten worse places though so because service was good today I'll raise it to 2 stars.

I had two rather late evening meals here. In both cases, the food was good, the portions were adequate, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The price was also appropriate. This is not "fine dining," but provided an appetising and pleasant end to the day.

The restaurant is situated in the ibis Heathrow airport hotel. Food is a little pricy. Has a good selection of options but not a big range. However, the food tasted great and came quickly. Staff were really friendly. Love the option that you can take a tray to your room. Would recommend for a quick bite but for a big meal I would look for somewhere cheaper but that's just my personal opinion.

This was for the The 3 course dinner menu voucher i received from german wings due to flight cancellation. It was a mix n match buffet and was nothing short of prison food. I woudnt feed it to my dog. Frozen old fish, Grimey meatballs and some vegatable slop. Worst i have had in london ever. Felt proper mugged off. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

the half board option is great 2 courses with anything off the menu included except the sirloin steak which has a £8 surcharge, and a drink with breakfast in the morning.

I was pleasantly surprised with both the quality of the food as well as price. Though the items in the menu were limited, but most of the food items that I had were good.

I found it quite wierd for an airport resturant to have a spanish night when most guests stay for just a night. So the menu was limitied and only certain choices from the main (advertised) menu where given. We had to wait 30 minutes for the food. To make matters worse, being a vegetarian, my margharita pizza was now a spicy, pepperoni pizza. The waiter was confused as to why I wanted it changed and said that it would take another 30 minutes for another pizza. So I ended up picking off the meat and sauce and getting no apology or discount. We then waited 30 minutes for the bill after out food was taken. I have been here before and enjoyed the food very much, but for some reason we were there on the worst night.

No point having a Sunday Roast menu when everything but the lamb has run out. Love the pub but come on now sort out your food.

We had a really good meal at S and E at the De Burgh. The helpful staff talked us through the North Indian specialities and all the food was delicious.

I'm a delivery driver I need to grab something to eat on the go at my break time and came across this chippy as its friday . Thought why not let me get some fish and chips There was a nice young guy who I asked about the sausage batter If it was pork or beef , he said that it was chicken and beef So I left that and went Order Cod and chips the lady eho i dealt with said come back in 15 minutes We cook it from fresh. That's not a problem for me. I did think the woman's attitude was a bit funny at the time the manner which she talks to you as a customer but Brush it off as I thought she was just rushing and a bit hype Cause there was 3 people in there before me So came back in 15 mins I asked if I could use the toilet just to wash my hands Before eating as it is a restaurant with tables the lady said it was out of order and I needed to go to paddy power next door which to be fair isn't very clean Before I left to wash my hands I asked, could I eat at the table that when the I realised it wasn't an attitude because she was rushing in. She's just rude and doesn't have any customer service etiquette the lady said but it's in paper. I didn't think this was a big thing Because you can just take it out of the paper and put it on a plate. So I came back From. Washing my hands next door and she handed My fish and chips in the paper still With a knife on fork and said I can sit there and she wouldn't charge me. The thing is. I understand how the restaurants work. There's a sitting in charge but at no point. Did she offer me this . all she did was give me attitude from the time I came back asking about the toilet and seating down to eat which same to be a big problem. So on this I took my food and I just left. Her customer service needs a big overhaul And if she's the manager, I don't know what's going on. The cod was lovely No skin batter, lovely chips under the cooks. Soggy inside quite white After this experience I started to read through the Reviews, and it seems to be a recurring problem. I won't be back, to be honest It wasn't very welcome and it wasn't a nice experience one of the Reviews I read said this is the best Chippy all around all the way to pinner. I don't know what chippies that guy was going to. But you needs to get out more there's better Chippies In Ruislip and pinner then this . This is a average Chippy that really does need some good customer service Upgrade and maybe a little bit of a face. Lift to the property As it is quite dated
