Lovely little tea room where we had the new Christmas 🎄 festive high tea. Mulled wine served by George who was so polite and helpful. Nothing was too much bother. Luke the chef, amazing food

Such a great spot in the middle of Danson Park. Usually very busy but went with my husband and 1 year old son and a member of their staff (George) was so accommodating and lovely. He pointed out the babyccino option that comes with adult hot drinks and made us feel right at home. Great kids menu options but also I imagine a nice spot if you're emjoying some grown up company! Recommend!

We visited Fleur de The at Danson House, Bexleyheath today (05/11/23) and had a lovely table near the window which we booked. Our waiter was very helpful and tentative and we hade the best time. We visited with family which was a long overdue catchup. We will be going back as the food was amazing. Thank you.

Had a lovely afternoon tea today for my sisters birthday. George looked after us and made the afternoon perfect! Nothing was too much trouble. Sandwich, scones and cakes were delicious and fresh. My daughter also had the children's afternoon tea which was great with a huge hot chocolate! We've been before and will definitely be returning.......thanks again George!

We visited this lovely, friendly tea room for afternoon tea to celebrate a family birthday. The afternoon tea is excellent. A great selection of finger sandwiches, scones, mini sweet treats and lots of tea and coffee choices. . George, our waiter, was brilliant, so helpful and couldn't do enough for us. A great place to go, even if it's just for cake and coffee after a walk in Danson Park. Would thoroughly recommend.

This place should be good but from our experiance today will not be going back. Stopped fo a cold drink on our bike ride through the park, you have to order at a window which was shut, the lady in front of me knocked on the window and a member of staff lifted the window up so that the was a tiny gap at the bottom, why. Placed my order and had to hold my card up to the window pane whilst the member of staff held the card machine up the other side. I was now getting worried as I assumed that some horrendous contagious disease was lurking the other side of the window. Collected our drinks from another window which was wide open,perhaps this area was contagion free , both drinks were not what I ordered but was told very abruptly "that's all we have". Very unwellcoming, even the sign on the window seemed like an order as all ot said was ORDER. not please order here.

What a really quaint little cafe, friendly staff, immaculately spotless and amazing coffee in an amazing setting it is at the rear of Danson House well worth a visit

Myself and my daughter-in-law to be had afternoon tea here yesterday and it was lovely. The sandwiches, scones with cream and jam and the petit fours were all of the highest quality, as was the selection of teas. Our server, Caroline, was especially pleasant and helpful, and all if the staff are to be commended for their friendliness. It really was a joy.

To celebrate my friends birthday, four of us decided to reserve a table for Afternoon Tea. Fleur de The was quintessentially British: cosy, quaint, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated in neutral colours. The bunting added to the character, with cakes in crystal cases and stands of assorted tea cups too. As for the customer service; it was faultless. We were assigned our own waitress, who attended to all our needs, and relentlessly offered refills of tea. With regards to the afternoon tea, it was presented on a three tier rotating serving stand, and was in abundance: two of each selection. The assorted sandwiches included: Salmon and cream cheese, chicken salad, ham and mustard, and egg and cress. We each had one plain and one fruit scone each, served with charming mini jars of jam and pots of clotted cream. And the top tier, consisted of soft and fluffy carrot cake squares, biscoff and marshmallow rocky road, and triangular raspberry and white chocolate shortcake. Though the sweet treats contributed to an enjoyable experience, the pinnacle was when the waitresses sang happy birthday in unison, which was further echoed by the customers, and met with a complimentary slice of lemon drizzle cake, served on a plate piped with happy birthday. Although, this was rather expensive, costing £25.50 per person. Or £102 overall, for what consisted of one serving stand of treats.

Had a lovely mothers day afternoon tea, first time visit for both myself and my mum and were very impressed with the food and service, George, Abbi and Holly looked after us and made sure we were happy with our drinks and food, our compliments to the kitchen staff for the wonderful sandwiches and cakes all very nice will be coming again and recommending you to friends and family.

Made to feel very welcome by the ever helpful George. We came with a wheelchair and he found us a table with plenty of space to manoeuvre. We had very attentive service - I'd notified them about a food allergy and that was catered for. Fresh drinks were brought regularly and the standard of all the food was very good. The door in is my only grumble - or rather people who walk in and left it open as a chilly wind does blow in.

Lovely environment and well decorated. There was 4 of us. We booked the bubbly afternoon tea. Took ages to get a jug of water and also waited a long while for our coffees. I was under the impression that the room would be just for those who booked afternoon tea but it was also open for the general public to just walk in and grab takeaway drinks and also sit in their walking gear and have a drink. All other establishments I have been to have only been for those that have booked afternoon tea. For this reason it felt more like a cafe! The young girls serving were very slow. Once the guy turned up service was alot quicker and he was very friendly. There are notes on doors to say please shut the door but people obviously ignored them as it was quite cold. On our way out we shut the door. Sandwiches were OK but in places the bread was dry, same as scone. The other 3 little cakes we got were just ok, nothing special. By the end of our tea we were asked if we wanted to drink our prosseco or take it home. We opted to take home. If I knew we wasn't going to drink it there I wouldn't have booked the bubbly one. Was an OK afternoon but I will not be returning for afternoon tea when I've had others that were nicer and half the price!!

Very nice place on a non windy day, however every time the door open the wind blew in a dit was freezing they should of shut the door and sent the customers in through the side door, I came out there absolutely froze to the bone, the poor girl nearest to the door her hair was blowing all over the place. I would only go back on a nicer day.

Danson House afternoon tea today was a good choice for two like-minded women to catch up and enjoy tasty dainty sandwiches and freshly made scones. As much tea or coffee of your choice served by the ever-helpful George. A tad too much talking resulted in us forgetting our cakes. No problem! George left a message on my answerphone to remind us to collect the cakes if we were nearby tomorrow. Well done George!

Very beautiful interior, welcoming and cosy. Pleasant waitresses.... Waiting time for coffee is a bit much- had to sit for 5 minutes after making a order for one cappuccino... which is not bad as environment is pleasant...Cappuccino??? Well it was definitely not a cappuccino but rather very diluted latte, could hardly taste any coffee in it! As I am not a tea and a cake person- wouldn’t be returning!I love well made coffee- and this establishment, sadly, knows very little about coffee.

With family, friends or just on my own I go to this beautiful cosy vintage café/restaurant every single week in the summer. I love the vintage feel in this café, the interior design is beautiful and as a person who is avid fan of vintage teacups and saucers - it's heaven!Whether you go there to have a full breakfast or just a cup of tea to unwind, the atmosphere is always delightful...and not to mention the view outside!Highly recommended.

One of the best friday nights ive had in a long time! My friend & i went to this quaint & intimate venue on a Friday evening & had a bottomless Prosecco “afternoon” tea, complete with a live acoustic singer, who songs various hit songs from various decades. I would give everyone & everything at this event a 10/10, the singer was good, the selection of bottomless drinks was more varied than most places, the food was good and most importantly my waitress for the night “Jade” was amazing! She never let me see an empty glass (which is what you want in a bottomless Prosecco evening) I would deffo recommend booking yourself in for an evening, & my friend & i have already mentioned about going back there again in the future!

We’d booked afternoon tea here for a recent Sunday, well in advance, to celebrate an important family occasion. Most of the party of eight had travelled some distance. The venue is set in a lovely park - it looked just the job when we found it online.Sadly, despite promising guests a warm welcome on its website, no one actually greeted us to Fleur de The. We were all dressed up so it was obvious this was a special occasion (we had already said this when we booked) but we were left alone to sit down at the only reserved table.Once we beckoned a server, but after waiting several minutes, they did bring drinks and keep those topped up regularly during our visit. However, no one acknowledged we were there for a special reason nor did they run through the prebooked menu and explain how it would be served. We had to keep asking when the next course would arrive whilst staff members chatted around the till.The scones were not freshly made that day and were not properly warmed through. Most of us found them impossible to eat because they were very dry, almost powdery. I had anticipated the round of cakes that followed to be served in dainty slices on cake stands. Instead we were told we could select ‘from what was left..’ including a single slice remaining of one option. (Four cakes to choose from in all.) Three of these turned out to be stale too, and the portion slices varied considerably.It was difficult to complain at the time without spoiling the day for our guest of honour. So we paid up and left feeling disappointed and awkward; it simply was not worth £20 a head for mainly Sunday leftovers. The point being I’d have paid any price if it had been an amazing experience.I contacted Fleur de The about this afterwards and got a very lukewarm reply and no sense they cared our celebration had been compromised by their lack of care. There are many better options locally. Avoid avoid avoid!

We arrived for the Friday fizz evening and sat down. We were given our Prosecco about 10 mins after we sat down, it wasn’t the nicest Prosecco I’ve ever tasted and unfortunately they couldn’t keep on top of filling the glasses in the beginning so was sat without anything to drink a few times. The food arrived about half an hour after we sat down. The food was very nice, 3 slider burgers and homemade cakes & treats. The singer was fantastic and suited the venue singing old school songs and dressed 40s style. I thought it was quite pricey considering you can get unlimited Prosecco deals in London for cheaper than £40 per person which essentially is an afternoon tea without the tea. The ambiance was somewhat lacking but having said that we did have a good time and think it’s a nice idea.

Awful cafe despite several vacant tables inside we were told they were all 'booked' and had to sit outside. When it started to rain we tried to cancel the order as it was too wet to eat a croquet monsieur in the rain and the manager insisted we had to pay for food we hadn't received as it was being prepared. Then suddenly we were allowed into the cafe, but were given the same food - now cold and congealed to eat! My order was forgotten despite only being a scone and by the end of the meal they overcharged us for items and we had to complain. Never going again - rude and haughty staff and very poor quality food at high prices.

We had the most amazing wedding reception. The food was amazing, the staff could not of done more for us or our guests. It's was just a low key buffet reception for 45 guests. The quaily was out standing, set in beautiful grounds. The wine was flowing. Best day ever. This place made our day

We booked for the New Fizz Friday Evening and it exceeded all expectations! The food was delicious, and plentiful! We arrived 15 minutes late, and presumed we had missed 15 minutes valuable prosecco time included in the price, but our bottomless drinks started as we arrived which was a very nice touch! The singer was fab and the room itself was very quaint and intimate. Huge special mention to Jade, Luke and Megan who were just fab and looked after us well! Thankyou for such a great evening.

After being given the task of arranging a friend’s baby shower, I was recommended Fleur de The by a friend who had a lovely experience in their Rochester tearoom and visits regularly. Having never visited myself, I have to say I was blown away by the team at Danson House. From the moment I enquired about booking the venue they were amazing, warm and above else accommodating. We hired the venue from 6.30pm- 9.30pm on a Sunday for a party of 19, some with differing allergies and preferences such as vegan and vegetarian- all of which were excellently catered for. A full range of homemade sandwiches and warm scones were plentiful and particularly well received (particularly the cheese and pickle) and well presented. The beautiful personalised cupcakes were a wonderful touch too, with many taking their’s home as they were too full from their scones. The venue was beautifully decorated by the team with bunting and gorgeous table balloon decorations, all themed as discussed when booking. The staff could not do enough for us, serving constant unlimited tea/coffee and taking endless photos for us!I would highly recommend for any function and will definitely be back in some capacity as I already have people asking when our next function there will be. Thank you for Fleur de The for taking the stress away from the organising! It was wonderful.

I popped in with a friend whilst enjoying a stroll around Danson Park. We only stopped for a cold drink but we're tempted by the delicious selection of cakes... the sticky toffee cake was incredible! The staff were so friendly and attentive - especially Luke, who kept us topped up with cold water whilst we relaxed in the sunshine! Beautiful venue, lovely selection of food and drink, fantastic staff... we'll definitely be back to sample the afternoon tea another time!

Joined in the Fizz Friday evening last night and we are so pleased we did. Everything was spot on - from the food cooked by the chefs, to the waiting service all evening (very attentive staff and always topping up your glasses!) to the singer who kept us entertained, and on such a lovely summer evening. Had a most enjoyable Luxury Afternoon Tea today in the bright, shabby chic setting of the cafe while enjoying the relaxing sounds of 30s to 50s music. Served by very attentive and friendly waitress Taylor, we were offered a fresh pot of tea, coffee or hot chocolate whenever we had drained a cup. The lemongrass and ginger tea was perfect with the warm scones. I took my cake away to eat later :-) Highly recommended. Do book beforehand to be sure of a table.

Had Pimm’s afternoon tea today and couldn’t fault it at all, it was my first time visiting Danson house but won’t be my last. We was waited on by the lovely George & Olivia who both went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable, they ensured we had everything we wanted. The food and drink was lovely and the service was an added bonus , this has definitely encouraged me to come back aswell as recommend it to friends & family. Thanks again to George & Olivia

Warm welcome when we arrived.Were given our bubbles straight away but waited quite a while for our cakes and sandwiches.We also had to ask for our hot drinks when they eventually arrived the tea was lukewarm and stewed so we sent for more.When we got the bill we had been charged for the tea and coffee eventhough it was included in the price.This was rectified but did spoil what should have been a pleasant afternoon.

Enjoyed a wonderful evening with friends at Fleur de Thé Danson House for the first of their Fizz Friday events. The sliders, cream scones and sweet treats were deliciously welcomed with a generous top up of unlimited bubbles and beer. The atmosphere was buzzing with the spectacular jazz singing from Miss Vintage and even a little dancing at the end of evening from some merry guests - always a sure sign of a great night!
