The app stated the food had been delivered which it had not. I called the restaurant whose mailbox was full. Waited and 10 minutes later the driver turns up with the food with no explanation as to why the food was marked as being delivered 15 minutes previously. The food was cold. Very disappointing. Will not order from here again.

Pizza base was burnt black ( didnt realise until took a bite) chips and sausage undercooked. Been going here for years but won't be after tonight. Real shame.

the order was delivered late and was stone cold. the batter had gone soft and the whole order went straight in to the rubbish bin. won't be using them again.

Food tepid. Bad old overdone chips and not enough of them in the kebab. Fish small and all batter.

Mixed kebab missing kofta, chicken tasted like rubber and just not very nice it went in the bin. Pizza was decent.

All dried up bits of chips. Don't think there was one decent one. Meat not too good either

Missing items once again. Ordered extra pitta bread, not received. Got a wrap? Should have been pitta included in kebab plus one extra.... Disappointed and not for the first time

Chips covered in unwanted batter bits which got through to the seagulls. Cheese burger plain no salad , not even a real burger bun

Pizza Burned on the bottom, everything bland and tasteless, Burger was disgusting, chips were all ends. Genuinely Repulsive, the chef needs sacking as they obviously can't cook. One of the worst takeaways iv ever had. Definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone

We order from here all the time but tonight the order was particularly bad. Items missing again and the chips had so much grease dripping off them they were unedible. Hoping it's better next time.

Order a bolognese pizza and bolognese soup on a pizza base turns up with a cheese coati g that looks like chef mike’s been at it(chef microwave) sliding in grease, stuck to the top of the pizza box. Dont get me started on the kids meals, cos bites more like soggy cod chunks … beans that have clearly been microwaved over and over again and quite frankly a waste of money. Will not be ordering again.

Ordered last night pizza nice and hot ordered again today as we enjoyed it, food was really cold and missed the sauce out, had I little, rest in bin. Shame

Burger was not as stated, no brioche bun, not a steak burger no pepperoni no relish but edible, the kebab however had a pitta so stale it crumbled, their was no kofta as stated, the chicken was tough as boots but one piece of chicken had a jelly like texture,the kebab meat was really old and grey looking and not nice at all and the chips were greasy and limp, so by far the worst kebab i have experienced. Will most definitely not be ordering again. Forced to give this one star.

Chips had a very oily taste they need to change their cooking oil as it leaves a taste to the food , other than that everything else was ok arrived hot and on time , but would order anything fried again.

Worst pizza me and my gf have ever had burger was fine kebab was horrible and they subbed multiple things like mixed kebab for plain kebab cheese burger for plain one and tango for cheap bottle without asking definitely won't be ordering from here again

Fish and chips were lovely and hot, a generous portion of chips and the fish was huge 5* from me.

Quick delivery, donner meat could have been better quality but the chicken and the chips was absolutely unreal. Best chip shop chips I’ve had in ages!

1st time I have ordered from here as its 2.4 miles away from my house, my 3 kids love the different pizzas I ordered, food was pipping hot considering the distance and I will be ordering from here from now on. I would totally recommend fletchers.

Food driver did not show up. I was sent an email to say the driver was lost. I called the resturaunt. Very very very rude woman told me the driver showed up (I was standing in the lobby they did not) and then asked for my number and wouldn't accept that my number existed??? No idea where my food is or if I'm getting refunded. Incredibly unhappy with this terrible terrible service

Absolutely disgusting ordered a kebab wrap that wasn’t even a wrap it was in a carton kebab and chips slumped on top of a tiny wrap bread with chilli on one side and garlic on the other not exactly sure why anyone would think that’s what you call a wrap, absolutely laughable, won’t order from here again didn’t even offer a replacement or anything.

Over a hour early and had big bones in.

My wife just ordered from fletchers chip shop and it was cold and the pizza wasn't cooked right and we only got one garlic when we ordered 2 and no free pizza well pissed off never ordered from them again 🤮🤮🤮🤮

Ordered from here tonight tried to ring the restaurant within 5minutes after it had been delivered (no answer) we were missing a sauce and the meat on the pizza wasn't cooked properly chips were at a push just warm so must of the food was left reason for the 2 stars on food quality is the sausages were edible

I read the reviews prior to ordering and I wish I had taken the advice. It’s true the food was extremely greasy which made it inedible. The batter was no longer crispy from the grease and the chips were soggy from the grease. Mushy peas were watered down and had no taste, and everything was cold. However the portion sizes are huge. Such a shame as the food was on time which was a good thing but just disappointing.

Was not expecting anything good as price was cheap. But i am glad to be proven wrong. Very nice!

The food was FULL of oil even the bag had oil on it. We couldn’t even eat half of the meal because of the amount of oil on it. Plus the chips were mixed with the fish who was wrapped in paper so everything was completely greasy and stuck.

Whilst the fish was nice it had more than a few bones in it, the onion rings with bolognese and cheese had leaked oil over everything and the cheese pattie was missing. Overall not as good as previous orders and far below what this place has always achieved, so will put it down to an off day, won't put me off ordering again though to be fair.

Love this shop they actually read your comment and all I ever order is my half chicken and chips which is always fantastic and always do what I ask when I ask for the chicken to be put with the chips, defo would recommend, its the only place I will go in Sunderland thanks guys🤗🤗

The positives - delivery was on time, and these are proper chip shop chips, with plenty of batter. The negatives - some of the chips were lovely, but most of them were just scraps, brown, and inedible. The gravy tasted like cheap instant gravy. The mushy peas were hard, cold and had a vinegary taste. All in all, really disappointed with the quality, and won't be ordering from here again I'm afraid.

First time we’ve ordered from here. Delivery was ten minutes later than they stated, but still in very good time! Came within an hour on a Friday night! The food was hot on arrival, and high quality. Chips were amazing! Fried food was beautiful too! Will be recommending to all my friends in Hendon as their high quality local chippy! :)

Order arrived 45mins late with no apology then there was a missed item from order. After phone call missed item was finally delivered another hour later!!!!

Food wasn't very nice, wrap wasn't even a wrap it was chips and a tortilla seperate, bairns meal was soggy and the pizza tastes off. Not happy with it tbh

It’s a shame to give an unfavourable review as the service from the staff when my order was delivered incomplete was really friendly. Only half my fish was delivered and my drink was also missing, when the rest arrived the fish was full of bones, disappointed to say I won’t be ordering from here again. Sorry.
