Arrived without booking and although very busy a table was quickly available. There was a good selection of dishes to choose from, plus specials on the blackboard, and the service was efficient. The food itself was pretty good with generous portions of everything. It seemed like very good value for money.

Went today with the family. Cafe very very loud. Lots of people queuing up to pay bills and all very frenetic and really loud- coid the waitresses not take payment like everywhere else? Scone was nice but not clotted cream. Everywhere seems just a little worn and in need of tlc. Kids play area really needs money spending on it and the driveway is complete ramshakle and scruffy.

Was staying in the local area and came across Fletchers. Went for breakfast in the two days that we were there and was not disappointed. My husband ordered the farmers and I ordered the herdsman breakfasts on both days as it was so good the first day, I didn’t want to order wrong! It’s a really dog friendly place, and was asked where we’d like to sit for example in a corner or any table so not to frighten my dog if not good around crowds. I thought was so thoughtful - our dog is absolutely fine anywhere. The staff are lovely, we were chatting about where to go out and about. Was provided with some really good info and when we went back the next day, we were asked where we had been and if we enjoyed ourselves - how thoughtful! I think we will be visiting the area again and would definitely go again. It is a really good you must try it. The pictures just don’t do it justice….

Came for Sunday lunch with family. We were welcomed by friendly staff and served very quickly. I had a regular Sunday lunch with pork. The pork was divine. The creamed leeks were lovely. The mash potato was a bit sloppy and the roast potatoes were hard. Yorkshire puddings weren't great, they were very dry. The meal size was generous. All in all I enjoyed the lunch but not sure I would return.

My husband and I have just been attacked by 2 huge turkeys roaming freely in front of the shop. They attacked us with talons and beaks and we couldn't get away - it was terrifying. This is not a safe place for small children or less abled adults or elderly who could have been killed by this ferocious attack. I finally managed to take refuge in the shop and the lady farmer was called - she and a girl had to use dustbin lids and a dog to herd them away. I was left very shaken and furious.

Lovely to see the animals. The breakfast was ok, similar to what you get in a garden centre. It lacks modern twists that you may expect from a farm shop eg no option of granola or home made bread. But it filled us up.

I call in here a lot and if it’s for a scone or a meal or anything in between it always tastes like the best - ever ❤️You don’t get a cup of tea you get a pot and hot water too so you can make your own tea exactly how you like it. I’ve seen posts with derogatory reports of bad coffee but I can honestly say that I’ve always had coffee as lovely as I ask them to make -I like it- Americano, one shot (I prefer weak), with hot milk ☕️Perfect thank you for listening. Always lovely service with a smile dogs welcome! They will get a drink and a treat. I sometimes book the camp site for D of E young people and can recommend it to anyone with tents or caravans/motor homes. This was a perfect location , just off the footpath as we walked up to the captain cook monument, for a quick coffee and cake. Unfortunately, our timing could have been better as the staff were extremely busy serving Sunday lunches and the last of the fruit scones had just been sold. Hadn’t heard of this before but it looked great on the website. The setting is very good but the cafe itself was a little underwhelming (not helped by the endless racket of the multitude of children). The menu(not on the website) was very ordinary but the most disappointing thing was that though there were a number of tables available almost every one of them had the remains of the previous diners meals still on them - maybe they were short staffed that day but it just wasn’t ‘welcoming’ , we left and went elsewhere.

Called in this morning and do regularly after a cold bike ride. Had a full English and cofffee for £9 odd. Sorry to say as I love this place and the staff, but it was not good enough. The coffee tasted almost instant today and the breakfast was of poor quality with a very strange sausage that looked like it had be boiled in water and a tough piece of bacon that was a vey strange colour. I hope this is a one off and not typical of example of a great place selling good ( but not cheap) food now lowering standards but not prices because they have done well. Please keep up the previous quality as would hate to stop coming.

Called for an 'all day' breakfast, Saturday, whilst out walking with my wife. Not our first visit in fact we call fairly often for a bite and a coffee even though we live only a mile away. The food was served hot after a short wait and I enjoyed the meal, which was modified to suit my gluten free diet. The place was quite busy but a pleasant relaxed atmosphere prevailed. We don't have a dog but they are welcome and cause no problems. The staff are all friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lovely views across the farmland to Captain Cooks Monument. It might sound trivial but my wife always remarks that the coffee is 'good and hot'!

Visited after a recommendation from a friend. The tearoom is large with quite a lot of tables with a good view. Decent menu to choose from, especially the breakfast although the beans tasted as though they were the cheapest catering pack. Service was quick. For people with children there is a small area to feed the animals. Also a farm shop and a pot painting area.

I visited here with my cycle group at the weekend. I had a Herdsman’s Breakfast, which is a smaller version of the main breakfast. Service was quick and friendly. The food was tasty.

Came to visit the animals with my little boy. He absolutely loved it! All the animals were friendly and came over for a pet which made his day.

We had not been before and it was chosen for a birthday treat. Despite the lovely location and the wonderful staff I was shocked by the price and disappointed by the very limited menu choices for vegetarians. Frankly it's probably the reason we shan't go again.

A nice enough breakfast with good local produce but somewhat expensive and not huge portions. A breakfast consisting two eggs a couple of rashers of bacon and two mini sausages was over seven pounds and didn't include a drink.

This has grown over recent years and now has a pottery painting option on site as well as a farm shop full of local produce. The coffee shop is very good value and very comfortable with options to eat inside or out. There is also a play area for the kids with swings and slides and arope swing over the stream. These are far enough away from the coffee shop for that to be peaceful and they also serve teas and icecream next to the swings!Kids Like going with opportunities to see pigs, cattle turkeys, and sheep. They cater for kids parties too. Rides round the farm ona tractor and trailer!

Love this location and being able to see animals on the farm, pigs, turkeys, chickens, cows, etc . Love the new farm shop and the wedding location under the coffee shop. I am sure next year when it is more widely known about , it will be very popular. Bit disappointed that yet again the opening hours have changed. No signs on the coffee shop door or the farm shop and apparently opening hours have shortened to 4.30 now? Shame. Very early especially at weekends.

Went for a lunch with family. All enjoyed our meals. The cakes looked excellent, but we were too full! Tap water requested by two and that was no trouble. Told by one of the party that this place does really good a Sunday lunch. So will be going back to give it a try.

Small modern tea room. There are a few sheep, pigs and ducks in pens. Small play area with an unfenced stream running thought it. So you need to watch the kids. Pity they didn't use part of the grass paddock opposite the tea room as a play area. The play area is in need of a bit of maintenance. There is a very very small shop, more like a walk in cupboard . So don't make a special trip to it.

On a walk around and stopped for some refreshment. The beer was well kept and the bar staff was polite. We observed a local having a Ploughmans Lunch and what a plate full.....we shall return in better time to this proper family friendly country pub......

We called on spec today for a quick lunch prior to visiting friends in the area. The welcome was friendly. Staff and customers were most welcoming to our two little dogs. How nice this was. The food was most acceptable . Decent-sized portions and a lovely selection of seasonal vegetables. Pity not all pubs are so accommodating.

A warm welcome for all your doggies here at the Fika Room cafe! We have visited several times now with our rather large Bernese Mountain Dog and we are always greeted warmly and have been happy with the staff, the cakes, the drinks and the way that dogs are accepted and welcomed indoors. The staff have always been chatty and very pleasant. Well done! We will be back!

What a smashing hostelry. Cosy bar with happy chat, great menu and tasty home cooked food to order. Really enjoyed a very pleasant hour ( found purely by chance). We will definitely be back for more and longer. Thank you.

Quality is good. However, the portion sizes have massively decreased, the Parmesan for example is half the size it used to be and is very very thin. Chips are only provided to share between the table, so this is a clear way of trying to save money. The Bay Horse always used to be consistently good when booking a large group. Unfortunately , this will be the last time I visit until they sort out their portion sizes for the price they charge I ordered and paid for drinks at the bar which cost me £40. 2 pints of Pepsi 2 J20 2 sparkling water 2 half pints of lemonade 1 lime and soda 2 lattes
